Bootstrap Analysis of ILSTS035 Microsatellite Locus in Hanwoo Chromosome 6

  • We selected, in previous research, a major DNA Marker 235bp of ILSTS035 microsatellite locus in progeny test Hanwoo chromosome 6. We apply a major DNA Marker 235bp to perormance valuation Hanwoo chomosome 6. We use bootstrap BCa method and calculate confidence interval. A major DNA Marker 235bp is verified that it does not have environmental effect but affects primely economic trait factor.

An Empirical Study on extracting significant technology valuation index of IT SMES (IT중소벤처 유의적 기술평가항목추출에 관한 실증연구)

  • The objective of the study is to verify the discriminatory power of valuation indexes in predicting IT small and medium sized manufacturing firms' going concern or firms' failure. The result of the study is expected to be useful in loan evaluation, investment decision, internal management decision making and business improvement. The results of study is as follows. First, we find that at least six valuation index elements are significant ex-ante variable which are discriminating between firms' going concern and firms' failure in IT small and medium sized manufacturing firms in various analysis' results. Second, these index elements are composed of 2 indexes-the ability of technology R&D, the efficient strategy of market penetration and six index elements explain 46% of the total variance. This explainable power of these indexed is similar to that of the existing 16 index elements. Finally, we find that the most important success factor of IT small and medium sized manufacturing firms are the ability of technology R&D and the efficient strategy of market penetration.

The Influential Factor Analysis in the Technology Valuation of The Agri-Food Industry and the Simulation-Based Valuation Analysis (농식품 산업의 기술평가 영향요인 분석과 시뮬레이션 기반 기술평가 비교)

  • Since 2011, DCF(Discounted Cash Flow) method has been used initiatively for valuating R&D technology assets in the agricultural food industry and recently technology valuation based on royalties comparison among technology transfer transactions has been also carried out in parallel when evaluating the technology assets such as new seed development technologies. Since the DCF method which has been known until now has many input variables to be estimated, sophisticated estimation has been demanded at the time of technology valuation. In addition, considering more similar trading cases when applying sales transaction comparison or industry norm method based on information of technology transfer royalty, it is an important issue that should be taken into account in the same way in the Agri-Food industry. The main input variables used for technology valuation in the Agri-Food industry are life cycle of technology asset, the financial information related to the Agri-Food industry, discount rate, and technology contribution rate. The latest infrastructure building and data updating related to technology valuation has been carried out on a regular basis in the evaluation organization of the Agri-Food segment. This study verifies the key variables that give the most important impact on the results for the existing technology valuation in the Agri-Food industry and clarifies the difference between the existing valuation result and the outcome by referring the support information that is derived through the latest input information applied in DCF method. In addition, while presenting the scheme to complement fragment information which the latest input data just influence result of technology valuation, we tried to perform comparative analysis between the existing valuation results and the evaluated outcome after the latest of reference data for making a decision the input values to be estimated in DCF. To perform these analyzes, it was first selected the representative cases evaluated past in the Agri-Food industry, applied a sensitivity analysis for input variables based on these selected cases, and then executed a simulation analysis utilizing the key input variables derived from sensitivity analysis. The results of this study is to provide the information which there are the need for modernization of the data related to the input variables that are utilized during valuating technology assets in the Agri-Food sector and for building the infrastructure of the key input variables in DCF. Therefore it is expected to provide more fruitful information about the results of valuation.

  • Objective evaluation of the resources of industrial heritage regeneration area is an important prerequisite for design and improvement. The purpose of the study is to comprehensively evaluate the value of the industrial heritage regeneration area. This study identifies the method (model), combining the qualitative factor and quantitative factor. (1) Establish an evaluation system (AHP Hierarchy) based on the resources of regeneration area; (2) Choose an evaluation way based on the type of resource; (3) Calculate the value and total value of various resources in the area. The research is a case study of Canal 5 resort. It expounds the using process of the method and gets the rank and total value of each type of resource in this area, the factors influencing the value (mainly concerned with income), etc. The conclusion is that the value of the reclaimed land should be composed of both the use value and the non-use value; the same factor has different influence on different resources; different factors influence one resource to different extents.

  • The mobile commerce (m-commerce) has very high market value unlike other technology innovation areas in IT industries and also changing rapidly. Therefore, it is fact that the development of the effective business strategy is challenging in a digital convergence era of m-commerce context. In most of the researches, m-commerce has dealt with conceptual study such as establishment of definition. There are not many studies of influence of information valuation evaluation on users' satisfaction have done so far. In this paper, we have reported a theoretical study as well as empirical analysis and examined an influence of information valuation evaluation have on users' satisfaction. A questionnaire was constructed and data were collected from 192 users of m-commerce system. The results indicated that users' satisfaction was affected by information valuation evaluation and difference between cost satisfaction and service quality satisfaction according to users' specialty.

