일방성 해쉬함수는 임의 길이의 입력메세지를 일정한 길이의 출력메세지로 축약하는 함수로서, 디지탈서명에서 서명을 생성하는 시간을 단축하고 메세지 인증을 위한 암호학적 도구로 사용되고있다. 본 논문에서는 부울함수를 기초로 하는 해쉬함수 중에서 MD5의 부울함수를 정보이론의 관점에서 분석하여 암호학적으로 강하고 기존의 MD5에서 사용된 부울함수의 성질을 이용한 공격을 막을 수 있는 새로운 부울함수를 제안한다.

This paper presents a new output phase assignment algorithm which determines the phases of all the nodes in a given boolean network. An estimation function is defined, which is represented by the relation between the literals in the given function expression. A weight function, WT (fi, fj) is defined, which is represented by approximate amount of common subexpression between function fi and fj. Common Subexpression Graph(CSG) is generated for phase selection by the weight function between all given functions. We propose a heuristic algorithm finding subgraph of which sum of weights has maximum by assigning phases into the given functions. The experiments with MCNC benchmarks show the efficiency of the proposed method.

In this study we described Binary-Decision Method Programmable Controller that is faster than conventional Programmable Controller (P.C) using the Boolean method. An algorithm for the optimal BD program was systematically developed by using the incomplete multiple output function and the residual characteristic function. The potential applications of BD programmable controller for the problems of industrial control were illustrated, which include on-off sequential control function and also the tasks involving continuous data processing and PID control. An example was presented that has shown how BD programmable controller and ICU (Industrial Control Unit) controller can be applied to the sequential logics.

Linear combination of weighted order statistic(LWOS) filters, which is an extension of stack filters, can represent any Boolean function(BF) or its extension. Which is called the extended BF(EBF). In this paper, we present a procedure for finding an LWOS filter of the simplest type from LWOS filters which are equivalent to a given BF or EBF. In addition, a property that is useful for implementing an LWOS filter is derived and an algorithm for LWOS filtering is presented.

The cyryptographic strength of a Feistel cipher depends strongly on the properties of its S-boxes, which are the strict avalanche criterion(SAC), the propagation criterion(PC) and GAC(the global avalanche criterion). In this paper global avalanche characteristics of S-boxes of the SEED are in-vestigated and compared to global avalanche characteristics of S-boxes of S-boxes of the Data Encryption Standard(DES).

In this paper we modify two indicators related to the global avalanche criterion (GAC) and discuss their properties. Also, we apply the modified indicators to measure the GAC of S-boxes of DES.

In this paper, to develop a smart CAD/CAM system for systematically performing from the 3-D solid shape design of products to the CNC cutting operation of products by a machining center, a B-Rep solid modeler is realized based on the half edge data structure. Because the B-Rep solid modeler has the various capabilities related to the solid definition functions such as the creation operation of primitives and the translational and rotational sweep operation, the solid manipulation functions such as the split operation and the Boolean set operation, and the solid inversion function for effectively using the data structure, the 3-D solid shape of products can be easily designed and constructed. Also, besides the automatic generation of CNC code, the B-Rep solid modeler can be used as a powerful tool for realizing the automatic generation of finite elements, the interference check between solids, the structural design of machine tools and robots and so on.

본 논문에서는 부울 함수 간략화에 사용되는 Karnaugh Map 기법 학습을 위한 지능형 튜토링을 지원하는 GBL(Game based learning) 콘텐츠를 제안한다. 이 GBL 콘텐츠는 게임 기반 학습과 지능형 튜토링 시스템이 가지고 있는 장점을 결합하여 게임 요소를 통하여 학습자의 흥미를 이끌어 학습에 몰입할 수 있도록 하고, 지능형 튜토링 모듈을 통하여 몰입감을 해치지 않는 수준에서 적응적 피드백을 제공한다. 본 콘텐츠의 학습 효과를 검증하기 위해 실제 학습 환경에서 실험 집단과 통제 집단의 학업성취도를 비교한 결과 유의미한 차이를 확인할 수 있었다.

Invertible transformations over n-bit words are essential ingredients in many cryptographic constructions. When n is large such invertible transformations are usually represented as a composition of simpler operations such as linear functions, S-P networks, Feistel structures and T-functions. Among them we study T-functions which are probably invertible transformations and are very useful in stream ciphers. In this paper we study the number of single cycle T-functions satisfying some conditions and characterize single cycle T-functions on $(\mathbb{Z}_2)^n$ generated by some elements in $(\mathbb{Z}_2)^{n-1}$.

In this paper, we present an efficient test algorithm for data processing function of MC68000 \ulcorner. The test vector for functional testing is determined by stuck-at, coupling and transition fault for data storage and transfer. But for data manipulation it is determined by a boolean function of micro-operation. This test algorithm is composed of 3 parts, choosing optimum test instructions for maximizing fault coverage and minimizing test process time, deciding the test order for minimizing test ambiguity, and processing the actual test.
