2018년 소방공무원 응급구조사 총조사 (The 2018 Fire department emergency medical technician survey)

  • Purpose: The 2018 General survey of emergency assistance was conducted to examine the working conditions and welfare, including educational direction, interests, and awareness of work, of the fire department emergency medical technicians (EMT). This would be used as basic data for future policy directions. Methods: Among the fire-fighting officers in 16 cities nationwide, emergency rescue workers engaged in first-aid activities were targeted. With prior consent, a survey was conducted through electronic documents. Of the total 1,227 people, responses from 1,151 were finally analyzed, excluding 76 who did not respond appropriately. Results: The working conditions and welfare of 119 firefighters were moderate, but in the fields of education and interest, the learning according to the regulations was high. In particular, satisfaction with the scope of work was found to be below average. However, it was positive that it will play a role as a social safety net in the future and will converge with cutting-edge science. Conclusion: Although this study was a total investigation of the EMT survey, conducting an EMT survey on all fire fighters in Korea is difficult. Further research is needed, particularly on first-class emergency medical personnel who play a major role in 119 paramedics.

상선 위탁실습생의 근로실태 및 실습만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Working Conditions and Training Satisfaction Level of Merchant Ship Cadets)

  • 2016년 7월~2018년 2월까지 해운회사의 상선에서 위탁실습을 다녀온 4학년 학생을 대상으로 위탁실습생의 근로실태 및 실습만족도에 대하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 평균 근로시간은 10시간, 최소 휴식시간은 4시간 미만이 가장 많은 것으로 조사되었다. 실습 만족도에 대하여 만족 또는 보통 수준을 보였으며, 벌크선과 컨테이너선에서 실습한 학생들의 만족도가 다소 낮게 나왔다. 라면 끓이기, 휴식 중 작업, 야식 준비 등 실습 목적 외 부당한 지시를 받는 사례가 다수 있었다. 실습생은 선원법 상 선원이 아닌 자로 분류되어 있다. 이로 인해 근로시간 또는 휴식시간 등에 대해 보호를 받지 못하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 또한 일부 해운회사에서는 실습교육을 가장한 실질적 근로(노동) 인력으로 활용하고 있는 사례가 있어 이에 대한 대책 마련이 시급하다.

중공업에서의 근골격계질환과 직무스트레스의 관계에 관한 연구 (Study of the Relation Between Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders and Job Stress in Heavy Industry)

  • The Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders(WMSDs) have been an rising issue since the 1970s. So many manufacturing companies have been tried to improve the work environments for the control and the prevention of the WMSDs. Specific risk factors associated with WMSDs include repetitive motion, heavy lifting, forceful exertion, contact stress, vibration, awkward posture and rapid hand and wrist movement. But recently it has reported that besides working conditions, job stress is the important hazard causes which lead to WMSDs. This study investigates the relation between WMSDs and Job stress from 1426 workers in Heavy Industry. Job stress was evaluated by Karasek's model. Job stress was associated with job satisfaction. Job demand was associated with the WMSDs, but job control was not associated with the WMSDs. The results can be used to design the management program for the WMSDs and the job stress.

비영역적 업무공간의 사용자 의식에 관한 연구 (A Study on User Awareness regarding Non-Territorial Workplaces)

  • Non-territorial workplace has different characteristic from conventional workplace in terms of interior and architectural design and organization management even the user awareness. The purpose of this study is to examine the non-territorial workplace and suggest needs for improving the quality and efficiency of work. To fulfill this task, information describing various environmental conditions and user awareness were gathered from the non-territorial office in Seoul. Data were collected by using questionnaires regarding general information of user and satisfaction of environmental elements that were established on pre-study. Finally, based on the results of this study, the users of non-territorial workplace seem to be satisfied with utilization of space and working but discontent with psychological element such as privacy, security and affinity. Therefore designers should focused more on psychological elements according to users awareness which is the finding in this study among other elements.

처방의약품과 일반의약품의 복약지도 시간에 영향을 주는 약사 요인 (The Factors Related to Patient Consultation Time for Prescription and Non-Prescription Medications in Community Pharmacies)

  • The effects of characteristics of community pharmacists on consultation time for prescription (RX) and nonprescription drugs (nRX) were investigated. A crosssectional descriptive design was established with a self-administered anonymous mail survey. Response rate was 52%. Significant pharmacists' factors related to having less than 3 minutes consultation for RX were one's dispensing duties exceeding 50%, low satisfaction with one's own level of consultation, working at the pharmacies nearby clinics, or shorter duration of consultation time for nRX. Consultation promoting conditions should be built up for the provision of sufficient consultation.

