웨이퍼 레벨 패키지를 적용한 저가격 고성능 FBAR 듀플렉서 모듈 (Cost-effective and High-performance FBAR Duplexer Module with Wafer Level Packaging)

  • 본 논문에서는 US-PCS(US-personal communications services)를 위해 사용이 가능한 저가격 고성능 FBAR (film bulk acoustic resonator) 듀플렉서(duplexer) 모듈(module)을 제시하였다. FBAR 소자는 일반적인 실리콘(Si) 기반의 공정보다 가격경쟁력이 우수한 유리(glass) 웨이퍼 기반의 패키지를 개발하여 적용하였다. FBAR 듀플렉서 모듈의 전송단(Tx)과 수신단(Rx)에서 얻어진 최대 삽입손실 특성은 각각 1.9 dB와 2.4 dB이다. 전송단 및 수신단 FBAR 소자와 본딩(bonding)된 유리 기반의 웨이퍼 및 PCB 기판과 몰딩(molding) 물질을 모두 포함하는 FBAR 듀플렉서 모듈의 전체 두께는 1.2 mm이다.

Bonding of a resin-modified glass ionomer cement to dentin using universal adhesives

  • Objectives: This study aims to assess the effect of universal adhesives pretreatment on the bond strength of resin-modified glass ionomer cement to dentin. Materials and Methods: Fifty caries-free human third molars were employed. The teeth were randomly assigned into five groups (n = 10) based on dentin surface pretreatments: Single Bond Universal (3M Oral Care), Gluma Bond Universal (Heraeus Kulzer), Prime&Bond Elect (Dentsply), Cavity Conditioner (GC) and control (no surface treatment). After Fuji II LC (GC) was bonded to the dentin surfaces, the specimens were stored for 7 days at 37℃. The specimens were segmented into microspecimens, and the microspecimens were subjugated to microtensile bond strength testing (1.0 mm/min). The modes of failure analyzed using a stereomicroscope and scanning electron microscopy. Data were statistically analyzed with one-way analysis of variance and Duncan tests (p = 0.05). Results: The surface pretreatments with the universal adhesives and conditioner increased the bond strength of Fuji II LC to dentin (p < 0.05). Single Bond Universal and Gluma Bond Universal provided higher bond strength to Fuji II LC than Cavity Conditioner (p < 0.05). The bond strengths obtained from Prime&Bond Elect and Cavity Conditioner were not statistically different (p > 0.05). Conclusions: The universal adhesives and polyacrylic acid conditioner could increase the bond strength of resin-modified glass ionomer cement (RMGIC) to dentin. The use of universal adhesives before the application of RMGIC may be more beneficial in improving bond strength.

  • One of the principal problems encountered in the use of fiber reinforced composites is to establish an active fiber surface to achieve maximum adhesion between resin and fiber surface. In order to improve the interface bonding, the surface of glass fiber should be treated with silane coupling agent in ordinary composite manufacturing processes. However, the price of the coupling agent is very high and in the treating process voids are formed, which decreasees electrical and mechanical strength. We want to develope new process that will overcome the disadvantage of the coupling agent and achieve maximum adhesion at the interface between resin and fiber by active plasma treatment on the glass fiber surface. In this study, we investigate the improvement of contact angle on the glass plate surface as the first step in developing new GFRP.

고온용 유리 봉합재의 filler 첨가효과 (Study on Filler Effects of High Temperature Glass Sealant)

