With the development of information technology (IT), various information systems (IS) such as Web-based systems and mobile systems have appeared utilizing different technologies. However, recent studies on IS use and user satisfaction rarely account for technological differences among IS and environmental characteristics where IS are intended to be used. The purpose of this research is to investigate the determinants of the use of Web-based ticketing systems for cultural activities and to empirically validate their relationships. Environmental psychology suggests that human beings respond to external stimuli from environments with their emotions, and their emotional states influence human actions, e.g., IS use in this research. Applying environmental psychology to the use of Web-based systems in the culture and entertainment industry, we propose that web site characteristics first influence a user's internal state of mind (i.e., flow) and then the flow state influences the IS use. Studies related to the state of flow collectively affirm the key role played by the flow construct in shaping individual attitudes and behaviors toward IS. Users' flow states are captured by their shopping enjoyment, perceived behavioral control, and the level of concentration on the IS use. Referring to social presence theory, we have included such web site characteristics as content quality, context of web site, and community quality. In our research model, a second order construct is utilized to represent web site quality, because flow theory suggests that holistic experiences with web-based systems (rather than individual characteristics of the web site) are important in explaining the IS use. Further, we have included trust as another important factor influencing the IS use since business transactions on the web encompass higher uncertainty comparing to offline transactions. In order to test our hypotheses, we have conducted an online survey which results in 1,141 valid responses in the final sample. The data were collected from respondents who have experiences in Internet ticketing systems. Although it was a convenient sample, the sample represents a wide variety of user demographics. Validity and reliability of the research instrument were tested and research hypotheses were examined using PLS Graph 3.0. The results indicate that web site characteristics significantly influence the level of user concentration, user's enjoyment in shopping, and perceived behavioral control. Further, the use of Internet ticketing systems is influenced by users' flow states and trust in the web channel. User satisfaction is turned out to be affected by the use of Internet ticketing systems. Unlike extant research on the relationship between web site characteristics and its use, our study has found that, in the culture and entertainment industry, the impact of web site characteristics on IS use is mediated by a user's flow state. This finding has a practical implication that web site design should include as many features that enhance shopping enjoyment and concentration. Other practical implications of these findings and future research implications are also discussed.

The primary goal of this paper is to develop an evaluation model for Web site design that have substantial effects of the performance of marketing and promotion of goods and services of the company. This paper proposes 3 design aspects such as dosing concepts, usability, and artistic coordination. The model also have tested its applicability to real world examples through an appropriate statistical techniques. Then, the model has been actually applied into 6 typical web sites and their design problems are thoroughly investigated and compared each other. Several web site design guidelines are also proposed for web design practitioners.

To help the blind to find the information easily on World Wide Web, this research has tried to develop the device which enables us to convert HTML for the general into HTML for the blind. This program consists of the items as follows: 1. Web Robot to gather the internet browser and the general HTML. 2. Restoring DB by Parsing process 3. Multimedia editor for the use of web DB to add the literal and acoustic description to the editing function. 4. Convertor which gathers the DB and then changes into HTML for the blind. This project is designed to make it easy for the manager to establish the web site for the blind. We expect that this program will basically help the blind to overcome the inequality in the common information.

This study was carried out to reduce children's sugar, natrium and fat intakes and establish their healthy lifestyle. To achieve these goals, we developed an educational web site and an e-learning system. The targets of this web site are children, parents and educators. This site has various information about sugar, natrium and fat, and has special menus for each target: such as the 'Let's study' for children, 'Guides for child's eating' for parents, and 'Educational softwares, Lesson plans/materials, and Textbooks/Teaching guides' for educators. We developed three nutrient characters and applied them to the web site. We provided information in the form of texts, images, flash and sounds. This site has special boards in 'Nutrition cafe' menu to interchange information or their successful stories between the connecters. We developed an e-learning system with two courses. One is for junior elementary students and the other is for senior students. Children can study each nutrient step by step in a course according to their academic ability and concern. Also, they can evaluate their academic achievement in this system, which was uploaded into 'Let's study' in children menu in the web site. Conclusively this web site and e-learning system could contribute to reducing children's sugar, natrium and fat intakes by helping children study them systematically and effectively by on-line system. We expect this e-learning system would be a new nutrition education system to make nutrition education more active.

