The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of emotional labor on burnout and career commitment of childcare teachers. For that purpose, a survey was taken with 207 childcare teachers in the region. Collected data were analyzed with SPSS 12.0(ver.). The findings were as follows: first, emotional labor(3.05), burnout(3.22), and career commitment(2.86) recorded higher points than average on a 5-point scale. Second, there were significant correlations among the variables of emotional labor, burnout, and career commitment. Third, emotional labor had positive(+) impacts on emotional exhaustion and depersonalization of the burnout subvariables and no significant impacts on personal accomplishment. Fourth, emotional labor had significant negative(-) effects on career commitment. Those findings show that the emotional labor of childcare teachers has influences on their burnout and career commitment on which it was estimated to have tacit effects. It is thus required to recognize and reevaluate the importance of emotional labor and establish a foundation for a social support system.

This paper tried to identify the impacts of job stress on burnout and organizational commitment in the casino industry. Prepared questionnaires were distributed to 300 sample employees working in domestic casino, then used for data analysis 283. The results of this study are as follows: Firstly, dissimilarity have a positive effect on emotional exhaustion. Secondly, role conflict and dissimilarity have a positive effect on lack of accomplishment. And role ambiguity have a negative effect on lack of accomplishment. Also role conflict and dissimilarity have a positive effect on depersonalization. And role ambiguity have a negative effect on depersonalization. Thirdly, role ambiguity have a positive effect on affective commitment. But, job stress have not effect on continuance commitment. This study will be able to contribute raising competitiveness of casino corporate and efficiency of human resource management.
The purpose of this study is to analyze teaching method of addition and subtraction of whole number in Korea and New Zealand lower grade textbook and to get some suggestive points to develop mathematics curriculum and for a qualitative improvement of textbook. To do this, we will analyze focusing on teaching material, type and method of teaching, cases of real teaching and in the case of New Zealand, we will analyze portfolios together to see what kind of things do they deal with related to addition and subtraction. From these analyzing, the results are as follows: First, the guideline of accomplishment of group of year are stated in 2009 revised curriculum in Korea but it is rough. On the other hand, the level of accomplishment from kindergarten to high school are stated divided by eight kinds of thing in New Zealand curriculum. Second, there were common and different points in the aspect of teaching material. The common points are that both of our Korea and New Zealand are using materials related to real life intimately and the diifferent points are to use technology such as calculator and computer. They are more widely used in New Zealand than our Korea. Third, Korea had used routine method mainly but New Zealand had used method to develop creativity of learner such as to write problem corresponding to expression, posing problem corresponding to information, to complete table and find pattern and to write word problem to explain pattern and so on. Fourth, we could see special calculation strategies in the case of teaching addition and subtraction such as concept of double, compensation, various strategy based on counting of number, addition of the same number, magic square, near-double which are not finding in our mathematics textbook. Fifth, in the New Zealand textbook they had used teaching methods inducing curiosity of learner such as finding message and puzzle problem than solving given problem simply.
Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the adaptation to college life of dental hygiene students. Methods: A total of 300 students in the 3-year course, and 200 students in the 4-year course at the Department of Dental Hygiene, were selected. A self-reported questionnaire was used between 27th June and 31st August 2017. From this, 439 questionnaires were collected and analyzed. Results: 1. The overall degree of adaptation to college life, according to varied general characteristics of the subject students, appeared to show that male students had a higher degree of adaptation than female students. It also appeared to be higher in students that had a higher level of academic accomplishment(<0.001). 2. The average score of the degree of adaptation to college life was 2.57 points(full score of 4.00 points). Social adaption had the highest score of 2.92 points, while academic adaptation had the lowest score of 2.37 points. Regarding the subordinate domains of adaptation to college life, the average score of attachment adaptation of students in the 3-year course of the Department of Dental Hygiene(2.69 points) appeared to be higher than that of students in the 4-year course(2.52 points). The difference between these scores was statistically significant(p=0.001). 3. The effects of varied academic systems upon the degree of adaptation to college life were also analyzed. Emotional and attachment adaptation to college, as well as the academic accomplishment of students in the 3-year course, was distributed over a range of 3.0~3.5. This was significantly different compared to students in the 4-year course(p<0.05). Conclusion: It is necessary to develop stepwise and continuous educational programs to enable better college life adaptation for students in the Department of Dental Hygiene.