  • 지르코니아에 접합과 반응성이 정합되며 고온에서 물리화학적으로 안정성을 갖는 접합재를 제조하기 위하여 silicate계 유리의 조성에 따른 적심특성, 결정화 및 반응성등 제반 특성을 고찰하였다. 지르코니아와의 열팽창계수가 정합 될 수 있는 유리계에 대한 조성 실험하였다. Alkaline earth silicate 유리는 적심성이 우수하였으며 적심각이 낮으며 $B_2O_3$의 첨가함로써 유리의 점도를 조절 및 결정화를 억제할 수가 있었다. $900^{\circ}C$ 이하에서 적심공정에 일어났으며 $800^{\circ}C$에서 10시간동안 유지한 후에 결정화와 계면 반응을 조사한 결과 기공이 많이 발생하였으며 $B_2O_3$를 15mo1% 첨가한 경우 흐름성이 증가하였으며 기판과의 반응성이 높아졌다. 기공을 없애기 위해서는 공정변수를 조절하여 유리의 소결을 촉진할 필요가 있으며 유리점도와 반응성에 관한 최적화가 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 유리-세라믹필러 복합체의 고온적심성에 대하여 조사하였다. Filler로서 $ZrO_2$분말을 여러 조건으로 열처리하여 분말종류와 첨가량에 따라 기공, $ZrO_2$ filler의 형상 및 계면반응 등을 고찰하였다.

흡습 환경 하의 폴리프로필렌/유리 섬유 강화 복합재료의 환경 열화 특성 (Environment Deterioration Characteristics of Polypropylene / Glass Fiber Composites under Moisture Absorption Environment)

  • In this study, a mixture of polypropylene fibers and glass fibers were used to weave polypropylene/glass fiber-reinforced composite panels with characteristics such as highly elongated short fibers, high ductility, anti-fouling, and hydrophobicity as a result of a directional property. Mechanical and environmental tests were carried out with specimens fabricated with this composite panel, and its applicability to shipbuilding and ocean leisure industries was evaluated through a comparison with existing glass fiber-reinforced composite materials. The results of this experiment verified the excellence of the polypropylene/glass-mixed woven fiber-reinforced composite material compared to the existing glass fiber-reinforced composite material. However, the forming process needs to be changed to improve the weak interfacial bonding, and the properties of the composite material itself could be improved through mixed weaving with other fibers after development. Maximizing of the advantages of the polypropylene fibers and overcoming their shortcomings will improve their applicability to the shipbuilding, ocean leisure, and other industries, and increase the value of polypropylene fibers in the composite material market.

아스팔트 덧씌우기 하부의 Geogrid 부착방법에 따른 반사균열 지연특성 비교 (Comparison of Geogrid Bonding Methods under Asphalt Overlay Layer for Reflection Cracking Retardation)

  • 본 연구는 아스팔트 덧씌우기 포장에 나타나는 반사균열을 제어하기 위하여 노후된 시멘트 콘크리트 포장과 아스팔트 덧씌우기 포장 경계면에 보강재의 효과적인 부착 방법을 찾기 위하여 수행하였다. 이를 위한 부착재로는 RSC-4 유화아스팔트, 컴파운드, 불포화 폴리에스터 수지 (UPR) 등 3종류를 사용하였다. 또한 아스팔트 혼합물은 3종류의 밀입도 혼합물(AC 60-80, RLDPE 8%, PG 76-22)을 사용하였다. 보강 재료로서 유리섬유 그리드 하부에 직포가 부착된 것을 사용하였다. 복합모드 파괴(mode II)의 모사를 위한 촉진시험은 휠트랙킹 장비를 이용하여 수행하였다. 반사균열의 진전은 피로수명으로서 하중 사이클 수에 따라 측정하였고, 공시체의 변위는 각각 시험 공시체에 대하여 demec 게이지를 이용하여 측정하였다. 본 연구 결과, UPR 부착이 가장 효과적이었으며 다음은 RSC-4의 순이었다. 그러나 현장 적용성을 고려할 때 , RSC-4 유제가 보강 재료의 부착을 위해 적절한 선택으로 판단된다.

