초임보육교사의 웹기반 학습경험, 학습유형, 인터넷 자기효능감이 웹기반 학습신념에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Web-based Learning Experiences, Learning style, and Internet Self-efficacy on the Beliefs of Beginning Child Care Teachers about Web-based Learning)

  • 본 연구는 초임보육교사의 웹기반 학습경험, 학습유형, 인터넷 자기효능감이 웹기반 학습신념에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위한 것이었다. 이를 위해 P시에 위치한 어린이집에 근무하고 있는 초임보육교사 215명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하고 자료분석은 t 검증, ANOVA, 상관분석, 중다회귀 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 초임보육교사의 웹기반 학습경험 중 온라인교사 커뮤니티 이용 유무와 빈도에 따라 웹기반 학습신념에 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 초임보육교사의 학습유형에 따라 웹기반 학습신념에 차이가 있었으며 특히 융합형의 교사들이 웹기반 학습의 어려움에 대한 신념이 높았다. 셋째, 초임보육교사의 인터넷 자기효능감은 웹기반 학습신념과 정적상관을 보였으며 인터넷 자기효능감이 높은 교사들이 웹기반 학습의 행동적 신념과 맥락적 신념이 높았다. 넷째, 초임보육교사의 웹기반 학습신념에 미치는 상대적 영향력은 행동적 신념, 맥락적 신념, 어려움 신념에 따라 그 영향요인이 달랐으며 주로 온라인교사 커뮤니티 이용과 인터넷 자기효능감이 가장 많은 영향을 주는 변인으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 초임보육교사의 웹기반 학습에 대한 긍정적인 신념을 높이기 위해 이들의 웹기반 학습경험과 인터넷 자기효능감을 높일 수 있는 방안 모색이 필요함을 시사하였다.

부모의 양육효능감, 체벌지지도가 학령기 아동학대에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Parenting Self-efficacy and Belief in Corporal Punishment on Physical Abuse of Children in Korea)

  • Purpose: This survey was done to describe parenting self-efficacy and beliefs in corporal punishment as they are related to child abuse. Also demographic variables that influence child abuse were investigated. Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted during the second week of April 2002. The 160 participants were parents of students in five elementary schools in the J area of Korea. They replied to a structured questionnaire, and 129 replies were included in the final analysis. The WIN SPSS program was used for the analysis. Result: Parenting self-efficacy, beliefs in corporal punishment and child abuse showed no significant differences according to gender of the children. Child abuse by parents has significantly negative correlation with parenting self-efficacy (r=-.369, p=.000), socioeconomic states of family(r=-.290, p=.001), educational level of mother(r=-.211, p=.027), educational level of father(r=-.342, p=.000), parent's age(r=-.200, p=.028). Stepwise multiple regression showed that parenting self-efficacy and beliefs in corporal punishment significantly influence child abuse in Korean parents. Conclusion: As parenting self-efficacy explained 49.7% of child abuse, it is the most important variable for preventing child abuse. Belief in corporal punishment was the second most important variable in preventing child abuse. These two variables explained 53.3% of variance in child abuse by parents.

임부의 태교관련 지각, 태교관행 및 태교관점 모-태아상호작용 신념 (Mother's perceptions and practices of Taegyo, Belief toward Korean Mother-Fetus Interaction)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore mother's perception and practice of Taegyo. In addition, belief factors toward Taegyo oriented Korean mother-fetus interaction are identified in order to obtain baseline data for the development of Taegyo oriented program enhancing mother-fetus interaction. Method: The sample consisted to 186 pregnant women who visited public health center or hospital for prenatal care. Self-reporting questionnaire devised by investigator was used. Data were analyzed by SPSS win program and contents analysis was used. Result: Although mothers intended to a pregnancy, many of them were perceived negatively toward pregnancy. The study revealed that most of pregnant women continued cultural practices related to Taegyo, they focused on mother-fetus interaction behavior-such as listen to the music, reading a book, talk to fetus, stroke the fetus- with being altered traditional beliefs toward Taegyo or Taemong. Most of pregnant women had Taemong and believed a it's predictive functions. Beliefs toward mother-fetus interaction were classified to 6 factors, pregnancy, Taemong. fetus, practice behavior, infant's abilities and mother-fetus interaction behavior. The scores of belief toward mother-fetus interaction and each factors of pregnancy, fetus, practice behavior, infant's ability were statistically significant different depending upon husbands education. Also pregnancy factor in belief toward mother-fetus interaction was statistically significant different depending upon the number of children, child birth, experience of abortion, premature birth. Conclusion: Developing Taegyo oriented program enhancing the mother-fetus interaction need to include the elements of being facilitated maternal identity formation and maternal confidence for the pregnant women. In addition, it should be developed the program concerning with the characteristics of the pregnant women.

