시변 시간지연을 갖는 네트워크 제어 시스템의 H 제어 (H Control of Networked Control Systems with Two Additive Time-varying Delays)

  • This paper presents a stabilization method for NCS (Networked Control Systems) with two additive time-varying delays. Each time delay component between the plant and the controller has different characteristics depending on communication network, and has the upper and lower bounds. The time delay occurring from the controller to the plant has an effect on the time delay occurring from the plant to the controller, and the relationship between two delays is taken into account on the stability analysis. Based on the two additive delay components and the bound conditions, the appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and the LMI (Linear Matrix Inequality) method derive the stability condition and the $H_{\infty}$ norm constraint for time-varying delayed NCS. Simulation results are finally given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

편심압출굽힘가공법에 의한 사각형 단면을 가진 중공 튜브제품의 U형굽힘가공에 관한 연구 (A Study on the U-bending of Rectangular Hollow Tube by the Eccentric Extrusion and Bending Process)

  • The eccentric extrusion and bending process for the forming of the curved rectangular hollow tube is newly developed. Generally the bending process of hollow tube is the secondary process followed by the extrusion process of the hollow tube from the round billet. So many defects such as wrinkling and the difference of wall thickness can be happened during the secondary bending process. In order to avoid the defects the new process named as "the eccentric extrusion and bending process" is suggested and applied to the U-bending of rectangular hollow tube. In this paper the kinematically admissible velocity field between the dies surface and the internal plug boundary surface s developed for the curving velocity. By the using of this curving velocity field the curvature of extruded products can be calculated with the parameters such as eccentricity dies length friction constant aspect ratio.

  • The optimal extrusion process for the rate sensitive materials have been developed in this study. The preliminary designs of the die shapes have been carried out to maintain constant strain rate during extrusion and the upper bound approach has been applied to define the process variables (the die entrance velocity and the die length) including the rheology during deformation. The result for the axisymmetric extrusion process has been verified with rigid-viscoplastic finite element analysis. It has been confirmed that the optimal die has wider band of constant strain rate than the conical one does.

  • This study presents the plastic analysis for the flexural and shear strength of RC beams related to anchorage failure. Five failure mechanisms based on the upper bound solution were constructed and the ultimate strength equations were formulated from them. The parametric study herein was carried out to observe the variation of the controlling failure mechanism depending on the parameters in the ultimate strength equations. The results of the parametric study show that controlling failure mechanism and ultimate strength are determined through the interaction of each parameter. This indicated that respective structural configuratins must be treated in a unified manner. Additionally this study proposes the scope of the parameter to induce the flexural of RC deep beams.

  • Many papers have shown limit loads of v-notched tension specimens in plane stress by the elastic-plastic finite element method. But they are always higher than the theoretical maximum loads. The present approach tries to find the reasons and formulates correction factor applicable to any notch shape using virtual work principle with triangular elements. The corrected limit loads are in good agreement with theoretical upper bound solutions and they are little influenced by mesh size and specimen length, which make the computing time save.

  • Closed-die forging of spur gears with hollow cylindrical billet has been analysed by using the upper-bound method. A kinematically admiccible velocity field has been developed. wherein, an involute curve has been introduced to represent the forging die profile. In the analysis, the deformation regions have been divided into nine zones. A constant frictional stress has been assumed on the contacting surfaces. Utilizing the formulated velocity field, numerical calcuations have been carried out to investigate the effects of various parameters, such as module, number of teeth and friction factor,on the forging of spur gears.

  • 이중 편파 안테나 시스템은 근거리 가시광 통신 채널 환경에서 통신하기 위한 기술로 연구되어왔다. 본 논문에서는 편파 회전각이 미정렬된 상황에서 편파 안테나 간 발생하는 간섭을 고려한 랜덤 변수의 확률 밀도 함수를 구하고, 오수신(outage) 확률을 분석하였다. 또한 편파 회전각이 미정렬된 이중 편파 안테나 시스템의 상한 전송 용량이 4.5324 bps/hz 임을 밝혔다.

  • 본 논문에서는 신호 공간 다이버시티 (Signal Space Diversity) 기법이 적용된 시스템에서 최대비 합성 (Maximal Ratio Combining) 수신시 성능 이득에 대해서 분석하였다. 먼저 심볼 오류율(Symbol Error Rate)을 수학적으로 유도하였다. 유도된 공식으로부터 상한(Upper Bound) 분석을 통해 공간 신호 다이버시티 기법이 결합될 경우 기존 대비 2배, 즉 '$2{\times}$수신안테나수' 만큼의 다이버시티 이득을 가짐을 증명하였다. 그리고 모의실험 결과와 유도된 공식 결과 값이 서로 일치함을 보여 정확성을 입증하였으며, 유도된 공식을 기반으로 신호 대 잡음비(SNR; Signal-to-Noise Ratio), 수신 안테나 개수 등 주어진 시스템 변수에 따른 최적 회전 각도를 정확히 도출할 수 있음을 보였다.

  • Let $\cal{H}$ and $\cal{K}$ be Hilbert spaces and let T, $\tilde{T}$ = T + ${\delta}T$ be bounded operators from $\cal{H}$ into $\cal{K}$. In this article, two facts related to the perturbation bounds are studied. The first one is to find the upper bound of $\parallel\tilde{T}^+\;-\;T^+\parallel$ which extends the results obtained by the second author and enriches the perturbation theory for the Moore-Penrose inverse. The other one is to develop explicit representations of projectors $\parallel\tilde{T}\tilde{T}^+\;-\;TT^+\parallel$ and $\parallel\tilde{T}^+\tilde{T}\;-\;T^+T\parallel$. In addition, some spectral cases related to these results are analyzed.

Collapse analysis of shallow tunnel subjected to seepage in layered soils considering joined effects of settlement and dilation

  • The stability prediction of shallow buried tunnels is one of the most difficult tasks in civil engineering. The aim of this work is to predict the state of collapse in shallow tunnel in layered soils by employing non-associated flow rule and nonlinear failure criterion within the framework of upper bound theorem. Particular emphasis is first given to consider the effects of dilation on the collapse mechanism of shallow tunnel. Furthermore, the seepage forces and surface settlement are considered to analyze the influence of different dilation coefficients on the collapse shape. Two different curve functions which describe two different soil layers are obtained by virtual work equations under the variational principle. The distinct characteristics of falling blocks up and down the water level are discussed in the present work. According to the numerical results, the potential collapse range decreases with the increase of the dilation coefficient. In layered soils, both of the single layer's dilation coefficient and two layers' dilation coefficients increase, the range of the potential collapse block reduces.
