다국적기업 국내 자회사의 자율성과 경영성과에 관한 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Relationship Between Foreign Subsidiary's Autonomy and Performance)

  • 해외자회사의 자율성이 높아지면 경영성과가 좋아질 것이라는 것은 경영자들에게는 너무나도 당연한 논리로 받아들여 왔지만 실제로 학술적인 실증분석이 이루어지지 못하였다. 또한 글로벌경영으로 경영패러다임 전환 이후 본사의 글로벌조정의 틀 속에서도 자회사의 자율성 수준과 경영성과와의 정의 상관관계가 실제로 유의적인지 밝혀진 바가 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제를 확인하기 위하여 한국에 진출한 다국적기업을 연구대상으로 하여 다국적기업 해외자회사(본 연구에서는 한국 국내자회사)의 자율성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향관계를 연구하였다. 검증 결과 자율성은 재무적 성과와 전략적 성과 모두에 유의적인 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 해외자회사의 자율성을 제고시킬수록 자회사의 경영성과가 높아진다는 일반적인 생각을 확인해주는 결과이다. 또한 글로벌경영의 틀 안에서도, 즉 본사의 글로벌조정 속에서도 해외자회사의 자율성을 확보해주는 것이 경영성과 향상에 중요하다는 것을 시사하고 있다.

  • 본고(本稿)의 목적은 지방자치제(地方自治制)가 실시됨에 따라 국민경제(國民經濟)에 어떠한 파급효과를 미칠 것인가의 문제와 지방자치(地方自治)의 건실한 발전과 정착을 위해서 지방재정(地方財政)을 어떻게 운용할 것인가의 문제를 고찰하고자 함에 있다. 지방자치(地方自治)는 우리 경제의 지속적인 성장(成長)과 균형발전(均衡發展), 자원배분(資源配分)의 효율성 (效率性) 제고(提高)에 크게 기여할 것이나 경제적(經濟的)인 폐해(弊害)로서 단기적인 물가불안(物價不安), 조세경쟁(租稅競爭) 및 조세수출(租稅輸出)로 인한 자원배분(資源配分)의 비효율(非效率), 지방정부(地方政府)의 재정파탄(財政破綻) 등이 우려되는데 이에 대해서는 적절한 대응책이 강구되어야 한다. 일반적으로 지방자치(地方自治)의 경우 중앙집권(中央集權)의 경우보다 자원배분(資源配分)이 효율적(效率的)으로 이루어지나 본고(本稿) 제(第)III장(章)의 모형분석(模型分析)에서는 지방자치(地方自治)와 중앙집권(中央集權)의 상대적인 효율성(效率性)이 국가(國家) 지방공공재(地方公共財)의 대체탄력성(代替彈力性)의 크기에 의해서 결정되며 대체탄력성(代替彈力性)이 1보다 크면 오히려 중앙집권(中央集權)의 경우보다 효율적(效率的)인 자원배분(資源配分)이 이루어지는 결과가 나타난다. 지방자치(地方自治)의 건실한 발전은 다음과 같은 세가지 내용을 포함하는 지방재정(地方財政) 민주주의(民主主義)의 확립에 의해서 달성될 수 있다. (1) 중앙정부(中央政府)에 대한 지방정부(地方政府)의 자주적(自主的)인 재정권(財政權)이 확립되어야 하며 특히 중앙정부(中央政府)와 지방정부(地方政府)가 어느 정도 대등한 입장에서 합리적으로 운용(運用)할 수 있는 민주적(民主的)인 지방재정조정제도(地方財政調整制度)가 마련되어야 한다. (2) 지방재정운용(地方財政運用)에 있어서 주민(住民)들이 직접 예산편성(豫算編成)과 지역(地域)의 종합발전계획(綜合發展計劃)에 참여하는 직접민주주의(直接民主主義)가 활성화(活性化)되어야 하며 이를 위한 제1의 전제조건으로서 지방재정(地方財政)의 운용내용이 모든 주민(住民)들에게 공개되어야 한다. (3) 지방자치(地方自治)의 경제적(經濟的) 폐해(弊害)로서 가장 우려되는 지방정부(地方政府)의 재정파탄(財政破綻) 가능성에 대비하여 지방정부(地方政府)의 방만한 재정운용(財政運用)을 방지할 수 있는 제도적(制度的) 장치(裝置)로서 미국(美國) 등에서 시행되고 있는 주민(住民)이나 지방의회(地方議會)에 의한 여러가지 형태의 재정통제제도(財政統制制度)가 마련되어야 한다.

