  • In this study, gel powder which had relatively high hydration reactivity in CaO and P2O5 rich composition of CaO-P2O5-SiO2-H2O system was prepared by sol-gel process and its hydrated specimen was manufactured. The it was investigated to appropriate calcination temperature in sol-gel process which hydrated specimen of gel powder have proven to strength and the effect of factors influenced strength in hydration process. The major product of before and after hydration reaction was hydroxyapatite, and crystalline phase of C-S-H was already formed during gelation process. After hydration reaction of pressed specimen, crystalline phase of C-S-P-H was formed. It was hydrated product of silicocarnotite (5CaO.P2O5.SiO2). Gel phases of C-S-H and C-S-P-H occured as a result of partial substitution of amorphous silica by P2O5 was formed. The strength of hydrated hardened body is developed by strong bonding and bridging between the gel phases of C-S-H or C-S-P-H and the crystalline products such as hydroxyapatite, Ca(OH)2 C-S-H and C-S-P-H. In addition, the ultrafine gel powder have an great effect on increase of hydration reaction.

  • The objective of this study was to analyze the effects on the growth of Sedum species by different soil in shallow green roof module system, and to find the best soil mixture. The experiment used a module system, 7cm soil depth, five types of soil mixture ratio, and it was carried out on 7th Hoar rooftop in December of 2010. The growth status of the plant showed the most superior of the P5C7P2V1, next P10C1P2V1 and P1P1V1, P1 and C1 showed very poor growth. This result showed that the soil mixture ratio (P5C7P2V1) in green roof module system with minimum management can contribute to the proliferation of rooftop greening in urban settings.

  • Effects of temperature and pH on thermal degradation of monosodium glutamate(MSG) were investigated during heating of 2% MSG solution at $100{\sim}200^{\circ}C\;and\;pH\;4{\sim}9$. The results showed that the degradation of MSG was very significantly affected by heating temperature and pH. Three hours of heating at $pH\;4\;and\;120^{\circ}C$ resulted appr. 73% MSG degradation while 3 hours at $100^{\circ}C$ decreased only 12%. The comparison study of initial rate of MSG degradation and degradation rate constants showed the highest degradation rate and rate constant and low values in the range of $pH\;6{\sim}8{\sim}$. The values of activation energy calculated from linear relationship of rate constants and 1/T were 18.3 and 9.2 kcal/mole for pH 4 and 5, respectively.

  • In this paper, retention characteristics of lateral charge migration according to parameters of 3D NAND flash memory to which ferroelectric (HfO2) structure is applied and ∆Vth were analyzed. The larger the Ps, the greater maximum polarization possible in ferroelectric during Programming. Therefore, the initial Vth increases by about 1.04V difference at Ps 70µC/cm2 than at Ps 25µC/cm2. Also, electrons trapped after the Program operation causes lateral charge migration over time. Since ferroelectric maintains polarization without applying voltage to the gate after Programming, regardless of Ps value, polarization increases as Pr increases and the ∆Vth due to lateral charge migration becomes smaller by about 1.54V difference at Pr 50µC/cm2 than Pr 5µC/cm2.

  • This study was carried out to evaluate the effect of pH and storage temperature on the viability of boar sperm diluted with extender KpA for swine artificial insemination. The results obtained in this experiment were summarized as follows : 1. The viability of boar sperm diluted with KpA was higher than that with BTS during storage and especially more than 60% of sperm viability in KpA was maintained through 6 days. The pH values of all extenders were kept during storage of semens following dilution. 2. The sperm diluted with acidic (pH 6.3~6.8) or alkalic (pH 7.8~8.0) KpA and stored at 4$^{\circ}C$ or 37$^{\circ}C$ were more sensitive in viability than that with neutral pH (6.8~7.3) and at 17$^{\circ}C$ storage. But pH values of all conditions were not increased rapidly. Especially acidic and alkalic diluents were more stable in pH after dilution. Conclusively, extender pH and storage temperature was the important factors for sperm viability. The KpA setting up around neutral pH was the optimal boar semen extender for maintaining liquid semen at 17$^{\circ}C$.

