The mentoring program as a man-to-man program was conducted in 2009 and provided married immigrant women with an agricultural education program. This study used a case study as a research method and collected data using interviews and observations. Participants were selected according to Patton's (2002) purposeful sampling strategies, and the results of data analysis were evaluated by the method of Evaluation Checklist. In order to increase the internal validity of the study, this study used both triangulation and peer examination. By including the diverse aspects of the mentoring program, this study shows that each case has special characteristics according to the situations of married immigrant women and their mentors. This study was carried out to investigate the effects of rain-shelter types on growth, and fruit quality of red pepper (Capsicum annuum, 'Kemmaru') cultured in paddy. Applied rain-shelter types were outfield (control), simple rain-shelter plastic house with 2 rows (2R), simple rain-shelter plastic house with 4 rows (4R), and perfect plastic house (House). The plant height was the highest in Houses treatment. There was no difference in leaf length and width among the rain-shelter treatments. The fresh and dry weight of red pepper was high in order of House > 4R > 2R > Control. The ASTA value is irregular tendency among the treatments. Hunter's color value 'a' and 'b' was not different from among the treatments. Phytophthora blight, powdery mildew, bacterial spot were not occurred in all of treatments, and Anthracnose was only occurred in control. Mite, Microcephalothrips abdominalis, and Bemisia tabaci were not occurred in all of treatments, and aphid, Helicoverpa assulta, and virus were occurred all of treatments as same degree. Our results will provide rain-shelter cultivation of red pepper can be increase dry yield and decrease disease and insects.

To investigate farmers' satisfaction level and factors influencing on various agricultural and rural policies, an interview survey has been carried out in Jeonnam and Jeonbuk agricultural area, and collected 750 survey questionnaires from farmers. Satisfaction level was low in average ranging from 2.71 to 3.09 in five point Likert-scale on 22 agricultural-rural related policies. Ordered logit model results showed that satisfaction level decreased when farmers are older, had higher income, and had higher number of attendance in agricultural education programme. In addition, satisfaction level decreased when farms had main source of income from rice farming, dry-field farming, livestock farming, or facility horticulture. Lower satisfaction level was also related to location of farm. On the contrary, satisfaction level increased when the farmer had greater owned land. Among 22 agricultural and rural policies, practices that farmers prefer include Direct Payment for Rice Farming Income Compensation, Environment-Friendly Farming Service, Farmland Banking Services in order. Since direct payment policies that farmers prefer may not contribute in development of agriculture, policies can induce both farm income and agricultural development may increase farmer satisfaction level and finally resolve the income gap between the urban workers and farmers.

Recently, the rapidly growing new generation of renewable energy projects has emerged as an artificial building that creates a mix of natural environments and disruption to the environment. It serves as a quality inhibitor for rural landscapes and implies the absence of favorable rural landscape. Therefore, the study looked at the color scheme of residents, visitors, and experts in the village, which changed the color of the landscape, and analyzed the color scheme of residents, visitors, and experts. In order to do so, the village was divided into three types and conducted a survey by the general public and experts. In the case of the survey, residents of the three districts (Yeoju, Dam yang, Jeju) were surveyed for 210 residents, and the survey conducted a survey and analysis of 30 people in the area. As a result, both the general public and experts recognized the color change in the energy business, which resulted in the identification of associations and colors of the village. In addition, the recognition and satisfaction of the current situation showed that the education programs for the public were more important than the professionals, as the public show ed low levels of public awareness. Based on this research, we expect to be able to utilize the plan as a guideline for the project of installing solar panels, which is expected to be implemented in the beginning of the project, and can be used as a guideline for the establishment of the solar panels.
