The purpose of this study is to suggest a improved tact planning and scheduling by reliable Toning of work area in high-rise building construction. To do this, the characteristics of main work including electric & mechanical work were considered through the interview with field work forces. The content of the study is focused mainly on reliable work flow and rhythmical repetition of uniform resource quantity to manage effective tact planning & scheduling. And also the study recommends more implement of tact planning and scheduling to manage human resources successfully in repetitive building construction.
Recently, the importance of ISP(Information System Planning) has been increased because of rapid change and severe competition in business environments. Furthermore, the role of IS in the organization has included not only the supportive activities but also the strategic activities. Organizations can get the competitive advantages through the strategic use of IT by establishing effective and systematic ISP implementation. The main focus of this study is investigate the relationship among three subunits(organizational factors, the role of IS and effective ISP) based on the contingent settings which the process of ISP is implemented. The reasons that conceptual framework of this study is based on the contingent theory are as follow: First, ISP process itself has a series of complicated work which various elements in a company are involved. ISP externally must have the process to evaluate information technology (technology related with IS). Internally ISP process has a serious of works including determining information requirements to develop successful IS for other functional departments and identifying strategic opportunity of IS aligned with business strategy. Secondly, the activity of ISP is occurring on the continual basis. Business environments in which ISP process has implemented are changing continuously. Specific ISP methodology which was appropriate in a certain period of time does not work any more because of the rapid changes in business environments. For this reason managers can hardly expect successful ISP without considering external environments or internal environments such as organizational or management side. For this study, 240 survey questionnaires were mailed and 71 questionnaires were returned. 57 samples were used for the final analysis and 14 samples were excluded from analysis in that they didn't exercise official and systematic ISP. As the result of analysis, among the internal factors(organizational size, time frame of decision making, budget, management style, organizational culture) organizational culture, management style and time frame of decision making are identified as contingent factors on the effective ISP. The result of this study may have meaning in suggesting the way to develop effective ISP through the formalization of business process, more favorable users attitude toward IS and selection of an appropriate ISP methodology.

Together the reason of subcontract at managing the big business the case which becomes accomplished in objective, about lower the immediacy safety&health problem, subcontractor assigned workers is the actual condition only it could not be deteriorated more in public finance of the supply and enterprise and technical ability insufficiency. Consequently it prevents the subcontract which danger work is insensitive from this research and immediacy of the subcontract workers who is weak hygiene circumstance complement the plan it will be able to secure the immediacy safety&health subcontract workers, substantially to prepare in the hazard subcontract proprietor.
In this study, the impact of organizational culture on the quality of social work services in hospitals were empirically analysed. A mailed questionnaire survey was conducted between February 19 and April 10, 2001. A sample of total 70 hospitals, including general hospitals with one social worker at least and single-department hospital with two social workers or more, were identified nationwide through the registry of Korean Association of Medical Social Workers and Korean Association of Hospitals. According to coping strategy and reacting pattern with the environmental changes, four types of organizational culture in each hospital, classified as group culture, developmental culture, hierarchial culture, and rational culture, were adopted for the independent variables. Three dimensional aspects of quality of social work service - structure, process, and outcome were selected as dependent variables in this study. Also the quality of social work service was distributed into provider-perceiving quality and consumer-perceiving quality The major findings were as following in summary; First, most social workers reported that the characteristic of culture in their hospitals are group culture the first, hierarchial culture the second, developmental culture the third, and rational culture finally in order of comparing the level of quality perceived between social worker's recognition. Second, service provider and consumer, The provider-perceiving quality showed less score than that of consumer, especially the lowest was the score of quality of outcome perceived by provider. Third, according to the types of organizational culture, there were significantly different levels of quality in total social work services, structure dimension and process dimension. The quality of outcome dimension did not show significant differences among the type of organizational culture. Finally, the most influential variables to the quality of social work service ice proved departmental form of social work unit, leader of social work unit, and developmental culture of hospital To assure quality services, accordingly, social work unit in hospital is required to be organized as a single unit, that means to be an independent department of which qualified social worker is supposed to control the unit. It is strongly recommended to develop leadership for the leaders of social work unit.

