어린이집 원장의 멀티플라이어십이 보육교사의 교사협동과 동료지원에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Daycare Center Directors' Multipliership on Teacher Cooperation and Colleague Support of Child Care Teacher)

  • 본 연구는 어린이집 원장의 멀티플라이어십이 보육교사의 교사협동과 동료지원에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보았다. 이를 위해 두 가지 연구문제를 설정하였다. 첫째, 원장의 멀티플라이어십이 교사의 교사협동에 미치는 영향은 어떠한가? 둘째, 원장의 멀티플라이어십이 교사의 동료지원에 미치는 영향은 어떠한가? 어린이집 원장의 멀티플라이어십과 보육교사의 교사협동과 동료지원에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 연구대상은 S시와 G도에 소재하고 있는 어린이집에 근무하고 있는 보육교사 234명을 대상으로 하였으며, 본 연구의 자료처리방법은 SPSS 20.0 program을 사용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도, 상관관계 및 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 나타난 결과를 연구문제 중심으로 논의하면 다음과 같다. 본 연구의 결과를 종합하여 보면, 멀티플라이어십의 하위요소인 생산적 토론 정착하기, 개인적 가치 문화조성, 구성원 결속력 높이기, 신나게 일하기는 보육교사의 교사협동과 동료지원에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 어린이집 원장은 타인에 대한 배려와 공동체적 의식을 바탕으로 교사의 강점을 인정하고, 발달시킬 수 있도록 열린 분위기를 조성하고, 구성원들의 결속력이 단단하게 해주는 멀티플라이어십을 갖고, 교사들이 스스로 기대 이상의 성과를 달성할 수 있도록 협동적이고 긍정적인 조직문화를 형성하는 데 이바지하여, 보육의 질을 향상시킨다는 시사점을 도출하였다.

맞벌이가족의 부모역할 긴장과 부부관계 (Parenting Stress and Marital Satisfaction among Dual-earner Families)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the impacts of various stressors among dual-earner families on parenting stress and marital satisfaction. Using a survey data collected from 168 dual-earner couples, this study investigated impact of various stressors, including husband division of labor, the satisfaction of childcare arrangement, husband's support on wife's outside work, family socioeconomic status, and strains from job. The finding suggested that, after controlling background variables(length of marriage, the number of children, and family income), high husbands' support on wife's outside work and low strains about their work hours had influenced on higher parenting stress among fathers, while high strains about their work hours had related to high parenting stress among mothers. It also found that high satisfaction on childcare arrangement and low depression were the factors predicting higher marital satisfaction of mothers, and high support on their wife's outside work, low work role strain, low depression, and low parenting stress had influenced on higher marital satisfaction among fathers. Discussions and recommendations for future research were added.

보육교사의 전문성이 직무성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Childcare Teachers Professionalism on Job Performance)

  • 본 연구는 보육교사의 전문성이 직무성과에 미치는 영향정도를 분석하고 보육교사의 직무성과를 높여 교사 효능감을 증진 시키고 직무 만족에 도움이 되는 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 수집된 자료의 통계처리는 SSPPWIN 21.0 프로그램을 통해 살펴본 결과, 보육교사가 인식하고 있는 전문적 지식과 이해, 기술, 태도의 수준이 높으면 높을수록 직무성과가 높게 나타났으며, 보육교사의 연령과 학력, 경력이 높을수록 전문성에 대한 수준이 높았으며, 전문성에 대한 필요성과 중요성을 자각한다고 볼 수 있다. 또한 어린이집 유형별에 맞는 운영 방안을 개발하고, 보육서비스의 질을 높이기 위한 보육관련 행정기관이나 지자체 차원의 다양한 정책적, 제도적 뒷받침이 필요하다. 보육교사 전문성과 직무성과 증진을 위한 프로그램을 개발하고 정기적인 교육, 연수 및 워크샵 등을 실시하여 보육현장에 적용할 수 있도록 지원해야 할 것이다. 본 연구는 보육교사의 전문성이 직무성과에 미치는 영향을 확인함으로써 어린이집 보육교사의 바람직한 전문성 및 효율적인 조직목표달성을 위한 어린이집 전문성 수준의 증진 방안과 어린이집 보육교사의 직무성과를 높여 교사 효능감을 증진 시키고 직무 만족에 도움이 되는 기초자료를 제공하는데 의의가 있다.

  • 본 연구는 보육교사의 자기성찰지능과 영유아권리 존중 보육의 관계를 확인하고, 이들 간의 관계에서 전문성의 매개효과를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 J시 지역에 근무하고 있는 보육교사 351명이다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 24.0 통계프로그램을 사용하여 신뢰도분석, 기술통계, 상관분석, 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 보육교사의 자기성찰지능과 영유아권리 존중 보육, 전문성은 모두 유의한 정적 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 보육교사의 자기성찰지능과 영유아권리 존중 보육 간 관계에서 전문성의 부분매개효과가 나타나, 자기성찰지능은 영유아권리 존중 보육에 정적인 영향을 미치며 매개변인인 전문성은 자기성찰지능이 영유아권리 존중 보육에 미치는 영향력을 증가시킨다는 것이 확인되었다. 따라서 보육교사의 자기성찰지능과 전문성은 영유아권리 존중 보육을 실행하는데 의미 있는 변인이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구결과는 영유아권리 존중 보육을 위해 보육교사의 자기성찰지능과 전문성을 지원할 수 있는 방안이 제시되어야 함을 시사한다.

