This paper proposes an intuitive real-time robot control system using human body movement. Recently, it has been developed that motion generation for humanoid robots with reflecting human body movement, which is measured by a motion capture. However, in the existing studies about robot control system by human body movement, the detailed structure information of a robot, for example, degrees of freedom, the range of motion and forms, must be examined in order to calculate inverse kinematics. In this study, we have proposed Associative Motion Generation as humanoid robot motion generation method which does not need the detailed structure information. The associative motion generation system is composed of two neural networks: nonlinear principal component analysis and Jordan recurrent neural network, and the associative motion is generated with the following three steps. First, the system learns the correspondence relationship between an indication and a motion using training data. Second, associative values are extracted for associating a new motion from an unfamiliar indication using nonlinear principal component analysis. Last, the robot generates a new motion through calculation by Jordan recurrent neural network using the associative values. In this paper, we propose a real-time humanoid robot control system based on Associative Motion Generation, that enables user to control motion intuitively by human body movement. Through the task processing and subjective evaluation experiments, we confirmed the effective usability and affective evaluations of the proposed system.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to observe the early postpartum low back pain and pelvic girdle pain in the Korean medical hospital for 2-weeks. Methods: Fifty-one postpartum women who admitted for postpartum care in Korean hospital from December 3rd, 2011 to January 31st, 2012 had written out pain measurement questionnaires(SF-MPQ, VAS, ODI) three times for 2-weeks. SPSS 18.0 for Windows was used to analyse the data and the independent samples t-test, paired T-test were used to verify the results. Results: 1. Evaluation of low back pain within the first week after birth was as follows: SF-MPQ sensory area was $5.06{\pm}4.41$ points; SF-MPQ emotional areas was $0.86{\pm}1.34$ points; VAS mean was $3.79{\pm}2.02$ points; and ODI mean was $10.27{\pm}6.69$. 2. Early postpartum low back pain and pelvic girdle pain were significantly decreased in SF-MPQ, VAS, and ODI after 2-weeks(p < 0.01). 3. Age, birth type, parity, weight, and BMI increased during pregnancy does not affect the postpartum low back pain and pelvic girdle pain. Conclusions: The top 10% of postpartum low back pain scale was 10.8 points or more in the sensory area of SF-MPQ, and 3 points or more in the affective area of SF-MPQ. In the case of VAS, it was more than 7 points, and ODI was more than 21.8 points. Postpartum back pain with oriental medical treatment was significantly improved.
Focusing on vastly different results between two presidential elections in 2012 and 2017, this paper examines how political attitudes of conservative voters had changed in 5 years and how these changes had brought about differences in their vote choices in 2017. Using panel data encompassing two presidential elections, this paper finds that, though ideological and affective evaluation of conservative parties and candidates had indeed deteriorated among supporters of Park Geun-Hye in 2012, it is candidate factors rather partisan ones that exerted much more significant influence on their vote choices in 2017. In addition it is found that the differentiation in political and economic policy preferences among conservative voters had only slight influence on their voted choices in 2017. This paper concludes with discussing how to understand the result of the $19^{th}$ presidential elections and what implications it has in prospecting the party realignment in Korean electoral politics.
Purpose : Anxiety disorder and depressive disorder are often comorbid with each other, and the comorbidity is associated with poorer psychiatric outcome, resistance to treatment, increased risk for suicide, greater chance for recurrence. We aimed to investigate the comorbidity of anxiety disorder in Korea. Method : Subjects were total of 867 depressed patients recruited CRESCEND-K multicenter trial. We used SCID (Structured Clinical Interview for DSM - IV) to find comorbidity of anxiety disorders in depressed patient. Results : Of 867 patients, total 8.2% had anxiety disorder. Proportion of anxiety disorder Not Otherwise Specified was 3.5%, panic disorder was 1.7%, generalized anxiety disorder was 1.1%, post traumatic stress disorder was 0.9%, obsessive compulsive disorder was 0.6%, social phobia was 0.4%. Conclusion : In this study, anxiety disorder in depression were measured at a low comorbidity rate in compare to previous studies. Selection bias, use of antidepressants at registration, severity of depression symptoms, and point of SICD administration seems to have affected these results. It is probable that comorbidity evaluation would be more precise if shorter, structured interviews such as M. I.N.I.-Plus were used during first clinical interview for depression diagnosis.

