Internet generalization has led to increased demands for Internet banking. Various security programs to protect authentication information are being developed; however, these programs cannot protect the wireless communication sections of wireless keyboards. In particular, vulnerabilities have been reported in the radio communication sections of 27 MHz wireless keyboards. In this paper, we explain how to analyze M's 27 MHz wireless keyboard. We also experimentally show that an attacker can acquire authentication information during domestic Internet banking using a 27 MHz wireless keyboard. To do this, we set up an experimental encironment to analyze the electromagnetic signal of a 27 MHz wireless keyboard.
Wireless magnet pumps are used in medical applications and are particularly useful as artificial heart ventricular assist devices (VADs). To investigate wireless operation of magnetic pumps, we fabricated three types of magnetic impellers using bonded magnets by blending magnetic powders of SmFeN, NdFeB, and Sr-ferrite. We investigated the magnetic properties of the fabricated magnetic impellers, which are driven by the application of magnetic coupling with an external driving magnet or external coil system, without a driving motor, shaft, or mechanical bearings. The use of wireless magnetic pumps is therefore not complicated by critical issues of size, heat, and vibration, which are very important issues for blood pumps. The magnetic properties of the impellers, such as their rotational speed, driving torque and hydrodynamic performance, determine their wireless driving ranges. We conducted performance evaluations of the impeller's magnetic wireless manipulation, heat, and vibration. In addition, we carried out an animal test to confirm the suitability of the wireless magnetic pumps for use as biventricular assist devices (BiVADs).

In this paper, we point out the problem of guard band between wireless local loop and wireless LAN, review technologies of wireless local loop, and analyze radio interference between wireless local loop and wireless LAN. The contents of this paper are helpful to make a rule for technical specifications of wireless local loop facilities.
Effective identification of wireless channel in different scenarios or regions can solve the problems of multipath interference in process of wireless communication. In this paper, different characteristics of wireless channel are extracted based on the arrival time and received signal strength, such as the number of multipath, time delay and delay spread, to establish the feature vector set of wireless channel which is used to train backpropagation (BP) neural network to identify different wireless channels. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can accurately identify different wireless channels, and the accuracy can reach 97.59%.

Recently, there has been an increase in research on wireless sensor networks (WSNs) because they are easy to deploy in applications such as internet-of-things (IoT) and body area networks. However, WSNs have constraints in terms of power, quality-of-service (QoS), computation, and others. To overcome the power constraint issues, wireless energy harvesting has been introduced into WSNs, the application of which has been the focus of many studies. Additionally, to improve system performance in terms of achievable rate, cooperative networks are also being explored in WSNs. We present a review on current research in the area of energy harvesting in WSNs, specifically on the application of simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) in a cooperative sensor network. In addition, we discuss possible future extensions of SWIPT and cooperative networks in WSNs.

In this paper, we maximize the lifetime of a multi-hop path through a cooperative wireless energy sharing scheme between constituent nodes in a wireless multi-hop communication. Considering a bidirectional multi-hop communication environment, we present an optimization problem to maximize path lifetime by adjusting the amount of energy each node needs to share with its neighboring nodes. On the basis of solidarity property, i.e., the lifetime of the multi-hop path is maximized when the lifetimes of all nodes are the same, we convert the considered optimization problem into a linear programming problem and solve it easily. Simulation result shows that the proposed two-way wireless energy sharing method maximizes the path lifetime of multi-hop communications and approximately doubles the path lifetime compared with the one-way energy sharing method.
In this paper, we present a two-stage scalable channel estimator (TSCE), a deep learning (DL)-based scalable, and robust channel estimator for wireless cellular networks, which is made up of two DL networks to efficiently support different resource allocation sizes and reference signal configurations. Both networks use the transformer, one of cutting-edge neural network architecture, as a backbone for accurate estimation. For computation-efficient global feature extractions, we propose using window and window averaging-based self-attentions. Our results show that TSCE learns wireless propagation channels correctly and outperforms both traditional estimators and baseline DL-based estimators. Additionally, scalability and robustness evaluations are performed, revealing that TSCE is more robust in various environments than the baseline DL-based estimators.
Wireless communication technology developed, portable wireless devices based on wireless network including the smartphone rapidly developed, and products with functions similar to highly efficient computer are being launched. Therefore, active studies to enable performance of works, which were previously held in computers, on portable wireless terminal are being held. Until now, simulation was undertaken using computers which satisfy high performance computing resource. Such contains a problem that it cannot break away the limit of space. Portable wireless terminal has the merit that it can break away from the limit of space by using wireless network in comparison to wired environment. In this paper, it suggests a simulator based on wireless devices for distributed simulation. For such purpose, the performance time of simulation will be compared in regards to the case of performing nodes control simulation in a single highly efficient computer and the case of performing distributed simulation in many wired and wireless network environments. Through the comparison, the possibility for utility of portable wireless terminal as the object of distributed simulation will be verified, and it will be presented that simulation can be performed in a shorter time by performing distributed simulation under various wired and wireless network environments away from the limit of space.

The objective of this thesis is to measure the limit of the real space where wireless Local Area Network(LAN) is used, and to apply this result as reference to set up a real Wireless LAN environment. The organized circumference was composed of Wireless LAN based on IEEE 802.11b of the American standard, and the examination is carried out on the campus. On the real condition of office environment and open space, the ratio of available distance to a signal at each distance was measured and this result was studied as data to embody wireless LAN on the campus. The measurement under an indoor environment was executed under circumstance having two wall and open space, however, was executed respectively under three circumstances : Where no obstacle, where one wall exists, and where two or more walls exist.
Impact detection and health monitoring are very important tasks for civil infrastructures, such as bridges. Piezoceramic based transducers are widely researched for these tasks due to the piezoceramic material's inherent advantages of dual sensing and actuation ability, which enables the active sensing method for structural health monitoring with a network of piezoceramic transducers. Wireless sensor networks, which are easy for deployment, have great potential in health monitoring systems for large civil infrastructures to identify early-age damages. However, most commercial wireless sensor networks are general purpose and may not be optimized for a network of piezoceramic based transducers. Wireless networks of piezoceramic transducers for active sensing have special requirements, such as relatively high sampling rate (at a few-thousand Hz), incorporation of an amplifier for the piezoceramic element for actuation, and low energy consumption for actuation. In this paper, a wireless network is specially designed for piezoceramic transducers to implement impact detection and active sensing for structural health monitoring. A power efficient embedded system is designed to form the wireless sensor network that is capable of high sampling rate. A 32 bit RISC wireless microcontroller is chosen as the main processor. Detailed design of the hardware system and software system of the wireless sensor network is presented in this paper. To verify the functionality of the wireless sensor network, it is deployed on a two-story concrete frame with embedded piezoceramic transducers, and the active sensing property of piezoceramic material is used to detect the damage in the structure. Experimental results show that the wireless sensor network can effectively implement active sensing and impact detection with high sampling rate while maintaining low power consumption by performing offline data processing and minimizing wireless communication.
