한국산 마속(마과)의 외부형태형질에 의한 분류학적 연구 (A taxonomic study of the genus Dioscorea L. (Dioscoreaceae) in Korea based on morphological characters)

  • 한국산 마속(Dioscorea L.) 6분류군(마; D. polystachya, 참마; D. japonica, 부채마; D. nipponica, 단풍마; D. quinqueloba, 각시마; D. tenuipes, 도꼬로마; D. dokoro)을 대상으로 외부형태학적 형질을 관찰하였다. 지하부의 유형, 주아의 형성 유무 등이 마절(Enanatiophyllum)과 부채마절(Stenophora)을 구분하는 유용한 형질로 관찰되었으며, 엽병 기부의 돌기 유무, 꽃의 형태 및 색, 열매의 형태, 종자 날개의 형태 등을 비롯한 약의 위치 와 암술 형태와 같은 미세구조적 형질 등이 종을 식별하는 중요한 형질로 판단되었다. 또한 상기 식별형질을 바탕으로 검색표를 제시하였고, 한반도 내 마속 식물의 분포를 확인하였다.

기선권현망 현용 어구의 전개 성능 (The opening efficiency of the existent net of the anchovy boat seine)

  • This study was conducted in order to improve fishing gear for existent net of the anchovy boat seine. Field experiments were performed to observe geometry of nets by catcher boats. When the distances between the two ships were 100, 300, and 500 m, and the speeds of towing nets were 0.6, 0.9, and 1.2 k't, respectively. The vertical opening and actual opening of each part of the existent net was as follows: the middle part of the wing net, 12.9-26.6 m, 19-39%; the entrance of the inside wing net, 23.3-35.3 m, 40-60%; the square and bosom, 18.4-24.2 m, 37-49%; the entrance of the bag net, 19.0-23.3 m, 79-96%; the flapper, 13.2-15.3 m, 142-161%; and the end of the bag net, 13.2-15.7 m, 51-61%. The actual net opening of each part of the existent nets used in this study was lower than that of the design net height, due to the low net height of the wing net and the inside wing net, it limited a range of the net height of the square and bosom. The opening of the entrance of the bag net caused the net pocket shape and inflated some parts of the nets. The tension of towing nets was measured between 4.4 and 11.0 tons, and it is necessary to reduce the structure and improve the structure of the bag net.

  • In the paper, a study on the analysis of the effects of trailing edge thickness on the aerodynamic characteristics of an airfoil is described. In this research, modification of the formula representing NACA symmetric airfoil is studied to change the airfoil shape with different trailing edge thickness of user's choice. According to the result of aerodynamic characteristics, as the trailing edge thickness increases the maximum lift coefficient increases while the lift-to-drag ratio decreases. In this paper flow calculation results are demonstrated and the analysis on those results and findings on the effects of non-zero thickness of trailing edge are suggested.

  • In this study, adaptation of two-way shape memory effect of SMA wire to the actuator is examined. Therefore the SMA characteristics which are training, material properties, response time at different thermal cycling rates are tested. During training, permanent deformation is accumulated till a certain number of cycle and then saturated. The amount of two-way strain is unchangeable over all cycle and the slope of strain(or stress)-temperature curve is slower as the increase of applied stress. The rate effect is observed resulted from the thermal distribution which heating profile differs from cooling as thermal cycling time. Using the estimated SMA properties, an experimental test for the simple smart wing is performed.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the optimum shape of blank for the crank throw of large marine engine in order to reduce manufacturing cost and forging defects. The effects of the curvature radius and the height of wing part of blank selected as design variables on the defects and machining margin of final products after forging process were investigated using FEA. Based on the results, the optimum shape for the blank of the crank throw was proposed and verified by experiment.

  • There were lots of changes of the wooden structure in the middle of Joseon Dynasty. It was the time of replacement from Jusimpo (simple bracket system) to Ikgong (wing-like bracket system) and each bracket had shown mutual variation as well as itself. The aspects of change were discovered that the decorative elements of Ikgong and Dapo (multi-bracket system) had accepted from each other. It was clearly shown that not only the Ungung (carved cloud-shape) and Chotgaji (shape of the acuminate leaf) of Ikgong had affected to Dapo, but also Gaang (pseudo-pointing cantilever) of Dapo had affected to Ikgong. It was mostly found in the Buddhist architecture because there was the conservatization of ruling hierarchy as well as the active growth of Buddhist society.

