공공도서관 실행공동체의 형성과정과 지속가능성을 위한 연구 (A Study on the Formation Process and Sustainability of Community of Practice in Public Libraries)

  • 이 연구는 공공도서관 실행공동체의 형성과 지속을 위하여 매개자로서의 사서의 필요성을 증명하고자 하였다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 공공도서관 실행공동체의 형성과정을 알아보기 위해 문헌연구를, 실행공동체의 매개자로서 사서의 인식을 알아보기 위해 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실행공동체(CoP)는 영역, 공동체, 실천을 바탕으로 지식을 순환시키는 공동체이다. 둘째, 실행공동체가 유지되기 위해서는 조직 내 리더와 조직 외 관리자의 중간 역할을 하며 운영을 지원하고 지식공유를 독려하는 매개자가 필요하다. 셋째, 공공도서관 사서가 발굴한 프로그램과 동아리는 잠재적 실행공동체이다. 이 잠재적 실행공동체는 참여자였던 공공도서관 프로그램의 수혜자가 프로그램의 제공자로 환원됨으로써 지속가능한 실행공동체로 발전한다. 넷째, 그러므로 공공도서관에서 실행공동체의 매개자는 사서이다.

학습공동체에 참여한 수학교사의 정체성 형성 과정에 대한 사례연구: 실천공동체 이론을 중심으로 (Case study on identity development of mathematics teachers involved in learning community: Based on the theory of "Community of Practice")

  • 수학 수업의 질적 향상을 도모하기 위한 교사 연수 및 개별적인 노력의 한계가 보고되며, 대안적인 교사 전문성 체제로 학습공동체가 주목받고 있다. 학습공동체는 공동 목표를 바탕으로 상호 참여를 통해 수학 교과 내용, 교육학, 교육과정에 대한 레퍼토리를 형성하는 하나의 실천공동체(Community of Practice, CoP)이고, 따라서 교사들의 학습은 실천공동체 이론으로 해석할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 고등학교 교사 학습공동체에 참여한 수학교사들의 정체성 형성 과정을 실천공동체 이론을 중심으로 탐색하였다. 성찰 저널, 협의록, 수업 영상 전사본의 귀납적 분석을 통해 수학교사들의 학습공동체 참여 경험을 도출하였고, 참여 관찰 기록지를 토대로 개별 인터뷰를 진행한 후 이를 유형적으로 분석하여 각 수학교사의 정체성 형성 과정을 탐색하였다. 연구 결과 수학교사는 학습공동체 참여를 통해 수학 교수·학습에 관한 실천 형성, 지속적인 반성과 성찰을 통한 교수 실행 개선, 공동체 몰입을 통한 함께의 가치 인식을 경험했고, 이 경험을 바탕으로 주변적 궤적, 내부지향 궤적, 내부자 궤적, 경계적 궤적, 외부지향 궤적 등을 보이며 다양하게 정체성을 형성하였다. 이를 바탕으로 학습공동체의 효과적 운영을 위한 시사점이 논의되었고 후속 연구가 제안되었다.

간호학생들의 방문 간호 실습 경험 (Nursing Students' Experiences in Visiting Care Practice)

  • Purpose: To examine nursing students' experiences in visiting care practice in community. Method: According to phenomenological method and Collaizzi's data analysis, all data were collected from March to June 2002 through written daily reports by 56 students in the visiting care unit of four public health centers. Four researchers had sought the daily reports for significant data. Result: In the research, 118 significant statements were selected and 33 subject groups were organized from the statements. From the 33 groups were identified 10 categories finally. which were as follows: stress, reflecting the nursing identity, considering the meaning of life, importance of family, necessity of social interest, compassion, worth of visiting care, the limits of visiting nursing care, identified characteristics of clients, both sides of the role model. Conclusion: Through visiting care practice, nursing students experienced stress, nursing identity, both sides of role model, and the worth and limits of visiting care, students felt the necessity of systems for lower classes and considering general characteristics of the clients. Above all, they came to have a wider perspective of the society through the practice.

