This study shows decision-making process for selection of cutoff wall on a wastewater treatment project. There are 10 different cut-off wall methods So, we examine the site to gather information for find appropriate methods. After using that information, 10 cutoff wall methods are reviewed for analysis. Through brainstorming, four alternatives are selected for design VE item. Following the standard VE process, we established performance criteria and evaluated function score(F) using questionnaire. The questionnaires, brainstorming and AHP method for weighting on performance criteria and evaluate function score increased the reliability of this selection process. Water Jet method, one of four methods, has the best function score(F=92.71) and the lease construction cost(as cost index 1,000). The value score also highest as 92.7, so we select the method. The result is value innovation type In addition, the authors try to calculate the environmental burden in selection process using LCA. We cannot conduct the full LCA as defined ISO, so perform Simple LCA In LCA result, the cut-off grouting has the least environmental burden as index 9.09E+01 and Water Jet method has following as the second. To selection best method to specific area and purpose, design VE/LCG process used as useful tool and it is needed to develop integrated method that evaluate VEILCC and LCA as one-set process.

Function analysis and idea creation phase in Value Engineering(VE) Process is applied to manufacturing Industry for developing functions for elements of products, and in construction come to use various components like process, size of project, spaces as well as function itself due to multi-functional aspect. For this reason, VE applications to the construction industry are considered to be less frequent and efficient than to the manufacturing. To resolve this problem, a new technique of Function Integration Fast(HI FAST) and Hierarchical Value Engineering Concept Modules(HVECM) was made for practical integration and sequence of VE job Plan. Two types of function would be defined In this method, first and second function, during the job Plan process, and two function champions be selected for next creation phase process. For verification of consecutiveness of function analysis and idea creation phase for successful VE project implementation, this methodology was tested under design phase in office and IT Multi-functional building project. Make sure the successful application of this process with this method, need to develop the talent of VE experts and team members for process of function analysis and creation phase.

In most PFI(Private Finance Initiative) projects in Korea, the project management are in charge of the Special Purpose Company(SPC) established for carrying out the project. This paper is a case study about an owner CM executed by the organizations and staffs of SPC itself. : Seoulbeltway (Ilsan $\~$ Toegaewon) Private Investment Project. In time management area, the SfC was the leader of project management throughout the life circle - plan, design, permit, construction, operation and maintenance - beyond the schedule manager's role. In cost management area, the methods of reducing the total costs by VE, new technologies, etc. has been needed assuming the construction risks were subject to SPC.

The problem of common difficulties for the implemented business that imposing the Value Engineering(VE) is crucial. Because of the difference in effect of VE by how an abstract concept as function digitize. Furthermore, to improve achievement of VE,, the advancement of VE is demanded. The most of business conducting the VE is pushing this method with the purpose of cost reduction. As explaining this product, the cost occupies the desktop of F1 and the component of product 54% with the result of analyzing the coefficient of functional requirement. Then the functional cost can be confirmed. Through the result of this study, the fact that the desktop, the bluetooth, the probe occupy the most of products with satisfying the function is able to confirm. An effort for cost reduction in purchasing through adjusting a stable quality demanded for the cost reduction is needed. Also, another effort of proper price reduction by diversification of buyer business is needed also.

현재 국내외의 많은 기업들이 고객과의 효율적인 커뮤니케이션을 위해 IMC 전략을 수립하고 있으며, 최근에는 인터넷 기술과 합쳐져 IMC 전략의 효율성 증대에 많은 변화를 가져오고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내 주택시장에서 두산건설과 인터넷 패션전문업체인 웹넷코리아가 공동으로 We've 아파트 분양과정에서 시행된 on-line과 off-line 판매촉진의 통합적 활용과정과 성과에 대해 설명하였다. Off-line 행사와 함께 진행된 3차례에 걸친 판촉행사는 site traffic 증대, 판촉행사 참여, 그리고 분양현장으로의 고객유인과 구매에 이르기까지 높은 성과를 거둔 것으로 나타났다.

The construction of Pusan National University Yangsan Hospital is a new construction of a medical town in Yangsan. It is a case that CMr participated in the project from planning to post-completion. It shows an actual proof of Construction Management business applied CM by each phase. In this case, CMr selected the design-build contractor in the planning phase and technically performed CM businesses in every single phase such as design and construction schedule management regarding application of Fast Track technique, procurement management and contract administration in phases based on the Fast-tract; technique, design review, VE in the design phase, change order management in the construction phase and operating and maintenance in the post-construction phase. This study would go far toward applying CM to Mega Turnkey projects by analyzing the problems of CMr's practical application to the project and providing guidelines for effective and efficient CM business implementation especially in the Turnkey projects.

Owners, local autonumous entities, have a burden on operating project for the lack of their management capacity such as specialty and human resources. In this reason, they want to perform project with CM methods. But there have been only a few case of CM operation and application in a huge construction project. The complex formations of CM and responsible management are used in those project. This situation originates in the lack of CM specialist. Because the CM service used in those case is generally performed as the mixture of responsible management service and design management service, it is not the prototype of CM. The purposes of this study are to present the solutions to the problems concerned with the design development phase management, design phase VE, the application of Fast-Track, PMIS operation and CM execution, etc, and establish the plan to perform CM services efficiently in the public sector through analyzing the case of CM application in Gwangjin-Gu Culture & Sports Center.

VE of the scripture season enterprises and it respected LCC analyzes from the research which it sees and to use AHP techniques and definite LCC techniques and probabilistic LCC techniques selects the optimum route the case study which it executed. It presented the quality rating model in about the resultant most route lascivious at the time of VE evaluation, in order to select the alternative of optimum AHP techniques which are one in decision-making technique and an evaluation item by weight and a grade it applied the mountaintop it did. Also the definite LCC analyzer law departments of existing together it applied the probabilistic LCC techniques which use Monte Carlo Simulation in about analytical prices and reliability height boil. The economical efficiency was excellent with VE/LCC analytical resultant route and facility size abridgment, the rivers most it will be able to minimize an environmental effect with short distance traverse, the selection this hit preparation LCC which separates from the land use side decreased, the value (V) above 22.0% with the fact that it improves. And, the reliability of the probabilistic LCC analytical resultant analytical results in compliance with Monte Carlo Simulation with 90.3% was very analyzed with the fact that it is a high level.

The satisfaction of customers from the design stage of product was investigated and reflected by the stage of important function analysis in the enforcement of technique. The goal of this research is worked one reasonable function analysis of the cost reduction and quality enhancement to spread out by using QFD (Quality Function Development). In the case study, the function analysis of VE under the this theoretical background applied to one personal functional combination stimulator. In order to get our goal, the theoretical and case study was in parallel studied each other. This result shows that the new product by using the satisfaction of customers and the quality function development is pointed out the coincidence of the product value.

We have put considerable time and work to find a proper solution to restore the damaged natural environment due to Dam construction, and to restore the field around Dam on the basis of Environmentally Sound Sustainable Development(E.S.S.D). We've replaced the site which had been used as a equipment space with the natural-oriented park, have made a wildlife corridor for those animals which have been living in the area in a newly constructed road to in an out, and have introduced a streamside plant to organize green-space. We've received incredible favor from visitors and residents for the environment restoration. The natural-oriented park plays a role of giving the citizens to the pleasure and the comfort.