Taiwanese Mothers' Motivations for Teaching English to Their Young Children at Home

  • Research has shown that mothers' attitudes towards early English language and literacy learning are important for children's English language development. Some researchers have indicated that in Taiwan most parents have a positive attitude towards English instruction and are motivated to teach English at home to their preschoolers. There is, however, little current data available to explain the motivations behind such parents' decisions to teach English to their child in the home before the commencement of formal schooling. We conducted a thematic analysis of the written survey responses of 263 Taiwanese mothers who explained why they taught their preschool children English at home. The findings indicate that English is highly valued for children's school readiness, future career opportunities, and because of its status as a global language. The mothers' motivations for teaching English include the desire to cultivate the child's interest, a belief in 'the earlier the better" for second language learning, and a belief in the need to review and practice English. These findings have the potential to inform educational policies and implementation strategies, as they can reveal whether mothers' motivations align with national priorities for English language education.

영아보육교사의 교수효능감과 직무스트레스에 관한 연구 (The Relationship between Child-Care Teachers' Job Stress and Belief of Teaching Efficacy)

  • 본 연구는 영아보육교사의 내적 교육신념인 교수효능감과 직무스트레스에 대해서 알아보고 영아보육교사의 교수효능감과 직무스트레스의 상관관계 및 교수효능감이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향력은 어떠한지 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 경기지역 국공립, 민간, 가정 보육시설에서 근무하고 있는 36개월 미만의 영아반 교사를 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다. 결과처리를 위하여 ANOVA분석, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 수행하였다. 연구결과로 첫째, 영아보육교사의 교수효능감은 보통보다 높게 나타났으며 일반적 교수효능감이 개인적 교수효능감보다 높게 나타나 전반적으로 영아보육교사 자신의 교수효능감을 높게 인식하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 영아보육교사의 직무스트레스는 보통보다 낮게 나타났다. 하위 영역별로 보면 업무관련 스트레스가 가장 높았으며 다음으로 영아들과의 활동 스트레스, 개인관련 스트레스 순으로 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 교수효능감과 직무스트레스간의 관계는 부적 상관관계를 보였다. 교수효능감의 하위 요인 중에서 일반적 교수효능감은 직무스트레스와 상관성이 없는 것으로 나타났으며, 개인적 교수효능감 만이 유의미한 부적상관을 보였다. 영아보육교사의 교수효능감이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향력은 개인적 교수효능감 만이 직무스트레스에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 개인적 교수효능감이 높을수록 직무스트레스는 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 일반적 특성 중에서는 교육수준, 월 급여, 근무시간이 직무스트레스에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 교육수준이 높을수록, 월 급여가 적을수록, 근무시간이 많을수록 영아보육교사의 직무스트레스는 높아진다는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 영아보육교사의 교수효능감을 향상시키고 직무스트레스를 감소시키는 방안을 제시하였다.

