Active Random Noise Control using Adaptive Learning Rate Neural Networks

  • In this paper an active random noise control using adaptive learning rate neural networks is presented. The adaptive learning rate strategy increases the learning rate by a small constant if the current partial derivative of the objective function with respect to the weight and the exponential average of the previous derivatives have the same sign, otherwise the learning rate is decreased by a proportion of its value. The use of an adaptive learning rate attempts to keep the learning step size as large as possible without leading to oscillation. It is expected that a cost function minimize rapidly and training time is decreased. Numerical simulations and experiments of active random noise control with the transfer function of the error path will be performed, to validate the convergence properties of the adaptive learning rate Neural Networks. Control results show that adaptive learning rate Neural Networks control structure can outperform linear controllers and conventional neural network controller for the active random noise control.

웹 기반 학습에 있어서의 상호작용적 자기조절학습 전략 연구 (Study on Interactive Self-regulated Learning Strategy in Web-based Learning)

  • 최근 웹 기반 학습의 우수성이 크게 대두되고 여러 방면의 연구들이 진행되고 있으나 학습자의 주도적인 참여를 요구하기 때문에 이를 극복하려는 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 웹 기반 학습 시스템이 가지고 있는 결함을 보완하기 위해서 학습 환경을 촉진시키기 위한 자기조절학습 전략을 개발하였다. 자기조절학습 전략은 일반적이고 추상적인 내용으로 구성되어 있어 이를 구체적으로 구현하기 위한 하위 전략들을 도출한다. 또한 좀 더 체계화된 시스템 개발을 위해 하위 전략 요소에 대한 상호작용적 설계를 하여 보다 진보된 웹 기반 학습 시스템을 구축하고 이를 검증하였다.

일부 치위생과 학생의 학습전략과 학업성취도간의 관련성 (Relation between learning strategy and academic achievement in the dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate the relation between learning strategy and academic achievement in the dental hygiene students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 207 dental hygiene students in Gyeongnam from April 1 to 30, 2014. The questionnaire consisted fo 51 questions of learning strategy and 1 question of academic achievement. The data were analyzed using SPSS 17.0 program for descriptive analyses, t-test, Pearson correlation and multiple regressing analysis. Results: The organized strategy and learning time management had a significantly positive influence on high scores in the junior and senior students. Learning strategie(r=0.419) and cognitive strategies(r=0.343), metacognitive strategies(r=0.239), resource management strategies(r=0.415) had significantly positive correlation to academic achievement. Cognitive strategy of learning strategies(p<0.05) and resource management strategies(p<0.001) had a positive effect on higher academic achievement. Conclusions: The learning strategies will provide the dental hygiene students with active participations.

온라인 비교과 프로그램 참여자의 학습전략, 학습태도, 성취동기가 만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Learning Strategy, Learning Attitude, Achievement Motivation on Satisfaction of Online Extracurricular Participants)

  • This study was conducted with students who participated in an online extracurricular after COVID-19 in order to analyze the effects of college students' learning strategy, learning attitude, and achievement motivation on satisfaction. After participating in the online extracurricular, an online survey was conducted, and responses from 163 students were collected. Based on the collected data, the study results were analyzed. The results of the study are as follows. First, learning strategy was found to have a positive effect on satisfaction. These results can be inferred that positive recognition worked in the process of actually applying the learning strategies acquired through the extracurricular to their own learning. Second, learning attitude had a positive effect on satisfaction. The learner's learning attitude to develop necessary skills through experience and the sense of achievement experienced in the process of participating in the online extracurricular had a positive effect on satisfaction. Third, achievement motivation was found to have a positive effect on satisfaction. It can be inferred that the learner's active behavior by participating in the program acts as a motivation for achievement and affects satisfaction. Finally, through this study, a plan for effectively operating extracurricular in an online environment was presented.

Fault-tolerant control system for once-through steam generator based on reinforcement learning algorithm

  • Based on the Deep Q-Network(DQN) algorithm of reinforcement learning, an active fault-tolerance method with incremental action is proposed for the control system with sensor faults of the once-through steam generator(OTSG). In this paper, we first establish the OTSG model as the interaction environment for the agent of reinforcement learning. The reinforcement learning agent chooses an action according to the system state obtained by the pressure sensor, the incremental action can gradually approach the optimal strategy for the current fault, and then the agent updates the network by different rewards obtained in the interaction process. In this way, we can transform the active fault tolerant control process of the OTSG to the reinforcement learning agent's decision-making process. The comparison experiments compared with the traditional reinforcement learning algorithm(RL) with fixed strategies show that the active fault-tolerant controller designed in this paper can accurately and rapidly control under sensor faults so that the pressure of the OTSG can be stabilized near the set-point value, and the OTSG can run normally and stably.