영유아 가정방문간호를 위한 간호사의 역량 (Competencies of Nurses in a Maternal Early Childhood Sustained Home-Visiting Program)

  • Purpose: Competency is a key foundation of the nursing education curriculum and a baseline element of nursing practice. The purpose of this study was to explore the competencies of community health nurses in a maternal early childhood sustained home-visiting program based on nurses' field experiences. Methods: The participants were 21 nurses who had more than 1 year of experience in this program. Reflective interviews were performed; lasting 1 hour per nurse, on August 18, 2016, and the collected data were analyzed using qualitative directed content analysis. Results: Twenty-four themes were extracted for 9 competencies. The major themes included implementing a long-term relationship-based approach, providing client-led service rather than expert-led service, helping mothers with psychosocial difficulties, and applying skills in a practical manner in the home environment. Conclusion: In order to develop a home-visiting program as part of maternal-early childhood nursing practice, nurses should develop competencies that help them make significant and positive interventions. Results indicate that the curriculum for community health nurses should be changed to improve competencies in building relationships with clients and to focus on the application of skills in specific cases and in clinical practice.

당뇨병 적정관리를 위한 교육 실태 분석: 우리나라 보건소를 중심으로 (Focused on Diabetes Education Practice of Community Health Centers in Korea)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this article was to investigate the current practice of diabetes education along with the specific interventions, process, and outcomes in community health centers in Korea. Methods: Data were collected by a mail questionnaire from September 20, 2012 to December 20, 2012. Among 253, a total of 161 responded, constituting a 63.3% return rate. Results: Primary staff of diabetes education was the nurse and respondents recognized their role largely as a director. More than half of respondents provided education to people with type 2 diabetes by group. Most common service offered was nutrition therapy and the majority of respondents used printed materials. Among 4 criteria of outcomes, eating (nutrition), knowledge scores, blood pressure, and patients' survey on satisfaction were collected most frequently. Nearly three quarters of respondents were not participated in activities for quality improvement and outcomes were not reported properly. Conclusions: The results are able to draw ideas for organizing diabetes education programs and evaluating outcomes in community heath centers. This article has significance that it is the first comprehensive survey of diabetes education practice in community health centers and provides a baseline for establishing national standards of diabetes self-management education.

경기지역 일부 치위생과 학생의 대인관계능력, 사회적 지지와 임상실습만족도와의 관계 (Relations between Interpersonal Ability, Social Support, and Clinical Practice Satisfaction of Some Dental Hygiene Students in Gyeonggi province)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to provide the high-quality clinical practice environment education to students by researching the social support, major satisfaction, and interpersonal ability of dental hygiene students, analyzing factors having influence on the clinical practice satisfaction, and then increasing the satisfaction with clinical practice. Methods: 312 students who have completed clinical practice among dental hygiene major of three colleges in Gyeonggi province were collected by convenience sampling from April 18th to April 27th 2016. Using SPSS 20.0, descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted. Results: The clinical practice satisfaction was correlated with interpersonal ability(r=0.383, p<.001), social support(r=0.239, p<0.01), subjective health condition(r=0.226, p<0.01), and major satisfaction(r=0.287, p<0.01). When interpersonal ability and social support were high, subjective health condition was good, and major satisfaction was high, the clinical practice satisfaction was also high. Conclusions: Based on the results, it would be necessary to develop operational reinforcing social support and interpersonal ability of dental hygiene students, and also to make efforts to increase the clinical practice satisfaction of dental hygiene students by establishing measures to increase their major satisfaction.

지역약국에서 시행하는 복약지도의 질적 수준 평가 (Quality Evaluation of Medication Counseling in Korean Community Pharmacies)