오늘날 우리는 웹 사이트의 홍수 속에 살고 있으며, 다양한 정보를 얻기 위해서 인터넷을 통해 수많은 웹 사이트에 접속을 하고 있다. 하지만 웹 사이트의 보안성이 담보되지 않는다면, 여러 악의적인 공격들로부터 웹 사이트의 안전성을 확보할 수가 없다. 특히 금전적인 목적, 정치적인 목적 등 다양한 이유로 웹 사이트의 보안 취약점을 악용한 해킹 공격이 증가하고 있다. SQL-Injection, 크로스사이트스크립트(XSS), Drive-By-Download 등 다양한 공격기법들이 사용되고 있으며, 그 기술 또한 갈수록 발전하고 있다. 이와 같은 다양한 해킹 공격들을 방어하기 위해서는 웹 사이트의 개발단계부터 취약점을 제거하여 개발하여야 하지만, 시간 및 비용 등 여러 문제들로 인해 그러지 못하는 것이 현실이다. 이를 보완하기 위해 웹 취약점 점검을 통해 웹 사이트의 취약점을 파악하고 조치하는 것이 중요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 웹 취약점 및 진단기법에 대해 알아보고 실제 웹 취약점 진단 사례를 통해 각 사례별 조치현황에 따른 개발단계에서의 취약점별 조치 우선 순위에 대해 알아보고자 한다.

The purpose of this paper is to propose an analytical model for evaluating Internet Web sites, that is comprehensive and flexible enough to accomodate different categories of Internet Web sites. This paper is intended to identify critical success factors of Internet Web sites to determine criteria for evaluating the Web sites, and use the criteria to develop a framework for comprehensive evaluation of Internet Web sites. The framework consists of eight categories, including design, business functions, trustworthiness, interface, technology, community, contents, and others. An empirical study designed to validated the framework has been conducted for each of the three Web site categories, including (1) information provision, (2) product sale, and (3) customer service. The results show that ‘content ’ is the most important for information provision Web sites, ‘trustworthiness’for product sale Web sites, and ‘design’ for customer service Web sites. The framework may be used not only as a tool to evaluate Internet Web sites, but also as a checklist to improve the quality of a Web site that is under development.

The target of this paper is the development of Web-based monitoring & control system which is for effective and economic management of mold manufacturing process. This system has three module; G-code Control, Monitoring Module and Result analysis module. Also, as the environment of development is based on internet, this system which is possible to the remote site management of manufacturing process works on Web. To be possible to control the manufacturing monitoring by client, each module is made ActiveX control and is based on socket communication. This system makes the foundation which is possible to manage the mold manufacturing process efficiently from remote site by matching real-time monitoring with manufacturing process in factory using G-code control and displaying the result of manufacturing using Ch-CGI.

본 연구에서는 웹 스타일 가이드를 구축하고 있는 해외 5개 대학 도서관 웹사이트의 스타일 가이드를 분석한 후 국내 10개 지역거점대학 도서관의 웹사이트의 구성요소를 추출하여. 공통항목을 도출하였다. 그리고 도서관 웹사이트에 있어서의 사용성(usability)과 접근성(accessibility)에 관한 연구결과들을 적용하여 대학도서관 웹사이트의 전반적인 디자인 흐름에 대한 통일성과 규칙성을 발견하였고 이를 바탕으로 웹사이트에 일관된 시각적 아이덴티티(identity)를 부여하기 위한 요소인 대학도서관 웹 스타일 가이드 요소들을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to design and implementation of project learning site by using XML. The development of the Internet site for project learning was planned as per preparation, development and test/application stages. At the stage of preparation, literature and cases were reviewed to find the elements of design principles needed for development of a project learning program and those required in the actual development. At the stage of development, the elements of the design principles and those for the actual development, both explored from the stage of preparation were used to develop a draft Internet site for project learning. The elements used for the development of the Internet site for project learning were motivation, specification of learning goals, reminiscence of preceding knowledge, positive participation in teaching activities, learning-guide feedback, evaluation, reinforcement and correction. It is changing web based format. XML advent because of HTML limitations of web based internet and expand it's field. XML is able to gather data on HTML of text based format, thus it is possible to control it's inside. It is expected that many teachers apply this model to their classes and show realistic results.

This study aims to derive the sensitive image analysing the color tones based on the web-sites of cosmetic brand and to know how the web-site color tones and the color tone image as visual factor for information transfer do influence the effective communication. 10 cosmetic brand web-sites are selected based on the pre survey, and the main page color tones of cosmetic brand web-site are analyzed by Color Catch and Munsell Conversion program, whereas the composition of color tones and color image such as the main trend colors, secondary colors, accent colors and etc are analyzed by a graphic professional program 'Adobe Photoshop'. 5 color tone groups are classified as Black&White, Green&White, Blue&White, Purple&White and Red&White according to the color distribution chart, and the emotional language is derived applying them to the pre research and IRI image scale. The color association is empirically analyzed by a survey method. The study results finally show Black&White is proper for expression of high quality and modern image, Green&White for pure and clean image, Blue&White for cool and transparent image, Purple&White for mysterious and elegant image respectively. This study results are necessary for plan of color delivering the strong transferring power of visual information the time when to make the effective web-sites, and it hopefully will be utilized as the basic data for the color marketing to actively express the brand identity and to satisfy the consumers' sensitivity.
