In this study, the researcher tried to present the groundwork to prepare the oriental medical yangseng plan for the future obesity with the comparison between yangseng level and the obesity of workers. The researcher made up the questionnaire which asks the general character, health-related character and yangseng level, projected among 560 people. All collected material was analyzed by SPSS and tested by T-test and ANOVA. 1. The general yangseng level average is 3.27, morality yangseng 3.90, sleep yangseng 3.39, mind yangseng 3.31, sex life yangseng 3.30, exercise yangseng 3.15, activities and rest yangseng 3.08, diet yangseng 2.94, seasonal yangseng 2.84. The highest is morality yangseng and seasonal yangseng is the lowest. 2. In the aspect of yangseng level: Having a spouse, Non-smoking, Regular exercising, Sufficient sleeping have higher yangseng levels. 3. Obesity related index is changing into the higher level when he/she is older, more paid, more job experience, more education background but less metabolic calory. And drinking and regular exercising have relativity with body composition analysis. 4. After comparing yangseng level with body composition analysis, we can easily find that the more visceral fat, the higher WHR has a high yangseng level. The more mineral also has a high mind yangseng and a low diet yangseng. The visceral fat level has a high yangseng level when higher morality yangseng and mind yangseng are getting higher and higher. And sex life yangseng shows that the highest yangseng level is from 9-10 visceral fat and the lowest yangseng level is from below 4 visceral fat. The higher WHR, the higher morality, mind and sleep yangseng. The heavier, the lower diet yangseng. The mind yangseng was very high when body fat rate was higher. The more body fat, the higher morality yangseng. The higher yangseng, when we have more muscle. Yangseng level and obesity of laborer has a close relationship with individual character and daily habits. Also, relevance can be easily found between yangseng level and obesity. Now the researcher came into the conclusion that we need to control over laborers' health and prevention of their obesity.

This study was explore the level of Yangseng by certain elderly people in Dalian, china. The subject of this study is(randomly) selected Dalian residents over 65 years-old. We used a formultaed questionnaire for this research during the period from October 2004 to November. 266 subjects in total answered to the questionnaire. The analyses are as follows: 1. Man does more Exercise Yangseng than woman. Elderly with spouse has better Total of Yangseng, Exercise Yangseng, Seasonal Yangseng, Sex life Yangseng than single elderly. Compare to elderly living with family other than their spouse, single elderly has better Total of Yangseng, Diet Yangseng, Activities and rest Yangseng, Exercise Yangseng, Sex life yangseng. 2. Educated elderly has better life than illiterate in every aspects except Diet Yangseng and Seasonal Yangseng. Elderly who does not belive in any religion has better Activities and rest Yangseng and Seasonal Yangseng. Religious elderly has better sleep yangseng than irreligioius elderly. Elderly with occupation has better Total of Yangseng, Activities and rest Yangseng, Exercise Yangseng and Sex life Yangseng. 3. Elderly who support himself of the living expense has better Sleep Yangseng, and elderly who support himself with his sons and daughters has better Morality Yangseng, Exercise Yangseng, Seasonal Yangseng and Sex life Yangseng. Elderly who has time to spare has better life than elderly who has bo leisure in Total of Yangseng and other 8 sub-factors.

