This study aims to discuss how job stress of private security guards would influence organizational commitment and turnover intention, and it basically looks into mediating effects of job burnout to understand the former's effects on the latter. In order to conduct the analysis, the study selected private security guards working for security agencies located in Seoul as a research subject, and carried out a survey targeting 700 of those security guards who had been gathered by a random cluster sampling method. The survey was conducted for about four months from May of 2014 to September of the same year and with 24 samples that had not been returned or that had been observed to have some outliers excluded, a total of 676 samples were applied as final data. The study used SPSSWIN 18.0 Statistical Package for analyzing the data, and hypotheses were confirmed via a Frequency Analysis, Factor analysis, Cronbach's Alpha, Person's Correlation Analysis, regression analysis and a path analysis. Findings of the analysis reported that emotional exhaustion has partially mediating effects on relations among role conflict, role overload and organizational commitment and that role ambiguity is not significantly connected. In addition, as for a relation of role conflict and turnover intention, emotional exhaustion was turned out to have a full mediating effect on the relation. The study did not notice any significant connection between emotional exhaustion and role ambiguity. Add to that, in terms of a relation between role overload and turnover intention, emotional exhaustion appeared to have a partial mediating effect on the relation which helped a relevant hypothesis to be partly adopted. Regarding a relation of job stress with organizational commitment, according to results of a path analysis on dehumanization, dehumanization does not significantly affect a relation between role ambiguity and organizational commitment and as for role conflict and role overload, the study confirmed that they have a partially mediating effect on this relation of dehumanization with organizational commitment. The study learned then that dehumanization does not have a significant influence on a relation between role ambiguity and turnover intention. However, the study figured out that when it comes to a relation of role conflict and role overload, dehumanization has a partially mediating effect on the relation and as a consequence, a relevant hypothesis was adopted in part.
The purpose of this study is to propose policies to improve and revitalize rural bus services in Jeollabuk-do in the future by identifying the factors that affect service satisfaction and policy satisfaction and the relationship between them, targeting rural bus users in 4 cities and counties in Jeollabuk-do. In the four cities and counties in the study area, the number of rural bus users is continuously decreasing, and various transportation policies, such as unification of bus fares and demand-response transportation, are being piloted to promote bus use. In this study, three major service quality factors that affect rural bus service satisfaction and policy satisfaction were derived after a literature review. Modifying the research model presented in previous studies, we have presented a research model to verify the relationship between the three factors affecting service satisfaction and policy satisfaction, and the relationship between service satisfaction and policy satisfaction. For the verification of the research model, a total of 520 survey data collected from passengers near bus stops and bus terminals in four cities and counties, Gochang, Gimje, Buan, and Jeongeup, were used. As a result of the verification, it was found that the three factors of economic feasibility, convenience, and safety had a statistically positive (+) effect on service satisfaction, but only convenience and safety had a positive (+) effect on policy satisfaction. Contrary to the research hypothesis, it was found that there was no statistically significant relationship between service satisfaction and policy satisfaction. Although the result is different from the research hypothesis, it was a meaningful result that can make policy suggestions on the improvement of the unified fare system policy, service satisfaction, and policy satisfaction to Jeollabuk-do rural bus transportation policy makers and working-level officers. In conclusion, based on the results of research analysis, the unified fare system, and transportation policy, measures to improve service satisfaction and policy satisfaction were presented.
The properties, land use and genesis of the Jang-weon series, Planosol-like soils, distributed in Cheong-do area were investigated. Planosol-like soils in Korea have been believed unsuitable for perennial crops but 34.6% (594ha) of the Jang-weon soils in Cheongdo-gun are used for perennial crops such as apples, persimmons, peaches, mulberry etc. With productivity more or less equal to alluvial soils. The reason for high productivity and a working hypothesis for the genesis of the fragipan is suggested with discussion.
This study is composed of both a research of research literature and empirical analysis. With regard to literature based, consideration was given to present conditions of domestic coffee shops, thhe definition of barista, the duty characteristics baristas, and intention to change job. Empirical analysis established hypotheses and verified the effect of duty characteristics on job satisfaction and turnover intention. A survey to verifying the hypothesis of study was performed for 400 baristas who were working at their coffee shops with selecting coffee shops randomly in Seoul and Kyeonggi-do. 2012.08.15~2012.08.30, for 15 days, I performed survey, without faithless answers and questionnaires which weren't written, I used total 331 papers for actual analysis. Collected basic data were analyzed through SPSS 18.0 program by frequency analysis, correlation analysis, factorial analysis, reliability analysis, regression analysis, and so on. I suggested like this for managing effective human resources. For increasing satisfaction of duty of barista, manager should give opportunity for attending important duty to barista, and because of this, barista can feel sense of responsibility and self-esteem.

In our previous report, we indicated that not only BSA but also BGG played an important role in the allergenicity of beef. In this study, the effect of heat or high-pressure treatments to beef extract on the SDS-PAGE patterns was examined. The antigenicity of each treated samples was also investigated by Western blots assay with the sera of BGG-positive beef allergic patients. The BGG band and its antigenicity slightly disappeared but not generally in $100^{\circ}C$ group, indicating $100^{\circ}C$ treatment is not sufficient to totally eliminate the antigenicity of beef allergens. Compared with BGG band, BSA band significantly disappeared in SDS-PAGE with $100^{\circ}C$ treatment, indicating BSA is more heat- sensitive than BGG. When the beef extract was heated at $120^{\circ}C$, not only BSA but also BGG bands was largely disappeared in both SDS-PAGE and Western blots. High pressure (HP) treatment even at 600 MPa did not affect SDS-PAGE and Western blots pattern of BSA. On the contrary, BGG treated with HP showed visible changes in SDS-PAGE. 600 MPa treatment significantly reduced the antigencity. Interestingly, these behaviors of BGG were not found in the same experiments with pure BGG treated with HP. From these results, it was speculated that some kinds of proteolytic enzymes in beef extracts were involved in the BGG molecular degradation by HP treatment. The aging experiments of beef extracts treated with HP supported this hypothesis. Further studies are needed to clarify the function and working mechanism of enzymes associated with BGG degradation in beef extracts by HP treatment.

