곡률보상 기능을 갖는 0.35㎛ CMOS 저전압 기준전류/전압 발생회로 (0.35㎛ CMOS Low-Voltage Current/Voltage Reference Circuits with Curvature Compensation)

  • 본 논문에서는 $0.35-{\mu}m$ standard CMOS 공정에서 낮은 전력을 소모하면서 낮은 전원전압에서 동작하는 곡률보상 기능을 갖는 기준전류/전압 발생 회로를 제안한다. 제안된 회로는 weak-inversion 영역에서 동작하는 MOS 트랜지스터들을 사용함으로써 1V 이하 전원전압에서 동작할 수 있다. 시뮬레이션 결과는 제안되는 곡률보상 기술을 사용하여 기존의 곡률보상 기능이 없는 BGR 회로들처럼 종 모양이 아닌 사인 곡선과 같은 모양을 나타내 작은 TC 값을 보여준다. 제안된 회로들은 모두 0.9V의 전원전압에서 동작한다. 먼저, 기준전압 발생 회로는 176nW 전력을 소모하며, 온도 계수는 $26.4ppm/^{\circ}C$이다. 기준전류 발생 회로는 194.3nW 전력을 소모하며, 온도 계수는 $13.3ppm/^{\circ}C$이다.

충적층 입자 특성을 고려한 수평집수정 굴착 속도 추정 (Estimation of Drilling Velocity for Horizontal Wells Based on Alluvial Sediment Characteristics)

  • 강변여과수의 수평집수정 시공시 불균질성 지층에 의한 굴착 지연 등은 전체 굴착 공정에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 안성천 지역에서 시공 중인 수평집수정의 굴착 과정에서 심도별로 취득된 입도분석 자료, 균등계수, 곡률계수를 활용하여 실제 굴착 속도를 추정하는 방안을 제시하였다. 균등계수와 곡률계수를 입력인자로 사용한 회귀식을 도출한 후 타 수평집수정에 적용한 결과, 조립질이면서 분급이 양호한 지층에 추정식이 잘 맞는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 중소규모의 하천을 대상으로 개발된 만큼, 향후 대하천 주변의 굴착 정보를 활용하여 추정식을 보완한다면 보다 정확한 설계 및 효율적인 시공 관리가 가능할 것이다.

경전철 직결식 콘크리트 궤도구조의 열차주행안전성 평가 (Evaluation of Train Running Safety for Direct Fixation Concrete Track on Light Rapid Transit)

  • The coefficient of derailment and the rate of wheel load reduction were used as the index of train running safety that was directly affected the train derailment safety. In aspects of track, the train running safety depends on the complex interaction between wheel and rail, and the track-vehicle conditions (i.e., the curvature, cant, track system, vehicle speed and the operation conditions, etc). In this study, the relationship between the train running safety and the track curvature and vehicle speed for direct fixation concrete tracks currently employed in Korean light rapid transit was assessed by performing field tests using actual vehicles running along the service lines. The measured dynamic wheel load, lateral wheel load and lateral displacement of rail head were measured for same train running on four tested tracks under real conditions, which included curved and tangent tracks placed on the tunnel and bridge, thus increasing the train speed by approximately maximum design speed of each test site. Therefore, the measured dynamic track response was applied to the running safety analysis in order to evaluate the coefficient of derailment, the rate of wheel load reduction and the track gauge widening at each test site, and compare with the corresponding Korean train running safety standard. As the results, the lateral track response of direct fixation concrete track appeared to increase with the decreased track curvature; therefore, it was inferred that the track curvature directly affected the train running safety.

  • This paper describes the development of performance analysis technique for a leaf-type gas lubricated fail bearing. Stiffness coefficient and frictional damping due to the slip between all contacts of leaves are evaluated for various leaf structures. The fluid film thickness and pressure distribution are computed but it is not considered the elastic deformation by film pressure. The analysis results include the effects that the curvature radius and the length of leaf and the friction coefficient have on the static and dynamic characteristics of the foil bearings.

  • In this paper, we would like to give an answer to Problem 1 below issued firstly in [17]. In fact, by imposing some conditions on the mean curvature of the initial hypersurface and the coefficient function of the forcing term of a forced mean curvature flow considered here, we can obtain that the first eigenvalues of the Laplace and the p-Laplace operators are monotonic under this flow. Surprisingly, during this process, we get an interesting byproduct, that is, without any complicate constraint, we can give lower bounds for the first nonzero closed eigenvalue of the Laplacian provided additionally the second fundamental form of the initial hypersurface satisfies a pinching condition.

