For clothing behavior, two types of Clothing Conformity Scales were developed for this study, and two other aspects were assessed with Won, Choi. and Kahng's questionnaires dealing with Unisex Clothing Behavior and The Interest in fashionable Styles of Clothing. Sex role attitude was measured by Choi's questionnairs which was selected from Osmond-Martins's Sex Role Attitude Scale, and from Smith, Ferree and Miller's Feminism Scale. The questionnaires were administered to a sample of 243 high school boys in Seoul. The statistical analyses used for this study included relative frequency, Pearson's correlation, stepwise multiple regression. ANOVA, and t-test. The results obtained from this research were: 1) The liberal attitude of high school boys toward sex role was, in part, negatively correlated to the clothing conformity. 2) There were no significant relationships between sex role attitude ana unisex clothing behavior, and between sex role attitude and the interest in fashionable styles of clothing. 3) The unisex clothing behavior of the students was positively correlated to their interest in fashionable styles of clothing.

  • This study was aimed to analyze factors affecting intention on clinical application by task autonomy of dental hygienists, expected effect and obstructive factor on clinical application of assessment, dental hygiene diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation (ADPIE). Meanwhile, it proved mediating effects of "attitude toward ADPIE" when it came to "intention on clinical application". The data was collected from 237 dental personnel in capital region from March 28, 2014 to May 2, 2014. To analyze the suitability of a theoretical model and hypothesis testing, SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 18.0 program were used. The theoretical model was accepted as it resulted in ${\chi}^2=421.67$ while showing goodness of fit index=0.858, comparative fit index=0.915, Tucker-Lewis index=0.896, root mean square residual=0.039, and root mean square error of approximation=0.099. The result showed "task autonomy of dental hygienists (${\beta}=0.398$, p<0.05)" and "expected effect on ADPIE (${\beta}=0.363$, p<0.01)" had a positive effect on "attitude toward ADPIE". Also, "attitude toward ADPIE" had a positive effect on "intention on clinical application". In addition, "task autonomy of dental hygienists" and "expected effect on ADPIE" had an indirect influence on "intention on clinical application" via such intermediary as "attitude toward ADPIE". According to the above results, the task autonomy of dental hygienists, expected effect on ADPIE, and attitude toward ADPIE were confirmed to be significant factors when it came to the intention on its clinical application. Therefore in order to settle ADPIE in the clinical practice, improvement of task autonomy for dental hygienists as well as their expectation and attitude on ADPIE must be promoted.

  • With the advent of an intelligent information society, research toward artificial intelligence education was conducted. In previous studies, the subject of research is biased, and studies that analyze attitudes toward artificial intelligence are insufficient. So, in this study developed a test tool to measure the artificial intelligence of high school students and analyze their attitudes toward artificial intelligence. To develop the test tool, 229 high school students completed a preliminary test, of which the results were analyzed via exploratory factor analysis. To analyze the students' attitudes toward artificial intelligence, the resulting test tool was applied to 481 high school students, and their test results were analyzed according to factors. From the study's results, there was no difference according to gender in the students' attitudes toward artificial intelligence, but there was a significant difference per grade. In addition, there was a significant difference in attitudes according to artificial intelligence-related experiences: the high school students who had direct and indirect experience with artificial intelligence, programming, and more frequently used it had more positive attitudes toward artificial intelligence than students without this experience. However, artificial intelligence education experience negatively influenced the students' attitudes toward artificial intelligence. Overall, the higher their interest in artificial intelligence, the more positive the high school students' attitudes toward artificial intelligence.

  • This study analyzes the surveys of attitudes toward science, the peer relationship, the achievement motivations, and the parents' attitudes to science gifted education. It have been conducted to 53 scientifically gifted and 120 non-gifted students. The findings from the analyses suggest that there exist few meaningful differences in the attitude toward science, the motive for achievements and the peer relationship except in the parents' attitude to the gifted student education. This means that the recognition and the attitude of the parents have great influences on non-gifted students especially female students in the process of resolving to take future directions to science fields and choosing the gifted education center. Accordingly, we are in dire need of the changes in the social recognition of science and it is strongly recommended to seek for the ways of promoting science and supporting engineering graduates at the level of nation, thereby establishing legal and institutional foundations to make effective human resource arrangements.

Based on the existing research, the authors tried to consider two sub-concepts of globalness and localness in perceived Korean Wave brands. In addition, as surveyed in Vietnam research institutes and previous researches, Korean cosmetics were selected as representative Korean products in view of the fact that Korean cosmetics best reflect Korea and Korean Wave. To test hypotheses, the on-line survey was conducted to the Vietnamese consumers and total of 212 questionnaires were returned as valid sample. Research findings suggest that the globalness and localness of Korean Wave brand that Vietnamese consumers perceive have a positive effect on attitude toward Korean products. In addition, the favorable attitude toward these products has a positive effect on the intention to purchase the Korean products.
