The purpose of this study is to identify the current trends and characteristics of Korean internet searchable Web-based biographical resources by analyzing and evaluating in practices. Four among Korean Web-based biographical resources which have the comprehensive scope are chosen and evaluated by the 9 criteria and their detailed features. This study will allow users and reference librarians to more easily choose pertinent biographical references from the many internet resources. It will be also helpful by allowing publishers to produce more effective biographical information in quality.

하나의 웹서비스가 이 와 연동하는 클라이언트와 1회 이상의 연동(interaction)을 필요로 할 경우, 웹서비스에서는 이를 명확히 정의하는 규약이 필요하게 되는데 이를 안무(choreography) 또는 대화(conversation)라 부르며, 총칭하여 협업 웹서비스 기술로 부른다. 최근 W3C는 웹서비스의 안무를 위한WS-CDL(Choreography Description Language)를 개발 중에 있으며, WS-CDL은 웹서비스들 간의 전체적인 안무 교환이나 메시지 교환을 정의 한다. 그러나, WS-CDL은 연결성 (connectivity)이 항상 보장되지 않는 모바일 환경이나 사용자가 이동하는 경우에 사용하기에는 비효율이 따른다. 본 논문에서는 WS-CDL개발 동향에 대 해서 살펴 보고, 가지고 있는 문제점을 보완하기 위한 방안을 제시한다.

The study aimed to analyze the reality of the scientific publishing of the faculty members of the Northern Border University, in both the Web of Science database and the SCOPUS database, with the analysis of publishing indicators and trends for the period between 2008-2020, and the researcher's keenness to apply the bibliometric study research methodology to obtain an account Full and detailed publications indicators under the two databases, including a full analysis of scientific publishing through objective, temporal, quantitative, authors, languages, open access journals, information forms, the most productive authors, the most published scientific journals, the most scientific bodies involved with the university. The study found results, the most important of which is the existence of a high increase in scientific publishing, starting from 2015, with an increase in publishing in the scientific field compared to other disciplines, and that the vast majority of publishing is in the form of articles, as well as publishing in English for the rest of the languages.

In this study, we applied the time series analysis to the randomized controlled trial (RCT) researches related to insomnia for finding international trends. The data used in the analysis of 379 of ClinicalTrials, Web of Science was the of 132 by several keyword related with 'Insomnia' and 'Randomized Clinical Trial'. In ClinicalTials, RCT studies for insomnia, drug, cognitive behavioral therapy, depression were the key words make up the main network. In WOS, 'melatonin' key word was added in the main network. In addition to, we found the characteristic that the elderly and female subjects were steady studied.

This article examines the current status and future trends in library and information services in USA, with particular emphasis on the library automation system, library cooperation, Internet andinformation services, activities of information services organizations. Client/server computing and integrated Web-based technology make it possible for libraries to build a new generation of automated library systems, and digital libraries project is the highest priority. As a cooperative effort among libraries, they formed consortia such as ARL/AAU on the national level. and CIC on the regional level, and GALILEO, LLN, OhioLink, Texshare, VIVA, ILLINET on the state level information netwok. The Internet and the World Wide Web have a huge impact, so American libraries are developing new skills to provide value-added information services using Internet resources. Lastly, recent information activities of the LC, NAL, NLM, ERIC, NTIS are described.

Web novels that are consumed on mobile devices are characterized by capturing one aspect of our society. The purpose of this study was to collect the keywords from web novels, to identify trends of web novels, and further to analyze the covert needs and characteristics of readers in connection with the existing researches. As a result of the analysis, novels with modern backgrounds and adult novels were popular in relation to easily readable and accessible mobile environment. Male characters tend to be ideally depicted in web novels. In contrast, characters with inner scars were popular among female characters. Although this study did not conduct an in-depth analysis of adult novels due to the limitation of web crawling, it is meaningful that this study analyzed modern people's inner needs and characteristics using the para-text like keywords in existing web novel studies that previously lacked quantitative analysis.

