We present coincidence point theorem for g-non-decreasing mappings satisfying generalized nonlinear contraction on partially ordered metric spaces. We show how multidimensional results can be seen as simple consequences of our unidimensional coincidence point theorem. We also obtain the coupled coincidence point theorem for generalized compatible pair of mappings $F,G:X^2{\rightarrow}X$ by using obtained coincidence point results. Furthermore, an example and an application to integral equation are also given to show the usability of obtained results. Our results generalize, modify, improve and sharpen several well-known results.

Recently it is a tendency that Diesel rolling stock is committing in the commuter's train route of the suburb for solving commuting traffic congestion. It has advantage which expense of diesel rolling stock is relatively cheaper than electric rail car or high-speed train. In addition, it can be using the exist route without large-scale facility investment. Because of this advantage, the demand of diesel rolling stock occupy regular portion from overseas railway car market. GM/RT 2100 specifies the loads vehicle bodies shall be capable of withstanding, identifies how material data shall be used and presents the principles to be used for design verification by analysis. Therefore, in order to fulfill the structural requirements, Rotem Company has carried out Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to verify whether the carbody structure has enough strength to withstand the loads specified by GM/RT 2100. This research contains the results obtained by the analysis. The analysis was carried out using I-DEAS 12 NX Series

Trip reduction policies are increasingly utilized in U. S metropolitan areas to address congestion and air quality problems. These policies typically focus on the journey to work and are aimed at reducing the amount of drive-alone commuting by providing transit and ridesharing incentrives. Severe air quality problems in Southern California have prompted the air polluation control agency for theLos Angeles metropolitan area to enact Regulation XV. The regulation requres employers to develop and implement a trip reduction program to achieve specified ridesharing goals. It si the most ambitious and far reaching such program implemented to date, and offers a unique opportunity to determine whether such programs can significntly affect travel behavior . This paper presents results from the first year of Regulation XV's implementation.

The purpose of this study is to review current home-based work study and identify factors associated with the choice of home-based work. Home-based work as an alternative form of employment is being sought today by both workers and business. The information age with its empasis on the recoding and transfer of information along with the technology of telectommuting has increased potential for and attention to home-based work. Home-based work seems to have several advantages particulary for women who carry the double burden of household work and paid work. The reduction in traffic congestion and demand of fossil fuels that accompanies the elimination of commuting has also been seen as a important social benifit. Home-base work has potential that can improve women's labor force participation. Further study is needed to evaluate home-based work and critical advice to current and prospect workers.

The Iwahori-Hecke algebra $H_{k}$ ( $q^2$) of type A acts on the k-fold tensor product space of the natural representation of the quantum superalgebra (equation omitted)$_{q}$(gl(m, n)). We show the Hecke algebra $H_{k}$ ( $q^2$) and the quantum superalgebra (equation omitted)$_{q}$(gl(m n)) have commuting actions on the tensor product space, and determine the centralizer of each other. Using this result together with Gyoja's q-analogue of the Young symmetrizers, we construct highest weight vectors of irreducible summands of the tensor product space.

Let R be a prime ring (or semiprime ring) with center Z(R), I a nonzero ideal of R, T an automorphism of $R,S:R^n{\rightarrow}R$ be a symmetric skew n-derivation associated with the automorphism T and ${\Delta}$ is the trace of S. In this paper, we shall prove that S($x_1,{\ldots},x_n$) = 0 for all $x_1,{\ldots},x_n{\in}R$ if any one of the following holds: i) ${\Delta}(x)=0$, ii) [${\Delta}(x),T(x)]=0$ for all $x{\in}I$. Moreover, we prove that if $[{\Delta}(x),T(x)]{\in}Z(R)$ for all $x{\in}I$, then R is a commutative ring.

We introduce some new type of admissible mappings and prove a coupled coincidence point theorem by using newly defined concepts for generalized compatible pair of mappings satisfying ${\alpha}-{\psi}$ contraction on partially ordered metric spaces. We also prove the uniqueness of a coupled fixed point for such mappings in this setup. Furthermore, we give an example and an application to integral equations to demonstrate the applicability of the obtained results. Our results generalize some recent results in the literature.

The rapid urbanization in developing countries has caused trasportation problems that need to be solved. For that reason, the study evaluates the potential of cycling in the densely populated part of Kathmandu valley. Slopes and existing roads have been applied as the input cost rasters for finding the shortest cost routes between stations. By taking the average cycling velocity, time to travel from station to destination were compared with the average commuting time in the public transportation. The result comes out as similar time with the public transportation. Although the cycling seems potential replacement for public transportation commuters, in fact, there are some setbacks needed to be supported by the government to make it reality in future.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between mothers' marital adjustment and children's social adjustment in commuter couples. The subjects of this study were 96 mother-child dyads. The children were first to sixth grade in the elementary schools. For data analyses, one-way ANOVAs, Scheffe Test for pairwise comparison, Pearson's Correlation were used. Results indicated that there were significant differences in mothers' marital adjustment in terms of the duration of commuting, the number of children, the frequency of fathers' visit and frequency of making a call. And, there was significant difference in children's adaptation in terms of the frequency of fathers' visit. Also, there were significant positive correlations between mothers' marital adjustment subscales and children's social adjustment subscales in commuter couples.

This study is to clarify the actual conditions of school facilities in the rural area. The purpose of this paper is to present the direction for reorganization of school facilities. Surbey area was Uiseong, Gyeongbuk, the number of students decreased rapidly. And elementary, middle and high school facilities were surveyed. The results are as the follows; 1)After consider living zone, commuting distance, opinions of residents, it is advisable that the small size school(the number of students under 60) will be combined stronghold school. 2)Reorganization of school facilities should be considered that the characteristics of living zone, exchanging educational program between elementary and middle schools and an integrated use of the facility.
