거주자의 문화를 통해 본 강화도 최소중정형 튼입구자집($\sqcap$형 평면)의 해석 (Interpretation of House Form with Dweller's Life, on the U-type Folk Housing of Minimum Courtyard in Kangwha Island)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand underlying principle to form the U-type folk house in the northwestern part of Kangwha Island by viewpoint of inner residents. It is found that many factors other than climate are coincidentally affecting the shape of house; Resident's fixed thought like following geomancer' suggestion, seeking fortune, and locating house enclosed low site; Economic reason of uniting one house with two buildings and making small type by used timber from dismantled house; Centralizing life with small courtyard by reason of family type change from extended to nuclear; Influence from L or ㅁ type of upper class building at Seoul area. The method is thick description of culture with ethnographic method from cognitive anthropology: Observing the form and restoring residents' life with open-ended deep interview.

  • In this paper we point out an Ostrowski type inequality for the Riemann-Stieltjes integral ${\int}_a^b$ f (t) du (t), where f is of p-H-$H{\ddot{o}}lder$ type on [a,b], and u is of bounded variation on [a,b]. Applications for the approximation problem of the Riemann-Stieltjes integral in terms of Riemann-Stieltjes sums are also given.

  • In this paper we consider analogous of Gronwall-type inequalities involving iterated integrals in the inequality (1.2) for functions when the function u in the right-hand side of the in­equality (1.2) is replaced by the function $u^P$ for some p. These inequalities are effective tools in the study of a system of an integral equation. We also provide some integral inequalities involving iterated integrals.

  • Finite difference schemes are considered for a generalization of the Cahn-Hilliard equation with Neumann boundary conditions and the Kuramoto-Sivashinsky equation with a periodic boundary condition, which is of the type $ut+\frac{{\partial}^2} {{\partial}x^2}\;g\;(u,\;u_x,\;u_{xx})=f(u,\;u_x,\;u_{xx})$. Stability and $L^{\infty}$ error estimates of approximate solutions for the corresponding schemes are obtained using the extended Lax-Richtmyer equivalence theorem.

  • Using variational methods, Krasnoselskii's genus theory and symmetric mountain pass theorem, we introduce the existence and multiplicity of solutions of a parameteric local equation. At first, we consider the following equation $$\{-div[a(x,{\mid}{\nabla}u{\mid}){\nabla}u]\,=\,{\mu}(b(x){\mid}u{\mid}^{s(x)-2}-{\mid}u{\mid}^{r(x)-2})u\;in\;{\Omega},\\u\,=0\,on\;{\partial}{\Omega},$$ where Ω⊆ ℝN is a bounded domain, µ is a positive real parameter, p, r and s are continuous real functions on ${\bar{\Omega}}$ and a(x, ξ) is of type |ξ|p(x)-2. Next, we study boundedness and simplicity of eigenfunction for the case a(x, |∇u|)∇u = g(x)|∇u|p(x)-2∇u, where g ∈ L(Ω) and g(x) ≥ 0 and the case $a(x,\,{\mid}{\nabla}u{\mid}){{\nabla}u}\,=\,(1\,+\,{\nabla}u{\mid}^2)^{\frac{p(x)-2}{2}}{\nabla}u$ such that p(x) ≡ p.

결핵 환자의 재원기간과 사망에 영향을 미치는 요인(2008-2017): 퇴원손상자료를 중심으로 (Factors Affecting Length of Stay and Death in Tuberculosis Patients(2008-2017): Focus on the Korean National Hospital Discharge In-depth Injury Survey)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 2008년부터 2017년까지의 결핵환자의 결핵 종류, 환자 특성, 입원 및 질병관련 특성, 의료기관 특성에 따른 재원기간과 사망에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 한다. 질병관리청에서 제공하는 퇴원손상심층조사자료를 활용하였고, 제6차 한국표준질병사인분류(KCD)의 퇴원시 진단 코드가 결핵(A15, A16, A17, A18, A19, U88.0, U88.1, U84.30, U84.31)인 환자를 추출하여 총 10,634건을 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 통계 프로그램 STATA 13.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, 교차분석(chi-square test), Fisher's exact test와 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과로 재원기간에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 폐결핵을 기준으로 폐외결핵, 복합결핵, 내성결핵일 때, 남자보다는 여자일 때, 연령이 높을수록, CCI(Charlson Comorbidity Index) 점수가 높을수록, 병원소재지 서울을 기준으로 광역시일 때 14일 이상 재원환자가 많았지만 외래경유, 병상규모가 작을수록 14일 이상 재원환자가 적었다. 그리고 사망에 영향을 미치는 요인은 폐결핵을 기준으로 폐외결핵, 내성결핵 일 때, 남자보다는 여자일 때, 연령이 높을수록, CCI 점수가 높을수록, 병원소재지가 서울을 기준으로 광역시, 도지역일 때 사망이 높았으나 거주지가 특별시일때 보다는 농촌, 외래경유 입원인 경우 사망이 낮았다. 결론으로 기존의 결핵관리가 조기발견에 따른 신속한 진단과 치료의 환자 관리였다면 앞으로는 장기재원과 치료결과 사망률이 높은 고위험군을 파악하고 이를 지원하는 제도를 위한 연구들이 추가적으로 진행되어야 할 것이다.

  • The word of U-City means next generation information city. U-City mixes both high technology information infrastructure and ubiquitous information in city to improve easy life in city, quality of life, personal security in city life, and well-fare service and to make business in new area. To provide information and joy of life to citizen in U-city, we will design U-Booth among IT infrastructure solutions. In this article, we will study designing city-type U-Booth and summarize designing point of U-Booth in terms of the specific place. At last, we want to say about the role of U-Booth in U-city. In this article, we want to study designing point of U-Booth and important parts in terms of the specific place of U-Booth.

  • Recently, the development of u-City and u-City services have been actively pursued by individual local government bodies in South Korea. This study focuses on the development of u-Health service, one of the services of u-City, by studying u-Health services in development (domestic and foreign) and by analyzing and proposing the communication infrastructure required to provide such services. Mainly, this study will focus on analyzing the current trend in personal mobile device based u-Health services domestically and internationally, and propose a new type of u-Health service, u-Diet service. The study will introduce the architecture, service scenario, technologies, characteristics, and the business model for the u-Diet service. It is expected that this study will provide the guideline for developing new u-Health services.

난방기용 콘형 가스버너에서 3차원 난류 유동장 고찰 - 난류특성치에 대하여 - (Investigation of the Three-dimensional Turbulent Flow Fields in Cone Type Gas Burner for Furnace - On the Turbulent Characteristics -)

  • This paper represents the turbulent intensity, the turbulent kinetic energy and Reynolds shear stress in the X-Y plane of cone type swirl gas burner measured by using X-probe from the hot-wire anemometer system. The experiment is carried out at flowrate 350 and $450{\ell}/min$ respectively in the test section of subsonic wind tunnel. The turbulent intensity and the turbulent kinetic energy show that the maximum value is formed in the narrow slits distributed radially on the edge of a cone type swirl burner, hence, the combustion reaction is anticipated to occur actively near this region. And the turbulent intensities ${\upsilon}\;and\;{\omega}$ are disappeared faster than the turbulent intensity u due to the inclined flow velocity ejecting from the swirl vanes of a cone type baffle plate of burner. Moreover, the Reynolds shear stress $u{\upsilon}$ is distributed about three times as large as the Reynolds shear stress $u{\omega}$ in the outer region of the cone type gas burner.
