The threat of COVID-19 pandemic put many universities in Korea to develop and implement various types of non-face-to-face on-line classes, such as on-line real time class and on-line recorded video class. Online education has been recognized as one of the effective educational methods because of its ubiquitous and flexible educational environments. Even though COVID-19 led to many problems such as faculty's burden and stress during the early stage of COVID-19, both students and faculties have gradually become familiar with on-line environment. As students have got accustomed to the online environment, on-line recorded lectures are shown to be more preferred rather than on-line real time class. Researches regarding the learner's satisfaction of on-line classes during the COVID-19 indicate that systematic and good quality contents and interaction by instructor are important factors. This study, therefore, investigate the learner's satisfaction of online classes in Liberal Arts course using recorded video contents in terms of contents and interaction. The results of empirical analysis reveal that systematic and good quality contents are likely to predict learner's satisfaction and interaction plays a great role in providing those contents. These findings provide insights that preparing systematic contents and interaction are key to enhancing learner's satisfaction of on-line classes in Liberal Arts course.

본 연구는 코로나 바이러스로 인해 본격적으로 활용되고 있는 원격 화상강의 유형이 학습자들의 학업 성취도에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 하였다. 화상강의 유형은 일반적 강의 중심형과 조별과업 중심형 두 가지로 구분하였다. 두 가지 화상강의 유형에 맞게 실험반과 비교반을 설정하였고 두 가지 유형에 따른 학업 성취도의 차이를 파악하기 위해 성취도 테스트와 설문조사가 실시되었다. 성취도 테스트 결과 화상강의 유형에 따른 두 집단 간의 성취도 점수는 유의미하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 화상강의 만족도에 대한 설문 조사 결과 두 집단의 만족도는 모두 높은 것으로 나타났다. 일반 강의 형식으로 진행된 반에서 화상강의에 만족하는 이유로는 학습 효과, 교수자의 수업 준비 및 태도, 수업 참여 촉진이 그 이유로 나왔다. 조별 과업 중심으로 진행된 반에서는 소통과 공유 가능, 조별 토론의 효율성, 조별 과업의 부담 없는 난이도 등이 화상강의에 만족하는 이유로 제시되었다. 언택트 시대 화상강의는 점차 일반화되어 가고 있고 이것의 효율성을 극대화할 수 있는 다양한 교수 전략이 개발되어야 할 것이다.

우리나라는 세계적 IT 강국으로서 인터넷에 대한 기반과 보급률이 세계최고이다. 이에 기반 하여 우리나라 교육시장 에도 많은 변화가 생겼다. 온라인상에서 학습자가 시간과 장소를 구애받지 않고 반복적인 학습이 가능하여 많은 학생들이 동영상 강의를 사용하고 있다. 현재 인터넷 동영상 강의의 활용과 개선점에 대해 연구한다.

Purpose - This study investigated the effects of lectures in the English medium (EML) on understanding and learning outcomes. Sixty percent of EML lectures in Korea also use Korean for further support. Thus, this situation needs to clearly distinguish the specific impacts of the EML classes on learning outcomes. Here, we use the same English materials, including PowerPoint slides and video content, given in the Korean and English lectures. The difference between the lectures becomes only whether the lecture is delivered in Korean or English. Thus, we can clearly identify whether the language difference makes any difference in learning outcomes. Research design, data, and methodology - Our sample consisted of 91 students taking an international business course the spring of 2015. All course materials, including textbooks, PowerPoint slides, exams, video, and support content, were presented in English. Survey data and exam results were used. Students filled out their student identification number and name, so we could match the surveys against the exam results. Results - First, results show that whether the lecture was delivered in English or Korean was an important factor when students chose the class. Second, English proficiency related to international business and general English levels were higher in the English class than in the Korean class. However, the understanding of key concepts and reading abilities of international business newspapers were the same for students in both classes. Third, teaching materials and lectures were the most important material for the understanding of key concepts in the business major. Fourth, the exam results showed no difference in performance of the students in the English versus the Korean class. This shows that EML classes were not necessarily detrimental to the understanding of major concepts of the lecture. Thus, it is important that researchers carefully design empirical settings to study the effectiveness of EML. Conclusions - The English lecture can be as helpful for enhancing knowledge in the business major as the Korean lecture. For further research, various English lecture forms can be considered to distinguish the effects of the English lecture.

