2-TYPE HYPERSURFACES SATISFYING ⟨Δx, x - x0⟩ = const.

  • Let M be a connected n-dimensional submanifold of a Euclidean space $E^{n+k}$ equipped with the induced metric and ${\Delta}$ its Laplacian. If the position vector x of M is decomposed as a sum of three vectors $x=x_1+x_2+x_0$ where two vectors $x_1$ and $x_2$ are non-constant eigenvectors of the Laplacian, i.e., ${\Delta}x_i={\lambda}_ix_i$, i = 1, 2 (${\lambda}_i{\in}R$) and $x_0$ is a constant vector, then, M is called a 2-type submanifold. In this paper we proved that a connected 2-type hypersurface M in $E^{n+1}$ whose postion vector x satisfies ${\langle}{\Delta}x,x-x_0{\rangle}=c$ for a constant c, where ${\langle}$, ${\rangle}$ is the usual inner product in $E^{n+1}$, is of null 2-type and has constant mean curvature and scalar curvature.

정류방식에 따른 진단용 X-선 장치의 출력비교 (A Comparative Study on Output of Four Type Diagnostic X-ray Equipments)

  • There are 4 types of equipment in diagnostic radiography. These are single phase, three phase, inverter type and condenser type X-ray generators. It is very confusing to make an adequate exposure factor and to know the usage of different type of X-ray generators. In this experiment, I explored a comparative study of outputs in 4 different type of X-ray units. I expect that this experiment could be helpful for manufacturer to make both the X-ray equipment better, In terms of Ideal exposure factors, thereby reducing the patient dose. Experimental results are as follow : 1) X-ray output The ratio of X-ray output of single, three phase and inverter type of X-ray generator was 1 : 1.6 : 2 without absorber and 1 : 2 : 2.6 with 20 mm aluminium absorber. 2) Beam quality The X-ray beam quality of single phase generator was proved to be softer than three phase and inverter type of generators by 0.4 mmAL and 0.55 mmAl HVL respectively. 3) Reproducibility Linearity of X-ray output Retroducibility of X-ray output met the regulation below CV 0.05 and linearity also met the regulation below 0.1 in 4 types of diagnostic X-ray generators. 4) The comparison of incident dose Three phase X-ray generator was 20% higher than two other X-ray generators in radiation dose to make same film density.

NONVANISHING OF A PLURIGENUS OF A THREEFOLD OF GENERAL TYPE

  • When X is a threefold of general type, it is well known h/sup 0/(X, O/sub X/(nK/sub X/)) ≥ 1 for a sufficiently large n. When X(O/sub X/) 〉 0, it is not easy to obtain such an integer n. A. R. Fletcher showed that h/sup 0/(X, O/sub X/(nK/sub X/)) ≥ 1 for n = 12 when X(O/sub X/)=1. We introduce a technique different from A. R. Fletcher's. Using this technique, we also prove the same result as he showed and have a new result.

  • Most X-ray generator had been used do rectifier type transformer high tension generator which is supplied in a clinical diagnosis. But it is difficult to miniaturize and become light weight. Also, because the ripple rate of tube voltage is high, X-ray generating efficiency is very low. Therefore, it is supplied gradually from abroad being developed high tension generator for inverter type X-ray generator which use semi-conductor switching element for electric power that have high speed switching ability to solved these problem. But, semi-conductor element of big capacity are used by X-ray tube's big consumption power and diffusion is difficult in the small size hospital because production cost is ascending by doing digital control through DSP and product price becomes expensive. Therefore, in this paper, design and manufactured CR type voltage divider for feedback control of tube voltage of high frequency resonance type inverter and high tension transformer for high frequency to apply economical diffusion type X-ray generator which have wide output voltage and load extent. It is Proved do X-ray generator and stability of X-ray tube's output characteristics through an experiment.

The Effect of Solvent on the Dipole Moments for Organotin(Ⅳ) Complexes

  • The effect of solvent on the dipole moments for (chloromethyl) stannanes has been investigated by applying EHT calculation for the isomers of trigonal bipyramidal Sn(Ⅳ)$Cl_4X$ and $Cl_n$Sn(Ⅳ) $(CH_2Cl)_{4-n}$, octahedral Sn(Ⅳ)$Cl_42X$ and $Cl_nSn$(Ⅳ)$(CH_2Cl)_{4-n}$ 2X type complexes in dioxane and ethylacetate solutions (X: dioxane or ethylacetate). For Sn(Ⅳ)$Cl_4$ in dioxane solution, the calculated dipole moment for the trigonal bipyramidal Sn(Ⅳ)$Cl_4X$ type complex [isomer (b)] is closer to the experimental dipole moment than octahedral Sn(Ⅳ)$Cl_4X$2X type complexes. This calculated dipole moment suggests that Sn(Ⅳ)$Cl_4X$ may have the trigonal bipyramidal structure in dioxane solution. However, the calculated dipole moment for octahedral $Cl_3$Sn(Ⅳ) ($CH_2$Cl)2X type complex [Isomer (d)], ClSn(Ⅳ)(CH2Cl)32X type complex [Isomer(k)] and Cl2Sn(Ⅳ)(CH2Cl)22X type complex [Isomer(h)] are closer to the experimental dipole moments than other isomers for octahedral complexes and trigonal bipyramidal complexes. Such theoretical results indicate that $Cl_3Sn$(Ⅳ )($CH_2Cl$), ClSn(Ⅳ)$(CH_2Cl)_3$ and $Cl2Sn$(Ⅳ)$(CH_2Cl)_2$ complexes may have octahedral structures, Isomer(d), (k) and (h) in ethylacetate solution, respectively.

