모델 기준 슬라이딩 모드 제어기의 기준 모델 설계 (Design of reference model for model reference sliding model control)

  • 모델 기준 제어(MRC)는 플랜트가 주어진 기준 모델의 거동을 추종하도록 플랜트를 제어하는 제어 기법이다. 기준 모델은 플랜트가 추종할 이상적인 궤적을 제공한다. 지금까지 많은 종류의 MRC가 제안되었지만, 본 논문에서는 모델 기준 슬라이딩 모드 제어(MRSMC)에 대해 제어 대상 플랜트가 불확실성을 갖는 단일 입출력 2차 시변 선형 시스템인 경우에 대해 연구를 수행하였다. 본 논문에서 MRSMC를 위한 기준 모델의 설계 방법이 제안하였다. 제안된 방법은 제한된 제어 입력, 기준 입력, 시스템 파라미터에 대한 정보를 사용하여 기준 모델을 선정한다. 이러한 선정 결과는 고정된 기준 모델의 선정, 계단 입력 인가시의 가변 기준 모델 갱신, 매 샘플링 시간마다 순간 기준 모델의 갱신 등으로 이용할 수 있다. 모터의 위치 제어 시스템에 대한 시뮬레이션 결과는 제안된 방법의 효용성을 보여준다.

  • In this paper, we propose sliding mode congestion controller for differentiated-services network. Two important issue in differentiated-services architecture are bandwidth guarantee and fair sharing of unsubscribed bandwidth among TCP flows with and without bandwidth reservation. We use tight upper and lower bounds for various settings of differentiated-services parameters using the loss-bounded model. The Sliding mode congestion controller scheme is designed using nonlinear control theory based on a nonlinear model of the network that is generated using fluid flow consideration. The methodology used is general and independent of technology, as for example TCP/IP or ATM. The sliding mode congestion controller methodology has been applied to an TCP network. We use NS-2 simulation to demonstrate that the proposed control methodology achieves the desired behavior of the network, and possesses important attributes. as e.g, stable and robust behavior, high utilization with bounded delay and loss, together with good steady-state and transient behavior.

  • A method for obtaining smooth, jerk bounded feed rate profile in high speed machining has been developed. This study proposes a NURBS interpolator based on adaptive feed rate control with a well developed look ahead algorithm which takes into account the machining dynamics as well. Limitation of jerk and proportional torque rate result in smoothened loads on the machine which effectively reduces excitation of the resonant frequencies of the machine. It is found that the values of the feed rate of the down stream sharp corner have profound effect on the feed rate of the upstream sharp corners. By using a windowing scheme the feed rate profile obtained after look ahead method is re-interpolated to reduce the jerk related problems. This is compared with the adaptive NURBS interpolator to show the effectiveness of the proposed method. Simulation results indicate that the consideration of 'ripple effect' is important in avoiding jerk and thereby increasing the machining accuracy.

불확실 일반 선형 시스템의 레귤레이션 제어를 위한 사전 제어 성능을 갖는 개선된 연속 적분 가변구조 시스템 (An Improved Continuous Integral Variable Structure Systems with Prescribed Control Performance for Regulation Controls of Uncertain General Linear Systems)

  • In this paper, an improved continuous integral variable structure systems(ICIVSS) with the prescribed control performance is designed for simple regulation controls of uncertain general linear systems. An integral sliding surface with an integral state having a special initial condition is adopted for removing the reaching phase and predetermining the ideal sliding trajectory from a given initial state to the origin in the state space. The ideal sliding dynamics of the integral sliding surface is analytically obtained and the solution of the ideal sliding dynamics can predetermine the ideal sliding trajectory(integral sliding surface) from the given initial state to the origin. Provided that the value of the integral sliding surface is bounded by certain value by means of the continuous input, the norm of the state error to the ideal sliding trajectory is analyzed and obtained in Theorem 1. A corresponding discontinuous control input with the exponential stability is proposed to generate the perfect sliding mode on the every point of the pre-selected sliding surface. For practical applications, the discontinuity of the VSS control input is approximated to be continuous based on the proposed modified fixed boundary layer method. The bounded stability by the continuous input is investigated in Theorem 3. With combining the results of Theorem 1 and Theorem 3, as the prescribed control performance, the pre specification on the error to the ideal sliding trajectory is possible by means of the boundary layer continuous input with the integral sliding surface. The suggested algorithm with the continuous input can provide the effective method to increase the control accuracy within the boundary layer by means of the increase of the $G_1$ gain. Through an illustrative design example and simulation study, the usefulness of the main results is verified.

  • This paper considers the design and analysis of one-step ahead optimal and adaptive controllers, under the restriction that a known constraint on the input amplitude is imposed. It is assumed that the discrete-time single-input, single-output system to be controlled is linear, except for inequality constraints on the input. The objective function to be minimized is an one-step quadratic function, where polynomial weights on the input and output are included. Both the known parameter and unknown parameter (indirect adaptive controller) cases are examined.

  • In the control system $ \dot{x} = f(t,x(t)) + g(t,x(t))\dot{u}, x(0) = \bar{x}, t \in [0,T], $ this paper shows that the map from u with $L^1(m)$-topology to $x_u$ with $L^1(\mu)$-topology is Lipschitz continuous where f is $C^1$, $\mu$ is the Stieltjes measure derived from the function g which is not smooth in the variable t and $x_u$ is the solution of the above system corresponding to u under the assumption that $\dot{u}$ is bounded.

Robust Stability and Disturbance Attenuation for a Class of Uncertain Singularly Perturbed Systems

  • This paper considers the problem of robust stabilization and disturbance attenuation for a class of uncertain singularly perturbed systems with norm-bounded nonlinear uncertainties. It is shown that the state feedback gain matrices can be determined to guarantee the stability of the closed-loop system for all $\varepsilon$$\in$(0, $\infty$). Based on this key result and some standard Riccati inequality approaches for robust control of singularly perturbed systems, a constructive design procedure is developed.

  • In the physical system, if we can precisely control an acceleration and force, we can improve the performance of their integral values, velocity and position. From this point of view, in this paper we try to use an obverser which is constructed by using Variable Structure System for estimating the acceleration in the system with the bounded unknown disturbance and the parameter mismatching. To obtain the robust control performance, the VSS with sliding mode is adopted in the design of the servo controller.

  • This paper presents a decentralized model reference adaptive control scheme for an interconnected continuous linear system composed of a number of single-input single-output subsystems in which outgoing interactions pass through the measurement channel and are subject to bounded external disturbance. The scheme can treat the unknown strength of interactions as well as the uncertainty of subsystems.

  • Reaching fault tolerance in technological systems requires to detect malfunctions. This paper presents a diagnostic method that is robust with respect to unknown-but-bounded uncertainties of the dynamical model and the measurements. By using models of the faultless and the faulty behaviours, a state-set observer computes polyhedral sets from which the consistency of the models with the interval measurements is determined. The diagnostic result is proven to be complete, i.e., the set of faults obtained by the diagnostic algorithm includes the actual fault. The algorithm is illustrated by an application example.