  • Background: Medication counseling is important to improve qualify of pharmaceutical care, but there are lack of studies to investigate satisfied counseling practice in community pharmacies. Purpose: This study was to investigate current medication counseling provided by community pharmacists. Method: Questionnaires to assess medication counseling practices were mailed to nationwide 1,269 community pharmacists who were Sookmyung Women's University alumni. Result: One hundred sixty five pharmacists were responded to the questionnaires (response rate 13.63%). 16.8% of them all respondents had counseling room in their pharmacies. 75% and 29.9% of respondents provided patient counseling always for new and refilled prescriptions, respectively. Counseling was provided primarily by verbal, but especially for drug name, usage and storage, it was provided in written concurrently. 31.1% of respondents was satisfied with counseling practices by themselves, and a major barrier of unsatisfied counseling was lack of time in 64.6% of respondents. Majorities of respondents (66.3% and 76.3%) spent 1-3 minutes and <1 minute, for new prescription and refilled prescription, respectively. Approximate 99% of respondents presented necessity of standardized patient counseling information for drugs and 97.6% responded that quality of patient counseling would be improved by using software containing counseling information. Old respondent group had higher accumulative patient counseling practice scores and pharmacy owner group took much time for counseling, resulting in higher scores too. Conclusion: This study showed that qualified patient counseling practice has not been reached in community pharmacies. Much more discussion to seek ways to improve the quality would be necessary.

교사학습공동체 교사들의 과학 실천 기반 수업을 위한 PCK 구성 (Pedagogical Content Knowledge for Science Practice-Based Instruction Developed by Science Teachers in a Teacher Learning Community)

  • 본 연구에서는 과학 실천 수업을 위한 교사학습공동체를 형성한 5명의 중학교 과학 교사들이 1년간의 교사학습공동체 활동을 통해 과학 실천 수업에 관한 어떠한 PCK를 구성하였는지 분석하였다. 교사학습공동체에서 교사들은 협력적인 수업 설계, 수업 실행 공유 및 성찰을 반복하였다. 본 연구에서는 사전·사후 설문과 면담을 시행하고, 교사학습공동체 모임에 참여 관찰 및 녹음을 하고, 수업계획안, 과학 실천 수업 녹화 영상, 수업 일기 등의 자료를 수집하였다. PCK 이론적 틀에 기반하여 연역적으로 분석하고 다시 귀납적 분석을 통해 그 범주를 정교화하고 수정하여 본 연구의 교사들이 과학 실천 교육과정, 과학 실천 교수 전략, 학생의 과학 실천 학습, 과학 실천 학습평가의 네 가지 PCK 요소에 포함된 총 11개 하위 요소의 PCK를 구성한 것을 밝혔다. 본 연구의 교사들은 과학 실천 교육과정에 관한 지식으로 과학 실천 교육과정 자료에 관한 지식, 핵심 개념 선정 및 교육과정 구조화에 관한 지식을 구성하였고, 과학 실천 교수 전략에 관한 지식으로 과학 실천 특이적 전략, 과학 실천 활동 선정 및 구조화 전략, 과학 실천 학습 가이드 전략에 관한 지식을 구성하였다. 학생의 과학 실천 학습에 관한 지식으로 과학 실천 선지식, 과학 실천 수행 어려움, 과학 실천 동기, 과학 실천 수행 다양성에 관한 지식을 구성하였고, 과학 실천 학습 평가에 관한 지식으로 과학 실천 학습 평가내용, 과학 실천 학습 평가 방법에 관한 지식을 구성하였다. 본 연구의 교사들이 구성한 과학 실천 수업 PCK는 학생들의 과학 실천을 통한 핵심 개념 학습을 위해 고도로 구조화된 지식으로 사료된다.

호텔 근로자의 건강실천행위에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing Hotel Workers' Health Practices)

  • Purpose: This study was to investigate the factors influencing hotel workers' health practice. Methods: This study was based on the partial PRECEDE model. The subjects of this study were 261 servers sampled at random from a hotel located in Seoul. For the statistical analysis of collected data, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA and logistic regression were performed with the SAS (Version. 8.01) program. Results: There were statistically significant primary factors influencing different parts of health practice. That is, regular exercise was influenced by gender, age and marital status, diet habit was by marital status, and type of working, prohibition of smoking was by gender, age and type of employment, and drinking by gender and job stress. Conclusion: This study has a limitation in generalized application to hotels in this country because it is a cross-sectional examination about the factors affecting health practice in the employees of a hotel. Further study is needed with various and broad variables that promote health practice and contributed to the development of health promotion programs.
