XML DTD는 XML문서에 대한 단순한 형태의 표현을 정의하고 있어서 XML 문서의 구조를 정의하는데 많은 어려움이 있다. 그래서 XML DTD의 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 W3C에서는 2001년 XML 스키마를 표준안으로 채택하여 사용을 권고하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 XML DTD를 이용한 XML DBMS의 단점을 극복하기 위하여, W3C의 표준으로 채택된 XML 스키마를 기반으로 관계형 데이터베이스를 이용하여 XML DBMS를 설계 하였다.

Web development and Internet technology development bring many kinds of works to web. This is the main reason why XML, document standard is popular. XML in web can be used to express document template or standard. XML with java can be more powerful and general. For example, XML can be used to transmit data and to print data into the screen using Ajax in JSP(Java Server Page) and to make interfaces in android, which is useful to reduce development cycle. However, XML is not easy to learn for the novice. In this paper, we propose the easy and effective way to reduce the learning curve of XML and to make and use XML documents. For the purpose, we suggest template base XML document generation and we design and implement XML document generator based on Template. XML document generator of template-based provides user interface and layout of XML document. So, users can generate XML document easily and effectively.

XML 스키마가 2001년 5월 W3C의 공식 표준안으로 확정되고, XSL과 Xpath, Namespace등의 XML 관련 기술이 발전됨에 따라 XML은 새로운 문서교환의 표준이 되어가고 있다. XML은 다양한 문서의 구조를 표현할 수 있기 때문에 ebXML, RosettaNet, BizTalk들이 e-Business 부분에서 XML을 핵심기술로 사용하고 있다. B2B 전자상거래 시스템에서 업무를 자동화하기 위해서는 표준의 XML 문서가 필요하다. 각 기업들의 내부 문서를 외부기업의 자동화 시스템에서 처리하기 위해서는 문서의 정보손실 없이 외부기업의 문서 형태로 변환하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 자바 서블릿을 기반으로 XML 문서의 변환하여, 안전한 문서교환을 제공하는 XML 시스템을 설계 구현하였다

This research has designed and implemented the standard conformance test system for e-Business solutions that supports the ebXML, which is currently being focused on as the leading electronic commerce framework. The adoption of standards such as ebXML is probably the best way to achieve interoperability among electronic commerce systems, and more and more e-Business solutions around the world are supporting ebXML. This research primarily discusses the concept and needs for the standard conformance tests on e-Business solutions. The standard conformance test system is developed based on the detailed specifications of the ebXML framework. This system was used to test commercial e-Business solutions supporting ebXML. The system implemented in this research will provide a significant basis for the standard conformance certification of e-Business solutions, and could also provide clear decision criteria for e-Business solutions currently in market, thus activate the overall e-Business market.

본 논문은 XML을 이용하여 통합적인 문제를 생성, 검색 및 교육에 적용할 수 있는 XML기반 문제은행 시스템의 설계 및 구축에 관한 연구이다. 표준화된 문제를 학습자에게 제공하기 위하여 문제의 표준 유형을 분석하고 이를 XML DTD로 설계하였다. 설계된 표준안을 적용하여 초등학교 수학 교육용 문제를 추출하였으며 관계형 DB를 이용하여 문제은행을 구축하였다. 또한 XML파서와 문제 해석기를 구현하여 표준화된 문제를 온라인으로 학습자에게 제공하였다. 시스템의 활용 결과 온라인 교육에 필요한 평가용 문항을 학습자에게 적절하게 제공하고 웹 상의 비표준화된 문제들을 통합시키는데 매우 효율적으로 적용시킬 수 있음을 보였다.

This paper presents an XML based standard specification of remote control protocol for home appliances. In the framework level, the XML protocol provides a useful bridge between services and platforms. The proposed protocol has been implemented into a personal video recorder for remote recording service. The results imply the potential of global standards for remote control by its minimum overhead in network and processor. The proposed XML is designated RCXML in this paper.

인터넷에 기반하고 있는 전자상거래에서 무엇보다도 중요한 기술 요소는 거래 정보를 교환하는데 있어서 안정성을 보장하는 것이다. 이러한 보안 문제를 위한 다양한 기술들이 표준으로 제시되고 있다. 그 중에서도 XML(eXtensible Markup Language)이 전자상거래 시스템의 문서 표준으로 다양한 분야에서 사용되면서 XML 보안이 새로운 분야로 등장하였다. 본 논문에서는 웹 서비스(Web Services) 기반의 전자상거래 시스템에서 거래 정보의 안전한 교환을 위한 XML 보안 모델을 제안한다. XML 문서에 대한 보안을 이루기 위해서 XML 서명, XML 암호화와 XML 키 관리 체계가 기존의 보안과 다른 차이점을 제시하고 고유 특성에 바탕을 둔 새로운 구조를 제시한다. 특히 전자상거래에 필요한 프로세스 관리 시스템과의 통합을 이룰 수 있는 방안을 제시한다.

XML은 표준화와 운영체제 중립적이라는 특성 때문에 전자상거래에서 중요한 위치를 차지하며, 이미 많은 전자상거래 시스템에서 이용하고 있다. B2B 전자상거래분야를 위해서는 기업간 비즈니스에 대한 업무 규칙과 절차가 표준화되어야 한다. 그러나 기업들이 표준화 된 XML문서를 사용하는 것이 아니라 기업의 실정에 맞게 시스템을 구축하여 기업간XML문서 전달을 하고 있어, 이에 따라 많은 문제점이 나타나고 있다. 이러한 요구를 기반으로 많은 조직과 기업에서는 XML을 기반으로 하는 전자상거래 표준화 작업을 프레임 워크 형태로 진행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 TCP/IP 기반의 메시징 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였으며, 시스템을 모듈별로 설계를 하였기 때문에 시스템의 확장성이 용이하다. 본 메시징 시스템을 전자상거래 시스템에 적용하여 효율적으로 이용할 수 있을 것이다.

ebXML (Electronic Business using extensible Markup language), sponsored by UN/CEFACT and OASIS, is a modular suite of specifications that enables enterprises of any size and in any geographical location to conduct business over the Internet. Using ebXML, companies now have a standard method to exchange business messages, conduct trading relationships, communicate data In common terms and define and resistor business processes. It is the mission of ebXML that provides an open XML-based infrastructure enabling the global use of electronic business information in an interoperable, secure and consistent manner by all parties for creating a single e1ectronic electronic market. This paper briefly overviews the concept of core component, context, assembly rule and context rule. Then, It designs by standard specifications of ebXML core component commonly used in an industry and among industries, and assembles business messages by using XML schema. Therefore, it suggests the mechanism which effectively exchanges business messages among the trading partners. This paper designs core component by using only three business messages of retail industry : orders, dispatch report, sales report.

급속한 과학 기술의 발달로 인해 상호간의 정보교환의 요구는 증가하게 되었으나 서로 다른 시스템 환경으로 인해 정보 교환에 많은 문제점이 발생하였다. XML 기반의 정보 교환은 이를 위한 해결하기 위한 방안이며 여러 연구자들이 공동으로 의견을 교환하여 작성해야 하는 표준 문서의 관리에 XML을 적용하면 매우 효과적이다. 본 논문에서는 표준 문서 제정 과정에서 이루어지는 문서의 공유 및 상호 교환을 보다 생산적이며 효율적으로 제공하기 위해 기존 시스템 환경의 변화 없이 차세대 인터넷 문서의 표준인 XML을 기반으로 문서를 교환하며 이를 효과적으로 저장, 검색, 관리 할 수 있는 시스템 모델을 설계 및 구현하였다.
