The Influence Factors on Usage and Performance of Group Support System (GSS 사용과 성과 요인 : TAM, TTF, 조직구조화이론(AST) 혼합모형)

  • This study investigates the effects of individual and group level factors on the use of GSS (Group Support System) and task performance from GSS use. GSS facilitates the group work, so that GSS adoption is not necessarily influenced only by individual perceptions on information systems as TAM insists. Adaptive Structuration. Theory (AST) joins with TAM in our study to explain the adoption and success from GSS use. AST contends that the success of IS is not necessarily the technical fit between tasks and technology, instead the political outcome among user socializations. We found that collected data from 303 individual IT staffs in a national bank. Our results demonstrate that traditional theories on TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) need to be refined, when considering the TTF(task-technology fit). TTF render high influences on PU(perceived usefulness). PEU(perceived ease of use) and FOA(faithfulness on appropriation). And FOA influences highly on our dependent variable. Implications and directions for future research are discussed.

Factors Affecting the Intention to Use of Smart-Phone Banking Service: A Case of Chinese Users (스마트폰 뱅킹서비스 수용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인: 중국 사례)

  • In this paper we investigate the factors influencing the intention to use of smart-phone mobile banking service in China. We include the characteristics of smart-phone, mobile banking service, and users to the research model and also consider user satisfaction as an intervening variable. We try to find and prove the factors influencing the intention to use of smart-phone mobile banking service by surveying 206 chinese users and using structural equation model. This empirical paper proves that mobility, instance connectivity, use convenience, and intimacy give positive effects to intention to use of smart-phone mobile banking service. In addition, this paper indicates some managerial implications that mobility, access speed and the easy user interface can help to increase the degree of user acceptance.

  • The importance of hi-tech communications technology including mobile or ubiquitous system and the related business field is currently expanding. In terms of wellness for enhancing quality of individual life, ICT technology became a requirement, not an option. The first purpose of this study is to identify factors that influence user's perceived usefulness & perceived ease of use related to the acceptance of TAM focused on ubiquitous fitness service through multiple regression analysis, thereby discovering important factors influencing consumer behavior. In conjunction with the result, the second purpose of this study has also its implication on the u-Healthcare system development using QFD. That is, this research is to propose the possibility of combining the external variables of TAM to u-Healthcare system service characteristics with user requirement reflected by using QFD method. Based on these results, the suitable system may be constructed and developed.

  • research on user-friendly experience design is crucial to reduce resistance and enhance acceptance of robotaxis. This study analyzes the prioritization of design factors in robotaxi systems and provides design guidelines based on user experience. Using the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) technique, users' perceived importance of four primary design factors and sixteen 16 sub-design elements were assessed, and comfort and safety were top priorities. The results showed that the artificial intelligence agent was the most critical design factor, followed by driving guidance information, interior design, and exterior design. These findings offer valuable insights for robotaxi professionals, and could assist in informed decision-making and creating user-centered design guidelines.

  • This study is to find the key factors of the Internet of Things for development in public sector. In previous studies, it is said that Internet of Things can work digital system without human operation and gives a lot of outputs(information) users. Generally, people are a subject of operating digital system in traditional way, while people are an object on the internet of things. In other words, it is possible to work digital system with only networking from things to things. After all, it is reported that these advantages of the Internet of Things make possible to reduce social costs significantly in public sector. However, despite the strengths of the Internet of Things, there is a specific user acceptance of the technology factor for the Internet of Things rarely. It means that developing of the Internet of Things only focuses on the final purpose. If the focus on development meet this purpose, the user is ignored for the specific reason that using a technique. As a result of this, many users gradually decrease the continuous using of the Internet of Things. Thus, in this study, we need to find what critical factors should reflect to the Internet of Things in public sector. To find this result, there is no choice to use Technology Acceptance Model(TAM). Many researchers have proved that Technology Acceptance Model is valid through the four process in model introduction, confirmation, expansion and refinement from 1986 to 2003. The results of this study showed that the result explanatory power of Internet of Things in public sector is the most important factor affecting only perceived social usefulness and ease of use. Finally, it can be seen that the user has a positive attitude toward use, which has a positive effect on the intention to use continuously. The implications of this study are summarized as follows: When the public Internet of Things service is provided, it means that the user can easily understand the result, and when the person and the object communicate the result to each other, they should be able to communicate with each other. This means that a lot of user effort is needed to understand the outcome of the public Internet of Things being provided.

