자녀에 대한 사교육과 체험활동 투자 패턴이 자녀의 학업성취 및 사회관계에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Investment Patterns Private Education and Field Study on Children's Academic Performance and Social Relations)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the patterns of investment on children, analyze the differences in academic performance and social relations by the patterns of investment on children, and variables that influence academic performance and the social relations of children. To achieve such research objectives, the raw data from the 2012 Korean Child and Youth Panel investigation were used for the research. The analytical subjects of this research were the parents and the third-grade students of a middle school and the analytical methods used were: frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, Chi-squared test, ANOVA, Duncan's Multiple Range test, K-mean cluster, and multiple regression analysis depending on the research purpose. The results of the research are as follows. Firstly, as a result formalizing investment pattern on children, there were five patterns of: experience oriented investment, passive experience investment, private education oriented investment, aggressive investment, and passive investment patterns. Secondly, for the patterns of investment on children, the level of academic performance was found to be the highest within the aggressive investment and the experience oriented investment types. The social relation level was found to be the highest with the experience oriented investment, with it being low in private education oriented investment and passive investment patterns. Thirdly, for the factors influencing the academic performance of the children, it was found to be higher in aggressive investment, private education oriented investment, experience oriented investment and passive experience investment compared to passive investment. Some sociological factors were also found to be influential such as mother's age, father's education, sex of children, school area of children, type of house, and income. For the social relation level of the children, the factors of the aggressive investment, passive experience investment, and the experience oriented investment as well as the sociological factors by sex of children and income level are influential.

중학생의 학업성취만족도와 학업열의 사이에서 그릿의 매개효과 (Mediating Effect of Grit between Academic achievement satisfaction of Middle School Students and Academic Engagement)

  • 본 연구는 중학생의 학업성취만족도와 학업열의간의 관계에서 그릿의 매개효과를 파악하는 것을 목적으로한다. 이를 위해 경상남도 창원시 소재의 중학생 575명을 대상으로 학업성취만족도, 학업열의, 그릿에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구분석은 주요변인 간의 상관관계를 분석하기 위하여 상관분석을 실시하였고, 그릿의 매개효과를 파악하기 위해 Baron&Kenny의 분석절차에 따라 회귀분석을 실시하고, 매개효과의 유의성은 Sobel test로 검증하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 상관분석 결과 학업성취만족도와 그릿 및 학업열의는 정적 상관관계를 나타내었다. 둘째, 회귀분석 결과 학업성취만족도와 학업열의사이에서 흥미유지와 노력지속은 모두 부분매개하였다. 이는 학업성취만족도가 중학생의 학업열의에 직접적인 영향을 주고 있을 뿐만 아니라, 그릿을 통해 간접적인 영향이 있음을 의미한다. 끝으로 중학생의 학업열의를 높이기 위해 학업과 관련된 흥미를 향상시키는 교육 및 상담방안과 다양한 학습동기향상프로그램 개발 등 학습상담의 방안을 논의하였다.

연구윤리 환경 변화와 연구윤리 정책동향 (Changing Policy Trends in Research Ethics)

  • The ethical environment in academic research is rapidly changing at a global level. Further, social expectations and public interest toward research ethics are also escalating in Korea. Understanding and applying ethical issues in academic research has become increasingly important. To conform to such changes in the ethical environment, the official journal of the Korean Academy of Health Policy and Management has been consistently establishing and modifying rules and principles regarding research ethics. For instance, we amended the submission guidelines to further address the policies for gendered innovations. For this editorial of the current issue, we would like to organize and share several ethical concerns, which recently gained considerable attention. We hope this review provides scholars with practical guidelines to comprehend and incorporate critical ethical issues into academic research.

일제시대 초기 한의학술잡지의 연구 (Research into academic journal of oriental medicine in the era of early Japanese imperialism)

  • There were four academic journals on oriental medicine, published in the era of early Japanese imperialism. Research into these journals has derived the conclusion that the academic trend at the time were, firstly, the interaction between western and eastern medicine, secondly, researches on "Nai Kyung", "Sang Han Ron" and finally, promotion of development of oriental medicine by looking at the advantages of western medicine.

성찰일지 적용이 이공계 자기주도학습 학생의 학업에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Influence of a Reflection Journal Upon Self Motivated-Learners' Study)

  • The purpose of this paper is to research the effect of a reflection journal on self motivated-learners' study. The learners were divided into experimental and control groups, we carried out the pre- and post- surveys, and compared the groups' academic achievements. As a result, their persistent learning, self-efficacy, learning attitude somewhat improved and their academic achievement as well.