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of salivary contamination of teeth on bonding efficacy of self-priming and self-etching DBSs. The materials used were Single Bond(SB, self-priming system, 3M), Unifil Bond(UB, self-etching system, GC), and Scotchbond Multi-Purpose Plus(SM, 3M) as control. Forty five human molars randomly allocated to three groups as dentin bonding systems tested and embedded in epoxy resin. Then the specimens were wet-ground to expose flat buccal enamel surface or flat occlusal dentin surface and cut bucco-lingually to form two halves with slow speed diamond saw. One of them was used under non-contamination, other under contamination with saliva. The bonding procedure was according to the manufacturer's directions and resin composite(Z-100, 3M Dental Products, St. Paul, MN) was built-up on the bonded surface 5mm high. The specimens were ground carefully at the enamel-composite interface with fine finishing round diamond bur to create an hour-glass shape yielding bonded surface areas of $1.5{\pm}0.1\textrm{mm}^2$. The specimens were bonded to the modified microtensile testing apparatus with cyanoacrylate, attached to the universal testing machine and stressed in tension at a CHS of 1mm/min. The tensile force at failure was recorded and converted to a tensile stress(MPa). Mean values and standard deviations of the bond strength are listed in table. One-way ANOVA was used to determine significant difference at the 95% level. The bond strength of SBMP and SB were not affected by salivary contamination, but that of UB was significantly affected by salivary contamination. These results indicate that DBSs with total etch technique seems less likely affected by salivary contamination in bonding procedure.

Hydrogen-Bonding Induced Alternating Thin Films of Dendrimer and Block Copolymer Micelle

  • The hydrogen-bonding induced alternating multilayer thin films of dendrimers and block copolymer micelles were demonstrated. The block copolymer micelles derived from amphiphilic poly(2-ethyl-2-oxazoline)block-$poly({\varepsilon}-carprolactone)$ (PEtOz-PCL) in aqueous phase have a core-shell structure with a mean hydrodynamic diameter of 26 nm. The hydrogen bonding between the PEtOz outer shell of micelle and the carboxyl unit of poly(amidoamine) dendrimer of generation 4.5 (PAMAM-4.5G) at pH 3 was utilized as a driving force for the layerby-layer alternating deposition. The multilayer thin film was fabricated on the poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) thin film spin-coated on silicon wafer or glass substrate by the alternate dipping of PEtOz-PCL micelles and PAMAM dendrimers in aqueous solution at pH 3. The formation of multilayer thin film was characterized by using ellipsometry, UV-vis spectroscopy, and atomic force microscopy. The PEtOz outer shell of PEtOz-PCL micelle provided the pH-responsive hydrogen bonding sites with peripheral carboxylic acids of PAM AM dendrimer. The multilayer thin film was reversibly removed after dipping in aqueous solution at $pH{\geq}5.6$ due to dissociation of the hydrogen bonding between PEtOz shell of PEtOz-PCL micelle and peripheral carboxyl units of PAMAM dendrimer.

Au/Au-Sn 이종접합 적용 레이저 패키징을 통한 Vapor Cell 신뢰성 연구 (Study on Reliability of Vapor Cell by Laser Packaging with Au/Au-Sn Heterojunction)

  • As packaging processes for atomic gyroscope vapor cells, the glass tube tip-off process, anodic bonding, and paste sealing have been widely studied. However, there are stability issues in the alkali metal which are caused by impurity elements and leakage during high-temperature processes. In this study, we investigated the applicability of a vapor cell low-temperature packaging process by depositing Au on a Pyrex cell in addition to forming an Au-Sn thin film on a cap to cover the cell, followed by laser irradiation of the Au/Au-Sn interface. The mechanism of the thin film bonding was evaluated by XRD, while the packaging reliability of an Ne gas-filled vapor cell was characterized by variation of plasma discharge behavior with time. Furthermore, we confirmed that the Rb alkaline metal inside the vapor cell showed no color change, indicating no oxidation occurred during the process.

아세틸렌 플라스마를 이용한 다이아몬드성 탄소 박막의 제작 및 특성 (Preparation and Investigation of Characteristics of Diamond-like Carbon Thin Films by Acetylene Plasma)

  • 지주파 PECVD 방법으로 아세틸렌 분암비를 달리하면서 제작한 비정질 탄소 박막에서의 분광 특성을 조사하였다. Raman 분광으로부터 D 피크와 G 피크의 상대적인 세기로부터 $sp^3/sp^2$은 수소함량에 대한 경향성을 알 수가 있었으며, FTIR 분광으로부터 계산된 수소함량은 16~37 atm %, $sp^3/sp^2$d,s 0.22~1.44로 변화하였다. 이와 같은 분광특성에 의하여 최적의 아세틸렌 분압비는~15%임을 알 수가 있었다.
