  • A new controller design algorithm based on the Hessenberg form for linear control systems has een proposed. The controller is composed of the dynamic compensator and the state feedback (dynamic state feedback). The algorithm gives a simple way to assign the eigenstructure (eigenvalues and eigenvectors) of the closed loop system and it also provides a method to assign the frequency shapes near the corner frequencies of the closed loop transfer function matrix. Because of this property, the algorithm is called the independent frequency shape control (IFSC) method.

  • The regulator problem can be considered as some impulsive disturbance rejection one. In this point of view, the rate of decay is one of important factors for regulation and depends on how negative the real parts of the eigenvalues of closed-loop system. The algorithm that the closed-loop system has eigenvalues lying within a vertical. strip is useful for rapid disturbance rejection. This paper presents a design method for a linear quadratic regulator of two-time scale system with eigenvalues in a vertical strip by use of time-scale separation property.

  • In this paper, for high performance as drive, in the speed sensorless vector control of induction motor, introduced flux estimator of voltage model and error compensation algorithm using closed loop integration method, and then we proposed a improved flux estimation method of high accuracy. And the rotor speed is estimating using the stator current and the estimated flux, it is used speed information. The proposed scheme is verified through digital simulations and experiments for 3.7[kW] induction motor and shows good dynamic performance.

  • A small-signal low-frequency disturbance of the input line affects the regulated-output voltage of the series resonant converter. To mitigate the detrimental effect, the output feedback PI-controller is employed. Small-signal linear models are represented to characterize the closed loop series resonant converter system. Design equations for the PI-controller which satisfy stability and percent ripple conditions are derived from the closed-loop linear model. Experimental results are presented which show excellent correlation with theory.

  • We consider a single-input-single-output nonlinear system which can be represented in a normal form. The nonlinear system has a modeling uncertainties including the input coefficient uncertainty. A high-gain observer is used to estimate the states variables to reject a modeling uncertainty. A globally bounded output feedback integral sliding mode control is proposed to stabilize the closed loop system. The proposed integral sliding mode control can asymptotically stabilize the closed loop system in the presence of input coefficient uncertainty.

  • In this paper, the sliding mode-model following(SM-MF) power system stabilizer(PSS) including closed-loop feedback(CLF) for single machine system is extended to multimachine system. Simulation results show that the SM-MF multimachine stabilizer is able to achieve asymptotic tracking error between the reference model state and the controlled plant state at different initial conditions.

This SMO-MF PSS can be obtained by combining the sliding mode-model following(SM-MF) including closed-loop feedback(CLF) with the linear foil-order observer(LFOO).
