  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the assertive behavior of asking smokers not to smoke and investigate the factors related to assertive behavior in patients with vascular diseases. Methods: Participants were 203 adult Korean patients with vascular diseases such as cerebral infarction and myocardial infarction. Data were collected using questionnaires that included the characteristics of secondhand smoke (SHS), secondhand smoke-related variables (Health belief model factors, health promotion model factors) and level of assertive behavior. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 18.0 were performed. Results: Participants who never ask smokers not to smoke was 39.9%, whereas participants who always ask was 7.4%. There was a weak positive relationship between assertive behavior and susceptibility to disease (r=.18), severity of disease (r=.19), benefit of assertive behavior to SHS exposure (r=.10), barrier of assertive behavior to SHS exposure (r=.24), and self-rated health (r=.21) respectively. There was a moderate positive relationship between assertive behavior and self-efficacy of assertive behavior to SHS exposure (r=.49). Health belief model factors explained 15.7% variance and health promotion model factors explained 27.0% of assertive behavior. Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that self-efficacy of assertive behavior to SHS exposure is a very important factor. Therefore the development of a program to foster self-efficacy of assertive behavior regarding SHS exposure in patients with vascular diseases is needed.

  • Purpose: This study was done to analyze the effect of supervisor-focused impression management behavior of the airline cabin crew on perceived customer empathy. It focused on verifying dual meanings of the crew's emotional expression divided into surface acting and deep acting. Research design, data and methodology: The survey was conducted on cabin crews of two major Korean airlines. The reliability and validity of each variable used in the questionnaire were verified. Then, each hypothesis was analyzed through multiple regression analysis. Results: Firstly, the crew's supervisor-focused impression management behavior had a significant effect only on surface acting of the crew's emotional labor behavior. Among the crew's supervisor-focused IM behaviors, verbal IM behavior had a greater influence on surface acting than non-verbal IM behavior. Secondly, there was no relationship between the crew's supervisor-focused IM behavior and the crew's deep acting. Thirdly, the crew's emotional labor behavior (surface acting & deep acting) had a significant effect on perceived customer empathy. Fourth, the crew's deep acting had a greater influence on perceived customer empathy than surface acting. Conclusions: Cabin crews receive double evaluation from their immediate supervisors and customers. As a result, it was confirmed that the crew's supervisor-focused IM behavior, the crew's emotional labor behavior, and perceived customer empathy were connected process.

This study also tests the mediating role of entrepreneurial passion on the association between knowledge sharing and innovative work behavior in distribution channel. Research design, data and methodology: A quantitative methodology is adopted to inspect the association between knowledge sharing, entrepreneurial passion, and innovative work behavior. Data are obtained from 193 employees from four stone milling companies in Central Java - Indonesia. The Smart PLS 3.0 software is used to verify and test the offered hypotheses. Results: The significant empirical findings reveal that knowledge sharing positively affects entrepreneurial passion and innovative work behavior. Also, entrepreneurial passion positively affects innovative work behavior. In addition, this study brings to the light that entrepreneurial passion mediates the association between knowledge sharing and innovative work behavior. These results suggest that organizations should freely facilitate knowledge-sharing behavior to increase entrepreneurial passion within the organization, thereby promoting innovative work behavior. Conclusions: This study presents a significant contribution to the development of knowledge in business because the studies on the association between knowledge sharing and innovative work behavior have not taken into account the mediating role of entrepreneurial passion.

  • The view point of the library is treated as a first subject. This study is scheduled to construct, as a experimental study, the system of the Library Science. The study of this fields is called upon greatly because the trial to understand library as a socio-cultural phenomenon did not study as many times. As a result of the study, library is defined as ${\ulcorner}Structural Formation of Inquirying Behavior{\lrcorner}$. Not only technique and actual proof are possible in this study but also this definition is technical definition to indicate the main phenomenon of Librarial Behavior. This schedule represent the trial to define Library Behavior which could anticipate and fabricate when we analyze this definition First, we can find out, first of all, the researching behavior among the human behaviors and then human behavior has the condition of practice. At last, researching behavior can not have any result when it is a natural situation, it has only the meaning when it is guided by an obvious intention. The object of the library is just this human behavior. Second, Formation permits the guidance and self-control at the same-times. The answer about what we find out and practice make it possible the act of guidance. This guidance can't burden any subject but permit the people to result his own researching behaviors. He can save his activities, his own researching behaviors by the result of it. Third, The statematical means efficient performances, and them efficient performances is impossible, here is 'discoveries' of behavior itself. The system of the library is the formation of the relation between the accumulated civilizations and accumulated civilizations. As the definitions of the above mentions, library has the big abilities to the creation and succession of the civilization. As the contemporary view-points, there are some questions about the above described definition can meet it of the library. When we frame the science of library as the learning systems, we can't but the library as this definitions.