During the decades, considerable human interventions to comprehend the web information were increased continually. The successful expansion of the web services made it more complex and required more contributions of the users. Many researchers have tried to improve the comprehension ability of computers in supporting an intelligent web service. One reasonable approach is enriching the information with machine understandable semantics. They applied ontology design, intelligent reasoning and other logical representation schemes to design an infrastructure of the semantic web. For the features, the semantic web is considered as an intelligent access to understanding, transforming, storing, retrieving, and processing the information gathered from heterogeneous, distributed web resources. The goal of this study is firstly to explore the problems that restrict the applications of web services and the basic concepts, languages, and tools of the semantic web. Then we highlight some of the researches, solutions, and projects that have attempted to combine the semantic web and business support, and find out the pros and cons of the approaches. Through the study, we were able to know that the semantic web technology is trying to offer a new and higher level of web service to the online users. The services are overcoming the limitations of traditional web technologies/services. In traditional web services, too much human interventions were needed to seek and interpret the information. The semantic web service, however, is based on machine-understandable semantics and knowledge representation. Therefore, most of information processing activities will be executed by computers. The main elements required to develop a semantic web-based business support are business logics, ontologies, ontology languages, intelligent agents, applications, and etc. In using/managing the infrastructure of the semantic web services, software developers, service consumers, and service providers are the main representatives. Some researchers integrated those technologies, languages, tools, mechanisms, and applications into a semantic web services framework. Therefore, future directions of the semantic web-based business support should be start over from the infrastructure.

This study analyzes recent trends in fashion retailing instigated by the fourth industrial revolution and approaches the trends in terms of the convergence of big data and artificial intelligence. The findings are as below. First, companies like 'Edited' and 'Stylumia' offer solutions that support the strategic decisions of fashion brands and fashion retailers by analyzing big data using artificial intelligence. Second, the convergence of big data and artificial intelligence scales personalized service on the web as examples of 'Coded Couture', 'StitchFix', and 'Thread'. Third, the insights gained from artificial intelligence and big data help create new fashion retailing platforms such as 'Botshop' and 'Lyst'. Last, artificial intelligence and big data assist with design. 'Ivyrevel' designs digital fashion, assisted by a macroscopic perspective on fashion trends, market and consumers through the analysis of big data. The Fourth Industrial Revolution brings changes across all industries that will likely accelerate. The fashion industry is also undergoing many changes with advancements in scientific technology. The convergence of big data and artificial intelligence will play a key role in the future of fast-moving industry like fashion, where fickle tastes of consumers are the main drivers.

The purpose of this study is to report the research trends of Korean medicine treatment for alopecia areata. We investigated the studies on Korean medicine treatments for alopecia areata via searching 4 web databases of Korea. 13 papers were selected, and we classified them according to publication year, published journals, the types of study, research subject, the methods of treatment, confirmation of recurrence, methods of evaluation, and institutional review board(IRB). We analyzed a total of 13 clinical studies of Korean medicine on alopecia areata based on various criteria and reviewed the research trends. Based on this, we suggested points to be improved and supplemented when conducting clinical research on alopecia areata in the future. Clinical studies on alopecia areata started to be published in 2001, and acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, herbal medicines, etc. were used as treatment methods for alopecia areata. Most of the clinical studies on alopecia areata were case studies, so it is thought that various types of clinical studies are needed. In addition, it is necessary to confirm the recurrence of alopecia areata and to improve the awareness of research ethics.

Recently, there has been an increasing trend in the role of social media in tourism marketing. We analyze changes in tourism marketing trends using tourism marketing keywords through social media networks. The aim is to understand marketing trends based on the analyzed data and effectively create, maintain, and manage customers, as well as efficiently supply tourism products. Data was collected using web data from platforms such as Naver, Google, and Daum through TexTom. The data collection period was set for one year, from December 1, 2022, to December 1, 2023. The collected data, after undergoing refinement, was analyzed as keyword networks based on frequency analysis results. Network visualization and CONCOR analysis were conducted using the Ucinet program. The top words in frequency were 'tourists,' 'promotion,' 'travel,' and 'research.' Clusters were categorized into four: tourism field, tourism products, marketing, and motivation for visits. Through this, it was confirmed that tourism marketing is being conducted in various tourism sectors such as MICE, medical tourism, and conventions. Utilizing digital marketing via online platforms, tourism products are promoted to tourists, and unique tourism products are developed to increase city branding and tourism demand through integrated tourism content. We identify trends in tourism marketing, providing tourists with a positive image and contributing to the activation of local tourism.
