Based on author's practice of instructing Chinese gifted students to join the Chinese Mathematics Olympic (CMO), the paper adopted test analysis model of the Scholastic Aptitude Test of Mathematics (SAT-M), tested mathematics ability of 212 mathematical gifted students to join the CMO, applied correlation analysis and factor analysis and proposed the mathematics ability structure in Chinese gifted students including comprehensive operation ability, logic thinking ability, abstract generalization ability, spatial imagination ability, memory ability, transfer ability and intuition thinking ability. And it analyzed the expression form of these abilities respectively and gave some suggestion on mathematics teaching about gifted Chinese students.

This paper aims to investigate the effect of anticipatory motion in Wall E (2008). For the purpose of the study, first of all, an overall discussion on the definition and role of anticipation presented through the related literature review. Based on this, the present study analyzed the functions of anticipatory movements of the main characters, Wall E and EVE in 29 scenes. As a result, this paper found that anticipation is involved in expressions of humanity, thought process, utterance and intonation, the degree of emotion and energy, reinforcement of the character's intention, and biological response within the film. Overall, these findings show that anticipation takes an important part in giving the illusion of life to the characters throughout the movie, which may imply that anticipation can be beneficial for characters with abstract form or limited modality. The ultimate goal of this study is to propose that the animation principles can be used as a tool to analyze character animation and can be applied academically or industrially to other fields such as artificial intelligence.

In this paper, we form the basis of the abstract theory for constructing the $K{\ddot{u}}nneth$ spectral sequence for a complex of Banach spaces. As the category of Banach spaces is not abelian, several difficulties occur and hinder us from applying the usual method of homological algebra directly. The most notable facts are the image of a morphism of Banach spaces is not necessarily a Banach space, and also the closed summand of a Banach space need not be a topological direct summand. So, we consider some conditions and categorical terms that fit the category of Banach spaces to modify the familiar method of homological algebra.

In some wireless sensor networks, the sensor nodes are required to be located sparsely at designated positions over a wide area, introducing the problem of adding minimum number of relay nodes to interconnect the sensor nodes. The problem finds its form in literature: the Minimum number of Steiner Points. Since it is known to be NP-hard, this paper proposes an approximation scheme to estimate the minimum number of relay nodes through the properties of the abstract from. Reducing the number of nodes in a sensor network, the amount of data exchange over the net will be far decreased.

Abstract-Crosshead bearing in two-stroke marine diesel engine is operated under quite severe condition since the load on the bearing is sybject to the loading in a unidirectional and the sliding speed is very slow and oscillatory. So it is very difficult to form oil film and maintain the load. In this paper, two types of bearing are compared. One has large sized oil pocket and the seleted as multi-small oil grooves. Bearing clearance, oil inlet oressure and bearing types are selected as analysis parameters. Loci of journal center are presented to compare several cases. It is found that bearing clearance and shape affect to minimum film thickness.

In this paper, we investigate sufficient conditions for stability of the abstract linear Hahn difference equations of the form $$D_{q,{\omega}}x(t)=A(t)x(t)+f(t),\;t{\in}I$$, and $$D^2{q,{\omega}}x(t)+A(t)D_{q,{\omega}}x(t)+R(t)x(t)=f(t),\;t{\in}I$$, where $A,R:I{\rightarrow}{\mathbb{X}}$, and $f:I{\rightarrow}{\mathbb{X}}$. Here ${\mathbb{X}}$ is a Banach algebra with a unit element e and I is an interval of ${\mathbb{R}}$ containing ${\theta}$.

ABSTRACT -- Recently, a method of magnetically-enhanced discharge columns is considered to increase the luminous efficacy of discharge lamps, which is based upon the face that the diffusion motion of charged particles in the discharge column strongly depends on the applied magnetic fields. This study investigates the effect of applied transverse magnetic fields on the light output of low-pressure Hg-Ar discharge. As a result, it is found that the electric field in the positive column increases according to the applied megnetic field, which causes an increase in the total light output. And this effect is much more pronounced upon the spectral line originating form the higher levels.

I'm going to endow with any characters to the mixed history of Korean Contemporary Architecture, and rearrange the relations between motive of transfer and the ideology which is concluded in expression through considering the transitional period which is based on the modernity, tradition and additional area such as ideology, politics, technology, literature, sculpture and painting etc. This abstract explain only characters of revivalism in Korean Contemporary Architecture. Revivalism have some complexed nationalistic leanings. Our transitional succession returned to revivalism that is limitted by its form. Of course, that is dued to complexed operating such as the Ideal Nationalism against the severance of our culture which had been done by Japan, the Superior Nationalism which is developed by antagonism of our own ideology was dued to dividing into sections of our own country, and the Resistant Nationalism against foreign culture.

The purpose of this study was to examine the possibility of application of American cohousing concepts for the development of apartment housing in Korea. The fieldwork included two American cohousing communities of 37 households, extensive interviews, questionnaire, and evaluation of site planning and development process. This paper looked at the real and potential benefits of cohousing in respect of land-use efficiency, resource usage, and the quality of social relationship within the residents. The paper suggests that the abstract notion of a sense of community and concrete issues of housing form are inseparably connected. The paper goes on to suggest that the educational program and the support from the government also are needed for the development of sustainable community.