본 연구는 학습자의 효과적 학습을 위해 온라인 상 콘텐츠 품질을 구성하는 요소와 오프라인 강의가 콘텐츠 품질을 인식하는데 얼마나 영향을 주는가를 알아보기 위한 연구이다. 다속성 태도모델(multiattribute attitude model)의 속성만족도-중요도 모델(attribute satisfaction-importance model)을 중심으로 온라인 학습에 있어 콘텐츠 품질이 학습태도에 미치는 영향과 오프라인 강의를 병행했을 때의 학습태도(learning attitude) 형성의 변화에 대한 관계를 살펴보고자 한다. 콘텐츠 만족도에 대한 신념(belief)은 콘텐츠 품질을 구성하는 요소로 음성강의, 동영상강의, WBI방식 강의로 나누어 평가한다. 여기에 웹상의 강의와 오프라인 강의를 병행했을 때 형성되는 학습태도의 변화에 대해 연구한다.

정형화 배열이란 연속적이거나 연속적이지 않은 하나의 덩어리로 인식되는 어휘 덩어리이다. 정형화 배열은 언어 발달의 핵심적인 역할을 하는 것으로 정형화 배열의 습득 여부가 언어 발달의 성패를 좌우한다. 본 연구에서는 유학생들의 정형화 배열 학습방안으로 소리 내어 읽기 활동을 제안한다. 서울 소재 대학의 교양 영어 수업을 듣는 유학생 41명을 대상으로 소리 내어 읽기 활동 중심의 수업을 진행하였다. 15주간 동영상 수업과 줌 실시간 수업을 병행하여 진행하였고, 교재는 애니메이션 겨울왕국을 이용하였다. 동영상 수업에서는 교사가 쉬운 한국어로 영화 대본을 해석하였고 정형화 배열을 소리 내어 읽기를 하였다. 학생들은 과제로 정형화 배열이 포함된 문장을 소리 내어 읽고 녹음하여 제출하였다. 실시간 수업에서는 학생들이 동영상 수업에서 학습한 정형화 배열을 소리 내어 읽기 활동을 하였다. 사전 평가 대비 사후 평가에서 정형화 배열 해석하기와 쓰기에서 유의미한 상승이 있었다. 설문에서는 학생들은 수업에 대한 정의적 영역에서 긍정적인 견해를 나타냈다.

본 연구의 목적은 공공데이터 포털에 공개된 성남시 도서관 강좌정보 데이터를 토대로 코로나19 발생 이전과 이후 시점의 프로그램 개설 현황을 분석해 포스트 코로나에 대비한 프로그램 운영 방안을 제안하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 성남시에서 업로드한 파일의 중복 및 오류 데이터 정제 과정을 거쳐 정리한 1,317건의 데이터를 바탕으로 ①프로그램 주제 및 형태 구분, ②프로그램 대상 이용자 분포, ③프로그램 개설 형태(온라인/오프라인), ④프로그램 개설 시기 및 운영 일수, ⑤이용자들이 선호하는 프로그램의 특성에 대한 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 코로나19 이전에는 온라인 강좌가 개설된 바 없으나, 2020년 8월 이후부터 온라인 강좌가 본격적으로 개설되었다. 또한 2019년은 영유아 및 초등학생을 대상으로 한 체험활동 강좌가 많았으나 2020년은 성인과 초등학생을 대상으로 한 독서활동 강좌가 증가했다. 온라인 강좌 형태는 온라인 화상회의 프로그램을 이용한 실시간 강의, 유튜브 영상 시청 및 라이브 방송, 네이버 밴드 및 카페 활용 등으로 다양하게 나타났다.

교육현장에서 영상물 콘텐츠를 활용한 교육이 갈수록 그 중요성을 얻고 있다. 본 연구는 대학생들이 영상물 활용교육의 목적을 어떻게 인식하는지 또 어떠한 방식의 영상물 콘텐츠 활용교육을 중요하게 생각하는지 그리고 영상 콘텐츠 활용교육과 논리적 능력향상은 어떤 상관관계를 갖는다고 인식하는지에 대하여 조사했다. 대학생들을 심층 인터뷰한 결과 영상 콘텐츠는 강의내용의 이해를 위한 매력적인 교수법의 하나로 인식되었으며 비록 간접적이기는 하지만 언론 현장의 생생한 현상들과 실제 사례들을 학습할 수 있는 좋은 기회를 제공해준다고 인식하고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 영상 콘텐츠 활용은 학생들의 논리적 능력을 제고시킬 수 있는 매우 효과적인 학습방법이라고 인식하는 것으로 분석되었다.

In this paper, we propose an improvement plan to increase the learning effect and satisfaction through the PBL - related video design class. PBL To prepare for the Fourth Industrial Revolution era, we must acquire diverse knowledge and skills to discover problems and solve them creatively. Therefore, various learning methods are being studied, and one of them is PBL learning. PBL is a learner-centered education that explores problems that may arise from specific topics other than existing curriculum-based education methods and finds solutions to problems. In this study, two lectures on video design related to video contents and image contents were taught in PBL class, and PBL class problem was analyzed and the improvement plan was studied.