경호무도 전공자의 지각된 자율성지지가 내재적 동기 및 열정에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Perceived Autonomy Support on Intrinsic Motivation and Passion for Major students of Security Martial Arts)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 경호무도 전공자의 지각된 자율성지지가 내재적 동기와 열정에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것이었다. 연구대상은 편의표본추출법(convenience sampling method)을 이용하여 수도권 대학의 경호무도 전공자들 317명을 선정하였다. 조사도구는 자율성지지, 내재적 동기, 열정으로 구인타당도 검증 후 통계처리에 활용하였다. 자료처리는 기술통계, 탐색적 및 확인적 요인분석, 상관관계분석, 구조모형검증을 하였다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경호무도 전공자의 지각된 자율성지지는 내재적 동기에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 경호무도 전공자의 자율성지지는 조화열정에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 경호무도 전공자의 자율성지지는 강박열정에 영향을 미치지 않는다. 넷째, 경호무도 전공자의 내재적 동기는 조화열정에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 다섯째, 경호무도 전공자의 내재적 동기는 강박열정에 부정적 영향을 미친다. 경호무도 전공자의 지각된 자율성지지와 조화열정 및 강박열정 간의 관계에서 내재적 동기는 부분 및 완전 매개역할로 작용함을 확인하였다. 종합해볼 때, 경호무도 전공자의 자율성지지에 의한 무도수련활동에서 자기 결정적 동기화를 통하여 자발적인 의지가 발생됨을 알 수 있었다. 또한 경호무도 전공자의 자율성지지에 의한 내재적 욕구충족에 따른 개인 및 대인적 압박감에 의해 빠른 시기에 설정된 목표를 이루고자 하는 욕구가 발생될 가능성도 고려해야 함을 확인하였다.

직무요구와 직무자원이 보건교사의 소진과 열의에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Job Demands and Job Resources on Burnout and Engagement among School Health Teachers)

  • Purpose: The Purpose of this study was to examine school health teachers' burnout, engagement, job demands and job resources and to identify the factors that influence burnout and engagement. Methods: The participants were 222 school health teachers working in elementary, middle or high schools. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and hierarchical multiple regression. Results: The significant factors influencing burnout were rewards (${\beta}=-.51$), autonomy (${\beta}=-.15$), and job demands (${\beta}=.13$). These factors explained 42% of the variance in burnout. The significant factors influencing engagement were feedback (${\beta}=.49$), rewards (${\beta}=.21$), type of employment (${\beta}=.15$) and autonomy (${\beta}=.13$). These factors explained 49% of the variance in engagement. Conclusion: The study showed that job demands increase burnout, while job resources such as rewards and autonomy alleviate it. In addition, job resources, such as feedback, rewards and autonomy, increase engagement among school health teachers. Therefore, in order to reduce burnout and increase engagement among school health teachers, it is necessary to reduce the level of job demands and to provide enough job resources such as rewards, autonomy and feedback by improving the job environment.

상처장루실금간호사의 간호업무성과에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Influencing Factors on Task Performance of Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses in Korea)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify variables influencing task performance of wound ostomy continence nurses (WOCN). Methods: Data were collected from 80 WOCN in Korea from September to October 2011 using a self-reported questionnaire. Variables consisted of task performance, empowerment, professional autonomy, job satisfaction and job-related variables. Data were analyzed by frequencies, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. Results: Professional autonomy was a major predictor of task performance of WOCN (F=37.37, p=<.001). Empowerment(F=33.10, p=.001) and completion of the professional education course for wound ostomy continence nursing WOCN(F=7.46, p=.008) were the other significant predictors of task performance. The regression model explained 45.3% of task performance. Conclusion: Professional autonomy, empowerment and completion of the professional education course contribute to task performance of WOCN. These findings have important implications for organizations hoping to achieve the maximum potential of WOCN's professional role. Therefore, strategies for reinforcement of professional autonomy, empowerment, and completion of professional education course are necessary for WOCN working in South Korea.