청소년이 지각한 부모의 양육태도 유형: 부모의 삶의 만족도와 자아존중감의 영향력과 유형에 따른 청소년의 학업열의와 학업 무기력 (Parenting Attitudes Profiles as Perceived by Adolescents: The Influence of Parents' Life Satisfaction and Self-Esteem and Academic Engagement and Academic Helplessness of the Adolescents Associated with the Profiles)

  • The study set out to identify the number of types of parental attitude profiles and their characteristics, as perceived by adolescents. The study also examined whether predictor variables (parent life satisfaction and self-esteem) influence parenting attitude profiles and whether these profiles, in turn, influence adolescent academic engagement and academic helplessness. The sample consisted of data on 2,590 adolescents and their parents from the 2018 Korean Children and Youths Panel Survey (KCYPS). The adolescents were in the first grade of middle school. Using Mplus, the author applied latent profile analysis to identify the parenting attitude profiles and predictor and outcome variables associated with these profiles. Three profiles were identified based on major features: (1) coercion-inconsistency (8.3%), (2) general (47.3%), and (3) warmth-autonomy support (44.4%). Parent life satisfaction and self-esteem predicted the classification of the profiles. Also, the parental profiles identified the level of adolescent academic engagement and academic helplessness. The findings have important implications for family policies and practices given the significance of parent psychological status, particularly life satisfaction and self-esteem, on their adolescent children's academic engagement and academic helplessness.

Effect of Exam Anxiety, Academic Stress and Alcohol Dependence on Academic Achievement of Nursing Students

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is that the college age is an important transition period from youth to adulthood. Nursing students are unfamiliar with their field of study and need to adapt to a large amount of academic and practical training, so that they can have a better college life. An attempt was made to determine the effect of exam anxiety, academic stress, and alcohol dependence on the academic achievement of nursing students. Research design, data, and methodology: The subjects of the study were 130 students from all grades who agreed to participate in the study after expressing convenience among students attending the Department of Nursing at a university in Gyeongnam. The data collection period was from August 15 to September 15, 2023. It was about a month. The data investigation was conducted through a self-report survey. Results: Results showed that significant variables included exam anxiety, academic stress, alcohol dependency, parent relationships, peer relationships, and major satisfaction, explaining a total variance of 31.9%. Among these, the most influential factor was academic stress (β=-.352). Conclusions: This study identify factors influencing the academic achievement of nursing college students and hopes to contribute to formulating strategies for their growth and competence development.

청소년이 인식한 부모의 학습관여, 가족건강성 및 학업스트레스의 관계 (The Relationship among Parental Learning Involvement, Family Strengths, and Academic Stress of Adolescents)

  • 본 연구는 청소년의 일반적 특성에 따른 부모의 학습관여, 가족건강성, 학업스트레스의 차이를 살펴보고, 청소년이 지각한 부모의 학습관여와 가족건강성이 학업스트레스에 미치는 영향력을 파악함으로써 부모의 바람직한 역할과 건강한 가족 환경 속에서 청소년들의 학업스트레스 감소 방안을 모색해 보고자 하였다. 첫째, 청소년의 성별에 따라 부모의 학습관여는 학습선택권 부여, 민주적 규칙 제공, 학업 진보 격려 등 부분적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났고 가족건강성은 유의한 차이가 없었으며, 학업스트레스에서는 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 학년에 따른 부모의 학습관여, 가족건강성, 학업스트레스의 경우, 부모의 학습관여와 가족건강성은 유의한 차이가 없었고, 학업스트레스에서는 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 생활수준에 따른 부모의 학습관여, 가족건강성, 학업스트레스의 경우, 부모의 학습관여(학습선택권 부여, 민주적 규칙 제공, 적정한 성과 추구, 학업 정보 제공, 학습관여 전체), 가족건강성, 학업스트레스에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년의 학업스트레스에 영향을 미치는 변인들은 학업 진보 격려, 민주적 규칙 제공, 적정한 성과 추구, 가족건강성 순으로 유의미한 영향력이 나타났으며, 이들 변인들은 학업스트레스를 30% 설명해 주고 있다. 즉, 부모의 학습관여 중 학업에 대한 진보를 격려할수록, 민주적 규칙을 제공할수록, 적정한 성과를 추구할수록, 가족건강성이 높을수록 청소년의 학업스트레스는 낮았다.

대학도서관의 이용자 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Satisfaction of the Academic Library User Service)

  • 본 논문에서는 대학교육과 대학도서관의 상호 관련적 기능을 고찰하고 대학도서관의 운영상의 문제점과 발전계획을 수립하기 위하여 K 대학 학부생을 표본 집단으로 하여 설문지를 통하여 이용자 만족도를 조사 분석하였다. 만족도에 나타난 내용은 이용자의 요구사항의 달성도로 보고 대학도서관 개선책을 모색하는 기초 자료로 활용할 수 있도록 하였으며 대학도서관의 발전적 운영계획을 세우는데 중요한 평가척도로 활용할 수 있도록 하였다.

제7차 교육과정을 이수한 공과대학 신입생의 학업성취도 연구 (A Study on the Academic Achievements of Engineering College Students Educated by the $7^{th}$ National Education Process)

  • The 7th National Education Process, implemented in 2004, features student-oriented, selective educational programs with a wide range of optional subjects. In 2005, reflecting this revised National Education Process, the College Scholastic Ability Test began allowing individual students to choose the subjects for examination they would like to take. As a result, the deviations of the college freshmen's academic achievements in some subjects have noticeably widened. This study shows academic abilities of the students on some subjects by comparing the results of 2008 College Scholastic Ability Test with that of the Basic Academic Ability Evaluation Test for freshmen in engineering college of Hongik university. Lastly, this paper presents some improvement plans in order to better accommodate students with academic achievement levels lower than what is expected by the university.
