누리과정 교사용 지도서에 나타난 통일교육 내용분석 (Contents Analysis on Unification Education in the Teachers' Manual of the Nuri Curriculum)

  • Objective: This study aimed to examine the status of South Korean unification education for young children by reviewing Nuri curriculum developed by the Korean government. Method: Literature review was adopted in order to analyze the contents of the Nuri curriculum teachers'manuals under the areas and elements of unification education. Results: Unification education has been designed to accelerate unification, to promote the values and attitudes toward the unification of the two Koreas, and to prepare for the post-unification period. This education can be categorized into specific areas: democratic community, democratic citizenship, peacekeeping and multiculturalism. These areas account for 24.24% of the total contents in the Teachers'Manual of the Nuri curriculum. The percentage of the contents helpful to understand North Korea and unification, however, is merely 0.25% of the total contents, and the elements are not fairly balanced. Such content coverage of the teacher's manuals for kindergartens is 2.83% higher than that for preschools. Conclusion/Implications: The implications of this analysis include that the elements of unification education should take a more balanced approach with more integrated and broader coverage. The elements also need to be revised so that both kindergarteners and preschoolers can get access to unification education of the same quality.

노동에서의 성불평등: 전통 속의 성차별을 권력으로 재고찰하기 (Gender inequality in the workforce: reviewing gender differentiation in Korean tradition as a power)

  • Gender equality has been expected to realize fully in the process of globalization. According to neo-liberal, which views globalization as a rational development, irrational discrimination by culture will disappear. But some feminists criticize globalization as a patriarchal phenomenon. So in this paper, the extent to which women in Korea have achieved equality with men in the workforce is assessed through an examination of the gender gap during 1993-2003. As the result, it was found that women had still lower status than men in spite of laws established to promote gender equality. Then to explore the direction for eliminating the patriarchal gaps, women in traditional Korea were reviewed. Traditionally women were oppressed by the practice of Naeoe differentiating between women and men. But on the other hand it made women to have equal status with men by maintaining their own productive area. So it was suggested that differentiation should be considered as a source of power to be adopted into women's activitism such as NGOs or international women' movement to achieve full equality in inequitable globalization.

  • This research presents a three-dimensional modeling technique for a flexible sheet. A relative coordinate formulation is used to represent the kinematics of the sheet. The three-dimensional flexible sheet is modeled by multi-rigid bodies interconnected by out-of-plane joints and plate force elements. A parent node is designated as a master body and is connected to the ground by a floating joint to cover the rigid motion of the flexible sheet in space. Since the in-plane deformation of a sheet such as a paper and a film is relatively small, compared to out-of-plane deformation, only the out-of-plane deformation is accounted for in this research. The recursive formulation has been adopted to solve the equations of motion efficiently. An example is presented to show the validity of the proposed method.

소아청소년정신과영역의 새로운 항우울제 (NEW ANTIDEPRESSANTS IN CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRY)