The present study tested the hypothesis that adolescents' performance on scientific reasoning tasks and their ability to change theoretical concepts during instruction are mediated by prefrontal-cognitive functions, such as planning and inhibiting. Subjects sampled from four Korean secondary schools were administered a test of scientific reasoning ability and tests of the prefrontal lobe functions. A series of lessons on theoretical concepts was also administered. Subjects' performance on the test of scientific reasoning and pre- to posttest gains in the concept test were used as dependent variables. This study found that students' planning and inhibiting abilities were highly correlated with and they significantly predicted their scientific reasoning ability and conceptual gains. Further, principal component analysis showed prefrontal lobe functions were categorized into two main components. Component 1, which was loaded by planning and working memory functions, was termed as the representing process. Component 2, which was loaded primarily by the inhibiting functions, was termed as the inhibiting process. Scientific reasoning and conceptual change were also linked to these two components, indicating that these cognitive processes are mediated by both representing and inhibiting processes.

As the environment changes rapidly and the diversity of organizational members increases in the modern organization, interest is increasingly focused on empowering leadership that gives more authority and autonomy to the individual. In this study, we demonstrate an effective process for empowering leadership that was examined by focusing on the leader acceptance of organization members. For this purpose, 293 questionnaires were collected from employees working in corporations, and the mediating effects of individual leader acceptance on the relationship between empowering leadership and individual effectiveness (individual innovative behavior, individual performance) were verified. Hypothesis testing revealed that empowering leadership had a significant influence on both individual innovative behavior and individual performance. Second, in the relationship between empowering leadership and individual innovative behavior, individual leader acceptance was completely mediated. Third, in the relationship between empowering leadership and individual performance, individual leader acceptance was completely mediated. This study suggests that individual leader acceptance is important for empowering leadership effectiveness. In order for empowering leadership to be more effective, we propose that leaders make empowering behaviors according to the organization members' level of maturity and personal values.
This paper analyzes the effects of nuclear power generation on industrial growth in using the data of 22 manufacturing sectors in 14 nuclear power countries. The hypothesis that the change in the proportion of nuclear power generation in total electricity generation affects industrial value-added and industrial output through industrial electricity price reduction was tested using the dynamic panel data model. First, it was estimated that the increase in nuclear power generation by a 1% leads to a 0.8% reduction in electricity price. The results indicate that when nuclear power generation increased by a 1% point, industrial value-added and output increased by 0.16% and 0.23%,respectively, in the short-run and by 0.51% and 0.85%, respectively, in the long-run. It was also inferred that the effect of nuclear generation on industrial competitiveness working through electricity price reduction rely on institutional settings in the electricity markets. That is, the competitive effect is greater in the countries such as U.K and Japan where electricity price is high and price volatility is large. Meanwhile, in Germany which has pursued phasing out nuclear power, industrial competitiveness is promoted through stable electricity supply.

The purpose of this study was to closely examine the influence of field-shock experience and post traumatic stress perceived by fire officials upon somatic symptoms and coping methods. A survey was carried out targeting 362 male and female fire officials who are working at fire safety centers where are located in Gangwon-do Province. The collected data were used SPSS 19.0 and AMOS 19.0 for Windows. It carried out frequency analysis, factor analysis for validity and reliability, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ analysis, descriptive statistics and correlation. For hypothesis verification, an analysis was carried out by using structural equation modeling. All the statistical analyses were set for the significant level in p<.05. The results are as follows. First, the perceived field-shock stress was indicated to have influence upon post traumatic stress. Second, the perceived field-shock stress was indicated to have influence upon somatic symptom. Third, the perceived field-shock stress was indicated to have influence upon a coping method. Fourth, the post traumatic stress was indicated to have influence upon somatic symptom. Fifth, the post traumatic stress was indicated to have influence upon a coping method. Sixthly, the somatic symptom was indicated to have influence upon a method of coping with stress.
This study investigates non-native speakers(NNS) of English use of backchannels with beginner-intermediate learners' use of 'uh', 'um(uhm)', 'and' and 'hm' suggesting a view as a possible pedagogical implication. The initial aim of this study was to learn this phenomenon and observe their conversation patterns to compare with previous studies. Based on the previous findings, the analyzed data using conventional Conversation Analysis (CA) methods indicate the possible presence of L1 topic markers, '-un' and '-nun' in the form of L2 backchannel tokens when uttered by beginning and intermediate level speakers of English and the presences of L2 backchannel tokens appear only in front of noun phrases. Additionally, these same words with these tokens and when translated back to Korean also require topic markers of '-un' and '-nun.' Finally, This study discusses possible pedagogical implications with the initial analysis of backchannel tokens for Korean EFL learners. In addition, the ultimate goal of this study is to refine this analysis with follow up experiments to validate this investigation into a working hypothesis generating discussions of this backchannel phenomenon from being viewed as a hindrance to as an positive influence that needs to be understood.
