경력개발시스템 경력단계별 수술실 간호사 업무수행능력 비교 (Comparison of Nursing Performance by Career Levels in a Nurse Career Ladder System)

  • Purpose: This study was to compare nursing performance by career levels in a career ladder system. Methods: This survey was conducted with 140 OR staff nurses. Ten unit managers evaluated their own staff with a performance evaluation tool composed of 51 items. Data were analyzed by frequency, t-test, one-way ANOVA, ${\chi}^2$-test, and ANCOVA. Results: In career level CN II, nursing performance showed differences by personal characteristics. However, there was no significant difference in level CN III. CN IIIs' nursing performance was significantly higher than CN IIs' in all domains. Nursing performance of CN III was significantly higher than CN IIs' in 5 to 10 years of clinical experience. Although there was no significant difference in other clinical experience groups, CN IIIs' scores were always higher than CN IIs' Conclusion: The results indicate that nursing performance improves with career ladder advancement. Organizations should encourage advancement to higher levels and eliminate obstacles.

임상실습경험 간호대학생의 전공 만족도, 진로결정자율성 및 진로탐색행동의 관계 (Relationship Between Major Satisfaction, Career Decision Autonomy, and Career Search Behavior of Nursing College Students in Clinical Practice Experience)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify a causal relationship among major satisfaction, career decision autonomy, and career search behavior of nursing college students in clinical practice experience. Methods: Data were collected using a self-reported questionnaires from 197 nursing students in S city from December 1 to 23, 2016. These were then analyzed by descriptive statistics, ANOVA, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using SPSS/PC+ program. Results: The results suggest that major satisfaction was correlated with career decision autonomy; likewise, major satisfaction was correlated with career search behavior. The factors influencing career search behavior were grades and major satisfaction. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop a learning method considering interest and aptitude to increase the satisfaction of the major and to apply the various programs to understand the self and the work environment so as to determine how desirable the course will be.

첫 임상실습 전.후 간호학생이 지각한 간호사 이미지 (Nurses' Image perceived by Student Nurses before and after their First Clinical Practice)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify changes in nurses' image of student nurses before and after their first clinical practice. Method: Study samples were composed of 78 student nurses who were from nursing dept. of one college in G city. All participants had their first clinical practice for 4 weeks at two general hospitals in Gwangju. The internal consistency of the total scale was Cronbach's $\alpha$= .883. Results: After the first clinical practice, the mean score of nurses' image in general was lower than that of nurses' image before the clinical practice. In five subcategories, before the first clinical practice, professionalism and expertness were the highest followed by role performance, vision of a career, and temperature as a nurse in order but after the first clinical practice, professionalism was the highest score followed by expertness, temperature as a nurse, role performance, vision of a career in the mean scores of nurses' image. Conclusion: Based upon these findings, clinical practice will play an important role in improving role performance and vision of a nursing career for student nurses, so nursing administrators should make efforts to improve image of nurses in a variety of practice.

간호학생의 임상수행능력 경로모형 분석 (Validation of a Path Model on Clinical Practice Competency of the Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호학생의 비판적사고성향, 진로정체감, 간호전문직 자아개념, 임상실습만족 및 임상수행능력의 관계에 대한 경로모형을 검증하고자 시도되었다. 간호학생 581명을 대상으로 자가보고형 설문지를 이용하여 자료수집 하였다. 자료는 SPSS 및 AMOS 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 간호학생의 임상수행능력에 대해 비판적사고성향, 진로정체감, 간호전문직 자아개념 및 임상실습만족이 직접효과가 있었다. 그리고 비판적사고성향과 진로정체감이 간접효과가 있었다. 간호학생의 간호전문직 자아개념과 임상실습만족에 대해 비판적사고성향과 진로정체감이 직접효과가 있었다. 이러한 결과에서 간호학생의 임상수행능력에 영향을 미치는 요인을 고려하고, 적절하고 효율적인 교육과정 및 교수학습 프로그램을 개발해야 한다.

일부지역 치위생과 학생들의 자아존중감, 전공만족도 및 진로정체감과의 관련성 (Correlations of self-esteem, major satisfaction and career identity in dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the factors influencing on self-esteem, major satisfaction, and career identity. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 389 dental hygiene students in three colleges located in Metropolitan area. The questionnaire consisted of 5 questions of general characteristics, 10 questions of self-efficacy, 18 questions of major satisfaction, and 13 questions of career identity by Likert 5 scale. Cronbach's alpha was 0.92 in self-efficacy, 0.90 in major satisfaction, and 0.88 in career identity in the previous studies. Cronbach's alpha in this study was 0.911 in major satisfaction, 0.840 in self-efficacy, and 0.8090 in career identity. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, and stepwise multiple regressions. Results: The score was 3.47 in self-esteem, 3.79 in major satisfaction, and 3.03 in career identity. There were significant differences in self-esteem and major satisfaction based on grade, motivation for entering college, and clinical practice satisfaction. In case of career identity, there were significant differences based on characteristics, motivation for college choice, and clinical practice satisfaction. There was a positive correlation between negative self-esteem, positive self-esteem, general satisfaction, awareness satisfaction, curricula satisfaction, interpersonal relation satisfaction, and career identity. The influencing factors on career identity were aptitude, interest, self-esteem, and major satisfaction in order(p<0.001). Conclusions: The career identity is closely related to self-esteem and major satisfaction. It is desirable to open a variety of education courses and to develop systematic and practical programs to the students in order to improve the career identity.