This study aims at grasping the relativity between laborers' yangseng level and stress so as to present the groundwork for preventive oriental medicine approach in industrial health. The researcher prepared the questionnaire on general character, - health-related yangseng level and chose 632 people to execute Autonomic balance test through heartbeat change. The collected material was analyzed by SPSS and tested by T-test, ANOVA The general yangseng level average is 3.27, morality yangseng 3.91, sleep yangseng 3.39, mind yangseng 3.32, sex life yangseng 3.29, exercise yangseng 3.14, activities and rest yangseng 3.07, diet yangseng 2.95, seasonal yangseng 2.84. The highest is morality yangseng and seasonal yangseng is the lowest. In the aspect of yangseng level: Having a spouse, Non-smoking, Non-drinking, Regular exercising, Sufficient sleeping have higher yangseng levels. In Autonomic balance test, age from 35 to 40 has the highest autonomic activity and job period from 5 years to 10 years has the highest stress resistance. Non-smokers have high autonomic activity and stress resistance. Further, have low autonomic balance, stress index and fatigue strength. In the case of regular exercising person, he/she has high autonomic activity and stress resistance with low stress index. Regarding sleeping time, autonomic balance is the highest when he/she sleeps less than 6 hours. Stress resistance is the highest when he/she sleeps 7 hours and stress index is the highest when he/she sleeps 6 hours. After comparing the relativity between yangseng level autonomic balance test, only exercise yangseng has plus factor on autonomic activity and stress resistance and minus factor on stress index and fatigue strength. Yangseng level has been affected by individual character and daily habits. Also stress is more influenced by daily habits than by individual character. We can find the relativity of exercise yangseng between yangseng and stress which suggests that we need to take measures to win over stresses in individual health in the near future.

The present study aims to provide efficient regimen by means of the Oriental medicine tool to measure Yangseng developed to fit the situation of Korea. For this purpose, the elderly people aged older than 65 were selected and their level of Yangseng was compared and analyzed depending on their perception of health. From the study, following conclusions could be drawn: 1. The total subject of study were 763 consisting mostly of the illiterate and spoused with disease but without leisure activities. 2. Most of the subjects were found to have little confidence with their health. With regard to their level of Yangseng, higher points were rated in morality yangseng, followed by activities & rest, diet, mind yangseng, sleep, seasonal yangseng, exercise and sex life in order. 3. By socio-demographic characters for the group with confidence in health, there were more male than female, with spouse, disease and leisure activities currently. In the group without confidence in health, there were more female, without spouse and leisure activity but with disease presently. 4. As for the level of Yangseng in the group with confidence in health, higher points were recorded in morality yangseng, followed by activities & rest, mind yangseng, diet, sleep, exercise and sex life in order. In case of the group without confidence in health, higher points were recorded in morality yangseng, followed by activities & rest, diet, mind yangseng, sleep, exercise and sex life in order. From the above outcomes, it would be necessary to motivate the subjects to have a renewed concept for health and efficient regimen. Continued and repeated eforts should be made to fill the gap in the study using the tool to measure Yangseng of the elderly people.
The purpose of this research is to seek for efficient method of health improvement program for the old and to offer basic material for the development of community's public health service. This study investigated into the yangseng life level of the old and the factors which affect their yangseng life, and was to offer basic materials for oriental medicine-based health improvement plan which is appropriate for each community. The 818 surveys were conducted upon the old who are above 65 and who live in Jeollabukdo, and the results from the survey are as follows ; 1. The rural area showed more percentage of old people, the old who live alone and who have job compared to urban area. More people in rural area were found to live at their own expense. Additionally, there were more people who had high education in urban area and who have disease in rural area. 2. The total yangseng level of recipients was 94.20, and the average was 3.25. The average of urbanite was 3.26 and it was 3.23 for who live in rustic area, but there found no significant difference. All the old live in both urban area and rural area showed the highest score in morality yangseng and lowest in sex-life yangseng. 3. There found no difference upon regions, but the recipients show high yangseng level when they are male, have spouse, live with them, have factors including high education background, job, religion and hobby, or have confidence in their health. They also show high yangseng level when they do not have any disease in progress. 4. According to the results of general traits and yangseng level of each category, the old who live in urban area show higher exercise yangseng level than the one in rural area, and there is no significant difference upon the region in other categories. There were some cases which general traits and regional characteristics mutually affected each other. In conclusion, the yangseng level of the old is affected by individual traits and habits rather than the regions in which they live. The old who live in rural area are required to focus on exercise more, since the exercise yangseng level of them were lower than the ones of urban area. Moreover, there were some cases which general traits and regional characteristics mutually affected each other, so it requires further in-depth study about the correlation.