This study was carried out to evaluate high-school students' nutrient intakes according to the status of depressive trends, and to analyse the in physical and mental health status. The volunteers were 560 high school students selected from 8 provinces, but 511 students were analyzed. A was used for evaluation, The questions were composed in consideration of socio-demographic characteristics, physical health condition by CMI, mental condition assessed by a modified Zung's self-rating depression scale (SDS), and the evaluation of food consumption by a 24 hours recall method. The family situations of the subjects were mostly nuclear family(73%), agricultural work(53%), and having religion(53%). Only 3% of the students suffered depression where as 19% showed depression trendencies. The individual factors that affected their mental condition were family farming and consciousness of academic accomplishment. The health status counted with CMI was 6.2/20 scores. The non-depressed trend group of students had a lower score of CMI than others. The overall nutrient intakes of students were low compared with the Korean RDA for adolescents. The Mean Adequacy Ratio(MAR) of nutrient intakes was only $0.45{\pm}0.23$. Iron, vitamin A, and riboflavin intakes were significantly low and correlated with depressive trend score. The result from the regression analysis showed that CMI, study accomplishment, and vitamin A were the most significant factors influencing mental condition. We concluded that Korean rural high-school students were healthy in mental condition and showed lower rates of depression academic. For there more we could say that the intakes of iron and vitamin A also influenced mental health. Findings confirmed the need of becoming hopeful job of farming and better nutritional status. These situations would be necessary for students to ameliorate the quality of rural living.

In order to develop the indicators which evaluate the management effectiveness for the protected forest areas in Korea, candidate indicators were listed based on literature and experts interviews, then questionnaire survey on the experts were conducted. 5 elements of context, planning, input, process, output and outcome and 32 indicators were selected. Context element includes 6 indicators of 1) documentation and assessment of values; 2) documentation and assessment of threats, 3) influence of government policy, 4) related regulations, 5) community cooperation and 6) the structure of management organization. 6 indicators of Planning element were 1) the management objective, 2) protected area design, 3) protected area size and number, 4) representation, 5) standards and categories and 6) management planning. Input element of 3 indicators were 1) management staff, 2) funding, 3) establishment and application of information. Process element were consisted of 1) governance, 2) management guidelines, 3) human resource management, 4) law enforcement, 5) eco-management, 6) disaster management, 7) education program and 8) research and monitoring. The element of outputs and outcomes were 1) accomplishment of plan, 2) accomplishment of program, 3) private land management, 4) threats change, 5) biodiversity change, 6) ecosystem health and vitality, 7) impact on community, 8) international management level and 9) visitors' satisfaction and variation in civil compliant. It is recommended to have further research on evaluation methods development by applying those above developed indicators for the protected forest areas to ensure the practicality of the indicators.
The purpose of this study was to lay emphasis on the importance of a restaurateur's role and qualities as well as to provide the restaurateur information necessary to effectively run a restaurant. To address the purpose, this study analyzed the qualities of a restaurateur and determined the influence they have on the business results, via conducting a survey with 117 restaurateurs from June 11th to June 26th 2011. In summary, male restaurateurs were higher in the vision directivity, desire to learn, accomplishment, challenge and pro-activity than their female counterparts, with a significant difference of p<0.05. According to their ages, the surveyees showed significant differences in the vision directivity (p<0.05), desire to learn (p<0.01), challenge (p<0.01) and pro-activity (p<0.01). In addition, also the survey revealed that the qualities of a restaurateur had a significant influence on financial performance, a sense of satisfaction and business results (p<0.001). The questionnaire resulted in the following: first, the vision directivity (p<0.05) and the challenge (p<0.05) affected the financial performance; second, the challenge had influence on the sense of satisfaction; and last, the vision directivity (p<0.05) and the challenge (p<0.05) had an effect on the business results. Thus, the study concluded that restaurateurs need two qualities: (i) the vision directivity in order to meet their goals and to have a higher business results and (ii) the challenge to try new managing methods in order to cope with the ever-changing environment.
