간호대 여학생의 음주관련 지식, 태도 및 음주행위에 관한 연구 (Drinking-related knowledge, attitude and drinking behaviors of female college students)

  • Purpose: This study was to investigate the relationships between drinking-related knowledge, attitude and drinking behaviors of 244 female nursing college students in G city. Methods: This is descriptive research design. Data were collected from September 27th to October 10th, 2010 after obtaining the informed consent from the participants and analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, scheffe' test and pearson's correlation coefficients. Results: The drinking-related knowledge scores were significant differences by grade and club activities. The drinking-related attitude scores were significant differences by source of income. Drinking behaviors were significant differences by school record and club activities. Regarding the relationships between variables, there was a positive relationship between drinking behaviors and drinking-related knowledge or attitude. Conclusion: The drinking-related knowledge score of freshmen or the students involved in club activities was the lowest, and the higher the drinking-related knowledge and attitude were, the higher the drinking behaviors were. Therefore, appropriate drinking prevention education need to be implemented to freshmen or in middle and high school repeatedly.

간호대학 신입생의 학교적응에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting Adaptation to School Life of Freshmen Enrolled in Nursing at a Junior College)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors affecting adaptation to school life of freshmen enrolled in nursing at a Junior College. Method: The data were collected from questionnaires filled out by 312 nursing students in two schools at J and I city from March 7-11, 2011. Data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN18 program. Result: Self-esteem and adaptation to school life were higher than previous advanced research showed, self-efficacy was moderate and stress to school life was lower than other studies. School adaptation level was related to satisfaction of friendship, school life and the nursing program. The subjects who have chosen nursing by themselves and male students scored higher in their school adaptation. The greatest factors affecting adaptation to school life were satisfaction of school life and stress respectively. Conclusion: Inpre-admission, enough information about nursing school life through experience of previous students must be given. Then, a school adaptation program which incorporates counseling and mentoring should be provided for supporting understanding of school life.

대학생의 낙관성과 행복추구경향이 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Optimism and Orientations to Happiness on Psychological Well-Being of College Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate college students' psychological well-being influenced by optimism and orientations to happiness. The participants were 412 college students aged from 20 to 28. Data were analyzed using Cronbach's alpha, frequencies, percentiles, means, standard deviations, two-way ANOVAs and hierarchical regression analyses. The major findings were as follows. 1) In optimism, there were no significant differences in gender and the year of study in college. In orientations to happiness, male students pursued engagement in happiness more than female students and the seniors reported a significantly higher level of pursuit of happiness than freshmen did. In terms of psychological well-being, seniors scored significantly higher psychological well-being than freshmen. 2) Optimism and orientations to happiness were significant predictors of the psychological well-being of college students. With circumstances and optimism controlled, orientations to happiness still showed 13% variance in psychological well-being.

예비 유아교사의 정서지능이 자아개념 및 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Emotional Intelligence on Self-Concept and Self-Efficacy among Preservice Early Childhood Teachers)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of the emotional intelligence of preservice early childhood teachers on their self-concept and self-efficacy in an attempt to provide some information on the development of the emotional intelligence of preservice early childhood teachers. The subjects in this study were the freshmen, sophomores and juniors who were in the departments of early childhood education in private colleges and universities in Chungcheong, Kyonggi, Seoul, in Korea. After a survey was conducted, the following findings were given: First, the juniors had the best self-concept of the others, and the freshmen were ahead of the others in self-efficacy. The university students had a better self-concept than the college students. Second, emotional intelligence had a statistically significant positive correlation to self-concept and self-efficacy. Third, all the sub-factors of emotional intelligence exerted a statistically significant positive influence on self-concept. Among the sub-factors of emotional intelligence, emotional regulation and emotional utilization exerted a statistically significant positive influence on self-efficacy. The findings of the study illustrated that the preservice early childhood teachers had a better self-concept and a better self-efficacy when they were better at emotional intelligence.

인지정서행동집단상담 프로그램이 간호대학 신입생의 자기효능감과 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향 (Effects of a Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy Counseling Program on Self-efficacy and Adjustment to College Life for Nursing Freshmen)

  • Purpose: This purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT) counseling program on self-efficacy and adjustment to college life for nursing freshmen. Methods: This study used a nonequivalent control pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design. Thirty-eight new nursing students were randomly assigned to either an experimental group (n=18) or a control group (n=20) recruited from a four-year nursing college. An REBT counseling program was composed of 8 group sessions of orientation, understanding the theory of REBT, finding irrational beliefs, internalizing rational beliefs, and closing over a duration of 5 weeks. The duration of each session was 90 minutes. Self-efficacy and adjustment to school life were measured by the Sherer's Self-Efficacy Scale and Baker & Siryk's Student Adjustment to College before and after the REBT counseling program. Data were analyzed using t-tests and paired t-tests. Results: The experimental group showed a significant improvement in self-efficacy compared to the control group. There was no significant change in college life adjustment between the experimental and control groups. Conclusion: An REBT counseling program could be applied as an effective program in enhancing self-efficacy resulting in positive and goal-oriented behavior for new nursing students in college.