The climatic index for tourism(CIT) has recently been advanced, which includes complete human energy balance models such as physiological equivalent temperature(PET) and universal thermal climate index(UTCI). This study investigated human thermal sensation and comfort at Woljung-ri Beach, Jeju, Republic of Korea, in spring and summer 2015 for landscape planning and design in beach areas. Microclimatic data measurements and human thermal sensation/comfort surveys from ISO 10551 were conducted together. There were 869 adults that participated. As a result, perceptual and thermal preference that consider only physiological aspects had high coefficients of determination($r^2$) with PET in linear regression analyses: 92.8% and 87.6%, respectively. However, affective evaluation, personal acceptability and personal tolerance, which consider both physiological and psychological aspects, had low $r^2s$: 60.0%, 21.1% and 46.4%, respectively. However, the correlations between them and PET were all significant at the 0.01 level. The neutral PET range in perceptual for human thermal sensation was $25{\sim}27^{\circ}C$, but a PET range less or equal to 20% dissatisfaction, which was recommended by ASHRAE Standard 55, could not be achieved in perceptual. Only PET ranges in affective evaluation and personal tolerance affected by both aspects were qualified for the recommendation as $21{\sim}32^{\circ}C$ and $17{\sim}37^{\circ}C$, respectively. Therefore, the PET range of $21{\sim}32^{\circ}C$ is recommended to be used for the human thermal comfort zone of beach areas in landscape planning and design as well as tourism and recreational planning. PET heat stress level ranges on the beach were $2{\sim}5^{\circ}C$ higher than those in inland urban areas of the Republic of Korea. Also, they were similar to high results of tropical areas such as Taiwan and Nigeria, and higher than those of western and middle Europe and Tel Aviv, Israel.

Recently, 'students who gave up mathematics' became social problems. The need for systematic support for spreading and seating mathematics clinics was recognized. The mathematics clinic emphasizes the change of the affective aspects by constantly meeting the students and listening to the worries of the students. It is also a program that guides students in the future to see mathematics in a positive way. However, at school, mathematics clinics are operated in various forms at the discretion of teachers. Therefore, it is difficult to confirm whether the purpose of the mathematics clinic is being achieved properly. It is necessary to prepare a plan that can act as a guideline to check the necessary basic items for the runs of the math clinic and to check the necessary parts in the course of runs The purpose of this study is to develop a model for evaluating mathematics clinic programs which can be a guideline for the operation of mathematics clinic programs in a systematic way and to reduce the confusion of operation of mathematics clinics at the schools. We expect that this evaluation model could provide a direction for the operation of a math clinic.