Objectives : To explore the causes that affect the level of Yangseng(養生) certain elderly people.(Level of Yanseng; The oriental medicine tool to measure Yanseng developed to fit the situation of korea) Methods : For this purpose, characteristics, Life Satisfaction and Activities of Daily Living were adopted as independent variables and analyzed statistically. Out of questionnaires distributed to the old people aged 65 or more living in Jeonbuk province, 824 replies were collected from April to June 2004 and processed for an analysis. Results : The analysis revealed that the higher points old persons tend to score in Total of Yangseng, the more they are inclined to be Life satisfaction, the higher K-ADL they get and the longer they have leisure. Rather old men than women or rather those who live with family than those who do not have more possibility to record higher scores of Total of Yangseng(R Square=0.365). There was greater possibility that the higher points persons can get in Morality Yangseng(R Square=0.200), Mind Yangseng(R Square=0.173), Diet Yangseng(R Square=0.139), Exercise Yangseng(R Square=0.353), Sleep Yangseng(R Square=0.187), Seasonal Yangseng(R Square=0.107), Sex life Yangseng(R Square=0.199), the more they tend to be Life satisfaction. It was revealed from the analysis that the better care old people pay to Activities & Rest Yangseng, the higher K-ADL they get(R Square=0.186). Conclusions : Front the above results, it may be concluded that approaches of Oriental medicine can contribute to maintaining and promoting health as well as preventing and controlling disease for old people who are in greater needs for proper health care in the aged period.
Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the practice level of Yangseng according to nicotine dependence. Methods : The subjects of this study were 137 male smokers in their thirties and forties, who visited Wonmi Public Health Center. They were evaluated with Fagerstorm's test for nicotine dependence (FTND) and Tool in Measuring Yangseng (TMY). By FTND score, they were divided into three groups; the mild nicotine dependent group, moderate group and severe group. Results : In TMY score, there were statistically significant differences in the characteristics of Diet, Activity & Rest, Sleep and total score among the three groups. The value of FTND comparing the values of Mind, Diet, Activity & Rest, Sleep and total score in this study resulted in negative correlations, which showed statistical significance. Conclusions : The above results suggest that there are significant relations between nicotine dependence and the practice level of Yangseng. These results can be used for planning a smoking cessation program and a Yangseng health promotion program based on Korean traditional medicine.
Objective : This research was done to discover whether or not workers' health related quality of life(HRQOL) depends on their own Yangseng(養生) level, which is also known as one's care of one's health, and also if their HRQOL is affected by the level, to what extent. The subjects of the study were blue-collar workers of a workplace. Method : Blue-collar workers of a workplace were asked to fill out their pre-organized questionaires given to them by their company as a process of health examination. The questionaires carried questions regarding their levels of Yangseng and their HRQOL. For the purpose of the research, a total of 961 data were selected from the questionaires filled out by the blue-collar workers and then analyzed. Result : Each workers's level of Yangseng becomes high or low by one or all of general characteristics. With regard to Yangseng level according to health-related lifestyle were found to have a relatively higher level of Yangseng. With reference to HRQOL according to general characteristics, those in the 20s were found to have a physical summary scale(PCS), but no significant difference was found in the other scales. As regards the quality of life(QOL) according to health-related lifestyle, those who exercise regularly were found to have a relatively higher PCS, while no smokers, those who do not drink alcoholic, and those who sleep at least seven hours a day were found to have a relatively higher mental summary scale(MCS). As to the relation between the level of Yangseng and HRQOL, the level of Yangseng was found to have an interrelation with PCS and MCS in terms of its degree. Statistics also show that each area of Yangseng level has a significant impact on the two qualities-PCS and MCS. Conclusion : One who has a higher level of Yangseng was found to be the one who enjoys a higher HRQOL. Specially, the three kinds of habits that are good for good health -non-smoking, no drinking and seeping seven hours a day- were found to be able to improve the QOL. In this respect, those who want to stay healthy are recommended to cultivate a healthier habit of living.

제 19 조 (관할 법원)
서비스 이용으로 발생한 분쟁에 대해 소송이 제기되는 경우 민사 소송법상의 관할 법원에 제기합니다.
