  • In the construction, VR(Virtual Reality) is simply used by users to implement and experience 3D modeling in virtual reality, such as safety, practical education, and promotion. The VR related research includes content development and visualization simulation such as disaster safety evacuation simulation and design education contents. Research on developing suitable VR and presenting directionality is insufficient, which is required in practice. Therefore, in this study, prior to the development of VR suitable for the construction, quantitative evaluation, and analysis based on the judgment of experts are performed. However, the research was conducted on the design stages, which are believed to have high needs and application effects of VR during the lifecycle of construction. There are nine tasks that can be applied to VR in the design stage, and these tasks were evaluated and analyzed using IPA(Importance Performance Analysis) by surveying the level of expectations, importance, and performance. As a result, it was evaluated and analyzed that VR and content development was necessary for the review of member interference and collaboration work for decision making among related stakeholders. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for the development of VR to be applied in the design stage to the future.

  • This study aims to the effectiveness of physical examination using VR contents to solve problems such as the increase in chronic diseases and shortage of professional manpower in the health care field according to the aging and low birth rate, and to provide efficient healthcare. Therefore, this study implemented a one-stop VR content physical examination system by wearing HTC VIVE Pro VR and a stick controller. The system is from step 1 to step 5, and the final body age is determined and a simple solution is provided through five steps sequentially: color blind test, memory test, audiogram test, reaction speed test, and instantaneous cognitive ability test. In addition, for the one-stop VR content physical examination system developed by this study, as a result of verifying the user satisfaction for normal people who visited the health examination center and VR/AR clinical trial center of certified tertiary hospital in Daejeon, the overall satisfaction and the intention to reuse Was high, and according to gender, there was a significant difference in the 5-step test, and according to the age, there were significant differences in the 4-step test and the 5-step test.

  • This video is based on the newly emerged next-generation Media 360 VR. With the development of technology, digital content has developed and the opening of the COVID-19 pandemic untact era, people have found content that they can enjoy without going directly. 360 VR is a next-generation media that allows users to enjoy content in a three-dimensional manner as if they went to the site without having to go to the site. Using this, we would like to study the effective creation of local promotional videos.

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop simulations that can be used for virtual education in dentistry. This development goal is to allow dental students to learn the necessary surgical techniques at the point of their choice, not going into the operating room, away from time, space, and physical limits. In this paper configuration, the optimization method is applied convergent, and when the operation of the VR contents is performed, the content data is extracted from the interaction analysis formed in the VR engine, and the data is processed by the content algorithm. It also computes events and dental operations generated within the 3D engine programming and generates corresponding events through data processing according to the input signal. The visualization information is output to the HMD using the rendering information. In addition, the operating room environment was constructed by studying lighting and material for actual operating room environment. We applied the ratio of actual space to virtual space and the ratio between character and actual person to create a spatial composition at a similar rate to actual space.

  • Virtual reality technology is a new practical technology developed in the 20th century. In recent years, the related industry is rapidly developing due to the continuous development and improvement of virtual reality (VR) technology, and various image contents that are realistic through the use of virtual reality technology provide users with a better visual experience. In addition, it has excellent characteristics in terms of interaction and imagination, so a bright prospect can be expected in the field of video content production. This paper introduced the types of display of VR video, technology, and how users view VR video at the current stage. In addition, the difference in resolution between the past VR equipment and the current equipment was compared and analyzed, and the reason why the resolution affects the VR image was explored. Among the future development of VR video, we will present some development directions and provide convenience to people.

  • The purpose of this study was to present a educational content developed for training of dental extraction skill in a virtual environment. The development of the content consists of five steps: learning content analysis, draw a design model, development, test of validity, rectification and complete of the content. We developed the virtual reality (VR) simulator with producing an animation of surgical stages on the 3D models of human face for simulating dental extraction procedure. The results of validity tests for the content were mean 4.81 (SD, 0.72) for interface validity and mean 4.66 (SD, 0.71) for content validity, which represents strong evidence for the validity of the content. The data of the study indicates that the educational content developed for training of dental extraction skill using VR technology can be suitable to improve surgical skill of dental extraction in clinical field. We expect that further development of the education contents based on the VR technology to improve various surgical skills in clinical field will be addressed in the future.

  • With the development of realistic content technology and related infrastructure, interest in the use of virtual reality content is growing. Accordingly, in the field of safety education, more and more cases of producing virtual reality-based safety education (VR safety education) contents such as experiencing disaster situations realistically by supplementing the shortcomings of existing lecture-style education. This study looked at the characteristics and effects of VR safety education compared to the existing safety education, and analyzed 104 VR safety education contents produced and disclosed to date into nine classifications based on content and form. Based on the degree of relevance between items and the two axes of 'interactionability' and 'vividness of the environment', VR safety education contents could be categorized into three types: tangible lecture type, simulation type, and game type. Through this study, we hope to contribute to the planning and production of quality VR safety education contents by considering the purpose of safety education and the characteristics of types with the expected effects.

  • In this study, presents geographic analysis of Heuksando Island We classified each area of the island according to physical attributes. Then, we derived the meaning of each area as a physical space and virtual space. In order to symbolize the events that happens around the spaces, we set directions and relations for those spaces. In this process, we figured the stages of voluntary experience that originates from the user's actions. This study proposes hierarchical categories of virtual environments from spacial reality, experience and the creation of simulacrum.

  • With the development of the information and communication technology, tourism items or products based on new technology is created or developed for tourists. This study examines tourist's satisfaction about VR program, "Secret Wind Forest", which is the story of Gotjawal, one of famous Jeju eco-tourism attraction. In order to achieve the study goal, it identified a study model from the previous studies. It collected data using survey from visitors who used VR program. The total of 227 questionnaires was utilized for data analysis. Based on the study model, it accepted five hypotheses (H1~H5), which are as follows. Firstly, individual innovativeness has a significant effect on perceived usefulness. Secondly, individual innovativeness influenced perceived usefulness, and perceived usefulness and ease influenced usage satisfaction. These results have both theoretical and practical contribution in terms of the development to tourist products using VR program. Academics can provide basic theories such as tourism activities, behaviors, and attitudes to tourism consumer-related studies on VR tourism program in terms of content application. Practically, it can help tourist marketers who want to use VR tourism program and content developers who use VR devices to construct VR program stories using tourism resources and to plan and execute contents considering the target market.