  • 터빈 익렬 내의 2차유동손실은 터빈 익렬에서 발생하는 전체 공기역학적 손실의 $30{\sim}50%$ 차지한다. 따라서 터빈 효율 향상에 있어 개선해야 될 중요한 부분으로 인식되고 있다. 또한, 과거부터 2차유동에 의한 손실을 줄이기 위한 많은 연구들이 수행되어졌다. 본 논문에서는 2차유동손실을 일으키는 요인 중의 하나인 말굽와류의 강도를 감쇄시키기 위해 일반적인 날개 앞전에 설치한 판에 대해, 판의 설치 높이, 길이, 폭 및 두께 등의 형상변수를 설계변수로 정하여 이를 최적화 하였다. 연구를 위해 $FLUENT^{TM}$$iSIGHT^{TM}$를 이용하였다. 그리고 기준 모델의 경우보다 전압력 손실 계수가 약 7.5% 향상 되었다.

파노라마방사선사진에 있어서 이차상에 관한 연구 (A STUDY ON SECONDARY IMAGES IN PANORAMIC RADIOGRAPH)

  • This study was performed to observe the secondary images and to analyse the relationships between the primary and secondary images in panoramic radiograph. Using the Moritta's Panex-EC panoramic x-ray machine and the human dry skull, the author analysed 17 radiographs which were selected from 65 radiographs of the dry skull that attached the radiopaque materials, and the attached regions of the radiopaque materials were the normal anatomical structures which were important and selected as a regions for the evaluation of the secondary images effectively. The results were as follows; 1. The cervical vertebrae showed three images. The midline image was the most distorted and less clear, and bilateral images were slightly superimposed over the posterior border of the mandibular ramus. 2. In mandible, the secondary image of the posterior border of the ramus was superimposed on the opposite ramus region, and this image was elongated from the anterior border of the ramus to the lateral side of the posterior border of the ramus. The secondary image of the condyle was observed on the upper area of the coronoid process, the sigmoid notch and the condyle in opposite side. 3. In maxilla, the posterior region of the hard palate showed the secondary image on the lower part of the nasal cavity and the medial wall of the maxillary sinus. 4. The primary images of the occipital condyle and the mastoid process appeared on the same region, and only the secondary image of the occipital condyle was observed symmetrically on the opposite side with similar shape to the primary one. 5. In the cranial base, the anatomical structures of the midsagittal portions like a inferior border of the frontal sinus, sella turcica, inferior borderr of the sphenoid sinus and inferior border of the posterior part of the occipital bone showed the simillar shape between the primary and secondary images symmetrically. 6. The petrous portion of the temporal bone showed the secondary image on the lateral side of the sella-turcica, and the secondary images of the posterior border of lesser wing, superior border of greater wing of the sphenoid bone and posterior border were observed on the anterior-superior and inferior region of the sella-turcica.

유체클러치 터빈 날개의 유형별 유동해석에 대한 융합연구 (A Convergent Investigation on Flow Analysis by Type of Turbine Blade of Fluid Clutch)

  • 본 연구에서는 8개의 터빈 날개면들이 각각 추진축상에서 45°, 40°, 35°의 각도로 기울어져 있는 Model 1, 2 및 3인 3가지 Model의 유체클러치 터빈 날개 형상에 대한 유동 해석들을 수행하였다. 터빈 날개면이 추진축상에서 각도가 크게 기울어질수록 터빈 날개의 뒷면 이후에서의 흐름에서 Model들 중에서 가장 유동 압력을 크게 받고 있음을 알 수 있다. 반면에 터빈 날개면이 추진축상에서 각도가 작게 기울어질수록 유동 속도가 작게 된다. 터빈 날개면이 추진축상에서 각도가 작게 기울어질수록, 즉 유체의 흐름과 수직에 가까운 날개 형상이 효율적으로 유체클러치에 동력을 연결하고 차단하는데 있어서 적합함을 알 수 있다. 유체클러치 터빈 날개 유형별 유동해석을 적용함으로서 본 논문에서의 연구 결과는 미적인 설계를 적용할 수 있는 융합 연구자료로서 유리하다고 여겨진다.
