  • Roll-to-roll based manufacturing plays an important role in producing devices at high speed with lower production cost in printed electronics and publishing industry. Web lateral control is one of the most important factors in improving the quality of product and contributes a considerable point in making devices at micrometer-level accuracy. In recent years, most algorithms proposed for web lateral control base on the Shelton‘s model for designing the feedback control system using the PI controller. Experimental results showed that the existing models do not fully describe the characteristics of the lateral dynamics for some typical operating conditions and so result in poor control algorithms. In this paper, a new lateral control algorithm is proposed for web lateral control system based on back-stepping approach. The outcome of this study proves the reliability throughout simulation results in Matlab/Simulink and comparison with the algorithms based on the existing results.

  • In this paper we have developed an image security system based on Internet Web in order to overcome the problem of existing systems that use the dedicated network. The developed system resolves the safety problem of the centralized control model by adapting the distributed control model based on Web, and has the functions of remote control and automatic monitoring for grouped multiple sites on Web browser. And the system can operate various computers or operating system because it's operating software was designed by the concepts of Java Virtual Machine and Virtual Instrument. Also, our system has not need of additional cost for network construction by using Internet and can greatly improve the managemental efficiency of system because the maintenance and publishing of software updates can be performed through Web Server.

  • In this paper, web based monitoring systems are implemented using embedded systems. A parallel port connecting parallel I/O is controlled via HTTP protocol and web browser program. HTTP protocol is ported into Linux. A micro web server program and port control program installed on-board memory using CGI to be accessed by web browser. Experimental results of proposed web based monitoring systems can be used in automation systems and remote distributed control systems via internet using web browser.

  • In this study, we have developed a web-based management system for greenhouse teleoperation. The remote control system consisted of a database, a web-server, a controller in greenhouse, and clients. The database in the server stored user's information and greenhouse conditions was used to manage user's login and conditioning data. The management system developed by using Java applet, which was a client program for effective and easy management of greenhouse, monitored the greenhouse in real time. Master and driver boards were installed in the greenhouse control unit. Database on flowering to collect and analyze data exchanged data with the server. The master board could be managed effectively by timer routine, repeat control within setting time, and algorithm of setting points. Also, the greenhouse conditions could be controlled by manual or remote controller(PC) through a web browser in internet. Furthermore, all of the control devices of the greenhouse were managed by remote control of using PC and checked via camera installed in greenhouse. Finally, we showed the experimental results of the system which was installed in Pusan Horticultural Experiment Station.

  • In this paper, we design and implement remote servo motor control system with real-time micro embedded operating system. The system, where controller and camera image grabber are mounted, handles control commands transmitted from a remote PC web browser. A hard real-time servo motor driver running on the real-time micro embedded OS and then a digital control application which confirms precise sampling time intervals is constructed. Frame grabber images transmitted from camera are saved in a image data format to view on remote PC web browser.

  • 본 논문의 목적은 안전한 직무 기반 접근 제어 모델을 웹 기반 응용 시스템에 통합하기 위해 필요한 시스템 모델을 설계하는 것이다. 이를 위해 우선 시스템 아키텍처 설계에 본보기로 활용할 수 있는 유저풀 방식의 시스템 아키텍처 모델을 제안하고, 이 시스템 아키텍처가 웹 기반 응용 시스템에서 실제로 어떻게 직무 기반 접근 제어를 수행하는지를 보여주는 시스템 동작 모델을 제안하고자 한다. 그리고 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템 모델을 기존의 시스템과 비교 분석함으로써 기존 방식에 대한 개선 효과를 제시한다.

  • Driven by the growth of the Internet and the increasing ubiquity of embedded computing systems, the embedded system is exploding in terms of it proliferation of products and the number of complex applications. Intelligent dedicated systems and appliances used in interface, monitoring, communications, and control applications increasingly demand the services of a sophisticated, state-of-the-art operating system. In the case of industrial controller, it is required to use a real-time operating system (RTOS) as a good building block to enable Internet connectivity. However, commercial RTOSes are increasingly less desirable due to their lack of standardization and their inability to keep pace with the rapid evolution of technology. In order to overcome these problems, we consider using embedded Linux and embedded web server. Availability of source code, reduced licensing, reliability, open source community support, as well as others, are key reasons for the use of embedded linux by embedded developers. In this paper, we develop embedded linux platform to control the industrial inverter with the Internet connecting feature. The method of web-based management is also proposed by using the embedded web server and Java applet. We show the feasibility of remote management for the commercial inverter controller with the proposed three-tier web-based remote management system.

초등학생을 위한 웹기반 비만관리 프로그램 개발 (Development of a Web-Based Obesity Management Program for Elementary School Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop a 12-week web-based obesity management program for elementary school students and to evaluate the appropriateness of the developed program from experts and users. Methods: The development of a web-based obesity management program proceeded through the stages of analysis, design, development, and evaluation. After the application of the web-based obesity management program, the evaluation of appropriateness were conducted for knowledge of obesity, obesity control behavior and satisfaction of the program. Collected data has been analyzed using SPSS 19.0. Results: The name of the program developed by this study is healthful weight management and its URL is http://ihealth.or.kr. There were 6 major menus and 18 sub menus including diet, exercise and behavior modification in this program. This study showed that this web-based obesity management program had high satisfaction for a system and increase knowledge of obesity and obesity control behavior for obese children. Conclusion: We expect the web-based obesity management program for elementary school students developed by this study will be able to lead the practice and participation of obese children and decrease the degree of obesity.

웹 기반의 IETF CoAP 프로토콜을 이용한 실내 IoT 자원 제어 서비스 설계 및 구현 (A Design and Implementation of Indoor IoT Resource Control Service using Web-based IETF CoAP Protocol)

  • 최근 모든 사물을 인터넷에 연결하는 IoT(Internet of Things)에서 사물 간의 데이터를 전송하는 통신 프로토콜에 대한 표준화가 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹 기반의 IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force) CoAP(Constrained Application Protocol)을 이용한 실내 IoT 자원 제어 서비스를 설계하고 구현한다. 이를 위해 웹 서버에서 프록시(proxy)와 RD(Resource Directory) 기능을 갖는 웹 기반의 실내 IoT 자원 제어 구조를 제시한다. 실내 IoT 자원 제어 서비스에서는 CoAP 프로토콜을 통해 실내 IoT 자원을 웹 서버에 등록하고, 프록시의 HTTP과 CoAP메시지 변환 기능을 이용하여 인터넷 상에서 웹 클라이언트와 IoT 자원 간 통신을 지원하고, 사용자가 웹 브라우즈를 이용하여 실내 환경을 모니터링하고 제어할 수 있도록 한다.