간호대학생의 진로탐색과정: 예비간호사의 진짜 간호사 찾아가기 (Career Exploration Process of Nursing Student in Clinical Practice: A Voyage to Find the Authentic Nurse of Pre-registration Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study is to understand the experiences of career exploration among nursing students during their clinical practice and to develop a theoretical framework for the career exploration process. Methods: From February 2 to 28, 2015, data were collected through focus group interviews from 24 participating fourth-year nursing students. The data were analyzed using grounded theory. Results: The central phenomenon of 'confusion between the ideal and the reality of nursing' occurred in contexts for various reasons of choosing one's major, nurses in the ideal, a vague fear of the field, arduous nursing assignments in the field, and severe adversity in the nursing field. Nursing students tried to deal with their confusion by using interaction strategies such as pursuing the intrinsic value of nursing, finding role models, trying to project oneself, and preparing for adapting to reality. The career exploration process in clinical practice was a voyage to discover the authentic nurse of the pre-registration nurse. Conclusion: This result shows that nursing students were to gain confidence in their career choices by finding the value of nursing and interacting with patients. Therefore, opportunities for learning experiences about interaction with patients and various positive experiences in clinical practice should be provided for nursing students.

간호학생의 진로정체감 영향요인 (Factors Affecting Career Identity of Nursing Students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate factors affecting the career identity of nursing students. Method: Subjects were 313 nursing students in Daegu. Consent from teachers and students were arbitrarily obtained. Mean, standard deviation, and regression determinations utilized SPSS version 12.0. Results: Career identity score of subjects was $31.79{\pm}5.78$ on basis of 56. Factors identified to be influential to career identity included time of career decision, self-evaluated career performance, satisfaction with clinical practice and college admittance. The influence of the factors on career identity was rated as 64.1% that is high value. Conclusions: The identified factors are important in determining career identity of nursing students. Further studies are needed to generalize these results and examine widely affecting variables of career identity.

간호사의 임상경력과 조직 내 의사소통이 팀워크 역량에 미치는 영향 (The influence of nurses' clinical career and communication within organization on teamwork competency)

  • 간호사는 다양한 직종 및 학제로 구성된 치료 팀의 일원으로서, 간호사의 팀워크 역량은 환자의 치료와 안전에 직접적인 영향을 준다. 이에, 본 연구는 간호사들의 팀워크 역량에 미치는 영향요인을 파악하고, 팀워크 역량 강화의 기초적 자료를 제공하고자 시도하였다. 본 연구는 경기지역의 A 대학병원에 근무하는 간호사를 대상으로 2015년 7월 20일부터 7월 31일까지, 총 141부의 설문을 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 IBM SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, Pearson correlation coefficient, multiple regression등의 방법으로 분석되었다. 대상자의 평균 임상경력은 $8.84{\pm}6.70$년이었으며, 조직 의사소통은 평균 $3.05{\pm}0.44$점, 팀워크 역량은 평균 $3.60{\pm}0.46$으로 나타났다. 대상자들의 팀워크 역량에 대하여 조직 의사소통의 각 하부영역과 임상경력을 투입한 회귀모형의 설명력은 37.7%(F=17.84, p<.001)였으며, 팀워크 역량에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 변수는 수직적 의사소통, 임상경력, 수평적 의사소통으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 통해, 간호사들의 팀워크 역량을 높이기 위해서는 임상 경력이 낮은 간호사를 대상으로 팀워크 역량을 높일 수 있는 방안이 필요하며, 조직 내 의사소통의 개선이 필요하다.

The Effects of Major Satisfaction, Clinical Practice Satisfaction and Career Consciousness Maturity of Nursing Students on Job-Seeking Stress

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 전공만족도, 임상실습만족도, 진로의식성숙이 취업취업스트레스에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 시도되었다. 본 연구는 K지역 소재 K대학의 3,4학년 간호대학생 157명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문을 통해 데이터를 수집하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 간호대학생의 취업스트레스는 전공만족도(r=-.270, p<.001), 임상실습만족도(r=-.283 p<.001), 진로의식성숙(r=-.424, p<.001)과 유의한 상관관계를 나타내었고, 간호대학생의 취업스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인은 전공만족도(β=-0.005, p<.05), 임상실습만족도(β=-0.126, p<.001), 진로의식성숙(β=-0.369, p<.001)에 의하여 17.7% 설명력을 나타냈다. 따라서 간호대학생의 취업스트레스를 줄여주기 위한 교육 프로그램의 개발과 적용이 필요하다.

간호대학생이 임상실습에서 경험하는 무례함, 대처, 진로정체감 및 소진의 관계 (The Relationships among Incivility, Coping, Career Identity and Burnout in Nursing Students during Clinical Practice)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생이 임상실습에서 경험하는 무례함, 대처, 진로정체감 및 소진의 관계를 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 2017년 07월 03일부터 2017년 08월 22일까지 G시에 소재하는 간호대학생 199명을 편의표집 하였으며, 대상자들에게 무례함, 대처, 진로정체감, 소진과 관련된 자기보고형식의 설문지를 작성하도록 하였다. SPSS 23.0을 사용하여 t-검정, ANOVA, Pearson's 상관분석 및 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 분석결과 본 연구에 참여한 간호대학생 중 87.9%가 무례함을 경험한 적이 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 무례함은 회피중심(r=.19, p=.009), 문제해결중심(r=.18, p=.011), 사회적 지지추구(r=.20, p=.004), 소진(r=.27, p<.001)과 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였으며, 진로정체감(r=-.24, p=.001)과는 유의한 음의 상관관계를 보였다. 진로정체감은 회피중심대처(r=-.31, p<.001), 소진(r=-.62, p<.001)과 유의한 음의 상관관계를 보였으며, 문제해결중심대처(r=.18, p=.012)와는 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 주요변수인 무례함, 대처, 진로정체감은 소진을 설명하는 변수로 확인되었으며, 그 설명력은 48.6%였다.
