웹사이트에 나타난 디지털 라이프의 특성 분석 (An analysis on the characteristics of digital life reflected in web sites)

  • The purpose of this study is to analysis web sites which relate to housing environment on Internet and to suggest guidelines which are needed in digital life. Data are in 53 web sites searched by housing environmental word such as people, living, town and so on. The web sites are analyzed by key words. The results of this study were as follow: The web sites are divided into e-housing community, e-housing management, e-housing workplace and e-housing design. These are the digital life of new type. E-housing community sitess key words are 3D virtual world, chatting, information, service, community etc. E-housing community is related to making new wired community cross time and space. E-housing management sitess key words are guard management, apartment management, building management etc. E-housing management sites provide the useful information of housing management. E-housing workplace sitess key words are virtual office. conference etc. E-housing workplace sites enable us to work in cyberspace. E-housing design sitess key words are design, interior, furniture etc. E-housing design sites provide marketing, consulting and designing in relation to the house. The web life style on cyberspace is common and makes many changes happen in house life and environment.

Design of Rule-based Inference Engine for the Monitoring of Harmful Environments in Workplace

  • 맨홀, 지하정화조, 저장탱크, 밀폐공간 등의 유해 작업장은 환기가 불충분한 상태에서 산소결핍, 유해가스로 인한 건강장해와 인화성 물질에 의한 화재, 폭발 등의 위험이 있다. 이와 같은 유해환경 정보를 작업장 내의 센서를 통해서 실시간으로 모니터링하고, 위험으로부터 작업자의 안전을 보장할 수 있는 시스템이 필요하다. 이 논문에서는 작업장의 유해환경을 모니터링하기 위한 추론엔진을 설계한다. 제안하는 추론엔진은 규칙기반 시스템의 구조를 가지며 JESS를 활용한다. 제안 시스템은 특정 컴퓨팅 플랫폼에 제약되지 않으며 OSGi 기반의 미들웨어와 연동이 쉬운 특징을 가진다.

비교대 중년여성 근로자의 웰빙 영향요인: 2차자료분석 (Factors Influencing the Well-being of the Middle-aged Non-shift Female Workers: Using Secondary Data)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the factors influencing the well-being of middle-aged non-shift female workers using health-determinant models. Methods: This study analyzed data from the fifth Korean Working Conditions Survey (KWCS), involving 5,449 participants. A hierarchical multiple regression analysis was employed to examine the relationships between various factors and well-being. Results: The analysis identified key factors affecting well-being in middle-aged female non-shift workers, including supervisor support, presenteeism, satisfaction with the working environment, autonomy in working hours, support from coworkers, workplace discrimination, occupation, work-life balance, sleep problems, workplace size, weekly work hours, and sickness absence. This study confirms that the well-being of middle-aged non-shift female workers is influenced by factors at the individual, social, and community levels as well as by conditions related to love. Conclusion: To enhance the well-being of middle-aged female non-shift workers, it is essential to reinforce positive factors such as support from coworkers and superiors. Additionally, addressing and mitigating negatively influencing factors such as workplace discrimination and sleep problems is crucial in promoting well-being. By implementing measures to improve these aspects, organizations and policymakers can contribute to a healthier and more supportive work environment for middle-aged, non-shift female workers.

마을기업에서의 일터영성이 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 직무만족을 매개효과로 - (A Study on Effect of Workplace Spirituality of Community Enterprise on Organizational Citizenship Behavior -Mediating Effects of Job Satisfaction-)

  • 마을기업은 지역사회와 지역경제를 활성화하기 위한 공익성과 수익성을 동시에 추구하는 사업방식이면서 지역주민이 주체가 되어 지역자원을 활용하는 공동체 회복을 위한 대안적 노력의 한 형태이다. 이처럼 사회적 가치를 지향하면서도 영리기업의 특성을 함께 가진 마을기업은 자신의 삶에 대한 궁극적인 의미를 가지고, 마을기업의 일을 통해 삶의 의미와 목적을 찾으며, 동료들과 함께 있다는 심리적 정서 즉 공동체 의식이 마을기업에서 중요하다. 이러한 일터에서의 영성은 일반기업에서도 중요하지만 사회적 가치를 가지고 지역과 사회의 문제를 해결하는 목적으로 지역의 공동체를 형성하여, 비즈니스 형태로 해결하려는 마을기업에서도 중요하다 할 수 있다. 오늘날 급격한 경영환경의 변화와 사회적 역동성의 중심에서 개인과 조직의 문제 해결 방법을 제공해 줄 수 있는 대안 중의 하나가 일터영성이다. 일터영성은 만족, 몰입, 헌신, 조직시민행동에 이로울 뿐 아니라, 조직의 성과에 긍정적인 영향력을 발휘한다. 대부분 일반기업을 대상으로 이루어진 기존 일터영성 연구에서 연구 범위와 대상을 확대하여 마을기업에서의 일터영성 효과를 실증 분석하여 마을기업의 발전에 기여코자 한다. 분석결과, 마을기업과 일반기업 모두 동일하게 일터영성은 직무만족, 조직시민행동에 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 직무만족은 조직시민행동에 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 그리고 직무만족은 일터영성과 조직시민행동 간의 관계를 매개하였다. 또한, 마을기업에서의 일터영성은 일반기업과 차이가 있었는데, 마을기업에서 일터영성의 계수와 영향력이 더 높게 나타났다. 일터영성이 영리를 우선으로 추구하는 일반 기업에서도 중요하지만 마을기업에 더 중요하다 할 수 있다. 마을기업을 통한 일의 소명의식, 자신에 대한 내면의식, 타인에 대한 공감의식, 조직에 대한 공동체 의식, 자신을 넘어서는 초월의식인 일터영성은 마을기업 내 촉진되고 정착될 필요성이 있다.