  • 새로운 항우울제가 다량 개발되어 임상에 도입되면서 항우울제의 약리 작용에 대한 이해도 넓어졌다. 그에 따라 얻어진 새로운 정보와 이론을 소아청소년기 우울증 치료에 반영할 필요가 있다. 소아청소년기 최신지견에 따라 합리적인 우울증 치료 지침 마련을 위하여 고려하여야 할 주요 사항들과 새로운 항우울제의 특징들을 살펴보고자 하였다. 전자문헌 데이터베이스 검색 도구를 사용하여'new', 'antidepressant', 'children'의 검색어로 얻어진 97개 고찰 문헌 가운데 특히 치료 지침과 새로운 항우울제의 정신약리작용에 관한 것을 선별하여 중점적으로 고찰하였다. 아울러 새로운 항우울제 각 약물에 대한 치료 효과에 대한 문헌을 추가로 선택 참고하였다. 또 약물상호 작용과 안전성에 관하여 미국 식품보건국과 보건후생부의 공식사이트에서 제공되는 문헌을 참고하였다. 1) 우울 장애의 임상 경과, 치료 기간, 및 치료 효과는 성인기 치료 지침에서 제시된 바를 채택한 경우가 많았다. 2) 소아청소년기 우울증에 대한 항우울제의 효과에 대한 연구 결과는 TCA가 효과와 부작용에서 SSRI보다 뒤져서 소아청소년 우울장애의 일차 치료제로 권장 된다. 3) 새로운 항우울제는 아직 소아청소년에게 치료 경험과 임상 연구 결과가 부족하다. 4) SSRI와 새로운 항우울제들은 두 개 이상을 병용할 때 약동학적 및 약력학적인 상호작용이 있을 수 있다. 5) 소아청소년기 항우울제의 임상적 효과가 성인기와 다른 것은 발달적 측면에서 설명할 수 있겠으나 직접적인 증거가 좀더 쌓일 필요가 있다. 소아청소년기 우울증의 약물 치료 지침은 임상 연구 소견과 임상적 경험을 종합하여 세울 수 있다. 그러나 약물 치료 지침은 임상가가 합리적인 판단을 내릴 수 있도록 하는 참고 자료이며 그 목적을 다하기 위하여 새로운 연구 결과가 있을 때 마다 새로 개정 되어야 할 것이다. 중 외톨이-왕따에 해당되는 청소년의 어머니는 비외톨이 청소년의 어머니보다 자녀들의 사고 문제 및 우울/불안 등의 정서적 문제를 더 높게 평가하였다. 그러나, 자녀들에 대한 양육 태도에 대해서는 차이를 두지 않는 것으로 보인다. 향후 보다 많은 환자들을 대상으로 한 추가 연구가 필요할 것이다. 강압적인 양육행동을 변화시키기 위해서는 주의력결핍과잉행동장애 아동 부모의 양육 스트레스, 아동에 대한 역기능적 사고 및 양육 효능감을 다루어야 할 뿐 아니라, 부모의 우울감을 치료 시 고려해야 할 것이다.순차처리항목과 계산능력에서 유의하게 높았고(p<.05), KEDI-WISC를 이용한 평가에서는 ADHD- HI형은 대상수가 소수여서 비교할 수 없었으며, ADHD-C형과 ADHD-Ⅰ형 사이에 유의한 차이는 보이지 않았다. CPT, WCST, SST를 이용한 신경심리학적 실행기능의 비교에서 아형간 계량적인 차이는 있었으나 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 보이지 않았다. 결 론:결론적으로 ADHD 세 아형은 임상적으로 뚜렷한 차이를 보였지만, 실행기능상 유의한 차이를 발견할 수 없었다. 향후 보다 잘 고안 된 연구와 발달중인 아동에 적절한 신경심리 평가 도구의 개발을 통해 결과를 보완해야 할 것으로 사료된다.었으나, 주의력에서는 전두엽의 실행능력(executive function)과 관련되는 검사들에서 산소흡입이 특이한 효과를 보여준다는 것이 확인되었고, 기억능력에서는 단기기억능력 평가에서 산소흡입군이 대조군보다 유의한 효과를 보여주는 것으로 평가되었다. 이러한 연구결과는 산소흡입이 전두엽과 관련된 수행능력, 작동기억능력 향상에 도움이 될 가능성이 있음을 시사하는 결과라고 생각된다.증 1명(5%)이었다. 모든 대상 아동이 주 진단 이외의 2∼6개 이상의 다양한 공존진단을 보였다. 공존진단에는 주의력결핍-과잉운동장애, 우울병, 경계선지능 및 정신지체, 학습장애,

인간생명존중에 대한 중.고등학교 교과서 내용분석 (Analysis of Life Respect-related Content Portrayed in the 7th to 10th Grade Textbooks in Middle and High Schools)

