This research was focused on the identification of difficult temperament of childhood. In order to identify the difficult temperament of childhood 336 of 3 and 6 graders were investigated. the difficult temperament of childhood was defined as the cahracteristics which were perceived as difficult for taking care of by mothers related to negative mother's attitude and related to the children's low competence. Mothers felt difficult in caring for the children with high activity and negative mood. Mothers showed negative attitude to the children with negative mood and low persistence. And the children with unpredictability and low persistence had lower perceived competence. In short high activity unpredictability negative mood and low persistence might be said as difficult temperament of childhood, These temperament categories-activity predictability mood and persistence-appeared as one factor in factor analysis. unpredictability negative mood and low persistency were shown as the difficult temperament in other studies but high activity should be examined more carefully.

As the spatial resolution of remote sensing satellites becomes higher, very accurate determination of the position of a LEO (Low Earth Orbit) satellite is demanding more than ever. Non-symmetric Earth gravity is the major perturbation force to LEO satellites. Since the orbit propagation is performed in the celestial frame while Earth gravity is defined in the terrestrial frame, it is required to convert the coordinates of the satellite from one to the other accurately. Unless the coordinate conversion between the two frames is performed accurately the orbit propagation calculates incorrect Earth gravitational force at a specific time instant, and hence, causes errors in orbit prediction. The coordinate conversion between the two frames involves precession, nutation, Earth rotation and polar motion. Among these factors, unpredictability and uncertainty of Earth rotation, called UTI-UTC, is the largest error source. In this paper, the effect of UTI-UTC on the accuracy of the LEO propagation is introduced, tested and analzed. Considering the maximum unpredictability of UTI-UTC, 0.9 seconds, the meaningful order of non-spherical Earth harmonic functions is derived.

The purpose of this study was to build a substantive theory about the experience of the maternal uncertainty in childhood chronic illness. The qualitative research method used was grounded theory. The interviewees were 12 mothers who have cared for a child who had chronic illness. The data were collected through in-depth interviews with audiotape recording done by the investigator over a period of nine months. The data were analyzed simutaneously by a constant comparative method in which new data were continuously coded into categories and properties according to Strauss and Corbin's methodology. The 34 concepts were identified as a result of analyzing the grounded data. Ten categories emerged from the analysis. The categories were lack of clarity, unpredictability, unfamiliarity, negative change, anxiety, devotion normalization and burn-out. Causal conditions included : lack of clarity, unpredictability, unfamiliarity and change ; central phenomena : anxiety, being perplexed ; context. seriousness of illness, support ; intervening condition : belief action/interaction strategies devotion, overprotection ; consequences : normalization, burn-out. These categories were synthesized into the core concept-anxiety. The process of experiencing uncertainty was 1) Entering the world of uncertainty, 2) Struggling in the tunnel of uncertainty, 3) Reconstruction of the situation of uncertainty. Four hypotheses were derived from the analysis : (1) The higher the lack of clarity, unpredictability, unfamiliaity, change, the higher the level of uncertainty (2) The more serious the illness and the less the support, the higher the level of uncertainty. (3) The positive believes will influence the devoted care and normalization of the family life. Through this substantive theory, pediatric nurses can understand the process of experiencing maternal uncertainty in childhood chronic illness. Further research to build substantive theories to explain other uncertainties may contribute to a formal theory of how normalization is achieved in the family with chronically ill child.

