벤처기업의 성장은 기술 수준의 향상, 산업 구조의 고도화, 신규 고용 창출 등 중요한 경제적 의미를 지니고 있다. 이러한 취지에서 최근 벤처 기업 육성을 위한 각종 정책적 제도적 지원을 하고 있다. 그러나 현재까지 벤처기업만의 독특한 경영 특성 내지 경영 성과를 고려한 보다 적극적인 연구가 부족하였다. 특히 경영자 부문에 대한 연구는 벤처기업 성공의 중요한 요인 중의 하나이기 때문에 간과할 수 없다. 본 연구는 벤처 기업의 어떠한 경영자 특성이 경영 성과와 관련이 있는 가를 분석하고자 한다. 벤처기업의 다양한 경영자 특성을 검토하고, 이들 요인이 벤처기업 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 규명하는 가운데, 개별 기업 조직의 일반적 특성을 고려하고자 한다. 벤처기업의 경영성과와 관련된 경영자 특성 요인에 관하여 선행의 이론적 내지 경험적 연구들을 종합적으로 검토하여 연구가설을 설정하고 그 결과를 실증 분석 중심으로 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 벤처 기업 조직의 규모, 업종, 성장 단계 등에 따라 벤처 기업의 경영성과 및 경영자의 행태적 특성에 부분적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 벤처기업 경영자의 학력, 기업가 경험, 창업 경험, 관련 산업에서의 근무 경험 등에 따라서 벤처 기업의 경영성과는 차이가 나타나지 않지만, 경영자의 행태적 특성에는 부분적으로 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 벤처기업 조직의 일반적 특성 및 경영자의 인구통계학적 특성에 따라서 벤처기업 경영자의 행태적 특성과 경영성과는 부분적으로 유의한 상관관계가 나타났다. 이러한 연구는 벤처기업에 대한 연구가 부족한 우리나라의 실정에서 벤처 기업의 성과에 영향을 주는 기업 조직의 일반적 특성과 경영자의 다양한 특성 요인을 다차원적으로 파악하였다는 데 그 의의가 있다고 할 것이다.

본 연구는 한국노동패널 8차(2005년)~13차(2011년) 자료를 이용하여 (1)연도별 창업편의성 및 창업성과(창업만족도, 창업소득)를 파악하고, (2)창업편의성 세부요소별 추세분석 및 업종별 창업편의성 분석을 실시함으로써, 국내 창업의 실제 현황과 추세를 도출하였다. 아울러 (3) 인구학적 특성뿐만 아니라 인적자본, 사업체, 경제적, 상황적(제도적) 특성 등을 포함하여, 각 요인들이 창업성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 종합적으로 분석함으로써 창업성공의 핵심요인을 도출하였다. 분석결과, 2005년 기준(시작 년도)으로 연도별 창업만족도 및 창업소득은 점진적으로 향상하고 있으나, 창업편의성은 지속적으로 하락하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 업종에 따라 창업편의성은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로 창업성과(창업소득, 창업 만족도)에 영향을 미치는 요인은 인구학적 특성뿐만 아니라 인적자본, 사업체, 경제적, 상황적 특성 등으로 복합적으로 나타났다.