관상동맥질환 위험요인, 자율성 지지 및 건강행위 이행이 관상동맥질환자의 재발에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Risk Factors, Autonomy Support and Health Behavior Compliance on the Relapse in Patients with Coronary Artery Disease)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this secondary data analysis was to identify factors influencing a relapse among patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). Methods: Of 250 participants enrolled in the original study 75 were selected as there was no relapse for more than one year following the initial treatment and 54 were selected because there was a relapse. Data were analyzed using ${\chi}^2$ test, t-test or F test to determine if there were any significant differences in the study variables relative to the status of relapse. Predictors were calculated by logistic regression. Results: Autonomy supported by healthcare providers was the significant predictor for relapse in patients with CAD. Patients with low autonomy supported by healthcare providers was 3.91 times more likely to relapse than patients with high autonomy supported. Patients with diabetes were at greater risk of recurrence. Conclusion: Secondary prevention of CAD is a major task for patients with CAD. Behavioral strategies for cardiovascular risk reduction are essential and autonomy supported by healthcare providers should be included in their strategies.

인간-로봇 팀의 조절가능 자율도 구현에서 무결절 전환 (Seamless Switching in the Implementation of the Adjustable Autonomy of Human-Robot Teams)

  • Adjustable autonomy architecture provides various ways for a human operator to participate as a member of a human-robot team in improving the performance of the team by resolving issues that the robots cannot deal with or performing tasks that the robots alone would unable to do. According to the level of involvement of the human operator, the robots have to adjust their level of autonomy and, in consequence, the operation mode of the overall system shifts. This paper deals with the implementation issues of seamless switching when the level of autonomy of the human-robot team shifts from one level to another. Especially, we focus on developing reliable methods for monitoring the task progress and maximizing the system flexibility by coping with the detailed differences between humans and robots in their characteristics of motions and their choices of positions, paths, and sequences of sub-goals to achieve a given task. To test and motivate the proposed methods, we have assembled three heterogeneous robots which work together to dock both ends of a suspended beam into stanchions.

어머니의 심리통제 및 아동의 행동적 자율성과 자기 통제력이 아동의 문제행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Mother's Psychological Control, Children's Behavioral Autonomy and Self Control on Children's Problems Behavior)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of mother's psychological control, children's behavioral autonomy and self control on children's behavioral problems(depression, anxiety, withdrawal, and aggression). The subjects were 293 6th graders residing in Cheonan. It was found that children's perceptions of mother's psychological control was significantly related with the level of children's depression, anxiety, withdrawal, and aggression. In addition, Children's behavioral autonomy was significantly predictor of depression and anxiety. Children's depression and aggression were influenced by self control of children. Finally the relative effect of mother's psychological control, children's behavioral autonomy and self control on problems behavior were as follows. Children's depression and anxiety were predicted by mother's psychological control. The other side withdrawal problem. was influenced by mother's psychological control on boys, by self control on girls. The children's aggression was influenced by self control in all cases.

  • The painting style has much influenced on the creativity of design in the developmental process of modern fashion. This fact tells that pure art and fashion design have the same purpose in the end. In this paper. the color Autonomy of Matisse was analyzed and how its result influences on modern fashion design was investigated. Matisse is, in fact. the leader of Fauvism and the painter who brought the Fauvism painting to its perfection in the purest state. Matisse achieved the revolution of new color with only the color in expressing formative factor. Matisse's color autonomy are fusion technique, flatness, decoration, simplicity, etc. To sum up the influence that this autonomy played on modern fashion design, intensive pure color expression, strongly-supplemented color effect among primary colors, decoration of color, simplicity of color, that is to say. he gave rise to the revolution of color, Many modern designers are applying this method to the theme of fashion and motive, color the technique of expression. Thanks to this. the new formative artistic expression could be adapted in fashion, and it also induced the inspiration of original design, with great contribution to bringing the era of its own distinct individualism in modern times.

Factors Affecting Responsibility Accounting at Public Universities: Evidence from Vietnam

  • The study explores factors that affect the performance of responsibility accounting at public universities in Vietnam. The study conducted a survey of 130, out of 154 public universities in Vietnam and uses regression analysis methods. The results identify eight groups of factors affecting the performance of responsibility accounting at these establishments of higher education: Division of the organization into responsibility centers, Estimation and Reality, Cost and income allocation, University autonomy, Management decentralization, Estimation, Reward, and Report. Costs and income allocation for responsibility centers, university autonomy, and the division of universities into responsibility centers are shown to significantly affect the performance of public universities in Vietnam. The results show that the performance of responsibility accounting at public universities in Vietnam is influenced by decentralization of management, division of the organization into responsibility centers, reward, cost and income allocation, estimation, evaluation of the results achieved between the estimation compared with reality, release of reports and university autonomy. Among the factors, cost and income allocation, university autonomy, division of the organization into responsibility centers, reward and evaluation of results achieved between estimation and reality have strong impacts. The study findings also indicate that the school council does not affect responsibility accounting at these universities.