본 논문에서는 영상처리 및 패턴인식 관련 과목에서 알고리즘의 효과적인 교육과 학습 흥미 유발이 가능하게 하는 LEGO Mindstorms 기반의 설계 프로젝트의 운영 방안에 대해 제안한다. 또한 실제 적용 사례를 분석하여 그 타당성을 검증한다. Mindstorms는 10여 년 전부터 여러 나라의 정규 교과목 수업에 활발하게 사용되고 있으며 수업에 적용한 사례에 대한 연구도 다수 발표되었다. 연구 결과는 대체적으로 Mindstorms의 사용이 수업에 긍정적인 효과를 나타내는 것으로 보고하고 있지만 일부 부정적 의견도 존재한다. 부정적 견해의 주요 원인은 Mindstorms의 사용으로 인한 비예측적인(unpredictable) 요소의 발생이다. 이런 비예측성은 주로 로봇의 아날로그적인 특징에 기인하며 학습 효율의 저하를 초래하고 있다. 본 논문에서 기술하는 설계 프로젝트는 로봇에 대한 의존도를 최소화하여 비예측적인 요소의 발생을 억제함으로써 로봇 사용으로 인한 수업 흥미도는 증가시키되 추가적으로 발생할 수 있는 학습내용과 고려사항은 최소화하여 알고리즘 학습에 집중할 수 있도록 한다.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was two-fold: to investigate the effects of uncertainty and depression on the quality of life (QoL) of elderly people with chronic diseases and to provide basic data on the physical, emotional, and psychological factors affecting their QoL in the field of physical therapy. Methods : A questionnaire covering uncertainty, depression, and QoL was distributed among 320 elderly people. Pearson's correlation analysis was performed to examine the correlation between uncertainty (ambiguity, complexity, inconsistency, and unpredictability), depression, and QoL (physical, psychological, social, and living environment domains) of the respondents; furthermore, multiple regression analysis was performed to identify the factors affecting the QoL of the respondents with a chronic disease. Results : The sub-factors of uncertainty and QoL-"complexity and social domain" (r=-.295, p<.001), "complexity and living environment domain" (r=-.302, p<.001), and "inconsistency and living environment domain" (r=-.360, p<.001)-showed a negative (-) correlation, as did depression and the sub-factors of QoL-"depression and physical domain" (r=-.782, p<.001), "depression and psychological domain" (r=-.876, p<.001), "depression and social domain" (r=-.668, p<.001), and "depression and living environment domain" (r=-.731, p<.001). The factors affecting QoL were complexity (𝛽=-.122, p<.001), inconsistency (𝛽=-.102, p=.002), unpredictability (𝛽=.112, p<.001), and depression (𝛽=-.850, p<.001). The relative influence of the independent variables was in the order of depression, complexity, unpredictability, and inconsistency, and the explanatory power was 77.1 % (F=215.853, p<.001). Conclusion : It is important to help the elderly with chronic diseases reduce the negative impact on their quality of life by helping them gain support from their families and medical professionals and by increasing their understanding through communication so that they can transition from negative emotions to positive emotions of opportunity.

This thesis discusses a performer's unpredictability and immediacy as a prerequisite quality and/or ability to facilitate his/her professional identity as a doer on stage. To examine the key principles and approaches, this research focuses on addressing a specific aspect of the performer's transformative experience from those, directors, and practitioners' concepts that inform and enhance the performer's passive readiness on stage. To be precise, this research attempt to interrogate and articulate the place and role of a performer's internal readiness and/or that of inner looking. The performer's inner intensity as seed of action signifies that his/her body is being in a state of listening to every tiny moment with his/her heightened awareness which in turn lead the performer's body to meet the demands of theatre, the whole-body engagement. Here, this thesis argues that the key principles of acting/training underlies the importance of a performer's ethical attitude and at the same time his/her responsibility for what the performer's choices and experiences within the performative involvement, that is, a process of preparation, are not technical matter but rather, the concepts, and/or approaches from those theatre artists' practical assumptions highlight a process of thorough encountering and/or listening to his/her body. Inhabiting and/or obtaining the principles through the performer's body means being free from his/her unnecessary trait(s) which in turn initiate and then move the whole body according to what is happening in the series of moment(s) on stage. What is more, such an appropriate psychophysical order reminds us of the significance of the nature of human/performer's body, namely, to being in a state of one's 'own' body as oneness. From this perspective, this thesis further argues that the performer's body necessarily need to be affected and/or triggered in a sense of responding to the given circumstance where the performer is working on in the here and now.