A Case Study on Job Stress Prevention in Shipbuilding Industry

  • Objective: The aim of this study is to introduce activities for job stress management in shipbuilding industry. Background: Recently, workers are exposed many job stress like workload, interpersonal conflict while management condition of company changes day by day. Particularly, shipbuilding industry has poor environment which aggravating the stress to the workers. So managing job stress may be more important. Method: The method of this study is to investigate preventive actions of job stress in "S" shipbuilding company. Results: This study through case of "S" shipbuilding company introduce activities of prevention of job stress including identification of level of job stress, managing of psychological clinic, training of worker and manager. Conclusion: In order to manage the job stress in the workplace, 1) The total management system based on the concern of the management in the workplace has to be constructed. 2) Computerized system for operation of total management system has to be constructed. 3) New employees need training for Job Stress. Application: Through this case study, I hope to help prevention activities of job stress in the workplace.

  • During after the Industrial Revolution until now, as many of working machinery and tool had been invented, human could save man power and time. However, because such instruments generate a loud noise according to their use-purposes and dimensions, they are affecting a physical, mental bad influences to those workers. Therefore, while a reduction measure against the instrument-noise that generates at workshop is sincerely necessitated, due to lack of the research and data concerned with that, a lot of difficulties are on suffering. Standing on such point of view, this Study has measured analyzed the characteristics of diverse instrument-noises generate at workplace, and would intends to present a fundamental material for establishment more comfortable working environment by prediction on the noise in loud noise workshop, based on the above.

  • The purpose of this paper is to provide a review of the background information regarding to the role of workplace on affecting people's performance. In today's industry creativity has a very special and important place because of the dynamic organizational changes and rapid growth of technology. To support these new working styles and specifically, to support creativity within an organization, flexible workplaces are often suggested. Since open-plan office offers more flexibility when compared to completely closed and private ones, they are seen to have more capabilities and are highly valued in today's industry. So the result of this study will contribute towards enhancing the understanding of the effect office design to enhance employees' performance, especially in creative tasks.

클린사업장 조성사업의 산재 감소효과 추정 (The Effect of Clean Workplace Program on Industrial Accident Rates)

  • 본 논문은 산업재해에 대하 예방을 강화하기 위해, 산업재해율이 상대적으로 높은 50인 미만 영세 제조업체를 중심으로 2001년 이후 보조금을 지급한 클린사업장 조성사업의 순수한 산재 감소효과를 추정하기 위해 작성되었다. 본고의 분석 결과에 따라 가장 신뢰도가 높은 추정방법인 (1) 선택 편의를 통제하기 위하여 클린사업장 1년 전의 자료를 제외하고 (2) 고유 효과(fixed effect) 차분모형을 이용한 회귀분석을 사용한 결과를 중심으로 분석한 결과 클린사업장으로 인정된 사업장의 인정 이전 산재발생률이 0.34%포인트 정도 하락하는 것으로 추정되었음을 감안할 때 산재발생률에서는 15.8% 감소한 것으로 보아야 할 것이다.

작업장에서의 n-부틸 글리시딜 에테르에 대한 건강 위험성 평가 (Human Health Risk Assessment of n-Butyl Glycidyl Ether from Occupational Workplaces)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to evaluate the health risk of workers exposed to butyl glycidyl ether to prevent them from developing occupational diseases. Methods: The workplaces that coat floor with epoxy were selected and the samples were collected and analyzed with NIOSH 1616 Method. We calculate workplace reference concentration using with NOAEL estimated by the study of Anderson et al. in 1978. Risk was calculated by the ratio of exposure to workplace reference concentration. Monte-Carlo simulation was performed to derivate the median, cumulative 90%, and cumulative 95% value by using Crystal Ball. Results: Butyl glycidyl ether is a skin, eye irritator and can result in central nervous system depression, allergic reaction. NOAEL was 38 ppm and workplace reference concentration was calculated as 0.73 ppm corrected with uncertainty factors. Geometric mean was 1.152 ppm and geometric standard deviation was 1.522 by the workplace environment measurement. The median, cumulative 90%, and cumulative 95% value of risk were calculated as 1.617, 1.934, and 2.092, respectively. Conclusions: Not only cumulative 90% and cumulative 95% value but also the median of risk is higher than 1.0 by the risk characterization, so it can do a lot of harm to workers. Therefore, the process of derivating workplace reference concentration and the appropriacy of the uncertainty factors should be re-examined.

외래병동간호사와 병동간호사의 의사소통능력과 간호전문직관, 업무환경 및 직무만족도 비교 (A Comparative Study on Communicatioin Competence, Nursing Professionalism, Work Environment and Job Satisfaction between Outpatient Nurses and Ward Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare communication competence, nursing professionalism, work environment and job satisfaction between outpatient nurses and ward nurses, and to identify the correlation among variables. Methods: The participants were 90 outpatient nurses and 98 ward nurses at the two general hospitals. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2-test$, independent t-test and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results: There were statistically significant differences between two groups in nursing professionalism, possibilities for development, commitment to the workplace, social support from colleagues, social community at work and job satisfaction, outpatient nurses showed higher level than ward nurses except commitment to the workplace. The work environment variables and nurses' job satisfaction were mostly correlated. Job satisfaction showed significant negatively correlated with quantitative demands, emotional demands and role conflicts in both groups nurses. Conclusion: These findings showed that nursing work environments were the most important factor for job satisfaction of both group nurses. Therefore, it is necessary to put efforts in improving nursing work environment and to develop diverse strategies for human resource management.