  • This study deals with the yielding behavior and strain aging properties of three bake hardening steels with dual-phase microstructure, fabricated by varying the annealing temperature. Bake hardening and aging tests are performed to examine the correlation of martensite volume fraction with yielding behavior and strain aging properties of the bake hardening steels with dual-phase microstructure. The volume fraction of martensite increases with increasing annealing temperature. Room-temperature tensile test results show that the yielding behavior changes from discontinuous-type to continuous-type with increasing volume fraction of martensite due to higher mobile dislocation density. According to the bake hardening and aging tests, the specimen with the highest fraction of martensite exhibited high bake hardening with low aging index because solute carbon atoms in ferrite and martensite effectively diffuse to dislocations during the bake hardening test, while in the aging test they diffuse at only ferrite due to lower aging temperature.

  • The present study deals with the effects of micro-alloying elements such as Ni, V, and Ti on the recrystallization behavior of carbon steels at different strain rates. Eight steel specimens were fabricated by varying the chemical composition and reheating temperature; then, a high-temperature compressive deformation test was conducted in order to investigate the relationship of the microstructure and the recrystallization behavior. The specimens containing micro-alloying elements had smaller prior austenite grain sizes than those of the other specimens, presumably due to the pinning effect of the formation of carbonitrides and AlN precipitates at the austenite grain boundaries. The high-temperature compressive deformation test results indicate that dynamic recrystallization behavior was suppressed in the specimens with micro-alloying elements, particularly at increased strain rate, because of the pinning effect of precipitates, grain boundary dragging and lattice misfit effects of solute atoms, although the strength increased with increasing strain rate.

  • The effects of a neutral solvent of dioctyl phthalate (DOP) on the phase behavior of symmetric polystyrene-block-poly(n-butyl methacrylate) copolymers (PS-b-PnBMA) were assessed herein. Closed-loop phase behavior with a lower disorder-to-order transition (LDOT) and an upper order-to-disorder transition (UODT) was observed for PS-b-PnBMA/DOP solution when the quantity of DOP was carefully controlled. When the molecular weight of PS-b-PnBMA became larger, the LDOT did not appreciably change at smaller quantities of DOP. With larger quantities of DOP, the reduction in the UODT is greater than the increase in the LDOT. This behavior is discussed in accordance with a molecular theory predicated on a compressible random-phase approximation.

  • The primary goal of this study is to investigate the impact of social capital on consumer attitudinal evaluations. We propose a hypothetical receptacle, thereby applying a mediation framework because of social capital. We expect that increasing social capital would improve brand image and consumer-company (C-C) identification, resulting in positive in-role and extra-role customer behavior toward the brand. Data was collected from 425 respondents primarily from Karachi's five zones (East, West, North, South, and Central) and analyzed using confirmatory component analysis and structural equation design. The findings showed that social capital had a positive and significant relationship with customer extra-role behavior, as well as two mediators, brand image and consumer business identity. Furthermore, both mediators have a significant impact on both in-role and extra-role behavior. However, there is no evidence that social capital has a direct impact on in-role behavior. This study will help businesses in gaining a competitive advantage by concentrating on social capital to improve their brand image and customer relationship.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of parenting efficacy, parenting behavior, and parenting stress on children's problematic behavior in Korea and China. The subjects were 292 children and their mothers who are caring for their 3-5 years old children in Korea and China. Data was collected using a parenting efficacy index, parenting behavior index, parenting stress index and child behavior check list. The data were statistically analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA (Scheff$\acute{e}$ test), correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The study showed that there were no significant differences in parenting efficacy, parenting behavior, parenting stress and children's problematic behavior in Korea and China. There were some significant differences in children's problematic behavior according to the socio-demographic variables, that is the gender of the child, the mother's education, the father's education, in Korea and China. Correlation analysis indicated that the parenting efficacy, parenting behavior, parenting stress and children's problematic behavior in Korea and China had significant correlations in some sub-variables. It was also found that the gender of the child, the mother's education, the father's education, the frustration and uneasiness of the parents, the control behavior, and the stress of parent-child dysfunctional interaction, were all significant predictors of the preschool children's problematic behavior in Korea, and the mother's education, the family income, the affection behavior, the rejection behavior, and the control behavior, were all significant predictors of the preschool children's problematic behavior in China.
