퇴계 이황의 도덕교육론 - 『성학십도』 체계와 내용을 중심으로 - (Toegye(退溪) Yi Hwang(李滉)'s Moral Education Theory - Focused on the system and contents of the 'Ten Diagrams of Sage Learning')

  • 사람과 사람 사이의 올바른 관계를 추구하는 유학은 수기(修己)와 치인(治人)이라는 논리구조를 통하여 도덕적 개인이 공동체의 발전에 기여하는 이상향을 그린다. 16세기 한국 성리학의 태두인 퇴계 이황은 자신의 교육적 의도와 관심을 반영하고 성리학의 본체와 공부의 전 과정을 그림 열 폭에 정리하여 "성학십도"를 만들었다. "성학십도"에서 표방하는 교육의 목적은 성인(聖人)이 되는데 있으며, 이는 성찰적이며 실천적인 도덕인이 되고자 하는 도덕교육의 목적과도 궁극적으로 그 궤를 같이 한다. "성학십도"의 전체 주제는 경(敬)을 기초로 인륜과 도덕의 원리를 밝혀 인간의 본성을 회복하기 위한 것과 연관된다. 경(敬)은 또한 수양의 목적이자 방법이며, 주요 내용이다. 전통 유학의 교육 방식은 교육의 목적 내용 방법 간의 유기적 통합성을 지향하고 있으며, 내용과 방법에 있어서 지(知)와 행(行)의 병진이라는 일관성을 드러내고 있다. 전통문화가 가지고 있는 보편적 가치를 탐구하고, 전통교육의 측면에서 도덕문화를 다시 일으키는 것은 현재와 미래에 유효한 것들이 과거의 전통으로부터 연원한다는 점을 논의하는 것으로서 오늘의 교육 문제를 해결하는 데 있어서 유용할 수 있다. 특히, 전통교육이 추구했던 도덕교육의 본질을 분석하여 교육의 궁극적 목적인 '자신을 실현하고' '공동체를 배려'할 수 있는 인재를 배양하기 위한 반성적 접근은 매우 의미가 있다.

학교 성교육 효과 (The Effectiveness of School Sexuality Education)

  • Over the last several decades, the debates on school sexuality education program have centered on the specific education topics and its in-depth to be taught for different level of students. Many people, on the whole, worried that sexuality education for the adolescents promote irresponsible sexuality activities and that students become more liberal following sex education(in all ways, not just sexually). At the present time, however, most social leaders agree that school sexuality education program should be developed and implemented as an important part of the formal school curriculum. Because they believe that sexuality education programs will be effective to change irresponsible sexual behavior and prevent sexual risk among teenagers. Researches demonstrate that not all school-based sexuality and AIDS education programs are effective, but that some programs are effective. On the basis of previous studies, the present paper reviewed the beliefs and questions which generate discussion and opposition to sexuality education program at the school. The effectiveness of the educational instruction was also evaluated focused on the reducing specific sexual risk behavior and reinforcement of individual values against sexuality activities. Lastly, this paper proposed several ways and means for effective sexuality education program in general.

수학 교육에서의 도덕성에 대한 연구 - 헤르바르트의 도덕성을 중심으로 - (The study of morality in mathematics education - Focusing on the morality of Herbart -)

  • Herbart's education provides an implication for mathematics education that combine a practical ethics education with mathematics education. Herbart show that an theoretical mathematics education would not exist as a sole. It implies that mathematics education must do activities that take into consideration the humanity in its entirety. The theory of mathematics education based on Herbart's ethics theory of education reveals the entireness of human. There are possible explanations for the ways to increase the value of the mathematics education as an education for whole human. It is that the advantage of learning mathematics is not only that we can solve the problems we face in our lives but also that we can acquire a form of life.

분수의 다양한 의미에서 단위에 대한 초등학교 6학년 학생들의 이해 실태 조사 (Sixth Grade Students' Understanding on Unit as a Foundation of Multiple Interpretations of Fractions)

  • 본 연구에서는 분수 학습을 마친 초등학교 6학년 학생 150명을 대상으로 분수의 5가지 의미에 관한 20개의 문항을 제시하였고, 학생들의 반응을 단위의 이해에 초점을 두어 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 전체-부분으로서의 분수에 익숙한 학생들은 분수의 다른 의미에서도 주어진 전체를 단위로 인식하는 오류를 많이 보였다. 또한, 각 의미별로 단위와 관련된 다양한 반응들이 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 각각의 분수의 의미를 지도할 때 단위와 관련된 강조사항을 확인하여 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

Receiving a donation call to dissection tables: various aspects of whole-body donation in northern union territory region medical college of India