  • This research measures the conditions of spinal scoliosis of college students and analyses the factors that affect spinal scoliosis. From September 15, 2008 to October 30, 2008, the study was conducted with 142 C College students and measured the degrees of spinal scoliosis. The analysis was evaluated according to the Pneumex Analysis program. The collected data was compiled into statistics using the SPSS PC+ 12.0 program. The results were as follows: 1. It appeared that in the cases of C curve, reverse C curve, S curve, and the normal, there was a statistical significance(p=.010) between the conditions of spinal scoliosis of the two genders. 2. It appeared that the comparison among the three groups according to the characteristics of the subjects showed a statistical significance in spinal length(p=.000) in the C curve group, age(p=.019) and spinal length(p=.004) in the reverse C curve group, and spinal length (p=.035), difference in apparent leg length(p=.019), and difference in true leg length(p=.012) in the S curve group. 3. It appeared that in the normal group without spinal scoliosis, the results of comparing the differences in apparent true leg length and spinal length according to the characteristics of the subjects showed a statistical significance in spinal length and gender(p=.000), age (p=.008), height(p=.000), and whether or not there was a regular exercise over once per week(p=.001). 4. On the correlations between C curve, reverse C curve, and S curve and differences in apparent true leg length and spinal length, it appeared that: (a) As the difference in apparent leg length gets bigger the difference in true leg length gets big in C curve(r=.551, p=.000). (b) As the difference in apparent leg length gets bigger the difference in true leg length gets big in reverse C curve(r=.511, p=.006). (c) There is no correlation in S curve.

  • A plasmid pTTY2, containing the lipase-producing gene, was used to transform an E. coli phage lysogen, P90c/$\phi$434, into the lipase-producing lysogen, P90c/$\phi$434/pTTY2. After the overproduction of lipase by the isopropylthio-${\beta}$-D-galactoside induction, the prophage $\phi$434 in the chromosome of the host cell was induced by the milomycin C addition or ultraviolet irradiation to lyse the host cell. The optimum operating conditions, such as the isopropylthio-${\beta}$-D-galactoside induction period and the phage induction timing, were sought for the efficient cell lysis in the same fermenter. Effective cell lysis occurred at the earlier exponential growth phase with the isopropylthio-${\beta}$-D-galactoside induction period of 1 hour. The amount of the lipase production was qualitatively measured by the halo size in Luria-Bertani agar medium containing tributyrin and Rhodamine B plate.

  • In this paper, we prove that if $f^nf'\;-\;P$ and $g^ng'\;-\;P$ share 0 CM, where f and g are two distinct transcendental meromorphic functions, $n\;{\geq}\;11$ is a positive integer, and P is a nonzero polynomial such that its degree ${\gamma}p\;{\leq}\;11$, then either $f\;=\;c_1e^{cQ}$ and $g\;=\;c_2e^{-cQ}$, where $c_1$, $c_2$ and c are three nonzero complex numbers satisfying $(c_1c_2)^{n+1}c^2\;=\;-1$, Q is a polynomial such that $Q\;=\;\int_o^z\;P(\eta)d{\eta}$, or f = tg for a complex number t such that $t^{n+1}\;=\;1$. • The effect of fermentation temperature on the changes of pH, acidity, salt content, color and vitamin C of mustard leaf kimchi during various storage days was investigated. The conditions of fermentation temperature were set at $4^{\circ}C$ (sample A) and $20^{\circ}C$ (sample B), and $4^{\circ}C$ after keeping at $20^{\circ}C$ for 12 hours(sample C) and $20^{\circ}C$ for 36 hours(sample D). As the fermentation proceeded, pH of sample stored at low temperature(sample A) was drop ped gradually from initial pH of 5.24 but there was great pH drop in the sample stored at high temperature(sample B, D). The salt content of the sample B at high temperature increased remarkably, and then the values showed D > A > C. The Humter values of L and a increased at the optimum ripening period, the higher the initial fermentation temperature(B) and the later the initial fermentation time at $20^{\circ}C$ those values, then decreased. The Hunter value of b constantly increased until day of 108. As fermentation time passed, the content of total vitamin C decreased to the range of 9.0mg% to 14.0mg% up to 24 days of fermentation, and at the optimum ripening period, it increased to the range of 14.0mg% to 22.0mg%, and at the fermentation period(until day 108), it decreased gradually.