  • 목적 본 연구의 목적은 한국 국민공통기본교육기간(초등학교 1학년부터 고등학교 1학년까지) 중에서 중 고등학교 교과서에 포함된 인간생명 존중 관련 내용을 분석하여 중, 고등학생을 위한 인간생명존중 교육프로그램 개발의 기초자료를 제공하기 위함이다. 방법 중 고등학교 교과서에서 다루고 있는 인간생명존중에 대한 내용을 분석한 서술적 조사연구이다. 결과 중학교 과정인 7-9학년 교과서를 분석한 결과 생명존중 관련 내용은 총 6개로 범주화되었고 해당내용은 총 222개였다. 6개 범주는 빈도가 높은 순으로 "사고예방과 응급처치", "정신건강", "성과 건강", "약물 오남용 및 흡연음주예방"," 일상생활과 건강"," 사회와 건강"이었다. 고등학교 과정인 10학년 교과서를 분석한 결과, 인간생명존중 관련 내용은 총 6개로 범주화되었고 해당 내용은 82개였다. 6개의 범주는 빈도가 높은 순으로 보면" 약물 오남용, 흡연, 음주와 건강"," 성과 건강", "정신건강", "생명과학과 인간생명경시", "일상생활과 건강", "사회와 건강"으로 구분되었다. 결론 본 연구에서 중 고등학교과정에서 다루고 있는 생명존중교육내용은 인간의 소중함에 대한 개념과 실천적인 이해, 자신의 본래의 가치 및 소중함과 진정한 삶의 의미 발견 등의 인간생명존중에 대한 보다 근원적인 이해보다는 방법론적인 면에 치중되어 있음이 확인되었다. '공존하기 위한 경쟁' 논리에 근거한 생명존중교육이 자신과 사회에 대한 정체성이 확립되어야 하는 청소년기 교육과정에 총체적 돌봄을 제공해야 하는 보건교과를 중심으로 보다 집중적으로 이루어짐으로써 자신의 고유한 가치가 인식되며 진정한 삶의 의미가 실현될 수 있는 교육이 이루어질 수 있어야겠다.

경인 지역의 정신 지체아 부모의 스트레스와 대응 (Stress and Coping among Parents of Mentally Retarded Children in the Kyoung-in area)

  • The purpose of this study was to contribute to family nursing for reducing stress and improving coping of the parents of mentally retarded children. Data were collected through self-reported questionnaires during a period of 2 months between November 1994 and January 1995 in the Kyoung-in area. The subjects consist of 180 parents (90 mothers and 90 fathers) of mentally retarded children attending schools for the handicapped and 186 parents (93 mothers and 93 fathers) of normal children. The levels of general stress and of parental role stress were measured with the General stress scale and the Parental role stress scale, respectively, while the Coping scale was adopted to measure the level of coping. The data were analyzed by using Chi-square test. fisher's exact test, Repeated masured ANOVA, oneway ANOVA and Scheffe comparison test. The results were as follows ; 1. The level of general stress was significantly higher in the mothers and the fathers of the men-tally retarded than in the respective parents of the normal. Of the parents, the mothers experienced significantly greater level of general stress than the fathers did in both groups of the retarded and of the normal. 2. As for the parental role stress, the mothers and the fathers of the mentally retarded experienced significantly greater stress than respective parents of normal children did. In particular, the stress was significantly higher in the mothers than the fathers of these children in both groups. The difference in the levels of parental role stress experienced by mothers and by fathers was significantly bigger among those of the mentally retarded tnan among those of normal children. 3. No significant difference in the level of coping was observed between the mothers of both groups and the fathers of both groups. By contrast, the fathers revealed significantly greater scores in coping than the mothers in both groups. 4. General stress experienced by the fathers of the mentally retarded was different by health status, satisfaction with spouses, and the supports from their spouses. Health status, satisfaction with spouses, and monthly income Influenced parental role stress experienced by those fathers. Their level of coping was associated with their satis-faction with spouses and family life. 5. Of the mothers of the mentally retarded, the level of general stress was different by their health status, while parental role stress was related to the satisfaction with their spouses and the child's age. The level of coping among the mothers was different by the supports from their spouses. The above findings indicate that those parents of the mentally retarded did not take more coping strategies than those of the normal did, despite greater stress experienced among themselves. Hence, nursing intervention for managing stress should be given to those parents including fathers of mentally retarded children. Mothers of the mentally retarded, in particular, should receive high priority in planning nursing care, since they experience greater levels of both general stress and parental role stress than their spouses, which is most likey due to primary responsibility in child rearing given to them at home.