  • A Nielsen number $\bar{N}(f:X-A)$ is a homotopy invariant lower bound for the number of fixed points on X-A where X is a compact connected polyhedron and A is a connected subpolyhedron of X. This number is extended to Nielsen type numbers $\bar{NP_{n}}(f:X-A)$ of least period n and $\bar{N{\phi}_{n}}(f:X-A)$ of the nth iterate on X-A where the subpolyhedron A of a compact connected polyhedron X is no longer path connected.

딸기 전조재배 온실의 인공광 설치실태 및 조도분포 조사분석 (Current Status of Lighting System and Illumination Distribution in the Greenhouse for Light Culture of Strawberries)

  • Motivated by the need for developing the more efficient lighting system for light culture of strawberries in the greenhouse, this paper aims at acquiring and suggesting more concrete and scientific foundation of illuminating position, numbers of light source by investigating the types of lighting system and illumination distribution in the greenhouse for light culture of strawberries. The results of investigation and experiment are summarized as following below: 1. The types of lighting system used in the greenhouse producing strawberries were classified as 1 line and 2 lines lighting system. 2. As for the arranging types of artificial light, 2 lines lighting system, were classified as Z-type, N-type and W-type. (Refer Fig. 3) 3. The results of illumination distribution for Z-type, N-type and W-type of 2 lines illuminating system in the greenhouse with a small size tunnel measured at the height of 1.5m from the ground with 220V, 100W lamp in 6m light gap showed that maximum illuminance are 961x, 1211x, 1251x, minimum illuminance are 4.41x, 4.71x, average illuminance are 33.71x, 43.11x, 44.51x and standard deviations are 28.31x, 35.41x, 38.31x at each types. 4. Proportion of the area below optimal illuminance to floor area at the two lines illuminating system of Z-, N-, and W-type in greenhouse were appeared as 39.4%, 26.0% and 26.3%, respectively. Also proportion of the area over optimal illuminance to floor area at the two lines illuminating system of Z-, N-, W-type in greenhouse were appeared as 16.8%, 14% and 14.7%, respectively. Thus N-type was superior to the others from the view points of optimal illumination distribution and energy saving.

선량 중첩을 이용한 멀티형 연 X-선 정전기 제거장치의 개발 (Development of Multi-Type Soft X-ray Ionizer using Radiation Dose Overlapped Effect)

  • In display and semi-conductor manufacturing process, there are numerous unstable factors such as particle concentration, minimal vibration, changes in magnetic field, or electrostatic that becomes an issue to be managed and controlled. In the recent, X-ray ionization is widely used that is neutralized by separating air or gas molecules in the area where the static must be resolved. The mono-type of X-ray ionizer was not capable to be used in $8^{th}$ generation panels manufacturing plant due to its insufficient ionizing coverage since the panel itself is approximately in $2m{\times}3m$. To resolve the current problem, the development of new type called, "Multi-type X-ray ionizer" has resulted in covering enough ionizing space in $8^{th}$ generation panels industry. Comparing mono and multi types with MCNPX code simulation, the multi one indicates more X-ray flux, efficiency, and ionization performance in comparison with either a mono-type or multi-type in array format. In addition, the ionizing efficiency of overlapping area with multi-type showed 30% higher effectiveness rate as to the ordinary mono-type.

  • GaAs (001) 기판과 완충층을 사용한 ZnTe/GaAs(001) 기판 위에 고농도의 Zn 조성을 가지는 $Cd_xZn_{1-x}$Te/GaAs, $Cd_xZn_{1-x}$Te/ZnTe/GaAs 에피층 구조를 성장시켰다. 이때 $Cd_xZn_{1-x}$Te 에피층에서의 CuPt형의 규칙상 형성, 미세구조적 특성과 광발광특성을 X-선회절과 전자회절상, 고분해능 투과전자현미경, 그리고 저온 광발광 측정 장치를 이용하여 연구하였다.