CONSTRUCTION LOST-TIME INJURIES IN LAOS: AN EXPLORATORY STUDY

  • This paper presents a study on construction safety in the People Democratic Republic of Laos (PDRL). Fifty workers experienced certain injuries in their construction sites and 15 top managers were interviewed in twenty-six construction projects in Vientiane, the capital of PDRL. Research results show that stepping on and/or striking against objects (48%), struck by falling objects (24%), falling of persons (12%) are major types of construction injuries. The paper stresses that the ignorance of top managers about their crucial role in safety improvement, using safety incentive to raise safety performance, lack of thorough understanding about benefit from labor safety performance, and the willingness to cut off safety performance expenditures is considered as obstructions of safety improvement programs. The survey indicates that physical working conditions, relationship among workers, foremen behaviors and the monthly wage were influencing factors to worker's job satisfaction. The study also highlights afternoon as dominant time that led to a large number of injuries.

한국 치과기공사의 직무만족과 직장이동에 관한 연구 (A study on job-satisfaction and Turn-over(Transferability) of Dental Technicians in Korea)

  • This study was aimed for bettering productivity and technical level of the dental 1 aboratory, and helping the dental technician's benefits and rights, and then endowing them some belonged atmospher and stability on their post by Improving job- satisfaction and maintaining the transferability of one's post at a proper limitation. Therefore, 320 dental technicians extracted randomly from all the technicians working at 494 dental laboratories were subjected for this study. The approach to the study was a way through some postal questionaires executed from March 29, 1988 until May 4, the same year, in which total 254 technicians answered, showing 79% resp"nserate. responserate. The data-analysis was done by a model of the dental technician's transferability from their post, as considering Mobley's(1978)-model of post-transferability, and results through the study are as follows : 1. Satisfaction at a given post showed that the married is better than the unmarried(<0.05), and the experienced is better than the inexperienced(P<0.01). 2. Age, sex, educational experience, and one's service-duration did not affect significantly to the respondent's satisfaction on their post, statistically. 3. Satisfaction at a given post differed in adccordance with given conditions of one's post, i. e.,it stowed high when the monthly payment was good(P<0.05), and when too much duty on their job was given, it was the worst as shown in an example of the next order, too much

문헌정보학과 학생의 취업에 대한 인식조사 연구 (A Study on Cognitive Survey about Student Employment of the Department of Library & Information Science's)

  • 본 연구에서는 문헌정보학과 학생들이 생각하는 문헌정보학의 취업전망에 대한 인식을 포함하여 현재의 교육과정에 대한 만족도, 취업준비도, 취업관련 프로그램에 대한 요구사항을 파악하고자 하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 학생들의 취업희망분야는 도서관이 가장 높고 그 중에서 공공도서관이 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 취업희망지역은 출신대학의 소재와 관계없이 서울 경기지역이 가장 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 대학의 교육과정에 대한 만족도는 높은 편이며, 현장기반 취업프로그램을 가장 원하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 취업준비에 대한 애로사항은 취업정보에 대한 부족이 가장 높게 나타났다. 다섯째, 직장선택에 영향을 주는 요건은 근무조건, 정년보장, 복리후생, 보수 등으로 나타났다. 따라서 학생들의 취업률 제고를 위해서는 취업정보시스템의 구축, 현장기반 교육과정의 강화, 그리고 지방의 취업여건 및 환경개선이 요구된다고 할 수 있다.

조선업 작업장의 작업환경 및 산업용 보호복의 착의실태 (The Work Environment and Wearing Conditions of Industrial Protective Clothing in Shipbuilding Workshops)

  • This study examined the work environment and wearing conditions of industrial protective clothing in shipbuilding workshops. It also investigated the relationship between the wearing sensation of industrial protective clothing and overall comfort, according to work process. In addition, the work posture according to work process was evaluated based on ergonomic factors. The wearing rate of industrial protective clothing was 73.3%, 66.7%, and 60.1% for workers engaged in welding, grinding, and painting, respectively. The harmful work environment factors, listed from most harmful to least harmful, were found to be high temperature pyrogens, noxious fumes, organic solvents, UV rays, and heavy dust. The aspect of wearing performance of industrial protective clothing that was most related to user dissatisfaction was poor sweat absorbency. In terms of the correlation between the overall comfort and the wearing sensation of industrial protective clothing, the satisfaction was low shown in orders of physiological comfort, sensual comfort, and movement comfort.

농촌현장포럼에서 퍼실리테이터들이 경험하는 어려움에 대한 탐색 (Exploring the Difficulties Experienced by the Facilitators in the Rural Field Forum)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the extent of difficulties experienced by facilitators in the rural field forum and to derive a theoretical model for improving the satisfaction of facilitators in the rural field forum. Based on grounded theory, qualitative analysis used data collected through individual in-depth interviews with 10 facilitators who are working at the rural field forum. This collected data was analyzed using the Nvivo 11 program. Using a derived theoretical model, the result of analyzing the difficulties experienced by facilitators in the rural field forum showed the core phenomenon identified as difficulties on-site the forum. There was a clarification of the issues regarding improvement of their labour conditions in order to solve the difficulties on-site the forum. The issues towards improving labour conditions were low allowance, equal assignment, guaranteed four major insurances and so on. The facilitators have been trying to activate the rural field forum by promoting their own capacity through the cooperation between colleagues, post training, seminars, and conferences.