In this study, we examined students' science academic achievement through an analysis of the national assessment of educational achievement(NAEA) from 2015 to 2018 when the 2009 revised curriculum was applied. This study analyzed achievement average scores by gender and region and also analyzed the trend of the rate of achievement level in order to understand the characteristics of students' academic achievement. In addition, we analyzed the characteristics of the affective aspect using a survey of students' attitudes (confidence, interest, value, and willingness to learn) toward science. The main findings are as follows; First, the average science score shows a tendency to decrease year by year at the middle school level. Second, when analyzed by achievement level, the decline in the advanced group was large, and the rate of the below basic group increased. Third, comparisons of the average achievement scores by gender, female students' scores were generally high and the difference in achievement scores between male and female students tended to increase. Fourth, a characteristic gap was found between regional scales that increased in the advanced group. The results of a questionnaire on students' attitudes show that the four constructs of the students' attitudes had a significant correlation with the average achievement scores. In addition, the mean and positive response rates on the confidence, interest, and value of science in the above proficiency group increased but decreased in the below basic group. These results can be used as basic data for revising the curriculum, improving teaching and learning, and establishing educational policies.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the content and design of the seven math camp programs for students of the education centers for the elementary gifted students. The analysis focused on the goals, content, and evaluations utilized in the math camp programs. The results of the study were as follows. First, there was no big difference between the goals set for each camp, and they mainly focused on the goals in affective domain. Second, the content of math camp programs was focused on enrichment rather than acceleration. Most of the programs were focused on geometry, whereas fewer programs were focused on measurement, probability and statistics. Based on the Analysis, we found that only nine out of 27 programs applied level-wised or individual exercise programs. Third, all centers for the mathematically gifted carried out evaluations of their math camp programs. However, a specific evaluation plan was not established for the math camp program plans. We suggested the direction of math camp programs as follows. First, the goals should reflect on the intended outcomes of the math camp programs. Also, the goals of math camp programs need to be distinctive from general education goals. Second, the programs should contain harmonious contents with enrichment and acceleration and must include various reactions and task commitment. The math camp programs need to include references and an appropriate information for the gifted students to encourage self-directed learning. Third, a more specific evaluation plan for math camp programs needs to be developed for effective education for the gifted students.
This research investigated the Revised mathematics curriculum and the National Achievement Test of Japan that advanced by leaps and bounds in PISA 2012. As compared with Korea, Japan shows similar trends in the affective domain and the cognitive domain of international achievement test. To put it concretely, this research compared and analyzed the mathematics contents domain of the 2009 revised mathematics curriculum of Korea and the 2008 revised mathematics curriculum of Japan being applied. The analysis was conducted in many aspects including overall of Japanese mathematics education system, the contents to be covered in each grade, and the methods of essential learning themes. . Also, this research compared and analyzed overview of evaluation system, assessment frame, item characteristic, type of item of NAEA, NAT, and PISA. The results show the introduction time, the degree of deepening themes handled in each country, common themes and topics were very similar between Korea and Japan. But content area of Japan and Korea have been highlighted in the curriculum of middle school and elementary school in each are different. We know that Test B of NAT also emphasized the use of mathematical knowledge. Form the results, we obtained the basic data for the improvement of the next our curriculum. In addition, this results suggests the implications for the improvement of school mathematics curriculum of Korea.

Inquiry occupies an important place in science education, and research related to inquiry is widely conducted. However, due to the inclusiveness of the concept of "exploration," each researcher perceives its meaning differently, and approaches may vary. In addition, criticisms have been raised that the results of classes using inquiry in science education do not guarantee meaningful changes to students. Therefore, this study attempts to identify the trend of SSCI-level research papers dealing with inquiry in science education over the past three years to confirm the current status and effectiveness of the inquiry. Researches used in the analysis are International Journal of Science Education, Journal of Research in Science Teaching, Research in Science Education, and Science Education, and limited to those that directly suggest "inquiry (enquiry)" as a keyword. Based on extracted 75 papers, the classification process was conducted, and an analysis frame was derived inductively by reflecting the subject and characteristics. Specific cases for each category were presented by dividing into three aspects: perception and perspective on inquiry, support and strategy for inquiry, and teacher professional development for inquiry. The results of examining the implications for scientific inquiry are as follows: First, rather than defining inquiry as an implicit proposition or presenting it as a step-by-step procedure, it was induced to grasp the meaning of inquiry more comprehensively and holistically. Second, as to whether the inquiry-based instruction is effective in all aspects of the cognitive, functional, and affective domains of science, the limitations are clearly presented, and the context-dependent and subject-specific properties and limitations of inquiry are emphasized. Third, uncertainty in science inquiry-based instruction can help learners to begin their inquiry and develop interest, but in the process of recognizing data and restructuring knowledge, explicit and specific guidance and scaffolding should be provided at an appropriate timing.
