지역아동센터 이용 어린이의 비만관리의 한계점과 모바일폰의 잠재적인 활용 가능성: 어린이와 보호자 대상의 질적 연구 (Current Barriers of Obesity Management of Children Using Community Child Care Centers and Potential Possibility of Utilizing Mobile Phones: A Qualitative Study for Children and Caregivers)

  • Objectives: This study was performed to identify the current barriers of obesity management for children using Community Child Care Centers and their caregivers (parents and teachers working in the Centers). Further, this study explored the possibility of utilizing a mobile phone application for tailored obesity prevention and management programs to overcome the current difficulties associated with children's obesity management. Methods: The qualitative data were collected through in-depth interviews with 20 obese and overweight children or children who wanted to participate in this study using Community Child Care Centers, 12 teachers working at the Centers, and a focus group interview with five parents of children using the Centers. Data were analyzed with a thematic approach categorizing themes and sub-themes based on the transcripts. Results: The current barriers of obesity management of obese and overweight children using Community Child Care Centers were lack of self-directed motivation regarding obesity management (chronic obesity-induced lifestyles and reduced self-confidence due to stigma) and lack of support from households and Community Child Care Centers (latchkey child, inconsistency in dietary guidance between the Center and household, repetitive pressure to eat, and absence of regular nutrition education). Mobile phone applications may have potential to overcome the current barriers by providing handy and interesting obesity management based on visual media (real-time tracking of lifestyles using behavior records and social support using gamification), environmental support (supplementation of parental care and network-based education between the Community Child Care Center and household), and individualized intervention (encouragement of tailored and gradual changes in eating habits and tailored goal setting). It is predicted that the real-time mobile phone program will provide information for improving nutritional knowledge and behavioral skills as well as lead to sustainable children's coping strategies regarding obesity management. In addition, it is expected that environmental factors may be improved by network-based education between the Community Child Care Centers and households using the characteristics of mobile phones, which are free from space and time constraints. Conclusions: The tailored education program for children using Community Child Care Centers based on mobile phones may prevent and reduce childhood obesity by overcoming the current barriers of obesity management for children, providing environmental and individualized support to promote healthy lifestyles and quality of life in the future.

  • The purpose of this study was to understand the variables affecting the dual role strain and the satisfaction with the life of working mothers, Based on this result, the family policies for the balance between family life and work were proposed. 1) For the family, husband's psychological and behavioral supports were needed to wives as workers. 2) For business, the child care support and services have to be provided for children of both male and female employees. 3) For the government, the policies can be proposed : child care center or support and service in the business, child care program after school hours, insurance policies for child safety, deduction in income taxes corresponding expenditures for child care service.

유아교육·보육기관 평가인정제 개발 연구 (Accreditation Standards and Procedures for Institutions of Early Childhood Education and Care)

  • A large sample (1090) of randomly selected early childhood education professionals and government officials rated each of the 133 standards of "A Model for Institutional Accreditation for Early Childhood Education and Care"(Yang, 1999) on a scale of 1 (least important) to 5 (most important). Findings were that all kindergartens and child care centers should be evaluated for accreditation every 3 years with 3-6 months for self-study and on-site validation visits by representatives of the appropritates agencies for 1-2 days. Evaluation results are should be used by institution personnel as a guide to self-supervision, by government officials as a funding standard and by parents as criteria of program quality. Essential accreditation standards included: facilities and equipment; curriculum; nutrition, health and safety; administration and management; and support systems. Safety and teacher-child interactions were most highly rated while parent involvement was not highly rated.

연장입양아 가족의 부모-자녀 애착증진 프로그램 개발 및 효과연구 (The Development and Evaluation of a Program to Improve Parent-Child Attachment in Families Adopting an Older Child)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate an attachment improvement program for families adopting an older child. The objectives and contents of this program reflected on the experiences of adopted parents and the characteristics of older-age adoptee children with attachment disruption. The program consisted of three components: parent-child relationship building, parenting skills enhancement for adopted parents, and negative emotions mediation for the older-age adoptees. The subjects of program were eight parent-child dyads. Differences between pre- and post-test data showed statistically significant improvements in the quality of parent-child relationships, communication levels with parents, and the parents' autonomic levels. There was also a reduction in the children's social problems. The implications of this study were discussed in terms of improving parent-child attachments in families adopting an older child.

신생아집중치료실 간호사를 위한 시뮬레이션 기반 응급기도 관리 교육 프로그램 개발 및 효과 (Development and Effects a Simulation-based Emergency Airway Management Education Program for Nurses in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of an educational intervention by evaluating neonatal emergency airway management knowledge, critical thinking disposition, problem-solving ability, and confidence in clinical performance after developing and operating a simulation-based neonatal emergency airway management education program for nurses in a neonatal intensive care unit. Methods: The participants were 30 nurses in a neonatal intensive care unit. Data were collected from June 6 to 15, 2018 and analyzed using IBM SPSS version 22.0. Results: The results of the pretest and posttest for each educational group showed statistically significant improvements in neonatal emergency airway management knowledge, critical thinking, problem-solving ability, and confidence in clinical performance. Conclusion: The simulation-based neonatal emergency airway management training program was an effective educational program that enhanced neonatal emergency airway management knowledge, critical thinking disposition, problem-solving ability, and confidence in clinical performance among nurses in a neonatal intensive care unit. Therefore, it is suggested that the program described in this study can contribute to improving nursing quality by enhancing the ability of nurses to cope with emergencies in practice. It can also be used for education for new nurses and contribute to the development of nurses' practices.

