공공제도 서비스품질 모델의 개발과 적용 (Development and Application of Service Quality Model for Public System)

  • The development of an appropriate public service quality model has become increasingly recognised as an important subject of interest in the public sector as well as academia. In particular, the public systems enacted by governments are widely used and have a significant impact on national competitiveness. But few researches have been conducted to explore the quality dimensions of a public system service and empirically examine the relationship among related variables. Therefore, in this study, we strive to develop a quality measurement model of public system service that can be effectively used in practice. Using 601 samples gathered through a structured survey from project engineers, a conceptual quality model of public system is presented and discussed. Given the exploratory nature of this study, an exploratory factor analysis is used to investigate quality dimensions and partial least square (PLS) is employed in determining the structural relationships. From empirical results, we found that the quality dimensions of the public system had four distinct quality dimensions (design quality, environment quality, primary outcome quality, additive outcome quality). All four quality dimensions showed good representative factors in explaining user satisfaction. Perceived trust was proved to significantly mediate the relationship between quality dimensions and user satisfaction. Our research is expected to contribute to the literature by providing a good conceptual framework for assessing public system quality by linking four quality dimensions with user satisfaction. In particular, the developed model can elaborately measure process quality and multi-functional outcome quality of the system by the supplementation of design quality and additive outcome quality respectively. Practical implications are also suggested on the basis of our analysis.

  • ITS 사업의 일환으로 교통정보 제공시스템이 점점 확대되어 다양한 매체를 통해 운전자에게 정보전달이 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 ITS 시스템의 구축은 어느 정도 이루어졌으며, 이제는 시스템의 효과적인 운영과 관리를 위한 평가의 중요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 VMS 교통정보제공시스템에 초점을 맞추어 이에 대한 효과적인 평가 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 특히 시스템이 가지는 여러 가지 편익항목들 중에서 이용자의 심리적 만족감 측면에서, 평가가 이루어질 수 있도록 정보제공수준과 이용자 만족도의 관계식을 도출하였다. 연속류 도로는 진출입이 매우 제한적인 도로이기 때문에, VMS 교통정보는 운전자들이 의사결정을 하는데 매우 큰 역할을 한다. 이에 따라 이용자 중심에서 VMS 정보제공수준을 평가할 수 있는 방안을 제시함으로써 평가는 물론, 시스템의 확대나 구축의 목표 서비스수준으로도 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구를 보완하여 시스템의 개별적인 특성과 VMS의 다양한 기능을 함께 고려한다면 좀 더 체계적인 평가방안이 마련될 수 있을 것이다.

최종이용자탐색시스템의 이용과 이용자의 인지적 특성간의 관계 연구 (A Study of Users' Cognitive Characteristics Influencing upon the Usage of End-User Searching Systems)

  • The purpose of this study is to find personal characteristics that affect users' cognitive characteristics of system, and to verify correlations between this users' cognitive characteristics and selection of system usage in using end -user searching systems (EUSS), For corroborative analysis of this study, preliminary model was constructed referring to Davis' Technology Acceptance Model. The model consists of exogenous variables (personal characteristics) , parameter variables (perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use), and effect variables (selection of system usage), When exogenous variables affect parameter variables, exogenous variables are independent variables and parameter variables are dependent variables. In addition, in correlation of parameter variables, which have been affected by exogenous variables, with effect variables, parameter variables are independent variables and effect variables are dependent variables, As for the research methodology, this study regards the Academic Information System connected with the Internet as EUSS, So questionnaires have been sent to researchers in universities who were conducting direct searching for the system. 229 valid responses to questionnaires have been analyzed according to Pearson Correlation Analysis and Stepwise Selection of Multiple Regression in the statistical software packages, 'SPSS PC+'. The findings and conclusions made in this study are summarized as follows; 1. Among the personal characteristics (age, disciplinary, computer literacy level, perceived usefulness of use education and training, perceived satisfaction of end-user searching, perceived satisfaction of system characteristics), all characteristics but age affect perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Specifically, perceived satisfaction of end user searching and perceived satisfaction of system characteristics most affect perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use respectively. 2. Perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have a direct effect on selection of system usage in using EUSS. 3, Perceived usefulness more affect selection of system usage than perceived ease of use in using EUSS.

TUI 환경의 유저 사용 만족도 연구 (A study on user satisfaction in TUI environment)

  • An interface in smart device environment is changing to TUI(touch user interface) environment where a system is being controlled by physical touch, differently from a system controlled through conventional mouse and keyboard. What is more important than anything else in this TUI environment is to implement interface in consideration of learn ability and cognitive constructivism according to user's experience. Therefore, now is the time when it is necessary to carry out various studies on smart content design process going a step farther together with discussing the details of user's experience factor. Hence, this study was intended to look into what effect a user's experiential traits had on the production of contents for the purpose of measures for improving TUI user satisfaction in order to effectively realize contents in smart environment. Results were yielded by using a statistical empirical analysis such as cross-tabulation analysis according to important variable and user, paired t-test, multiple response analysis, and preference frequency analysis of user preference on the basis of a survey. As a result, a system was presented for implementing DFSS(Design For Six Sigma) process. TUI experience factor can be divided into direct habitual experience, direct learning experience, indirect habitual experience, and indirect learning experience. And in the results of study, it was possible to find that the important variables of this study had a positive effect on the improvement of use satisfaction with contents on the whole according to the user convenience of smart contents. This study is expected to have a positive effect on efficient smart device-based contents production by providing objective information according to empirical analysis to smart media-based developer and designer and presenting a model for improving the changed TUI usability.