한국 미혼모의 임신 체험 연구 (A Phenomenological Study on Pregnancy Experience of Unmarried Korean Mothers)

  • The purpose of this study was to discuss the nature of pregnancy experience among unwed Korean mothers and to figure out what it meant for them, by asking some of them to reflect on themselves in a written form from interpretative and phenomenological perspective, based on van Manen's research method of the same approach. The subjects in this study were seven unmarried mothers in Korea. The data were collected from July through December 2000 through in- depth interview and observation. The statements of the participants were taped, recorded, analyzed and select essential themes. To have a phenomenological understanding of the pregnancy unmarried mothers, literary works, including essays and novels, were reviewed. The findings of this study were as below: The selected substantial themes about the pregnancy and birth experiences of the single mothers included 'hatred for boy friend,' 'hatred for the fetus,' and 'hatred for myself.' The unmarried mothers met their boy friends through the introduction of friends. At first, they were good friends, but they soon went on a date and had sexual relation with no common knowledge about sex. Most of them were aware of their pregnancy after they felt fetal movement, but they put off taking the test because they didn't want to accept the fact and feared it. Such an attitude was rare among married pregnant women, and being pregnant with no prior preparation or sexual knowledge is not common in Western countries. They felt guilty and informed their boy friends of the fact, but the boy friends didn't admit their responsibility and rejected the babies. This made the poor girls hate them, and it turned into severe abhorrence. They thought their lives were ruined by the babies, and wished they would disappear. They reproached the babies, hitting their own bellies or making a kick. They considered themselves to be abandoned and didn't want to live any more. Giving themselves up to despair, some attempted to commit a suicide. They hoped to die, thinking their death would solve the problem. When they lost a chance of abortion and were about to have the babies adopted, they felt sorry for them. The unwanted pregnancy gave them a pain, but they keenly felt they were loved by their mothers, and learned the value of family. It's attempted in this study to clearly show how much unmarried Korean mothers suffered from pregnancy, and this effort paved the way for seeing unwed mothers in a new light and having a better understanding of them, instead of sticking to general perception.

초등학교 아동의 스트레스 생활사건과 대처방식, 건강문제에 관한 연구 (A Study of Stress, Stress Coping Style and Health Symptoms in 6th Grade Elementary School Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the stressors and stress coping styles of 6th grade el ementary school children and to explore the relationship between stressful life events and health symptoms and the effects of coping style which is theoretically considered to mediate the relationship between stress and health symptoms. The study subjects consisted of 329 in 6th grade elementary school children in Cheong-Ju city. Of the 329 subjects, 171 were boys and 158 were girls. For this study, three kinds of questionnaires were adopted as follows ; 1) Feel Bad Scale (FBS) by Lewis et al., 2) lazarus-Folkman's Way of coping questionnaire 3) Hee Sun Shin's Health Symptom questionnaire (HSQ) The researcher visited the school and collected data in the class using the questionnaire method after an explanation of the purpose and procedures was given to the children. Data collection was done for 10 days (from 5th to 15th of July 1997) . The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis using the SAS statistical program. The results of this study were as follows : 1. The mean score for the FBS was 211.37(range : 77-427), The most severe stressors perceived by children were parental divorce and other's smash or steal of my things. The most frequently experienced stressful life events were conflict with siblings and being scolded for other's fault. 2. The most frequently used stress coping style was the active coping (M=17.85), followed by passive (M=13.64) and magical one (M=13.42). 3. The mean score for the HSQ was 23.30(range : 0-72) The most frequently complained health symptoms were headache and having much worry about everything. 4. There was a significant relationship between stressful life events and health symptoms (r=.60, p<.001). Also, stressful life events were positively related with passive coping(r=.27, p<.001) and magical coping (r=.38, p<.001). Health symptoms were positively correlated with passive coping(r=.33, p<.001) and magical coping (r=.41, p<.001). 5. Stepwise multiple regression analysis revealed that the most powerful predictor was the variable of stressful life events. Health concerns, magical coping style, passive coping style and active coping style accounted for 49.15% of the variance in health symptoms. This study revealed that stressful life events correlated with health symptoms in 6th grade elementary school children and passive coping and magical coping had mediating effects on this relationship. The implication for nursing is that there is a need to develop supportive interventions for high risk population to decrease health problems due to stress.