본 연구에서는 동물병원 창업을 중심으로 국내 기존 펫(pet) 창업자의 특성이 창업성공에 미치는 영향을 평가해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 동물병원 창업자의 배경적 특성과 심리적 특성, 그리고 창업준비과정 특성, 동물병원 서비스요인 특성들이 창업성공 요인, 즉 창업성과에 미치는 영향을 재무적 성과 및 비재무적 성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 서울 경기 지역 동물병원 150곳에 대하여 설문을 통한 조사연구를 수행하였으며 다음과 같은 주요 결과를 도출하였다. 우선, 창업성과 요인 중 재무적 성과에 대한 연구모형의 분석 결과, 창업자의 배경특성변인 중 학력 요인은 동물병원의 재무적 성과에 부정적인 영향력을 미치며, 창업자의 심리특성 중 통제위치 요인이, 창업준비과정 변인 중에서는 자금조달 요인이 전체적인 재무적 성과에 긍정적인 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 창업성과 요인 중 비재무적 성과에 대한 연구모형의 분석 결과, 창업자의 창업준비과정 변인 중 위험감수성향, 서비스품질 중 무형서비스품질이 비재무적 성과에 긍정적인 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Purpose - The study sought to examine the relationship between individual characteristics and system features and Human Resource Information System (HRIS) success in Japanese manufacturing companies in Malaysia. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - This study adopt quantitative approach to investigate the relationship between individual characteristics and system features and HRIS. Toward this objective, a total of 700 questionnaires were mailed to a representative of the organization. A total of 187 questionnaires were returned, and only 145 were usable for further analysis, representing a response rate of 20.71%. Result - Results indicated that individual characteristics and two dimensions of system characteristics (ease of use and training) were significantly related to HRIS success. Unexpectedly, the results showed that the third dimension of system features (documentation) was unrelated to HRIS success. Conclusions - The results partially support the underlying arguments that individual characteristics and system characteristics have significant influences on HRIS success. The finding suggests that HRIS success in the organization can be generated as a result of good implementation of system support and employees' readiness to apply HRIS in their jobs.

본 연구에서는 국가경제와 일자리 창출에 중요한 역할을 수행하고 있는 벤처기업의 생존 및 발전에 시사점을 제시하고자 벤처기업 창업가의 특성과 경영성과와의 관계에 경영전략을 매개변수로 하여 실증분석을 하였다. 기존의 국내 선행연구들이 창업가의 특성과 경영전략을 경영성과에 대한 동일한 단일차원의 함수관계로 분석하는데서 벗어나서, 창업가의 특성을 독립변수로, 기업차원의 경영전략을 매개변수로 하여 다차원적인 관점에서 기업의 경영성과를 설명하려고 하였다. 분석결과는 첫째, 벤처 창업가의 특성은 경영성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 창업가의 특성 중에서도 진취성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향력이 가장 큰 변수로 확인되었다. 반면, 위험감수성은 그 영향력이 상대적으로 매우 미미한 수준으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 벤처 창업가의 특성은 경영전략에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 창업가 특성 중에서 혁신성은 기술혁신 차별화 전략에, 진취성은 마케팅 차별화 전략에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 중요한 변수로 분석되었다. 셋째, 벤처기업의 경영전략은 경영성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 경영전략 중에서도 기술혁신 차별화 전략이 마케팅 차별화 전략에 비해 경영성과에 미치는 영향력이 큰 것으로 분석되었다. 넷째, 벤처 창업가의 특성과 경영성과와의 관계에서 경영전략은 부분 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 창업가의 특성은 경영성과에 직접적인 영향을 미치기도 하지만 경영전략과 매개되어 경영성과에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이런 연구결과는 벤처기업 창업가의 개인적인 특성과 기업차원의 경영전략이 연계되었을 때 더 극대화된 경영성과를 이룰 수 있다는 것을 시사해준다.

As the CEO`s of game companies should be ready for the rapid change of technical environment of game industry, highly skilled employees and the social capital become very important factors in doing game business. 2013 Korea Game White Paper shows that many game companies prefer employees with job experience. The social capital and network help game companies get industrial information easily. This study empirically examines the relationship among CEO`s related business experience, corporate performance and social capital based on 134 Korean game companies. CEO`s characteristics are measured by using demographic characteristics including age, amount of education, and prior job experience and psychological characteristics, but this study focuses on related business experience. The results of this study show some significant relationship between the related business experience of CEO and nonfinancial performance of the firm. Secondly, this study verifies the moderating effect of the social capital between the related business experience of CEO and non-financial performance of the firm. The results of the moderating effect of the social capital show that social capital increases the non-financial performance.