The Last PlannerSystem (LPS) has been implemented on construction projects to increase work flow reliability, a precondition for project performance againstproductivity and progress targets. The LPS encompasses four tiers of planning processes:master scheduling, phase scheduling, lookahead planning, and commitment / weeklywork planning. This research highlights deficiencies in the current implementation of LPS including poor lookahead planning which results in poor linkage between weeklywork plans and the master schedule. This poor linkage undetermines the ability of theweekly work planning process to select for execution tasks that are critical to projectsuccess. As a result, percent plan complete (PPC) becomes a weak indicator of project progress. The purpose of this research is to improve lookahead planning (the bridgebetween weekly work planning and master scheduling), improve PPC, and improve theselection of tasks that are critical to project success by increasing the link betweenShould, Can, Will, and Did (components of the LPS), thereby rendering PPC a betterindicator of project progress. The research employs the case study research method to describe deficiencies inthe current implementation of the LPS and suggest guidelines for a better application ofLPS in general and lookahead planning in particular. It then introduces an analyticalsimulation model to analyze the lookahead planning process. This is done by examining the impact on PPC of increasing two lookahead planning performance metrics: tasksanticipated (TA) and tasks made ready (TMR). Finally, the research investigates theimportance of the lookahead planning functions: identification and removal ofconstraints, task breakdown, and operations design.The research findings confirm the positive impact of improving lookaheadplanning (i.e., TA and TMR) on PPC. It also recognizes the need to perform lookaheadplanning differently for three types of work involving different levels of uncertainty:stable work, medium uncertainty work, and highly emergent work.The research confirms the LPS rules for practice and specifically the need to planin greater detail as time gets closer to performing the work. It highlights the role of LPSas a production system that incorporates deliberate planning (predetermined andoptimized) and situated planning (flexible and adaptive). Finally, the research presents recommendations for production planningimprovements in three areas: process related, (suggesting guidelines for practice),technical, (highlighting issues with current software programs and advocating theinclusion of collaborative planning capability), and organizational improvements(suggesting transitional steps when applying the LPS).
BIM technologies store, share and integrate the information produced in each sector of the construction industry. From this point on, it increases the efficiency of the work. Currently, quantity take-off and process schedule are derived separately based on BIM technology. When calculating the quantity by process, relevant information shall be collected, reinterpreted, and reevaluated as required by the practice. The purpose of this study is to develop an integrated process and quantity management system through BIM collaboration and to build prototypes for steel structures. The main research is to build a construction BIM model for steel structures and a process BIM model through BIM collaboration. Furthermore, necessary information was selected and processed according to the user's needs for integrated management. Relevant integration outcomes are visualized graphically to maximize utilization. Through these studies, a system for integrated control of processes and supplies is provided, and the results are expected to contribute to the improvement of working efficiency and are easily and quickly reflected in design change and process change. In this study, we intended to enhance the usability of information by linking process schedules with quantity calculations based on BIM. Thus, the process for integrated control of the quantity of structural components by process unit and the BIM based schedule information was established. In addition, the efficiency of the information link of the integrated management system was considered for design changes and process schedule changes.
This paper suggests a specific model that could efficiently improve the interaction and the interface between MES(Manufacturing Execution System) server and POP(Point of Production) terminal through electronic document server and electronic pen, bluetooth receiver and form paper in disassembly and process inspection works. The proposed model shows that the new method by electronic document automation system can more efficiently perform to reduce processing time for maintenance work, compared with the current approach by handwritten processing system. It is noted in case of the method by electronic document automation system that the effects of proposed model are as follows; (a) While the processing time per equipment for maintenance by the current method was 300 minutes, the processing time by the new method was 50 minutes. (b) While the processing error ratio by the current method was 20%, the error ratio by the new method was 1%.
The yield and quality of a micromanufacturing process are important management factors. In real-world situations, it is difficult to achieve a high yield from a manufacturing process because the products are produced through multiple nanoscale manufacturing processes. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the processes and equipment that lead to low yields. This paper proposes an analytical method to identify the processes and equipment that cause a defect in the plastic ball grid array (PBGA) during the manufacturing process using logistic regression and stepwise variable selection. The proposed method was tested with the lot trace records of a real work site. The records included the sequence of equipment that the lot had passed through and the number of faults of each type in the lot. We demonstrated that the test results reflect the real situation in a PBGA manufacturing process, and the major equipment parameters were then controlled to confirm the improvement in yield; the yield improved by approximately 20%.

It is critical to effectively change the measures of prevention from the breakdown maintenance proceeding an apartment housing maintenance task scope. It is necessary that systematization be performed for a series of tasks, such as facility inspection, diagnosis and replacement. In addition, it is preceded by establishing a standardization for maintenance work scope. Therefore, this study examined the problems related to public rental housing maintenance work scope to manage it more systematically. In addition, the study suggests a work process section for facility repairs, long term replacement and general maintenance using one on one interviews with experts to classify the occupants, management office and head office. This study's standard work system is expected to provide fairness and transparency in addition to improving the productivity in public rental housing maintenance via an efficiency promotion plan. In addition, it is used as the basic reference for developing a system of public rental housing maintenance costs and diagnosis actions. Finally, it is necessary to create improvements that provide a more objective work system standardization throughout the analysis of the productivity data according to the work flow and the review of the occupants, management office and head office in the future applications of the pilot site.

To maximize effectiveness of standardization activities, it is essential to set priorities for determined standardization work items in the next generation internet protocol television (NG-IPTV) technologies. In this study, the analytic hierarchy process(AHP) is employed and applied to ranking of NG-IPTV standardization work items as a multi-criteria decision making tool which involves comprehensive surveys. Survey results are analyzed and we identified a useful three level segmentation of standardization strategic plan which shows standardization work item priorities.