간호대학생의 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향 (Influence on Adjustment of University Life among Nnursing Students)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 건강증진행위, 스트레스, 자아효능감이 간호대학생 1, 2 학년의 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위함이다. 자료는 1개 대학교 간호대학생 150명을 대상으로 2018년 11월 1일부터 11월 20일까지 자기기입식 설문지로 설문조사하여 수집하였다. 자료는 SPSS 22.0 (frequency, ANOVA, pearson's correlation, multiple regression) program 으로 분석하였다. 대학생활 적응 평균점수는 $75.85{\pm}9.43$ (범위:25~125) 이었다. 대학생활 적응은 스트레스와 부적 상관관계를 보였고 자아효능감과 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 스트레스는 자아효능감과 부적 상관관계를 보였다. 간호대학생 1, 2학년의 대학생활 적응에 영향을 미치는 요인들은 건강증진행위 (수면시간, 간식섭취, 음주, 취미활동), 스트레스, 자아효능감 등이었다. 덧붙여 건강증진행위, 스트레스, 자아효능감 등은 대학생활 적응에 13.9%의 설명력을 보였다. 이 연구의 결론은 건강증진행위(수면시간, 간식섭취, 음주, 취미활동), 스트레스, 자아효능감 등은 간호대학생 1, 2학년의 대학생활 적응에 중요한 영향을 미친다. 후속 연구에서는 건강증진행위와 자아효능감을 향상시키고 스트레스를 감소시키려는 연구가 필요하다. 간호대학생의 대학생활 적응을 향상시키기 위하여 위의 의미있는 변수들을 반영한 대학생활 적응 향상 프로그램을 개발해야 할 것이다.

사이버대학 중도탈락 개선을 위한 예측모형 개발 (Development of Prediction Model to Improve Dropout of Cyber University)

  • 사이버대학교는 20대 중심의 일반대학교 학생보다 사회적 배경, 경제적 요인, IT 지식 및 활용능력 등. 복잡한 교육환경의 변화 요인으로 신입생들의 중도탈락이 높은 실정이다. 따라서 사이버대학교 학생은 일반대학교와 다른 중도탈락 방지 대책과 개선 방법이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 A 사이버대학의 2017년 및 2018년 1학기 중도탈락에 영향을 미치는 요인을 추출하고 '의사결정트리모델'을 통하여 중점관리 및 상담기준을 분류하여 주요 요인을 도출하였다. 각 주요 요인에 대하여 의사결정 적용기준과 주차별 추진방법을 제시하여 '중도탈락개선모형'으로 구현하였다. 그리고 2019년 1학기 신입생을 대상으로 실제로 운영되고 있는 사이버대학 강의운영에 적용하였다. 그 결과 '중도탈락개선모형'을 적용한 신입생의 중도탈락률은 4.2% 감소하였고 학업지속비율은 11.4% 증가하였다. 본 연구의 주요한 의미는 설문지 조사와 사이버대학 LMS(Learning Management System) 학습활동 결과를 동시에 적용하여 객관적인 분석을 하였다는 것이다. 그러나 학생 자료에 대한 정량적인 요인분석은 되었지만, 정성적인 요인분석이 반영되지 못하였고 연구의 구조적인 한계점이 있어 후속연구가 필요하다. 본 연구에서 구현된 개선모형은 사이버대학의 중도탈락률 및 학업지속비율 개선에 유효하게 적용될 것으로 기대한다.

대학 신입생들의 함수의 그래프 표현에 관한 연구 (A study about Graph Representation of Function of College freshmen)

  • 한국의 대학수학교육은 학생들의 질적 그리고 수적 감소로 인해 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이 논문에서는 다항함수, 유리함수, 무리함수, 로그.지수함수와 같이 고등학교 수학과정에서 이미 습득한 기본적인 함수들에 대한 이해도를 측정하였다. 대전과 충청지역 4개 대학의 신입생 354명을 대상으로 조사한 결과, 다항함수를 제외한 주어진 함수들의 그래프를 그리지 못한 학생들이 절반 이상이었으며, 또한 함수가 지니고 있는 정보들(정의역, 치역, 최대.최소값, 주기, 평행이동)에 대한 이해가 부족한 것으로 나타났다.

학습역량 저하 공과대학 신입생을 위한 기초역량 증진 복습교과목 개발 및 효과성 분석 (Development and Effectiveness Analysis of a Review Course to Enhance Basic Competencies for Freshmen with Reduced Learning Ability in the College of Engineering)

  • In order to enhance basic competencies for freshmen at engineering college, whose learning ability is gradually declining, a new course was developed to review basic mathematics and physics through a process of collecting opinions from fellow professors. Tests in six fields of math and physics with the same problems showed the correct answer rate rose from 24.8% at the beginning of the semester to 59.0% at the end of the semester after operating the course developed. According to the survey, the students' self-evaluated confidence on the basic competencies in 16 fields of math and physics showed a significant increase. Students with high confidence in basic competencies also received high actual grades. General high school graduates' confidence point in basic competencies improved from 54.7 at the beginning to 75.3 points at the end of the semester, while specialized high school graduates' enhanced from 38.3 to 64.0 which is higher than that of general high school graduates at the beginning of the semester.