어린이도서관 웹사이트 이용자 만족도 분석: D 어린이도서관 사례중심으로 (An Analysis of User Satisfaction on a Case of D Children's Library Website)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 우리나라 어린이도서관 웹사이트를 이용하는 이용자의 만족도를 분석하고 나아가 이용자 만족도, 충성도, 불평도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하는 것이다. 이 연구에서 사용된 만족도 분석 방법은 김희섭과 박용재의 모형을 수정하여 사용하였으며, 이용자 만족도는 크게 콘텐츠품질, 서비스품질, 그리고 시스템품질의 세 가지 차원으로 나누었다. 자료 수집은 D 어린이도서관 이용자를 대상으로 설문지를 통하여 이루어졌으며, 수집된 자료 중 유효자료 130부를 SPSS 18로 분석하였다. 분석결과 어린이도서관 이용자의 만족도가 높을수록 충성도는 높았지만 이와는 반대로 불평도는 낮게 나타났다. 이용자 만족도와 유의한 상관관계를 보인 요인들로는 (1) 콘텐츠 차원에서는 유용성, 정확성, 이해용이성, 신뢰성, 최신성, (2) 서비스 차원에서는 유형성, 신뢰성, 응답성, 공감성, 그리고 (3) 시스템 차원에서는 응답시간, 상호작용, 접근용이성, 사용용이성 등으로 나타났다.

유비쿼터스 서비스의 지속적 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구: 유비쿼터스 시스템적 특성과 서비스 품질 요인을 중심으로 (A Study on Factors Affecting the Continued Usage Intention of Ubiquitous Services)

  • Ubiquitous computing is enhancing computer use by making many computers available throughout the physical environment without being noticed to the users. To facilitate successful adoption and diffusion of ubiquitous systems, it is important to find out the factors affecting their uses. Although researches related to ubiquitous computing have been vigorously conducted from the aspect of system and service provider, there have been very few studies that focus on the user's perspective. This study attempts to find out major factors which are dedicated to the development of ubiquitous systems and services and the relationships between these factors and user satisfaction factors. This study derived the specific factors that characterize ubiquitous services, such as ubiquity, contextual offer, user affinity, privacy, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. We also considered service quality factors of ubiquitous services. Then these factors were combined with the Expectation Confirmation Theory (ECT) model and the path analysis was applied to find out the factors affecting user satisfaction and the intention to use the systems. The research findings indicate that ubiquity, contextual offer, privacy, reliability, and responsiveness affect the perceived usefulness. The perceived ease of use and confirmation were found to affect the perceived usefulness. The perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and confirmation fumed out to influence the satisfaction. It turned out that the result of this study on the relationship between the perceived usefulness and user satisfaction was identical with the findings in previous related ECT researches. We think this study makes two significant contributions to the development of ubiquitous services. First, this study provides basic implications for better ubiquitous services by considering important characteristics of ubiquitous systems as services. Second, this study also suggests important factors that need to be considered when ubiquitous service providers develop new ubiquitous services to improve user satisfaction and the intention to use the services.

비대면 채널 유형에 따른 이용자 만족도 비교 분석 연구 : 토픽모델링을 활용하여 (A comparative analysis of user satisfaction according to non-face-to-face channel types : Using topic modeling)

  • COVID-19 이후 교육 산업 분야는 많은 활동이 비대면 채널로 전환하였으며, 엔데믹인 현재에도 많은 프로그램이 비대면 채널로 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 비대면으로 운영된 실시간/비실시간 채널 이용자 만족도에 미치는 품질 요인을 분석하고 두 채널의 차이를 비교하고자 한다. 이를 위해 서울 H 대학에서 운영된 동일 내용의 실시간/비실시간 채널의 대학원생 대상 비교과프로그램 수강자 리뷰를 분석하였다. 토픽 모델링을 통해 도출된 비대면 학습 품질 요인은 교육시스템 품질, 콘텐츠 품질, 강사 품질, 기대 일치이며, 해당 품질 요인과 관련된 설문 응답을 통해 이용자 만족도에 미치는 영향을 실증 분석하였다. 그 결과 해당 품질 요인 모두 만족도에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치고, 두 채널 간 만족도 요인에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 실시간 채널은 콘텐츠 자체 개선에, 비실시간 채널은 프로그램 운영 시스템 편의성 개선이 이용자 만족도 향상에 효과적이라는 시사점을 제시하였다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다.

공공도서관의 실내현황 및 사용자 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Interior Conditions of Public Libraries and Satisfaction of User)

  • This study examined the various functions of public libraries, as well as user satisfaction and needs. We targeted 6 public libraries in the Seoul and Gyunggi area. After 280 library users were surveyed, the collected data were analyzed with an SPSS for Win 14.0 statistics program, where we used frequency, percentage, mean, T-test, One-way ANOVA, and Duncan's test. The major findings were as follows: 1) Half of the users used educational functional space, mainly in the 10-20 age group, who used it for educational purposes as a student or to prepare for getting a job. 2) There were gaps between the furniture arrangement and user preference since most libraries used a rigid system while users preferred a more flexible arrangement. 3) Space by space, public library satisfaction levels differed according to the users' gender and age. Satisfaction of the digital information room scored high, especially for users in their forties. Since public library users are diverse and require various functions, library interiors should be planned accordingly in terms of furniture arrangement and interior design. In particular, there was a gap between satisfaction by age groups, so libraries must account for community needs by considering the age group demographics of their surrounding areas.