  • Body donation is the act of giving one's body to science for study, practice, and research. This selfless act contributed to the education and training of professionals in the field of medicine. Body donation programs allow medical students to learn about the different aspects of human anatomy, perfect their dissection skills, and develop a better understanding of the relationship between structure and function in the human body. The purpose of article is to improve body donation programs which meet ethical standards and best practices. This article emphasizes the significance of body donation to teaching medical institutions by discussing various aspects of body donation to medical colleges in India and the procedural steps followed, sample proformas and the obstacles faced during the whole process. The process of body donation varies among different countries pertaining to their legal frameworks and the challenges faced. A description of the problems faced in the process of body donation has been discussed with suggestions for potential solutions in this section. The sample formats of the forms filled by donors and the certificates issued by concerned organizations are also provided to clearly understand the process of body donation. The information compiled will pave the way for medical teaching institutions that have yet to start a body donation program.

식품안전 소비자교육 프로그램의 방향과 사례 프로그램 제작 연구 (A Study on the Direction of Consumer Education Program for Food Safety and the Production of Case Programs)

  • The goal of educating consumers regarding food safety is to increase consumer competency in food safety. In order to recognize consumer problems and to develop consumer competency in rapidly changing consumer environment, it is necessary to cultivate consumer knowledge, attitude, and ability on food safety required in performing the consumer role effectively. Within this context, it is necessary to develop consumer-oriented education programs which aim to change consumer values and behaviors with regard to food safety. Based on information obtained from focus group interviews, the need for educational programs for food safety, which are related to the whole process of food consumption, have been raised. The process of food consumption is divided into buying, cooking/eating, and after eating, based on the process of consumer decision making and consumer behavior. Scenarios for consumer education on food safety were developed depending on the process of food consumption. This study developed a pilot consumer education program which included the whole process of food consumption. The program of this study was designed to induce consumers to change their behavior through establishing values on food safety and may contribute to lay the foundation for the realization of food safety culture. The results will be utilized to provide future directions for consumer education programs and efficient educational materials on food safety. Finally, it is hoped that empirical evaluation and analysis on the effects of consumer education programs will be investigated in future studies.

현대 과학교육의 동향과 시스템사고 패러다임의 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study of the Trends of Current Science Education and the System Thinking Paradigm)

  • The purposes of this study are to understand the trends of current science education compared with thinking paradigm and to find the direction of reform in holistic view. It is divided into three parts. Firstly, significant trends of science education during the late 20th century were examined. Secondly, the current society was discussed, particularly focused on the thinking paradigm. Thirdly, the science education trends and thinking paradigms were compared. The results are 1) A major goal of contemporary science education is the scientific literacy, for which the constructivist and STS class are introduced, 2) Thinking paradigm is changing from analytics to systemics, and 3) Compared the current science education and system thinking paradigm, they seem consistent in respect of looking for the whole-part relationship.

수학교육 현상의 융합적 구조에 대한 소론 (The study of Complex structure in phenomenon of Mathematics Education)

  • In the history of mathematics education, different opinions as to how to view the phenomenon of mathematics education have been suggested in various ways. As those conflicting opinions have caused fundamental tensions in the phenomenon of mathematics education, they remain fundamental standpoints that have been continuously advocated until now - not limited in a certain period. It can be argued that this situation was caused by partial or fragmentary understanding of the phenomenon of mathematics education. If we are pursuing not a partial knowledge but a complete understanding of mathematics education, how should it be formed to comprehensively study the entire phenomenon of mathematics education? To answer this question, Complex structure in phenomenon of Mathematics Education can be proposed. It is an explanation for the opposing opinions existing in the phenomenon of mathematics education. The purpose of this paper is to understand the phenomenon of mathematics education as a whole.

마인드 맵 활동을 통한 학교 안전교육의 활성화 (The Mind Mapping To Activate the School Safety Education)

  • Mind mapping is an efficient thinking skill which utilizes the whole left-right brain. The several studies which examine the effects of the mind map activities on the school education attain the desirable enhancement of the students' schoolwork achievement & learning attitude. We now propose the utilization of the mind map activities at the safety education in order to decrease the students' accidents in school and to enhance the awareness of safety.

문제 중심 학습을 통한 초등학교 학생들의 수학적 태도 변화에 대한 연구 (A study on the change of students' attitudes to mathematics via Problem-Centered Learning in the elementary school)

  • Problem-centered learning reflects learning strategy based on constructivism. In this learning, students should find the solution in a small group discussion, and share their solutions with classmates in whole class discussion. So students participate in mathematics instruction actively and interact with other students about the strategies. We expect students would change their attitudes on mathematics and mathematical learning in these processes. In this study, we analyzed students' attitudes on mathematics and mathematical learning when they participated the problem-centered learning program. We found the change of students' attitudes to mathematics via problem-centered learning.
