  • Electrical construction cost index is composed of the cost of albor and material. The producer price index is used to the cost of material. The Bank of Korea restructured the formation method and the basic period of the producer price index in 2013. Because fixed-weighted method can't faithfully reflect industrial structure changes. The weighted value and price index of fixed-weighted method is fixed on the basicp eriod. Electrical construction cost index is changed from fixed-weighted method to chain-weighted method in september 2014, because of these on the need. But the change of organization in formation method changes the weighted value. So there is the need of analysis about the statistical continuity of electrical construction cost index. This study is focused on the time series analysis between fixed-weighted and chain-weighted electrical construction cost index. We uses unit root test, cointegration test, regression analysis of long and short term equation, fitness for the estimation of static forecast as time series analysis. We verify that chain-weighted electrical construction cost index can be replaced to fixed-weighted construction cost index accounting analyses result. So users of it recognize that chain-weighted electrical construction cost index has statistical continuity.

  • The main aim of the study is to provide empirical evidence about the association between stock market exchange data and weighted price index. This research utilized monthly reported data from the Amman stock exchange market (ASE) and the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ). The weighted price index was employed as the dependent variable and the independent variables were weighted price index (WPI), turnover ratio (TOR), number of trading days (NTD), price-earnings ratio (PER), and dividends yield ratio (DY). The time period of the study was from January 2015 to October 2020. The study's methodology follows a quantitative approach using the multiple regression method to test the hypotheses of the study. The final results of the study provided conclusive evidence that the market-weighted price index is strongly and positively correlated to three predetermined variables, namely; turnover ratio, price-earnings ratio, and dividend yield but no evidence was obtained for the effect of the number of trading days. The finding of the current study proved that the market price index is not only influenced by macro factors, but also by other variables assumed to not beneficial for the judgment of price index movements.

  • In this paper, we present exact formulae for the multiplicatively weighted Harary indices of join, tensor product and strong product of graphs in terms of other graph invariants including the Harary index, Zagreb indices and Zagreb coindices. Finally, We apply our result to compute the multiplicatively weighted Harary indices of fan graph, wheel graph and closed fence graph.

  • Electrical construction cost index has been applied fixed-weighted method. But fixed-weighted method can't faithfully reflect industrial structure changes. Because the weighted value and price index of fixed-weighted method is fixed on the basic period. Electrical construction cost index is composed of the cost of labor and material. So it fluctuates sharply whenever the construction association of korea announces the laborer's wage of electrical construction. And it depends on only the producer price index changes that is related to electrical construction since then. So a study is focused on developing electrical construction cost index applied chain-weighted method. Because chain-weighted method can reflect the realities of the electrical construction and alleviate the sudden changes of labor cost with link index. We verify that chain-weighted method relieves the step states of electrical construction cost index applied fixed-weighted method.

  • When a robot hand grasp an object, the number of ways to grasp it stably are infinite and thus an optimal grasp planning is needed to find the optimal grasp points for satisfying the objective of the given task. In this paper, we first define some grasp indices to evaluate the quality of each feasible grasp and then a weighted composite grasp index by combining all of the grasp indices is also defined. Next, we propose a method to find the optimal grasp points of the given object by comparing the defined weighted composite grasp index for each feasible grasp points. By simulation results, we show the effectiveness of the proposed optimal grasp planning method and also discuss the trend of each grasp index as the grasp polygon.

  • The design problem of optimal constant PIDM (proportional-integral-derivative and measurable variable) feedback controller for linear time-invariannt systems is investigated with the time-weighted quadratic performance index. Necessary conditions for an optimality of the controller are derived and an algorithm for computing the optimal feedback gain is presented. It is shown via example that the design mithod using the time-weighted quadratic performance index improves the transient responses of the closed-loop system.

  • An optimization problem minimizing n given time-weighted performance index for discrete-time linear multi-input systems is investigated for the prespecified closed-loop eigenvalues. Necessary conditions for an optimality of the controller that satisfies the specified closed-loop eigenvalues are derived. A computational algorithm solving the optimal constant feedback gain is presented and a numerical example is given to show the effect of a time-weighted performance index on the transient responses.

  • Evaluating the habitat suitability of potential aquaculture sites for cultured species is critical to the sustainable use of tidal flats. This study evaluated the habitat suitability index (HSI) of 12 sites in a tidal flat aquaculture farm at Geunso Bay, Taean, in June 2016. The parameters used to model the suitability index were Growth (water temperature, chlorophyll ${\alpha}$, hydrodynamics), Survival (sediment-sand, mean size, air exposure), and Environment (DO, salinity). The HSI was calculated using weighted and No weighted geometric means. The results showed high habitat suitability at the bay's entrance (HIS; No weighted, 0.60-0.70; weighted, 0.60). Hydrodynamics, air exposure, sediment-sand and mean size are thought to have a significant impact on habitat selection by Manila clams Ruditapes philippinarum. This study explored the optimum habitat for Manila clams by calculating the HSI, providing basic data for tidal flat management.

  • The correlation between regional Walkability Index and their physical socio-economic characteristics has evaluated by the spatial statistical analysis to understand the urban pedestrian environments, where has been emerging the significance, recently. Following to the study, the Walkability Indexes were calculated quantitatively from two administrative districts of Busan and measured Global Local spatial autocorrelation indices. Additionally, the Geographically Weighted Regression model was applied to define the correlation between Walkability Indexes and urban environmental variables. The spatial autocorrelation values and clusters on the Walkability Indexes were derived in statistically significant level. Furthermore, the Geographically Weighted Regression model has been derived more improved inference than the OLS regression model, so as the influence of local level pedestrian environment was identified. The results of this study suggest that the spatial statistical approach can be effective on quantitative assessing the pedestrian environment and navigating their associated factors.

  • In view of the deficiencies of existing weighted similarity indexes, a hierarchical clustering method initialize-expand-merge (IEM) is proposed based on the similarity of common neighbors for community discovery in weighted networks. Firstly, the similarity of the node pair is defined based on the attributes of their common neighbors. Secondly, the most closely related nodes are fast clustered according to their similarity to form initial communities and expand the communities. Finally, communities are merged through maximizing the modularity so as to optimize division results. Experiments are carried out on many weighted networks, which have verified the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. And results show that IEM is superior to weighted common neighbor (CN), weighted Adamic-Adar (AA) and weighted resources allocation (RA) when using the weighted modularity as evaluation index. Moreover, the proposed algorithm can achieve more reasonable community division for weighted networks compared with cluster-recluster-merge-algorithm (CRMA) algorithm.
