태양전지용 CdS 박막의 제조 조건에 따른 전기적 광학적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Electrical and Optical Properties of CdS Thin Films Deposited with Different Conditions for Solar Cell Applications)

  • Cadmium sulphide (CdS) thin film, which is used as a window layer of heterojunction solar cell, on the glass substrate was deposited by vacuum evaporation. Effects of deposition conditions such as the source and substrate temperature on electrical and optical properties of CdS films was investigated. As the source temperature was increased, the deposition rate of CdS films was increased. In addition, the optical transmittance and the electrical resistivity of CdS films were decreased as the source temperature was increased. This results were attributed to the increase of excess Cd amount in the film. The crystal structure of CdS films exhibited the hexagonal phase with preferential orientation of the (002) plane. As the substrate temperature was increased, the crystal structure of CdS films was improved and the resistivity of the films was increased due to the decrease of excess Cd in film.

  • Double skin façade is known that several features affected the building energy and daylighting performance. That is why the envelope is able to consist of all architectural materials such as glass, aluminum, wood and insulation for vision of residents and workers in buildings. Its specifications is very diverse according to the building designers and building owners. In recent times, visual environment became a major focus and resulted in the development of cutting edge engineering of diverse glazing systems and shading devices by growing interests of friendly environment. Thus this research has evaluated the fluctuations of interior lighting and atmospheric conditions based on double skin facade systems. Especially in terms of daylighting environment as dependent on solar variations, this research provides quantitative analysis of interior lighting conditions and how it affects the living conditions as well as improve the design of interior spaces.

영일만구 해수의 광학적 특성 (Some Optical Properties at the Mouth of Yeong-il Bay)

  • 바닷물의 광학적 특성을 조사, 연구하는 것은 해양 물리학적인 견지에서 뿐만 아니라 해양 생물학 또는 해양 지질학 분야에서도 꼭 필요하다. 특별히 해양의 기초 생산에서는 수중 광선이 절대적인 필요 요건으로 되어 있으며 해수의 소산계수가 변화하는 것을 가지고 환경 오염을 비교검토할 수 있다.(Ochakovsky, 1966; Jerlov, 1968). 본 연구는 교통부 수로국에서 1971년 4월에서 6월에 걸친 영일만 및 부근 일대 해양 관측시에 수중 조도계를 제작하여 1971년 5월 6일에 영일만 입구의 9개 관측점 에서 조사한 것을 분석하였다. 우리나라 연안이나 근해에서는 아직까지 해수의 광학적인 특성을 가지고 수괴의 분석이나 해황을 설명한 일이 없으며 앞으로 가동될 포항 종합제철 공장이 영일만의 잠재적인 오염원이 될 수 있으므로 이 공장의 가동 전에 영일만에서의 해양광학적인 조사를 하여 이 해역에서 오염 문제를 연구할 때의 기초적인 자료로 제공하고자 한다.

  • 소방자동차를 비롯한 모든 자동차의 비툴립 강성이 약하면 차체에 크혜이 발생함과 동시에 고유진 동수가 낮아져 진동소음 발생의 원인이 된다. 이 논문은 최소한의 중량증가로 비틀림 강성을 최대한 중 가시키는 방안올 제시한 것에 관한 것으로, 방안 검토를 위하여 탄성론을 이용한 이론해석을 실시하였 고, 또한 이의 검증을 위하여 유한요소법에 의한 해석 및 실제 차체를 이용한 실험을 질시하였다. 본 논 문에서 사용한 자동차는 숭용차를 사용하였다. 그 이유는 실험 및 계산이 용이하고, 또한 계산결과를 소방자동차 퉁을 비롯한 모든 자동차에 적용 할 수 있기 때문이다.

  • In this paper, We prepared the thin film Cu-doped CdS Photovoltaic Cell, varying deposition condition by E-beam process and investigated its properties. After the Cu/CdS films were deposited on transparent ITO glass. We heat-treated to diffuse Cu atoms to CdS fi1m at 350[$^{\circ}C$]. With deposited Cu-doped CdS film. We investigated the electrical. optical. X-ray diffraction and junction property. We studied how to prepare the High conversion efficiency Solar cell window layer.

자동 조도 조절 블라인드 시스템 설계 및 제작에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Design and Manufacturing of the Blind System with Auto-controlled Illuminance)

  • A blind system for window glass has been designed and manufactured as a CapStone Design project at Seoul National University of Science and Technology. This system automatically controls the interior illuminance to maintain a uniform temperature. The aim of this project was to support an air conditioning system and heating equipment to maintain a good indoor environment. Proportional integral differential (PID) control using cadmium sulfide (CdS) sensors was applied to control it. Polaroid film was attached to the new blind system to reflect sunlight. It was found that the system had the potential to reduce energy consumption and may be used with a building energy management system (BEMS).

  • In the building, the opening penetrates the wall and serves as a spreading channel for smoke and flame in case of fire. In Korea, more than 1,500 fire plume are generated annually, and the number has increased by about 30% over the past five years. Therefore, in the case of windows protecting the opening, fire protection performance is important to prevent the spread of fire. However, in Korea, the standard for window is not clear. In this study, fire tests (EN 13823) for windows were conducted in Korea, and then fire protection performance of windows was compared. As a result of the experiment, PVC windows showed a phenomenon that they could not withstand the temperature during the fire experiment, and AL windows showed a difference in the degree of cracking of the glass.

  • An electrochromic(EC) cell was constructed using $WO_3$ as a electrochromic material and NiO as a counter electrode, deposited onto ITO-coated glass by the implementation of electron beam evaporation. The electrolytic media were both lithium and proton conducting polymers such as poly-acrylonitrile(PAN)-$LiClO_4$, poly-ethylene oxide(PEO)-$LiClO_4$, poly-vinyl butyral(PVB)-LiCl and PVB-H$_3$$PO_4$. Potentiodynamic cycling of the cells using PAN-$LiClO_4$, or PVB-$H_3$$PO_4$ electrolyte yielded a transmission variation of more than 40% at the wavelength of 632.8 nm within less than 10 sec response time at room temperature. These results indicate that these electrolytes, transparent in gel type, are premising for the application in large area electrochromic windows.

  • Zinc oxide micro rods were fabricated using as chemical bath deposition ok photolithography. Vertically aligned Zinc Oxide rod array as grown by chemical bath deposition method on Zinc Oxide template layer. The ZnO template layer was deposited on glass and the pattering was made by standard photolithography technique. The selective growth of ZnO micro rods were achieved with the masked ZnO template layer substrate. The fabricated ZnO micro rods were found to be single crystalline and have grown along hexagonal c-axis direction of (0002) which is same as the preferred growth orientation of ZnO template layer. The ZnO micro-rod array structure was implemented as a window layer in Cu(InGa)Se2 solar cell and its effect on photovoltaic efficiency was examined.

경계층 이론에 의한 스포일러 선루프의 윈드 디플렉터 설계 (Wind Deflector Design of Spoiler Sunroof by Boundary Theory)

  • Sunroof is getting widely used in automobiles since it maintains, compare to window, better air circulation as well as less noise while driving in high speed. In this study, we consider an electronic control type spoiler sunroof which slides backward after tilting a rear part of a glass. Installing a wind deflector on the sunroof reduces noise much more effectively. The height of the wind deflector is designed using a boundary theory related to incompressible air layer. The developed wind deflector is investigated experimentally by measuring a wind noise. When the height of the wind deflector is designed by a fixed type, the sunroof maintains a very quiet interior noise over a certain driving speed, nevertheless it produces relatively loud noise in low driving speed.