A study on Analysis of Human Sensibility Word in Water Bodies (수공간의 감성 어휘 분석에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the words that represent the human sensibility for the water space. The selection of certain words for human sensibility valuation is very important things because of make standard for human sensibility valuation in water bodies. At the first step of the research, 129 words were collected from the subjects by imagination in group of specialist, studies on water space, studies on landscape valuation and studies on human sensibility valuation in out door environmental. At the second step, the suitability test was done and 39 words collected over an average 3.5 point. This words test was 5 point measure to similarity water bodies. At the third step, the factor analysis, cluster analysis, Multi Dimensional Scaling was performed on data, and 9 words were selected from the analysis. Finally, selected comfortable words for human sensibility valuation in water space is hands-on experience, natural, sensibility, harmony, clear, good-feeling, dynamic, free-heart, romantic. The significance of the present study is that it contributes the progress of uncovering the axis of the human sensibility by carefully selecting the words that represent the human sensibility.

  • Since technological innovation is such an important factor that it can determine a company's economic growth and competitive enhancement, all the companies make lots of investments and efforts for technological innovation. As outcomes of technological innovation, there are patents, trademark and copyrights, etc. and they are mostly approved as a legal right called 'Intellectual Property Right'. To activate such an intellectual property right, financing techniques are needed for enterprises to raise funds through collaterals, such as technological and intellectual patents. In reality, however, any IP-related financial system is not really activated due to the lack of surety-related regulations in Korea. Thus, on the premise that it is important to carry out an objective and reliable valuation on IP as a collateral for the activation of IP finance, this study intends to investigate various different methods of patent valuation needed for IP finance.

  • The innovation is an important element controlling national economic growth and the competitive power reinforcement of the company. The developed nations concentrate interest on upbringing and investment in knowledge intensive industry and advanced technology base industry for national competitive power reinforcement. I support in particular it as Korean representative industry in the case of the advanced technology base industry positively in the government. Though a patent can become the important competition predominance element of the company by such an advanced technology base industry, this and the proof study in the country to be concerned with are the facts that are not enough now. As for the article of the book, what kind of difference there is in importance by IT and BT industry distinction comment on current events value factors of the patent valuation; of the study is aimed. I derived an importance factor among factors shown in the valuation model of the patent valuation organization and an existing precedent study for comparison analysis in the study and used it. In addition, it was analysis hello it utilized AHP technique, and what kind of difference patent value evaluation important factors showed by IT and BT industry distinction.   • Recently, it has been observed that as the level of Science and Technology in Korea is improving, the demand for technology transfer from overseas buyers is also increasing. A technical value is an important factor for the technology transfer process and the valuation of technology should be performed reasonably. Specifically, a non-economical value has to be examined thoroughly when conducting the valuation for a technology that depends on public values. Since public technology has public benefit as its purpose when compared to technology from the private sector, its discount rate should be appropriately assessed and reflected in its valuation process. In this context, this study presents the methodology of valuation of public technology particularly relating to the transfer of technology from the national defense industries. To be specific, both an application method of the discount rate according to the characteristics and the purpose of the target technology and a qualitative and quantitative evaluation method to reflect the public values are presented. The proposed method for the valuation of defense technology could be used practically both in strengthening bargaining capability based on the reasonably derived technical values for transfer of national defense technology abroad and in the compilation of budgets for technology development in the future.

  • In case of the Grand Performance Hall, in view of its distinctiveness, since various Assembly Activity as well as Lecture together with the use for Music are important besides the purpose of Performance itself, the consideration with regard to the sound environment which enables to minimize the acoustic defect has appeared on the stage as an essential factor. On this viewpoint, this Study has attempted to examine the acoustic satisfaction degree and its response regarding to the grand performance hall by means of the measurement and valuation about the psychological volume of human-being using the auditory-evoked technology that possible to experience the Virtual Sound Field at the designing stage, after practice of the optimized acoustic design for the object of the grand performance hall on the step of construction. As the result of auditory-evocation, it was known that the valuation about the acoustic performance after reformation has been improved affirmatively than before reformation. It is considered that such outcome of the study could be utilized as the useful material that enables to improve the curtailment effect of construction cost and the acoustic performance, by means of the presupposition control about the acoustic problem from the stage of design, for the occasion when the similar Performance Hall is planning to build, hereafter.
