무인 경량전철 가용도 산정 및 검증에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Estimation and Verification of the Availability of the Unmanned Light Railway)

  • Unattended Train operation(UTO) requires higher safety target than other systems, since all train operations are automatic. The system provider to deliver without accident or failure, and the operator to transport passengers without accident by putting all trains supplied, including them, into service. Safety rates without such failures can be represented as indicators of RAMS, among which availability is continuously controllable to achieve the target, with a clear target. Availability is often required by the licensee from the initial stage of the project to demonstrate that the request for proposal (RFP) is usually specified and to maintain separate availability targets at the operational stage. In particular, unlike unmanned operation light rail in complex systems, simple formulas are often presented to facilitate verification at each stage. This paper presents this method of usability calculation in an integrated manner at all levels and analyzes the existing usability values to ensure reliability of the availability formula for integrated use in unmanned light rail systems.

OECD 국가들과 한국 학생들 간 ICT 접근성과 활용성 연구-2015년 데이터를 중심으로 (A Study on ICT Usability and Availability of Between Korean Students and OECD Students : Focus on PISA 2015)

  • 우리사회의 모든 분야에서 4차 산업혁명의 소용돌이 속에 있다. 교육도 예외가 아니다. 4차산업의 교육에 소프트웨어가 그 중심에 있다는 것을 모두 다 알 고 있다. 소프트웨어 교육을 잘 하기 위해서 ICT에 대한 학생들의 배경 조사가 중요하다. OECD PISA에서 학생들의 ICT 능력에 대한 배경조사를 2003년부터 3년 주기로 조사하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 2017년 4월에 발표한 자료를 기반으로 PISA ICT 통계자료를 분석한다. 학생들의 배경 조사 항목인 81개의 항목들 중에 접근성, 활용성 항목들을 비교 분석한다. 활용성과 접근성을 선형 회귀 분석으로 분석한 결과 우리나라는 OECD 국가 중 최하위였다. ICT 접근성은 30개국 중에 28위이고, ICT 활용성은 31개국 중에 31위이다. 이는 2008년부터 우리나라에서 ICT 교육을 체계적으로 실시하지 않는 점이 그대 반영되었다. 앞으로 미래 사회의 주역이 될 학생들을 위해서 2000년도에 실시한 ICT 교육을 빨리 실시해야 한다.

UML-ITS Usability Evaluation of Intelligent Tutoring System

  • The most effective tutoring method is one-on-one, face-to-face in-person human tutoring. However, due to the limited availability of human tutors, computer-based alternatives have been developed. These software based alternatives are called Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS) which are used to tutor students in different domains. Although ITS performance is inferior to that of human teachers, the field is growing and has recently become very popular. User interfaces play key role in usability perspective of ITS. Even though ITS research has advanced, the majority of the work has concentrated on learning sciences while mostly disregarding user interfaces. Because of this, the present ITS includes effective learning modules but a less effective interface design. Usability is one approach to gauge a software's performance, while "ease of use" is one way to assess a software's quality. This paper measures the usability effectiveness of an ITS which is designed to teach Object-Oriented (OO) analysis and design concepts using Unified Modeling Language (UML). Computer Supported Usability Questionnaire (CSUQ) survey was conducted for usability evaluation of UML-ITS. According to participants' responses to the system's usability survey, all responses lie between 1 to 3 scale points which indicate that the participants were satisfied and comfortable with most of the system's interface features.

교육서비스품질이 교육만족도와 직무유용성에 미치는 영향: 외식조리 관련 계약학과 학생을 중심으로 (The Effect of Educational Service Quality on Educational Satisfaction and Job Availability: Focused on Foodservice related Contract Department Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of educational service quality on educational satisfaction and job usability. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, based on the theoretical background, factor analysis and reliability analysis were conducted. Five factors of tangibility, responsibility, reactivity, assurance, and empathy were found in the educational service quality. In addition, it was confirmed that there was no problem as a single factor in educational satisfaction and job availability, and these factors showed high reliability and validity. Second, in the relationship between educational service quality and educational satisfaction, all five factors which education service quality factors were found to affect educational satisfaction. The higher the factor of educational service quality, the students will be able to increase their satisfaction with education, which was a degree of satisfaction with the education of contract department. Third, in the effects of educational service quality factors on job availability, tangibility, responsibility, reactivity, and assurance have no effect and empathy affects job availability. In this study, although the factors of education service quality is high except empathy, it is not possible to increase the job availability that leads to successful business results. Fourth, job availability affects educational satisfaction. Therefore, the higher the level of job availability, educational satisfaction will also increase. The following are implications of this study. First, high-quality lectures, hands-on training, and educational programs are needed and values that students pursue must continuously increase. Second, there is a need for measures to improve job availability such as the formation of curriculum related to jobs and the demand for the training courses of restaurants.

PISA 2015 데이터를 기반으로 예비 교사들의 ICT 능력에 대한 연구 (A Study on ICT Competency of Preliminary Teachers Based on PISA 2015 Data)

  • 2019년부터 우리나라 초등학교에서 소프트웨어 교육을 실시한다. 비록 17시간의 소프트웨어 교육을 실시하지만 예비 교사들이 소프트웨어 교육을 실시할 수 있는 기초 소양을 갖추어야 한다. 이에 우리나라 예비 교사들이 소프트웨어 교육을 할 수 있는 기본 소양을 갖추었는지 객관적으로 비교할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 OECD PISA의 2015년 질문지를 기반으로 예비교사들의 ICT 능력을 조사한다. 조사 내용은 ICT 접근성과 활용성이다. 비교 분석 대상은 OECD 국가들의 학생들이다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 학교에서의 ICT 활용성이 2.56수준으로 최고로 높았고, 학교에서의 ICT 접근성은 2.4이다. 학교이외에서 학교 수업과제 등에 이용하는 경우는 2.38수준으로 높았고, 학교이외에서의 접근성은 2.33으로 낮았고, 학교이외에서 수업 과제이외의 일반적인 활용성은 1.79 수준으로 매우 낮았다. 예비교사들의 ICT 능력이 매우 필요하고 이러한 능력을 기르기 위해서는 교육대학의 교육과정에서 ICT 교육과 더불어 각 교과에서 활용할 수 있는 ICT 교육을 할 필요가 있다.