본 연구는 일부지역 뇌혈관질환 환자들의 건강습관 실천과 관련된 요인을 파악하기 위해 시도되었다. 2010년 5월 3일부터 6월 3일까지 서울에 소재한 종합병원에 내원한 뇌혈관질환 환자 142명을 대상으로 설문 및 면접조사를 하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 뇌혈관질환 환자는 건강정보는 불예측성과 유의한 음의 상관관계를 보였고 (r=-0.264, p<0.01), 불예측성과 스트레스는 유의한 양의 상관관계를 나타내었다(r=0.582, p<0.01). 둘째, 다중회귀분석 결과, 뇌혈관질환 환자의 건강습관 실천의 영향요인은 연령($R^2$=0.62, p=0.000), 불예측성($R^2$=0.096, p=0.006), 건강정보($R^2$=0.055, p=0.005), 성별($R^2$=0.068, p=0.003), 약물 복용여부($R^2$=0.041, p=0.017)인 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 뇌혈관질환 환자들의 건강습관 실천을 증진시키기 위해서는 건강정보를 높이고 불확실성을 낮춰 줄 수 있는 의학 중재가 필요하다.

불안정 고용은 우울 등의 정신건강에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 잘 알려져 있다. 본 연구는 불안정 고용의 임시성, 낮은 권한, 취약성, 권리 행사의 어려움, 노동시간의 불확실성, 낮은 임금이라는 여섯 가지 다차원적 특징을 고용 불안정성으로 정의하고, 우울에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 제5차 근로환경조사 자료를 활용하여 임금노동자의 여섯 가지 차원의 고용 불안정성을 측정하고(0~100점), 각 불안정성이 우울에 미치는 영향을 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 남성의 우울 위험은 취약성, 권리 행사의 어려움, 노동시간 불확실성 점수가 1점 증가할 때 각각 3.1%, 1%, 0.5% 증가했다. 여성에서는 임시성, 취약성, 권리 행사의 어려움이 1점 증가할 때 우울 위험이 각각 0.5%, 2.3%, 0.8% 증가했다. 고용 불안정성의 다차원적 개념을 활용해 노동자 우울을 살펴본 연구 결과, 노동자들의 건강은 안정적인 고용 계약은 물론 이들의 실질적인 노동 권리가 보장될 때 실현가능함을 시사한다.

하드웨어를 이용한 보안 프로토콜 구현 및 사용에 있어 물리적 복제 불가능 회로 연구가 증가하고 있다. 물리적 복제 불가능 회로는 집적 회로 및 보안 시스템의 인증, 복제 방지. 중요 정보 저장 등의 기능 수행이 가능하다. 물리적 복제 불가능 회로의 구현을 통해 기밀성, 무결성, 가용성 보안 기능 중 많은 보안 기능의 적용이 가능한 솔루션이다. 따라서, 물리적 복제 불가능 회로는 안전한 반도체 집적 회로 및 보안 시스템 구현에 중요한 기반 기술로 주목받고 있다. 하지만, 물리적 복제 불가능회로가 보안 기능을 갖기 위해서는 예측 불가능성, 특이성, 견고성 특성을 가져야 한다, 이 연구에서는 물리적 복제 불가능 회로의 특성 방법에 관하여 자세히 설명하고 소개한다. 이 연구 결과를 적용하여 구현한 물리적 복제 불가능 회로의 정량적 특성 평가가 가능하고 보안 시스템의 적용 가능성을 평가할 수 있다.

Due to the unpredictability and irregularity, the behaviors of chaotic systems are considered as undesirable phenomena to be avoided or controlled. Thus in this paper, to control systems showing chaotic behaviors, a direct adaptive control method using a radial basis function network (RBFN) as an excellent alternative of multi-layered feed-forward networks is presented. Compared with an indirect scheme, a direct one does not need the estimation of the controlled process and gives fast control effects. Through simulations on the two representative continuous-time chaotic systems, Duffing and Lorenz systems, validity of the proposed control scheme is shown.