누가 행복한 직장인인가?: 인구통계적·심리분석적 요인과 행복수준 간의 관계 (Who is Happy at Work?: The Relationship between Demographic·Psychographic Factors and Happiness Level)

  • 본 연구의 주된 목적은 누가 행복한 직장인인지를 파악하는 것이었다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 성별, 연령대, 결혼여부, 자녀수, 종교, 학력, 직급, 직업, 소득 등과 같은 인구통계적 요인, 외향성, 신경증적 예민함, 긍정신념과 같은 심리분석적 요인 그리고 행복 수준으로 구성된 이론모형을 제안하였고 분석하였다. 주요 분석 결과는 첫째, 인구통계적 요인과 심리분석적 요인 모두 직장인의 행복 수준에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 둘째, 자녀수, 신경증적 예민함, 긍정신념은 직장인의 행복을 예측하는 주요 요인인 것으로 확인되었다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 직장인의 행복 수준을 증진시킬 수 있는 요인들을 실증했다는 점에서 시사점이 있다.

유아교육과정에 대한 교사와 학생의 신념체계분석 - Q방법론적 접근 - (Teacher and Student Belief Systems about The Kindergarten Curriculum: A Q-approach)

  • This study identified and explained the prototypes of belief systems about the kindergarten curriculum with the use of Stephenson's Q-methodology. The sample consisted of 15 preschool teachers and 15 college students majoring in early childhood education. A Q-deck composed of 48 cards was developed by the researchers and sorted by the subjects. The obtained Q-sort scores were analyzed by factor analysis. The findings revealed that the subjects were divided into 3 types: "the practical-disciplinary type" consisting of mostly of teachers, "the theoretical-openness type" consisting mostly of students, and "the compromising type" consisting of some teachers and some students.

「발달에 적합한 실제」에 대한 유아교사의 신념과 창의적 역할과의 관계에 관한 연구 (The Relationship Between Teacher's Beliefs Regarding Developmentally Appropriate Practice and Their Creative Roles)

  • This study explored the feasibility of various applications of Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) by examining the relationship between teachers' belief in DAP and their creative roles. Subjects were 203 teachers of public, private, national, and corporate day care centers in Pusan. Data analysis was by ANOVA. Results showed that with the exception of fluency, teacher's degree of belief in DAP correlated with differences in all the sub-categories of creative roles, including indulgence and perseverance, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Conclusions were that teachers could enhance their creative roles through inclusion of DAP in teacher education.

성폭력 경험이 청소년기 여학생의 우울에 미치는 영향과 왜곡된 성통념의 매개효과 (Impact of the Experience of Sexual Abuse on Depression in Female Adolescents and Mediation Effect of Distorted Sex-Related Belief)

  • The purpose of this research was to clarify the impact of sexual abuse experienced by female adolescents on depression and to examine mediation effects of distorted beliefs related to sex. Self-report questionnaires were distributed to middle and high school female students in Seouland Gyonggi Areas. The549responseswereanalyzedbyregressionanalysis. Results indicated that 22.2% of the respondents had experienced sexual abuse; the experience of sexual abuse had a significant effect on distorted sex-related belief, but not on depression. Distorted sex-related beliefs, however, mediated between the experience of sexual abuse and depression. This study suggests the necessity for intervention and practical methods for the prevention of adolescent sexual abuse.

총체적 언어 접근에 대한 한국과 미국의 유아교사의 신념에 대한 비교 연구 (The Study of Comparision of Teachers' Beliefs Related to Whole Language Approach Between Korea and U.S.A.)

  • This study was designed to investigate the teacher belief related to children literacy between Korea and U.S.A. using the quantitative research. The instrument for this study was constructed with 35 Likert-scaled questions in a survey questionnaire. Additionally, this study found that there existed significant difference with 20 questions between Korea and U.S.A. based on teacher's belief related to children's literacy and relationship between teachers who learns the whole language and the scores of teacher beliefs about literacy in the research. Seventy-six teachers who work at early childhood settings in State College, Bellefonte, Pleasant Gap, and Lemont in Central Pennsylvania participated in U.S.A. and ninety-one teachers who work at early childhood setting in Seoul and Pusan in Korea participated in this survey. This research has provided a framework for investigating the teacher beliefs about teaching literacy in order to discover the whole language effect on the system of teacher beliefs. This study focused on teacher beliefs towards the whole language approach between Korea and U.S.A.