정보화 전략과 기업 전략의 연계가 정보기술 하부구조 구축에 미치는 영향: 전략적 성과평가시스템의 역할 (The Effects of IS Strategic Alignment on the Development of IT Infrastructure: The Roles of Strategic Performance Measurement Systems)

  • The influence factors on the development of information technology(IT) infrastructure for knowledge management(KM) were not empirically investigated and identified. This study empirically examines the relationships among strategic performance measurement systems(SPMS), organizational learning, the strategic alignment of business strategy with information systems(IS) strategy, which is the necessary condition to provide the kinds of knowledge required for the successful realization of business strategy, and the active construction of IT infrastructure for KM. This study demonstrates that SPMS directly affects the organizational learning, with which the members of an organization acquire the types of knowledge about strategic goals or objectives and the ways attaining these goals, and indirectly influences the IS strategic alignment through organizational learning. Thus, the alignment between business strategy and IS strategy can be facilitated and activated by the adoption and implementation of SPMS. According to the results of this study, it is observed that the IS strategic alignment and organizational learning positively affect the activation of the development of KM IT infrastructure in a firm. The results of this study also shows that the construction of KM IT infrastructure, which supports the realization of KM activities, such as knowledge creation, transfer and sharing, can enhance the strategic position of a firm, and the intensified competitiveness of a firm can lead to the improvement of performance.

수학저널 쓰기학습에서 자기조절학습전략의 양상 (Aspects of Self-Regulated Learning Strategy in mathematical journal writing)

  • 자기조절학습전략은 메타인지적, 인지적, 동기적, 행동적인 전략들을 자율적으로 선택하고 적용하여 학습자가 적극적이고 능동적으로 학습에 참여할 수 있도록 돕는 학습전략이다. 본 연구의 목적은 수학저널 쓰기학습에서 자기조절학습전략의 양상은 어떠한가를 살펴보기 위함에 있다. 수학저널은 총 13문항으로 자기조절학습전략의 하위요소별로 1~2문항씩 구성하였다. 연구의 결과 수학저널에서 메타인지전략은 학습 목표 설정, 문제해결전략탐구, 반성적 사고, 예를 들어 설명하기 등으로 표현되었다. 인지전략은 아이디어간의 구조 파악하기, 위계화하기, 핵심 내용 파악하기 등으로 표현되었다. 동기전략은 학습에 대한 만족감과 불안감, 차후 학습에 대한 자신감과 좌절감 등으로 표현되었다. 이는 수학저널 쓰기학습을 통하여 자기조절학습전략이 활용되고 있으며 효율적이고 성공적인 학습을 돕는다는 점에서 수학 교육학적인 시사점이 있다.

  • 최근의 교육적 패러다임은 정보 통신의 발전에 따라 지식의 수동적인 전수자로서의 교육이 아닌, 실세계의 복잡하고 다양한 문제를 해결할 수 있는 능동적인 구성자로서의 교육을 요구하고 있다. 이러한 변화는 정보와 아이디어의 소유보다는 공유를 통해 다른 사람의 다양한 시각을 접할 수 있는 교육-환경을 요구한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 발표학습을 통한 상호작용 효과를 극대화하기 위해 발표의 일회성에 기인하는 단점, 발표자료의 재활용이 미흡한 점을 보완하며, 상호작용 활동의 연장, 발표활동에 참여하지 못하는 학습자에 대한 동기 부여를 통해 지속적인 상호작용이 가능하도록 웹 기반 형태의 발표학습 전략을 설계하였다. 이를 위해 동료학습자간 발표자료 제공자와 학습자로 구분하여 각각의 역할을 제시하고, 발표학습을 지원하기 위한 시스템 구성 전략을 단계별로 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 발표학습 전략을 통해 동료학습자간의 지속적인 상호작용이 가능하며, 시 공간 제약없이 하교 후에도 가정에서 발표학습 활동이 계속 이루어져 상호작용을 통한 교육적 효과가 클 것으로 기대된다.

영재학급 학생들이 What-If-Not 전략을 사용하여 만든 변형 루미큐브 게임 사례 분석 (The case analysis of Rummikub game redeveloped by gifted class using What-If-Not strategy)

  • 영재들에게는 교과서에서 요구하는 문제 만들기 수준을 넘어 생활 주변에서 경험하는 다양한 수학적 소재들을 창의적으로 재구성해보는 경험이, 영재 지도 교사에게는 그 학생들의 사고를 이해하고 후속적인 지도를 위한 교훈과 반성이 필요하다. 본 연구는 영재학급 학생들에게 문제 만들기 전략 활용 수업의 가능성을 확인하고, What-If-Not 전략을 배우고 난 영재학생들이 루미큐브라는 보드게임을 자신이 알고 있는 수학적인 요소에 맞게 변형해 본 다양한 사례들을 분석한다. 그 결과물을 교육과정의 내용(주제)별로 제시하고 변형 루미큐브 만들기 수업의 교육적 가치와 영재들을 위한 교육적 시사점을 제안하였다.

Paying Attention to Students and Promoting Students' Mathematics Understanding

  • Promoting students' mathematics understanding is an important research theme in mathematics education. According to general theories of learning, mathematics understanding is close to active learning or significant learning. Thus, if a teacher wants to promote his/her students' mathematics understanding, he/she should pay attention to the students so that the students' thinking is in active situation. In the first part of this paper, some mathematics teachers' ideas about paying attention to their students in Chinese high school are given by questionnaire and interview. In the second part of this paper, we give some teaching episodes about how experienced mathematics teachers promote their students' mathematics understanding based on paying attention on them.