  • The innovation cluster is formed by cooperation and networking among a number of actors, including companies, universities, research institutes, government and other supporting organizations, but the main subject of innovation in the venture ecosystem, which can be said to be the core of the innovation cluster, is the enterprise. Therefore, enterprises in innovation cluster can be seen as a major user of the innovation cluster policy. In order for the policy to be executed smoothly, policy acceptance is important. However, existing research on policy prioritization tends to be centered on policy providers, so it is necessary to check them from the perspective of policy users. Accordingly, this study conducted discussions from a two-way perspective to establish the correct policy direction through a balanced perspective between a policy provider-centered top-down perspective and a policy user's bottom-up perspective. First, the factors for activating the innovation cluster (three factors in the first level and 14 factors in the second level) were derived through prior research and expert interviews. After that, the importance of the factors for activating the innovation cluster was analyzed using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) for the policy provider group and the user group in the Daedeok Innopolis, a representative case of innovation cluster policy. As a result of analyzing the importance of the innovation cluster activation factors from the perspectives of policy providers and users, some similarities were also seen, but overall differences in mutual perception were found. It was found that the policy provider group focused on innovation creation factors, while the policy user group viewed innovation creation, clusters, and industrial location factors from a more balanced perspective. This study is meaningful in that it deals with both perspectives in a balanced way by expanding the targets from the existing policy provider-centered research to policy users. In addition, practical contributions exist in the aspect of providing basic data so that policies can be carried out based on corporate needs in fostering innovation clusters.

  • Despite skepticism about commercial potential, the stereoscopic 3D cinema is still a form that any filmmaker can choose to employ for its aesthetics and its immersive potential. Based on a haptic illusion, the stereoscopic media content requires a new perspective different from the principle of 2D media content in terms of creation and acceptance. This paper examines the technical and aesthetic issues of stereoscopic 3D film production from the perspective of today's emerging realistic and immersive media through a case study. One of the key factors for successful content creation and research and development in stereoscopic 3D cinema is the combination of artistic principles together with technical mastering of the new image technology. The purpose of this paper is to outline the principal challenges and research topics in stereoscopic 3D cinema through a case study of stereoscopic 3D pilot film production for the 'User-Selective UHD Stereoscopic Media Service Platform' of the ETRI (Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute). This paper intends to examine stereoscopic 3D filmmaking workflow and production methodologies, as well as technical elements and aesthetic issues.

A Study on the Factors Influencing Continuous Intention to Use of OTT Service Users: Focused on the Extension of Technology Acceptance Model (OTT서비스 이용자의 지속사용의도 영향 요인에 관한 연구: 기술수용모델의 확장을 중심으로)

  • This study verified the factors influencing continuous intention to use of OTT service users through technology acceptance model and extension. For this purpose, the main results were derived through correlation analysis and path analysis using SPSS 21.0 program and AMOS 21.0 program. The summary is as follows. First, perceived ease of use was found to have a statistically significant positive effect on perceived usefulness. Second, perceived ease of use did not have a statistically significant effect on continuous intention to use. Third, the perceived usefulness has a statistically significant positive effect on continuous intention to use. Fourth, perceived innovativeness has a statistically significant positive effect on perceived ease of use. Fifth, perceived innovativeness has a statistically significant positive effect on continuous intention to use. Sixth, perceived playfulness has a statistically significant positive effect on continuous intention to use. The above results will be meaningful in that it has revealed a path to understand the extension of the technology acceptance model of OTT services and acceptance of OTT services.

  • The study analyzed how the user uses the smart mobile device to assess the effects of the user's acceptance factor and user-factors affecting the work performance of Public Agencies. And Prove that leveraging smart devices can improve your business performance, It was aimed at making strategic recommendations to improve the suitability of smart mobile devices and Tasks. Smart mobile devices User Innovation has affected Usefulness, such as B=.296. p.000, it also affected Perceived Ease-of-Use, such as B=.326, p.000. job fitness has affected Perceived Ease-of-Use, such as B=.261, p.001. Usefulness and Ease-of-Use had a positive affect on work performance. Each of affect on much of B=.382 and B=.488(p.000). At the conclusion, it has been validated that the effects of smart mobile devices user Innovation and job fitness on work performances are mediated by perceived usability and perceived ease of use of the smart mobile device.

Factors Influencing User Satisfaction with University Library Websites in Myanmar

  • This study aims to develop a comprehensive technological framework anchored in a theoretical model to assess user satisfaction with university library websites (ULWs) in Myanmar. Adopting a quantitative approach, data were obtained via convenience sampling and subsequent inferential analysis. The target population for this study investigated users of various ULWs in Myanmar who were utilizing six university libraries. Of the collected responses, 273 valid surveys were analyzed using SPSS (version 25) and AMOS. Tools such as structural equation modeling and confirmatory factor analysis played pivotal roles in data interpretation and hypothesis validation. The proposed model highlights the significance of information quality, system quality, and librarian services in influencing both perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived ease of use (PEOU), culminating in user satisfaction. Notably, information quality and librarian services primarily impact PU, while system quality is more influential on PEOU. Interestingly, while PU has a direct bearing on user satisfaction, PEOU does not. Moreover, demographic elements such as age, gender, and education level introduce considerable differences in the utilization of ULW services. Drawing from the study's findings, recommendations are made for ULW managers in Myanmar to bolster services, aligning with user preferences. The resulting framework offers tangible benefits to Myanmar's educational sector, including academia, government entities, librarians, and policy framers. This pioneering research delves into the realm of ULWs in Myanmar's higher education sector. Practically, the research underscores the necessity for stakeholders, encompassing Myanmar's library experts and governing bodies, to elevate the standard of ULWs. Theoretically, a salient takeaway is the direct linkage between heightened usefulness and increased user satisfaction.
