In Korea, WAP and ME have been used for wireless Internet services. Two methods are different in markup languages used, therefore contents providers have to use two different markup languages to provide an internet service. To solve this problem, we present a design and implementation of a markup language conversion module between WML and M-HTML.

Channel of distribution of contents of digitalised multimedia contents is changing in form passed directly to consumer from manufacturer through digital network of high speed. Together, diffusion of various digital equipment that do is changing Past multimedia consumption structure with the wonderful speed so that can consume easily digital contents. Specially, Multimedia Personal Computer and fast diffusion of a digital television are acting role such as catalyst that promote easy purchase and consumption of multimedia contents of good qualify. However, this system is no method that can sell digital contents and express right that original owner for the contents can insist nothing but consume. Because consumer can distribute to another person copying contents that buy because of and user can distribute producing ashes again according to necessary field by oneself as well as, can lose meaning for original contents. In this paper, Text editing system for XrML (extensible Rights Markup Language) that describe about integrity of message and entity authentication in addition to necessary rights, fees, condition etc. and this to do fetters XML (eXtensible Markup Language) for copyright protection for digital contents in treatise that see hereupon and use digital contents design and embody.

XML (extensible Markup Language)은 확장성과 유연성을 통해 인터넷 상에서 데이타를 표현하고 교환하는 중요한 표준으로 자리잡고 있으며, XML 기반의 문서의 양도 증가하고 있다. 이러한 XML의 광범위한 사용에 따라 XML 저장 및 검색 시스템의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 방대한 XML 데이타를 효율적으로 처리하고 검색하기 위해 XML 문서를 관계형 데이타베이스에 저장하고. 질의 언어로 XQuery를 사용하는 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 또한 다양한 XQuery의 실행을 통하여 제안한 시스템의 성능을 평가한다.

XML(extensible Markup Language)는 웹상에서 문서를 표현하고 교환하기 위한 표준으로 자리 잡았다. XML 문서는 자체적으로 민감성의 등급이 다른 정보를 포함할 수 있는 구조를 가지고 있으므로 XML 문서에 대한 특정 사용자 그룹의 선택적인 접근 및 공유를 위한 방법이 반드시 필요하다. 이를 위해서는 XML문서에 대한 접근제어 정책을 규정하고 수행하기 위한 방법과 메커니즘이 요구된다. 또한, XML 문서에 사용되는 접근제어 메커니즘은 사용자가 소유하고 있는 권한부여 정보에 의존하여 문서의 안전하고 선택적인 배포가 가능해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 XML 문서의 안전하고 선택적인 접근문제를 해결하기 위하여 RBAC를 응용한 메커니즘을 제안한다.

Location-based services or LBS refer to value-added service by processing information utilizing mobile user location. With the rapidly increasing wireless Internet subscribers and world LBS market, the various location based applications are introduced such as buddy finder, proximity and security services. As the killer application of the wireless Internet, the LBS have reconsidered technology about location determination technology, LBS middleware server for various application, and diverse contents processing technology. However, there are fears that this new wealth of personal location information will lead to new security risks, to the invasion of the privacy of people and organizations. This paper describes a novel security approach on open LBS service to validate certificate based on current LBS platform environment using XKMS (XML Key Management Specification) and SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language), XACML (extensible Access Control Markup Language) in XML security mechanism.

GML(Geography Markup Language)은 XML(extensible Markup Language)의 장점을 이용하여 지리 데이터의 저장과 전송을 위해 OGC(Open GIS Consortium)에서 제안되었다 이러한 GML은 웹 환경의 발전에 따라 지리 정보 통합을 위해 널리 이용되고 있으나. GML 문서에 대한 지리 데이터 검색 기술은 미흡하다. 최근 W3C(World Wide Web Consortium)에서는 XML 문서로부터 데이터를 추출하기 위한 표준 질의어로 XQuery를 추천하기 위한 작업 초안(working draft) 상태에 있다. 그러나 이러한 XML 질의어는 지리 정보의 추출에 대한 고려는 하고 있지 않다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 지리 정보를 포함하고 있는 GML 문서를 기반으로 지리 정보를 검색. 추출할 수 있는 GML Query language인 GQuery를 제안하고자 한다. 본 논문의 GQuery는 서로 이질적인 공간 데이터베이스의 데이터를 통할하여. 통합된 문서내의 지리정보를 추출하기 위한 사용자 인터페이스로 이용할 수 있다.

XML(extensible Markup Language)은 W3C(World Wide Web Consortium)가 Web 상에서 Web 문헌 출판시 요구사항을 처리하고 Web 기술을 분산 문헌 처리의 영역으로 확장하도록 하기 위해서 현재의 HTML의 기능을 뛰어 넘는 새로운 개념으로 개발한 것이다. XML은 SGML 보다 학습, 이용, 구현이 용이하고 HTML보다 확장성, 조직화, 타당성 등의 장점을 가지고 있어 다양한 Web 문헌관리에 적합하다. 본 연구에서는 XML 기반의 Web 문헌관리시스템의 주요 모듈을 설계하고 시스템의 구성요소 및 주요 기능을 논의하며, 현재까지 개발된 XML 도구들을 소개한다.

Most of companies related to the area of B2B electronic commerce are making their efforts to innovate their existing business process into new designed process. XML-based electronic data interchange has potential to impact on reshaping the traditional EDI systems. This study intends to suggest a prototype of XML-based electronic data interchange using unified modeling language, with a case study applied in Korean automobile industry. In order to accomplish the research objectives, we employed UML as its standard modeling language, In this study, four diagramming techniques such as use case diagram, sequence diagram, class diagram, component diagram among eight modeling techniques are used for analyzing hierarchical business process. As a result of applying UML methodology, we design and develop XML/EDI applications efficiently. Our field test applied to Korean automobile industry shows that data modeling to design XML application using UML is better than existing methodologies in representing object schema of XML data and in extension and interoperability of systems.

Medical domain is very applicable for multi-agent system because medical information systems need much knowledge and close relationship with medical staff, In this paper, we describe design and implementation of an intelligent medical multi-agent platform that provides medical images'information services. This platform supports a physical environment that medical agents can be deployed following FIPA(Foundation for Intelligent Physical Agent)\`s agent management reference model. To use a variety of components on Windows, COM(Common Object Model) interfaces and XML(extensible Markup Language) for encoding ACL(Agent Communication Language) are used for multi-agent communications. Since many kinds of diverse and close relationships with medical staff) are essential, a medical staff is conceptualized as an agent and integrated with multi-agent systems. Also it provides an infrastructure applicable to share necessary knowledge between human agents and software agents in order to make intelligent medical information services easier.

최근 XML(extensible Markup Language)의 장점에 대한 인식이 확산되면서 이를 이용한 응용들의 개발이 진행되고 있다. 웹의 지속적인 발전은 웹 사용자의 증가와 다양한 요구로 서버의 과부하 등 여러 가지 문제점을 낳고 있다. 기존의 웹 상에서 구현된 학습평가 시스템에서는 웹서버에서 DB를 연동한 클라이언트-서버 관계에서 클라이언트인 학습자는 웹브라우저를 이용해 학습하여 왔다. 본 논문에서는 XML을 이용한 실시간 학습 평가 시스템을 제안함으로 웹 상에서 DB 연동 없이 데이타를 처리함으로서 가상교육외 문제점이었던 학습자들의 대기시간과 교사의 과중한 업무부담을 해소하는데 효과가 있음을 보여줌으로써 XML의 장점을 확인한다.