공공도서관의 패싯 내비게이션에 관한 연구 (A Study on Faceted Navigation of the Public Libraries)

  • 이 논문의 목적은 영미권 공공도서관의 패싯 내비게이션 분석을 통해서 국내 공공도서관 이용자에게 적합한 패싯 내비게이션을 구축하기 위한 것이다. 국내 공공도서관 19개와 영미권 공공도서관 12개를 선정하여 패싯 내비게이션의 고유한 패싯들을 분석하였다. 국내 공공도서관의 패싯은 대학도서관의 패싯과 차이가 없었지만, 미국과 캐나다 공공도서관은 공공도서관만의 고유한 패싯을 포함하고 있었다. 그 패싯들은 이용자 계층, 문학형식, 유사자료추천(library list), 이용자 생성 태그, 이용자가 대출할 수 있는 도서와 도서관에서만 이용할 수 있는 도서, 온라인으로 접근할 수 있는 도서로 나누어서 제시하는 이용자의 사용성을 증진시키기 위한 패싯들이라고 할 수 있다. 이러한 패싯들을 통합서지용 KORMARC 008 부호화정보필드를 활용하여 국내 공공도서관에 적용함으로써, 공공도서관 이용자의 도서관 목록을 이용한 검색 편의성을 높일 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

동작한계 예측을 위한 해석적 알고리즘의 개발 (Development of an analytic algorithm for reach prediction)

  • Today, rapid development and timeliness of introducing a new product be- comes a more influencing factor of determing its competitive power due to a shortened product cycle, while rapid improvement of manufacturing technology makes product design and manufacturing fuse together. This implies that prod- uct usability evaluation and improvement starts right from its design phase, resulting in less development time and cost. To make this possible, proper as- sessment of human reach is one of essential functions for ergonomic product us- ability evaluation, specifically in the platform of computer-aided ergonomic evaluation models or any CAD system with a built-in man model. In this study, an analytic reach prediction algorithm ensuring the posture that human naturally takes, is presented by employing the methods developed for robot kinematics. Among robot kinematic methods for solving the multi-link system, the resolved motion method was found to be effective to solve human reach as a redundant manipulator model. Also, the joint range availability was used as a performance fonction to guarantee human naturalness. The result is expected to be directly applicable to product usability evaluations.

Correlations between Users' Characteristics and Preferred Features of Web-Based OPAC Evaluation

  • This paper examines the correlations between user characteristics and their perferences for two selected features of Web-based OPAC systems. User characteristics identified in this study were age, gender, educational status, computer skills and OPAC experience. Usability features included interaction styles, character and image on screen, browsing and navigating style, screen layout, and ease of learning, whereas availability features attended to availability of information, quality of information and up-to-date information. Individual variables and features are described, and the correlation between the variables and the features are explored using Pearson's correlation coefficient(r). Although based on a small-scale sample survey, a considerably large number of statistically significant correlations were found between the users' characteristics and the selected evaluation features of interactive Web-based OPACs. From these observations, it seems to be suitable to recommend that system designers should make a more considered appraisal of the users' demographic characteristics in the design of the new generation of OPAC such as in user-tailored interactive Web-based OPAC systems.

마라도에서의 경량항공기 비상착륙 가능성에 대한 연구 (The study of the possibility Emergency Landing for LSA in Marado)

  • In this study, we surveyed the Marado status of the availability of emergency runway for the LSA, through site visits. For the future progress Marado flight tour operation, for LSA of 4 models with respect to just in case there was an emergency situation analysis of the availability of emergency runway. We analyzed the problems of the sloping runway with the changing elements for the kinetic and potential energy. The Bingo and CH-650 models of LSA are usability emergency runway of Marado for take-off and landing. But the AT-4 and CTLS models of LSA are limited or impossible to use emergency runway of the Marado.

훼손 토양의 미생물군집 효소 활성과 기질 이용성 특성 (Characteristics of Microbial Community Enzyme Activity and Substrate Availability of Damaged Soil )

  • The effect of soil damage on the physicochemical characteristics and activity of the soil microbial community is not well known. This study investigates this relationship by analyzing 11 soil samples collected from various points of soil damage across Gyeonggi-do. Soil damage resulted from forest fires, landslides, and development areas, with their impacts most severe on the topsoil layer (0-30 cm). Dehydrogenase and β-glucosidase activities were notably higher at locations damaged by forest fires compared to other sites. While enzyme activities in soils influenced by landslides and development areas were relatively low, sites with a pollution history exhibited elevated dehydrogenase activity, likely due to past microbial response to the pollution. Additionally, an assessment of carbon substrate usability by soil microorganisms indicated higher substrate availability in areas impacted by forest fires, contrasting with lower availability in landslide and development sites. Statistical analysis revealed a positive correlation between organic content of sand and clay and microbial activity. These findings provide valuable insights into soil damage and associated restoration research, as well as management strategies.