보육교사의 사회적 지지, 직무스트레스, 소진 간 구조관계 (Structural Relationship Between Social Support, Job Stress, and Child Care Teachers' Burnout)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 보육교사의 소진에 영향을 미치는 사회적 지지, 직무스트레스 변인 간 구조관계를 분석하는데 있다. 연구대상은 어린이집에 재직 중인 보육교사 432명으로 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21. 0 및 AMOS 22.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 구조방정식 모델을 설정하고 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 첫째, 사회적 지지는 보육교사의 직무스트레스에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회적 지지는 보육교사의 소진에 직접 효과는 나타나지 않고 간접효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 보육교사의 직무스트레스는 보육교사의 소진에 직접효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 분석결과를 통해 보육교사의 소진 감소 방안으로는 구성원의 사회적 지지 강화 및 정부의 제도적 지원이 필요시 된다.

보육교사의 플로리시와 영유아권리존중보육 간 영향 관계에서 자기주도직무설계의 조절효과 탐색 (Exploring the Moderating Effect of Job Crafting in the Relationship between Child-care Teachers' Flourish and Care that Respects the Rights of Child)

  • 보육교사 직무의 중요성은 최근 대전환적 사회 환경 변화로 인해 크게 부각되고 있지만 수행 여건이 상당히 열악하여 다양한 직무요인 측면의 관리가 필요한 상황이다. 그에 본 연구는 보육교사와 관련된 실무적 활용과 제도적 지원을 위한 정보 제공을 목적으로 플로리시, 영유아권리존중보육, 자기주도직무설계를 선택하여 기능적 영향관계와 효용성을 검증하였다. 이들 변수를 활용하여 보육교사를 대상으로 이루어진 국내 연구가 부존하기 때문에 보육교사 223명을 대상으로 위계적회귀분석 등을 실시하여 시초적 정보를 취득하였다. 분석결과, 연령대에 따른 플로리시, 근무시간에 따른 부정적 직무요구 감소만 집단별 평균 차이가 확인되었고, 플로리시가 영유아권리존중보육에 선행하며 정적(+) 영향력을 미치는 것으로 파악되었다. 그리고 자기주도직무설계 중 사회적 직무자원 증진이 조절효과를 나타내는 것으로 판명되었다. 따라서 본 연구가 제공한 정보를 토대로 직무 관리 전략을 새롭게 마련하고 실효성 높은 요인별 강화 프로그램이 필요하다.

보육교사의 직무 소진, 임파워먼트가 행복플로리시에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Job Burnout and Empowerment on the Flourishing of Child Care Teachers)

  • 본 연구는 보육교사의 직무소진, 임파워먼트, 행복플로리시 간의 상관관계와 직무소진과 임파워먼트가 행복플로리시에 미치는 상대적 영향력을 알아보고자 하였다. 서울, 경기, 전남 지역의 보육교사 296명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 자료처리는 SPSS 21.0을 이용하여 상관 분석과 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 직무소진은 임파워먼트 및 행복플로리시와 유의미한 부적상관을 보였고 임파워먼트는 행복플로리시와 유의미한 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 보육교사의 행복플로리시에 미치는 상대적인 영향력은 임파워먼트가 직무소진보다 높았고, 하위요인별로 미치는 영향력은 임파워먼트의 지위, 전문성, 자율성, 자아효능감 요인과 직무소진의 직무환경 불만족 요인 순이었다. 이 같은 결과는 보육의 질 제고를 위한 기초자료를 제공했다는 점에서 시사하는 바가 있으며, 보육교사의 행복플로리시 증진을 위해 직무소진을 낮추고 임파워먼트를 높일 수 있는 효율적인 방안, 즉 직무 환경의 개선, 보육교사의 지위와 자율성 보장, 전문성 함양을 위한 지원 강화 등이 모색되어야 할 것이다.

예비유아교사 대상 메이커 교육 모형 적용에 따른 변화 탐색 (Exploring Changes in the Application of Maker-education for Prospective Child Care Teachers)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to conduct maker-education for prospective child care teachers explore changes and for the results to be used as a basic data to study the utilization of maker-education. Methods: To that end, 36 prospective child care teachers attending nursery school applied to the maker-education program and to the curriculum of children's literature and play. The collected interview materials and student journals were qualitatively analyzed. Results: The results showed that prospective child care teachers started with mixed expectations and but then actively participated in worries classes with interest and had fun. Also, in the stage of sharing, they changed from having difficulty communicating with colleagues to developing an attitude of cooperation and unity through communication. In addition, it has been shown that from feeling the difficulties of planning, planning changes and modifications are directly related to their development and that they are quickly and wisely dealt with. Conclusion/Implications: It is recognized that there is a need for a follow-up study to verify the effect of this as meaningful implications are derived from the effects of positively accepting feedback, planning to attempt a step-by-step approach, and active attitude toward communication between colleagues.

보육교사의 긍정심리자본이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향: 직무스트레스의 매개효과 (The Effect of Child Care Teachers' Positive Psychological Capital on Organizational Commitment: Mediating Effect of Job Stress)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to reduce job stress among child care teachers and enhance the quality of child care by examining the mediating effect of job stress in the relationship between positive psychological capital and the organizational commitment of child care teachers. Methods: The subjects of this study were 560 childcare teachers in Gyeonggi-do, and 465 questionnaires were ultimately analyzed. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and structural equation model were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0. Results: As a result of the study, first, positive psychological capital of childcare teachers showed a positive correlation with organizational commitment. Additionally, both positive psychological capital and organizational commitment showed a negative correlation with job stress. Second, the direct effect of childcare teachers' positive psychological capital affecting organizational commitment was significant, and the direct effect of job stress affecting organizational commitment was also significant. It was found that positive psychological capital of childcare teachers significantly influenced organizational commitment through job stress. Conclusion/Implications: Therefore, providing an educational program to help childcare teachers enhance their positive psychological capital and foster commitment to the organization can significantly contribute to the improvement of childcare quality.