Purpose: This study was designed for understanding their experiences through qualitative research method. There is a growing concern about what the trainee school health teachers experience during teaching practice period, the first experience as a teacher. Method: Data collection was conducted on 2012-2014, using the student teaching practice self-reports. Participants included 43 school health preliminary teacher's teaching practice from G colleges. The study conducted a qualitative analysis by utilizing computer assisted qualitative data analysis software(CAQDAS), NVivo 10. Results: The trainees experienced that tension, excitement and fear was changed to joy, rewarding and gratitude. They defined the practice as a standard of the possibility in the capacity of a future teacher. It was a hard job without a sense of accomplishment. They thought that too much works in school health teacher and thanks to the school and teacher for the teaching opportunities. They think teaching as a hard job to endure without a sense of accomplishment. Conclusion: Findings of this study allow for a comprehensive understanding of trainees. It was investigated the suggestions for the improvement of a teaching practice. The challenge need to the expand school health teacher placement and more research.
This study was designed to examine the factors that influence the burnout of nurses practice healthcare in a hospital setting. Subjects for this study were 245 nurses working at University K hospital in Seoul, Korea. Data for this study was collected from 15 to 27 April, 2002. The data collection instruments used for this study are as follows: Maslach Burnout Inventory(1981), Orientation to Life Questionnaire(Sense of Coherence, SOC) by Antonovsky (1987) and Modified Coping Resources Inventory developed by author. The analysis of the data was completed using the descriptive, ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis, and stepwise multiple regression using the SAS program software. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Total mean score of burnout was 4.0. Mean scores of the subscales were; emotional exhausion 4.7, personalization 3.7, and personal accomplishment 3.4.2. Significant statistical differences according to demographic characteristics of the subjects were found in the variables of age, job position, years of working, perceived job stress, and burnout. 3. Burnout was negatively related to sense of coherence(r=-.65) and coping resources (r=-.40); subscales of SOC of comprehensibility(r=-.57), manageability (r= -.55), and meaningfulness(r= -.52); subscales of coping of self-care(r=-.36), and cognitive coping(r=-.39). 4. Job stress was the highest factor influence burnout. Sixty-one percent of the total variance of burnout was experienced by variables of comprehensibility, meaningfulness, age, self-care, manageability and leisure activities including job stress. In conclusion, it was found that a low level of burnout was related to high scores of SOC and coping resources. Job stress, manageability, and meaningfulness were the highest factors influencing the level of subscale of emotional exhausion, depersonalization, and personal accomplishment. Therefore, it is necessary to search for strategies to promote SOC and coping resources for reducing the level of burnout of nurses.
Current codes recommend large amounts of shear reinforcement for reinforced concrete beam-column joints that causes significant bar congestion. Increase in congestion of shear reinforcement in joint core (connection zone), leads to increase accomplishment problems. The congestion may also lead to diameter limitations on the beam bars relative to the joint dimensions. Using double headed studs instead of conventional closed hoops in reinforced concrete beam-column joints reduces congestion and ensures easier assembly of the reinforcing cage. The purpose of this research is evaluating the efficiency of the proposed reinforcement. In this way, 10 groups of exterior beam-column joints are modeled. Each group includes 7 specimens by different reinforcing details in their joint core. All specimens are modeled by using of ABAQUS and analyzed subjected to cyclic loading. After verification of analytical modeling with an experimental specimen, 3D nonlinear specimens are modeled and analyzed. Then, the effect of amount and arrangement of headed studs on ductility, performance, ultimate strength and energy absorption has been studied. Based on the results, all joints reinforced with double headed studs represent better performance compared with the joints without shear transverse reinforcement in joints core. The behavior of the former is close to joints reinforced with closed hoops and cross ties according to the seismic design codes. By adjusting the arrangement of double-headed studs, the decrease in ductility, performance, ultimate moment resistant and energy absorption reduce to 2.61%, 0.90%, 0.90% and 1.66% respectively compared with the joints reinforced by closed hoops on the average. Since the use of headed studs reduces accomplishment problems, these amounts are negligible. Therefore, use of double-headed studs has proved to be a viable option for reinforcing exterior beam-column joints.