예비보육교사의 보육교사 이미지에 대한 인식과 자아이미지 탐색연구 (A Study on Pre-Service Teachers' Perceptions about the Image of Childcare Center Teachers and Self-image)

  • 본 연구에서는 예비보육교사가 인식한 보육교사의 이미지 그리고 현재 자아이미지와 미래 본인들의 보육교사 이미지를 수업(명화 분석지, 조별토론, 자아이미지 성찰지)과 심층면담을 바탕으로 어떻게 구체화 되어가고 있는지를 탐색하기 위하여 연구 참여자 19명을 대상으로 연구를 수행하였다. 예비보육교사들은 자신들의 현재 자아이미지를 다각도적인 측면에서 깊이 있게 인식해보는 기회를 경험하였다. 이러한 인식의 과정들은 현재 자신의 자아이미지가 보육교사직 선택에 대한 갈등 중이며, 자존감이 낮고 자신감이 없어진 자아이미지, 열심히 보육교사직을 준비 중이지만, 불안한 자아이미지를 지니고 있음을 솔직하게 보여주었다. 그러나 이 지점에서 멈추지 않고, 미래를 위한 자신의 자아이미지를 위하여 예비보육교사들은 스스로 자아이미지를 새롭게 구축하려는 변화를 보여주었다. 보육교사직을 희망하고 있기에 앞으로 본인들에게 필요한 건강한 자아이미지를 위해 현재시점에서 구체적인 실천들을 계획했으며, 더 나아가서 미래에 만나게 될 동료 보육교사들과 함께 보육교사의 올바른 이미지를 구축하고자 하는 모습으로까지 자아이미지가 성장하고 변화되었다. 한편, 연구결과를 통해 나타난 사실은 예비보육교사들에게 절실히 필요했던 것은 본인들에게 관심을 가져주고 존중해주며, 자신감을 불어넣어주는 교사교육자의 역할이었다. 이는 교사교육자인 본 연구자에게도 시사하고 있는 바가 매우 크다. 예비보육교사들을 위한 대학의 교육과정에서도 교사교육자는 학생 개개인의 수준과 관심을 고려하여, 이들에게 진정으로 필요한 수업내용을 구체적으로 제공해주어야 할 뿐만 아니라 이들을 위한 정서적으로 지지해주는 역할도 재인식해야 함을 절감하게 되었다. 가르침과 돌봄이 핵심어가 되는 보육교사의 이미지를 교사교육자인 연구자가 먼저 모범으로 실천해야함을 확인하였다.

Organ Dose Conversion Coefficients Calculated for Korean Pediatric and Adult Voxel Phantoms Exposed to External Photon Fields

  • Background: Dose conversion coefficients (DCCs) have been commonly used to estimate radiation-dose absorption by human organs based on physical measurements of fluence or kerma. The International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) has reported a library of DCCs, but few studies have been conducted on their applicability to non-Caucasian populations. In the present study, we collected a total of 8 Korean pediatric and adult voxel phantoms to calculate the organ DCCs for idealized external photon-irradiation geometries. Materials and Methods: We adopted one pediatric female phantom (ETRI Child), two adult female phantoms (KORWOMAN and HDRK Female), and five adult male phantoms (KORMAN, ETRI Man, KTMAN1, KTMAN2, and HDRK Man). A general-purpose Monte Carlo radiation transport code, MCNPX2.7 (Monte Carlo N-Particle Transport extended version 2.7), was employed to calculate the DCCs for 13 major radiosensitive organs in six irradiation geometries (anteroposterior, posteroanterior, right lateral, left lateral, rotational, and isotropic) and 33 photon energy bins (0.01-20 MeV). Results and Discussion: The DCCs for major radiosensitive organs (e.g., lungs and colon) in anteroposterior geometry agreed reasonably well across the 8 Korean phantoms, whereas those for deep-seated organs (e.g., gonads) varied significantly. The DCCs of the child phantom were greater than those of the adult phantoms. A comparison with the ICRP Publication 116 data showed reasonable agreements with the Korean phantom-based data. The variations in organ DCCs were well explained using the distribution of organ depths from the phantom surface. Conclusion: A library of dose conversion coefficients for major radiosensitive organs in a series of pediatric and adult Korean voxel phantoms was established and compared with the reference data from the ICRP. This comparison showed that our Korean phantom-based data agrees reasonably with the ICRP reference data.