  • 원리적인 다양한 장점에도 불구하고 취급이 복잡하고 고차 연립방정식으로 표현되는 현실적 제한으로 인하여 실제 설계과정에서 잘 적용하지 않는 자이델 3차 수차를 이용하여 구한 코마수차 계수식으로부터 근사적인 제로조건을 만족하는 유한 물체거 리를 갖는 코마수차가 제거된 2반사경계의 초기설계에 유용한 곡률선형방정식을 유도하고 그 특징을 조사한다. 즉 주경과 부경의 곡률, 주경과 부경사이의 거리, 유효초점거리로 표현된 변형된 코마수차계수로부터 코마수차계수가 제거되는 조건에서 설계변수를 구하기 위해 전산수치해석 후 나온 데이터를 기반으로 주경과 부경사이의 선형관계가 나타나는 곡률선형방정식을 구하는 것이다. 이는 유한 물점의 코마수차가 보정된 2 반사경계에서 약간의 대수적인 계산만으로 최적화의 초기 입력 데이터를 손쉽게 구할 수 있는 것을 의미한다.

기계적 특성이 우수한 원통형 복합재료 안테나의 설계 및 충격 실험 (Design and Impact Testing of Cylindrical Composite-Antenna-Structures having High Mechanical Performanc)

  • The Objective of this work was to design Composite Antenna Structures (CAS) and investigate impact behavior of CAS which was various curvature. This term, CAS, indicates that structural surface becomes antenna. Constituent materials were selected considering electrical properties, dielectric constants and tangent loss as well as mechanical properties. For the antenna performance, microstrip antenna layers inserted into structural layers were designed for satellite communication at the resonant frequency of 12.5 GHz and final demonstration article was. After making five kinds of curved CAS, which radii of curvature are flat, 200, 150, 100, 50 mm. The antenna performance changed in accordance with variation of curvature. The Reflection coefficient was independent of curvature but the gain decreased with the radius of curvature. The impact test equipment was Dyna-8250 drop weight tester. The impact characteristic in accordance with curvature is maximum absorb energy is same each other. The impact energy was 8.5 J. For various Impact energy test, five energy levels 3 J, 5 J, 7 J, 10 J, 20 J were used. The performance of impact damaged antenna was estimated by measuring the return loss and the radiation pattern. It was revealed that the performance of antenna was not related to the impact damage. Because the impactor did not damage the patch directly. CAS have good impact stability for the antenna performance.

나선코일 튜브 내에서의 압력손실에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Pressure Loss in Helically Coiled Tubes)

  • The resistance coefficient and heat transfer performance are studied for the turbulent water flow in a smooth coiled tube having variable curvature ratios and a corrugated-coiled tube having a ratio of coil to tube diameter of 22. Experiments are carried out for the fully developed turbulent flow of water in tube coils on the uniform wall temperature condition. This work is limited to tube coils of R/a between 22 and 60 and Reynolds numbers from 13000 to 53000. The tube having a ratio of coil to tube diameter of 27 among the 3 smooth tube coils shows the best heat transfer performance. A corrugated-coiled tube(R/a=60) shows more excellent performance than a smooth coiled tub (R/a=60) at a similar curvature ratio. The friction factor f is sensitive to changes in the velocity profile caused by a temperature gradient. Allowance was made for the pressure loss in the short inlet and outlet lengths and due to the presence of the thermocouple inlet and outlet as a result of separate experimental on a straight tube. It is to be expected that the allowance at the exit will be somewhat too low because of secondary flow effects carried over from the coil.

  • Steady flow bench test is a practical, powerful and widely used test in most engine manufacturers to give a design concept of a new engine. In order to use steady data as a performance index, it is necessary to build some database, which can correlate the port characteristics with engine data. However, it is very hard to investigate all port and valve shapes with experimental tools. The steady flow scheme is relatively simple and its results are bulk ones such as flow rate and momentum of flow. Therefore a CFD code can be easily applied to the port evaluation. In this study, the steady flow test was simulated through two and three-dimensional analysis on intake port design for comparing with experimental data and confirming the feasibility of applying analytic method. For this purpose, the effect of valve curvature on flow rate was estimated by a CFD code. There results were compared with those of real steady flow tests. As a result, the 2-D analysis described the phenomena qualitatively well, and also the results of 3-D analysis were almost consistent with experimental data.