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the organizational characteristic and workers characteristics of Family Business Organization on its Business Performance. The subjects of this study were workers of healthy family support centers and multicultural family support centers. A survey was conducted from July 30th to September 30th. A total 372 materials were used for analysis of final data and SPSS(Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) WIN 18.0 program was employed in analyzing the collected data. As the result of analysing the effect of organizational characteristics and culture and characteristics of workers on business performance through hierarchical regression analysis, higher performance was achieved when the agency's organizational culture has the characteristics of a developed culture, and when the operating body is a school principal corporation rather than a non-profit corporation, and in the city rather than farming town, having enough information and external resources at the center, and when the job satisfaction of workers are high, and when organizational culture is more hierarchical. There were difference in the result of analysing the effect of organizational characteristic and culture and characteristic of workers on business performance. The level of service and business value of Family Service Organization was higher when the agency's organizational culture has the characteristics of a developed culture, hierarchical culture and agreement culture, and when operating body is a school principal corporation rather than a non-profit corporation, having enough information and external resources at the center, and the administrative skills of workers are higher. Business volume is increased when the operating body is a school principal corporation rather than a non-profit corporation, and in the city rather than farming town, and when the agency's organizational culture has the characteristics of hierarchical culture and agreement culture, having enough external resources at the center, and the practicing ability of workers are higher. When it comes to business efficiency, it is increased when the agency's organizational culture has the characteristics of developed culture and the job satisfaction of workers are high, having enough external and financial resources at the center. Therefore we will need to enhance business performance through improved management and job satisfaction of employees in organizational culture.

목적: 안경원을 운영하는데 있어 경영전략, 정보관리, 마케팅, 운영관리, 자금관리 등의 경영관리 특성이 안경원의 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 알아보고 각 요인 중 중요요인과 경영관리 특성에 따른 비교분석을 통해 안경원 관리 및 운영에 필요한 정보를 제공하고자 한다. 방법: 2011년 8월부터 10월까지 약 2개월 동안 안경원 관리자(경영자 포함)를 대상으로 설문지를 배포하여 SPSS v 14.0 통계 패키지 프로그램을 활용하여 분석하였다. 결과: 안경원의 경영관리 특성에 따라 재무성과 및 만족성과가 다르게 나타났으며 특히 안경원의 재무성과 향상에는 경영전략, 마케팅 특성이, 만족성과 향상에는 경영전략, 마케팅, 운영관리 특성이 가장 중요한 요인으로 나타났다. 결론: 이 결과에 따르면 안경원 경영성과 향상을 위해서는 경영관리 특성 중 하위요인 중 경영전략, 마케팅 특성을 특히 고취시키기 위해 노력해야 할 것이다.

This paper proposes an evaluation model for internet shopping mall business by defining its characteristics and evaluation criteria. We analyzed the characteristics of internet shopping mall business environments and classified the business into four major categories. We derived the evaluation criteria which can evaluated all categories comprehensively. The proposed criteria are cost, netizen, technology, transaction, and marketing, each of which gives a significant impact on the business profitability. Based on these criteria, a quantitative evaluation method was developed. We also proposed a penta-classification scheme which can be used to identify the overall characteristics shape of each internet shopping mall business site. An actual application of our evaluation model was illustrated in order to show that our proposed model may be used in the real business sites.

The Purpose of this study is to analyze characteristic and satisfaction businessman's opinions about Housing Rental Business. It is also aimed to suggest profitability of Housing Rental Business by understanding current situations of Housing Rental Business. This study used focus group interview(FGI) to describe the experiences and opinions about Housing Rental Business. Questionary elements include 5 themes: 1) businessman's characteristics 2) rental housing's characteristics 3) business's operating situation 4) satisfaction 5) estimate. The analysis method of this study is quality analysis. This result might be helpful provide informations for the future Housing Rental Business.