맞벌이 가정의 자녀 돌봄 서비스 프로그램 개발 연구: 민간기관 제공 서비스를 중심으로 (A Study on the Development and Management of a Childcare Service Program for the Dual-Income Family: A Focus on the Service of Nongovernmental Institutions)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop childcare service program through the analysis of the market and the needs of current users. For the purpose of this study, qualitative data were collected by use of an in-depth interview with staffs of Healthy Family-Support Center and outside experts. In addition, information about the chilldcare service market was analyzed. At present, a lot of childcare services are offered by both government sector and private sector institutions, but there is both an overlapping and a gap in the services offered. Based on our data, childcare service was suggested for dual income families with elementary school children. And the curriculum to train individuals for this childcarer service program was developed. The curriculum's focus was to nurture them to offer more specialized and custom-tailored services.

Q 방법론을 활용한 어린이집 원장의 역량에 대한 인식 분석 (Analysis of the Perceptions on Daycare Center Directors' Competence Based on the Q Methodology)

  • Objective: This research examines the understanding of the competencies required from the director of a childcare center. It also analyzes the characteristics of the capabilities of a director of a daycare center. The research questions are as follows: First, what are the competencies of a childcare center director? Second, what are the characteristics of the competencies of a childcare center director? Methods: In this study, the Q methodology was applied. First, the Q population was identified based on prior studies and through open questionnaires and in-depth interviews targeting 71 teachers and directors of childcare centers. Next, 40 Q samples were selected. Second, P samples were selected targeting the 30 directors, Q sort was conducted, and the data were analyzed using the QUANL program. Results: The main results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, four types of competencies were demanded from the director of a daycare center. Second, the competencies required from the director of a daycare center were accountability-centered, functional-management-centered, human-relationshipcentered, and rationality-centered capabilities. Conclusion/Implications: The policy-level of and educational ways to support the competencies of a director of a daycare center were discussed.

산후우울 예측요인 (The Predictors of Postpartum Depression)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to determine the predictors of postpartum depression. Method: One hundred-sixty one women within one year after delivery from one public health center located in the northern area of Seoul were used in this study. The instruments were a survey of general characteristics, the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale, recent life events index, perceived social support from family, Quality of marriage index, parenting stress index, and Rosenberg's self-esteem inventory. Data was analysed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficients, and logistic regression. Result: The average item score of the EPDS was 6.67. 12.4% of respondents, who scored above a threshold 12, were likely to be suffering from a depression of varying severity. The fitness of the model for explaining postpartum depression from six variables, plan for pregnancy, family support, quality of marital relation, perceived social support, life events, childcare stress, and self-esteem, was statistically significant and the predictive power of these variables was 90.9%. The significant predictors of postpartum depression were family support and child care stress. Conclusion: Further research is needed to identify the prevalence rate of postpartum depression using more reliable sampling methods from a large general population. Nursing interventions need to be developed for promoting family support and reducing childcare stress.

Predictors of Maternal Identity of Korean Primiparas

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing maternal identity of Korean primiparas. Methods: The data were collected by a self-report questionnaire in 2006. The participants were 210 healthy primiparous women who delivered at one of three medical centers and revisited the outpatient department for follow up between 4 to 6 weeks after childbirth. Data were analyzed using the SPSS WIN 17.0 program with descriptive statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: Maternal identity was significantly correlated with Taekyo accomplishment, the culturally based prenatal preparation (p<.001). Transitional gratification to motherhood (p<.001), postpartum depression (p<.001), childcare stress (p<.001), infant temperament (p<.001), and social support (p<.001) were also significantly correlated with maternal identity. The stepwise multiple regression analysis showed that maternal identity was significantly predicted by transitional gratification to motherhood, infant temperament, childcare stress, and Taekyo accomplishment. These variables explained 31.0% of the variance of maternal identity. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that postpartum nursing interventions to promote maternal identity should focus on reinforcing education and support for reducing childcare stress and infant difficulty, and increasing transitional gratification to motherhood. Also, prenatal encouragement and education for improving Taekyo accomplishment may be helpful to promote maternal identity after birth.

영아의 기질과 교사의 놀이 관련 특성이 2세반 영아의 상상놀이에미치는 영향 (Effects of Toddler Temperament and Teacher's Play-Related Characteristics on Imaginative Play in Two-Year-Old Classrooms)

  • Objective: This study aimed to investigate the effects of children's characteristics and childcare teachers' attributes on the frequency and level of imaginative play in two-year-old classrooms. Methods: The study involved 191 toddlers, their mothers, and 32 teachers from childcare centers. Toddler characteristics encompassed temperament along with demographic variables such as gender and age. Teacher' attributes related to play included playfulness, play-support belief, and interactions with toddlers. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 22.0 and HLM 8.2 software, employing basic analysis, hierarchical linear analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. Results: First, as toddlers' age increased, both the frequency and level of their imaginative play increased. Second, individual-level model analysis revealed a positive effect of toddlers' extroversion on the level of imaginative play. Third, the class-level model results indicated that teachers' emotions had a negative effect, whereas their encouragement positively influenced the level of imaginative play. Conclusion/Implications: The significance of this study lies in its utilization of a multilayered model analysis, which offers a more robust examination of variable influences by accounting for hierarchical data structures.
